Coping with the end of Gotchard with some Houtaro/Rinne hcs
I love this show to bits and I love my children to pieces
Houtaro doesn't get the nerve to confess to Rinne until their graduation day and even then he could barely get the words out. In the end he ripped the second button on his blazer off and hoped to Fruit Jesus that she understood what it meant. Thankfully, she did- and she responded by backing Houtaro into the sakura tree he brought her to confess under and kissed the living daylights out of him. (Atropos had to egg her into doing it lol)
Kyoka and Minato had a bet going on on how long it would take for those two to get together. Minato lost badly
Their first date got crashed by quite a few spies... Sabimaru, Renge Ryo, Lachesis and a very reluctant Spanner at one table, Keiwa, Daiji, Rintaro and Isamu at another, and Ikki, Touma and Aruto at another (Ace was also spying via fox god powers). Needless to say, neither Houtaro nor Rinne were amused
When Houtaro first brought Rinne home as his girlfriend, Mama Ichinose hugged Rinne hard enough to bruise her ribs and Papa Ichinose teased Houtaro for somehow getting someone as smart and pretty as Rinne
Houtaro and Rinne move in together about a year or so into their relationship. By then both were devoted to their alchemy studies full time, with Houtaro aiming to become a teacher at the Academy and Rinne focusing more on the research side and working with her dad
Naturally, they got pitted against each other for their advancement exams. They promised each other they wouldn't hold back on the other so they went all out in their match (short of actually transforming and using the Chemmies which they were explicitly barred from doing). Minato eventually had to stop them because they were doing too much damage to the area
Their academy senpai threw them a party after their advancement was confirmed, and both had a bit too much to drink... Let's just say things got a bit heated that night
There were a few people who had... feelings over Houtaro and Rinne having an active sex life lol. Particularly the ones who don't get any action even though they're a world famous superstar (cough Ace cough)
Houtaro started thinking of proposing to Rinne when Spanner and Lachesis got married. He asked Spanner for advice and poor Spanner had to admit that he had been so nervous that he passed out and he ended up proposing while in the ER for a concussion (RIP Spanner's dignity, yes he deserves it)
Houtaro did ask Rinne's dad permission to marry his daughter, and Fuga's reaction was to laugh and say that he knew Houtaro would take care of Rinne the moment he saw Houtaro ready to take a fatal hit for Rinne (ep. 48)
Still, Houtaro had no idea how to actually propose though, and he turned down every idea suggested to him by other people (including his dad, Minato, Ryo, and fellow Riders)
In the end Houtaro just brought up the idea of getting married randomly over dinner, Rinne admitted she'd been thinking about it as well, and they agreed they should do it soon. They went out the next day and bought the rings and that was that.
The bachelor party was a disaster, par the course for gatherings with many Riders present. Too much alcohol was consumed, Emu cried over his a baby rider getting married, people got freaked out by Shouma's... organ, and Tsukasa went bonkers after one too many people teased him about being Kaguya's father. They are all glad that Kaguya and Aruto are rich enough to pay for damages
Some of the Chemmies were also at the bachelor party and Hopper-1 was disgusted at the lightweights who passed out after a few drinks... or one... and of course he had his favorite Kahlua milk
Also, some time during the bachelor party, Houtaro got kidnapped by Rinne's secondary rider senpai, and they gave him the third degree spiel about what they'd do if he dares to hurt Rinne. They did have the sense to bring him back though (Daiki wanted to leave Houtaro at the random forest they brought him to but Keiwa overruled him)
Sabimaru was the best man, Renge was maid of honor, Ryo was the officiant and Hopper-1 was the flower Chemmy (of course, it was the same yellow flowers from Rinne's story).
Houtaro cried the second he saw Rinne walking down the aisle to him on her father's arm. And he was so awestruck by her that he stammered through his vows even though he was reading them from a piece of paper ("Can you blame me? I'm marrying the prettiest woman on Earth!!")

The lack of a winter Kamen Rider crossover movie has got me thinking that we don’t really need a Gavv x Gotchard crossover.
Gotchard’s story ended in a way that makes it difficult to create an epilogue that can also cross over into Gavv’s currently ongoing narrative. Bias for Gotchard aside, the story ending with Houtaro and Rinne’s graduation ends up creating a bookend for Gotchard’s story as a whole. Things can happen in between the TV show finale and the VCinema, but unless Hasegawa and the writing team are expecting to ass-pull a threat that was on par or worse than Geryon is unlikely. And even then, how would that connect to Gavv’s narrative? They just killed Sheeta, and there hasn’t really been a narrative break that you could slot the crossover into. Jeep’s out for revenge, and Nylev’s conspiring with Suga about something. I guess you could have Rango or Glotta doing something, but usually the movie’s there to feature a celebrity guest. Like the only thing I could see being a hook for Gavv is Lage9 becoming Vram in a post-credits scene.
The continuity snarl just makes all the recent winter movie lineups just so… off. In Revice x Saber, Touma had already given his sword back to the Sword of Logos, but now he has it again? And Geats x Revice makes no sense from a timeline perspective. Somehow the Igarashis had a fourth kid in the three months since the end of Revice, okay, a bit of a leap, but okay. Then the villains of the Revice side of the story are… what exactly? They’re… aliens. They’re not even demons? You know, the whole motif of Revice? Of ALL the reasons to have Ikki resurrect Vice and become Revice again, it’s ALIENS?! Not like a Giff cultist leftover? Hell, you could even use Orteca as the villain and have him actually matter! But nah. ALIENS! And they’re just working for the villain of the Geats side of the story, Colus, a former Game Master of the DGP. Colus’s inclusion in the movie makes way more sense than just ALIENS. Oh, and Keiwa also has an inner demon. This won’t matter until the last arc of Geats, but… LOOK! KEIWA WITH AN EARRING! Oh, and Michinaga’s not dead, but he was supposed to be dead in the Jyama Gardens… weren’t the DGP on a manhunt for Ace? Wasn’t Giroli fired as Game Master? Oh, Michinaga’s dead again. Bye bye, Tinkywinky~
Honestly, the winter movies really took a narrative dive when they stopped using the Movie Wars format with Ghost x Drive. Drive’s main story ended with Mr. Belt sealing himself away and all Roimudes eliminated. And both VCinemas feel narratively satisfying, Chase’s story being a side story that fits in with Drive’s timeline, and the Heart/Mach story acting as the epilogue after Shinnosuke’s retired from being a Rider and Gou’s making plans to resurrect Chase (and possibly Heart, Brain, and Medic). But then for the Ghost crossover, the Roimude commanders and Chase are resurrected as a part of a butterfly effect only to disappear once more when the time travel un-travels, ON TOP OF Mr. Belt waking himself up for the final fight only to go back to sleep. That’s also not accounting for Heisei Generations 1, where Gaim crashes into the sealed Drive Pit to wake up Mr. Belt AGAIN just so we can have the five Riders fighting together. Narratively, having Drive the Rider show up in a crossover where he’s not a summon makes no sense and is unsatisfying.
Speaking of unsatisfying, Reiwa the First Generation. OH BOY MORE TIME TRAVEL! Oma Zi-O Sougo reset the timeline as well as his and his friends’ powers, so now he, Geiz, and Tsukuyomi are all normal teens. But wait, no, we need their original personalities for the crossover! Oh, and the Zi-O villain is… a Super Time Jacker Swartz had left over from before he died. Sure. The changes in the timeline make sense because Another Zero-One, but then after the final fight between Sougo and Aruto (???), the Zi-O trio are back to being ordinary high schoolers without powers? And they get their powers back for the Geiz VCinema and whatever the hell Inoue was cooking for the Decade VS Zi-O specials.
OH WAIT, HEISEI GENERATIONS FOREVER! WHAT THE FUCK IS HAPPENING?! HOW MANY TIMELINES ARE THERE NOW?!
The recent Sentai crossover VCinexts, too. What is happening? The last Sentai crossover movie that I actually enjoyed was probably Kiramager VS Ryusoulger, only because the story makes sense. It’s set after Ryusoulger’s ending, but during the events of Kiramager, and each character being present works with how the former ended and how the latter’s narrative worked. Okay. Cool. Surely they can keep that up for the rest of the Reiwa era, right?
Zenkaiger VS Kiramager: I thought that Zenkaiger established that each Sentai had their own world? But now the Kiramagers are just here? Oh, and why are all the Sentai Reds from Gokaiger up to Ryusoulger here? (RIP to Shishi Red’s suit).
Donbrothers VS Zenkaiger: Okay, Tarou’s done being the leader because he lost his memories- no, wait, he’s back. And Jirou being leader now makes sense, i guess- why is he a dick now? Didn’t his two personalities work things out? Oh, they killed Sonoi… No, it’s okay, it’s fine, I’m FINE WITH THIS! And now Zocks is the main antagonist, no, wait, why is there a Wald? DIdn’t all the Tojiru Gears get destroyed? At least we got Stacey and Hakaiser in the roll call…
King-Ohger VS Donbrothers: Uh huh. The Donbrothers are just… on Terra. No space travel or anything. At least they resolved Sonoi’s unsatisfying death- IT’S GII!
King-Ohger VS Kyoryuger: So… they reset the world of King-Ohger to put Gira in evil clothing. And Daigo just happened to be there when Jeramie was finishing his retelling of the main King-Ohger narrative so he can pull the Gaburimix Shooter out of nowhere to restore the kings’ memories. I think King-Ohger in Space made more sense- wait, why is Tsurugi here? Wasn’t Kyuranger in another universe from the main Sentai world? Oh hey, Kingranger’s here, cool.
Hell, any time the Gokaigers have appeared after the end of the TV show in 2012 with all the Ranger Keys again just… doesn’t make sense? Did they make time to go and collect all the keys one by one? How did they do that in Go-Busters VS Gokaiger? It makes more sense in Strongest Battle, since we see Akaranger lending Marvelous his key, but then in Ten Gokaiger, how does the government have the keys from the Go-Busters to Kiramager teams if they’ve been fighting all these other threats?
Back to the main point, I don’t really see any way that a Gavv x Gotchard could conceivably work, and part of me is relieved that we won’t. You can’t bring back the Sisters, because then what was the point of their deaths? There’s no way there’s another evil alchemist that no one knew about, since the Alchemist Union is basically rebuilt without the three stooges from the main story. And with how the Stomach company is set up, there’s no way Rango is hiding another unknown sibling or family member to act as the main antagonist. Not when the former is willing to throw out his own siblings if they’re not working hard enough. (I can see Dente going “Oh, yeah. Them. I forgot about them for a hot minute. Anyway, they’re SUPER evil, be careful Shouma. Want a potato chip?”)
Taka from Kotetsu Toys Japan made a good point about the Outsiders event - the impact of certain characters showing up in the miniseries or in contexts that don’t make narrative sense lessens the actions that happen to them in their home series. What was the point of Fuwa’s death (?) if Horobi’s back? Why did Evolt choose now of all times to return? Desast is back, but so is Brain? Wasn’t he still being restored by Gou? Why’s the Orphenoc King there? GODDAMNIT GENM’S BACK AGAIN?!

i've gone on and on about this point on many different shows and movies lately but stepping back from it there really is such a huge problem with modern kamen rider stories having too MUCH forgiveness. Like that seems a really stupid thing to say about a kid's show but when it's a kid's show dealing head-on with the kind of topics it is, it's like... you need to set a limit, here. You need to set some kind of standard for kids
in 01 Thouser is forgiven for his warmongering and ZAIA continues on as normal. Horobi forgives Aruto and HIDEN continues on as normal. In Beyond Generations Hongou forgives the nazi scientist for destroying his life and the lives of many others while his son forgives him for completely abandoning him. Similarly George in Revice and Neon in Geats forgive their fathers for doing some truly awful shit to them and then just abandoning them, and all this happens at the drop of the hat with swirling emotional music, and it's like-- where does this stop? It's good to educate kids about the merits of forgiveness and accepting faults but it's also important to give them standards of where things go too far, where there are things they should stand up to and people they don't need to waste every second trying to make amends with.
It's not a difficult thing and not something Kamen Rider hasn't done before; Faiz's Kaixa and Ryuki's Ouja were characters that the main protagonists tried to understand and communicate with but got taken advantage of at every turn because of that, and there's no reward for their kindness -- their pain only stops when those characters die. And these are stories about the merits of kindness and communication in a world that makes that difficult!! It's what makes those stories so much stronger and what makes those characters so much more memorable! There's going to be people you can't win over and you're going to have to walk away from and I think what's completely lost me about Kamen Rider lately is how toothless it is in this respect. It wants to educate its audience about complex subjects but then answers it with a 'you should forgive everyone' blanket statement. It's just bad storytelling and it's frustrating to see it do this time and time again

Short thoughts on different Toku shows now that I've watched a few of big ones, which in my mind are Super Sentai, Kamen Rider, and Ultraman? Idk if that's accurate tho. Just opinions based off a small sample size.
Super Sentai i think is my favorite overall, at the moment. It being focused on a team I think makes it more enjoyable too much, but I feel like, at least in the ones I've seen, fights in Sentai are the most lack luster of the three. Not always ofc, but they just get me the least excited. I feel like Zenkaiger was a good first series cause it familiarized be with all the old teams, and then I've been watching week to week since Donbrothers. I've watched two older ones too, Kyoryuger and Timeranger. Definitely enjoyed Timeranger the most, Domon my beloved
Ive had some growing pains with Kamen Rider. I ended up enjoying Geats but I feel like ibwas ambushed by the arc that was basically Among Us and it really threw me off, but I came around pretty quick. Then Zero-One was rough at first too, but I honestly kinda enjoyed how it sort of explored ways AI could be helpful, as well as harmful, towards humanity. Didn't like it at first, but it really was a work of Aruto by the end. The fights are a lot more captivating for me in KR compared to Sentai tho.
Ultraman is still bewildering to me, but not in A bad way. My first real exposure to it was actually the Monster Rancher Ultraman game lmao, and I have watched less of it than I have the others. I think i enjoy the fights the most, cause it just feels like watching the Godzilla movies that originally got me interested in exploring other Toku things. I'm watching Ultraman Tiga right now (like as I type this), and it's fun. Only other show I've watched is Ultraman X, and I remember X being rather talkative? So I was kinda expecting the same from Tiga, but maybe that's later in the show. Or maybe I don't understand what an Ultraman is yet and they don't all talk? Doesn't really matter to me much either way.
Overall, good stuff :)

Goodbye to Yuya Takahashi as Gavv head writer dreams after I lovingly looked through Aruto and Ace screencaps the previous night, hello to Junko Komura who will make me bawl my eyes out in the final stretch even if I don't tune in for the whole show 💖
Word on the wind is that Gavv turned on his race because his mum got turned into a snack (...cannibalism??), which means he's got the Komura familial issues, potentially Stacey adjacent style? Will there be longing and heartache underneath that cheer, maybe a hallucination or two showing a glimpse of the tender, perhaps complicated relationship now lost between son and mother? I'm ready to have my heart broken :D (I swear I do want Gavv boy to be happy - but hurt and comfort can co-exist xD)
The villain line-up looks a little basic (then again it's kinda on brand for Komura) but the lady with the pink highlights and purple contacts is appealing to my soft spot for well-dressed villainesses 👌

So, You Want To Watch Kamen Rider
Below the cut, I will explain;
what is the Kamen Rider? how to determine what season to watch good entry points for the indecisive anniversary seasons that depend on knowing of other seasons streaming it vs. torrenting it seasons that you can just watch on tubi, for free, legally
you know the drill, no direct links to pirated material to preserve my sources, keen eyes might be able to assemble something.
1.) What's Kamen Rider?
Kamen Rider is a long-standing series of Japanese live-action shows, fitting into the Tokusatsu genre, which is largely about heroes, usually two but some seasons have much more than that, fighting against villains and monsters. It airs weekly on Sundays, alongside its sister series Super Sentai. The particulars of each season differ wildly, and many seasons are completely disconnected save for crossover movies and the occasional appearance of a very special magenta clad drifter.
What I personally enjoy about the series is that variety as well as the fight choreography for most seasons, as the directors often decide to make action scenes go nuts for no discernible reason.
2.) What season to watch?
I will present two different methods;
go to this officially run youtube channel and watch a couple episodes of each season there to determine what vibe you like
or
continue to read this article
either way, you will find yourself in the next section naturally at a pace that is comfortable to you.
Since there are three distinct eras, if you'd like, you may simply start with the beginning point for each era;
Kamen Rider (1971) (90 episodes, slow pacing) is about Takeshi Hongou, who is kidnapped by a transhumanist neonazi organization known as SHOCKER and put through genetic and cybernetic augmentation, he is removed from their grasp before they can indoctrinate him, leading him to live in shadow and fight an endless war against them. It is much goofier than the synopsis implies. Kamen Rider Kuuga (2000) (49 episodes, medium pacing) is about Yusuke Godai, a freelancer who has recently returned to his hometown. In a strange coincidence, an ancient race of murderous beings known as the Gurongi have reawakened, leading to the opening of a cave sealing the ancient power source of the one warrior who can stop them; Kuuga. A new legend, a new hero. Kamen Rider Zero-One (2019) (45 episodes, pacing fluctuates somewhat) is about an age where human-like androidsm known as Humagears, who are employed to make life easier for those around them. A nefarious hacking group, MetsubouJinrai.net, has begun converting them into dangerous attack units. This coincidentally happens on Aruto Hiden's first day as the newly, suddenly appointed CEO of Hiden Intelligence, the company responsible not only for manufacturing Humagears but for the primary means of subduing hacked units; Kamen Rider Zero-One
If you're nasty, you split the middle era, the Heisei era, into two phases, some call it Neo Heisei, I call it Pre-Decade and Post-Decade
Kamen Rider W (2011) (49 episodes, pacing starts moderate and slowly ramps up) is about two detectives who share a bond more precious than life itself; Shoutaro Hidari and Philip, who investigate mysteries in the windy city of Fuuto relating to strange monsters called Dopants. With a long runtime and many great episodes, this is an easy recommendation.
3.) Seasons you should wait to watch.
There aren't many seasons you should wait to watch until after you have a few after your belt, but they do happen at the end of both halves of Heisei; Decade should be seen after you have a few pre-decade seasons under your belt, and Zi-O should be saved until you have a few post-decade seasons under your belt in addition to Decade. You can still watch them whenever you please, I'm not your dad, but your enjoyment of them will be heavily enriched by the experience of being able to point at the screen, throw an expression akin to a fish, and scream "I UNDERSTOOD THAT MOMENT!! WAOW!!"
4.) Streaming, Torrenting, which is better?
Now, you may be asking, "Roger, where do I even begin to find these things?" Well, unfortunately, I can't tell you for the safety of my sources. Surely, though, I can tell you which is better. With torrenting, you are guaranteed to find new episodes as soon as a subtitling group has finished with their translation, however, there is a more involved technical process. Additionally, the fact that there are multiple subtitling groups tackling each new season, you may have to expect that a little researching to figure out a preferable balance between your favourite presentation style and your preferred translation.
With streaming, however, you trade decision making for the one thing that's worse; viruses and fake mirror sites. Since these sites often go down, you may need to be ready to either swap over to torrenting at some point or find a new site, though not all drama sites will have Kamen Rider.
As for subtitling groups, I recommend OZC-Live or Earthlysubs for older stuff, Geosubs for newer (IzuSubs also works if you prefer a little oldfriend weeb spice), and TV-Nihon/T-N/Anon for anything you can't find under those.
5.) What if I'm a pussy and want to exclusively watch legally?
Well, my weak willed compatriot, you're in luck! A few seasons, as well as the big shiny new film Shin Kamen Rider, are available legally through a few channels.
The adult-oriented prestige television style reimaginings of earlier Showa-era seasons are on amazon prime. Kamen Rider Amazons, Black Sun, and Shin Kamen Rider, are on there, and they're not too bad! I personally recommend giving Shin Kamen Rider a viewing, it's a real fun time.
On top of that, Shout Factory has done a few seasons, with plenty more on the way. You can buy them on blu-ray or find them on tubi.
Currently, only the following five seasons are available legally;
Kamen Rider (1971) Kamen Rider Geats Kamen Rider Zero-One Kamen Rider Kuuga Kamen Rider Ryuki
As well as a couple miscellaneous films, the Heisei Generations Forever film as well as the big season movie for Zero-One, Real Time.
If you get into the series because of this post, please tell me how you liked it after you finish your first season, it would warm my heart

I'll explain these. Also, spoilers againf for the third time (I'm also learning how to use these buttons. So cool, right :3
MonoTV: fuck MonoTV it should be obvious why I hate it (it can be funny at times though but now I'm salty since Ace is dead and it just.. is the one that's mainly hosting the killing game I know it's a robot but still)
Teruko: she's a really relatable character. anyways she's cool I enjoy her character.
Xander: can't have much of an opinion he wasn't alive for that long so I'm not sure how to feel. that's why it's at mixed.
Eden: she's alright. not a favorite or too likeable but she's still a fine character (I wanted her dead over Ace I was praying on her downfall when I was in denial)
Hu: STOP. JUST STOP. NICO ISN'T INNOCENT FOR EVERYTHING. PLEAKDJS. IT MAKES ME SO MAD.
J: they're cool I enjoy their character a lot. I'm also calling J a they because uh.. not sure if they're trans YOU CANT BLAME ME FOR BEING CONFUSED
Veronika (I don't remember how it's spelt): I liked her character at first before realizing yesterday how psychotic she actually was. I'm salty again because of everyone's reaction- or lack of one- to Ace's execution
David: he can be funny at times but uhhgfhh.. IM SO SALTY OVER ACE'S DEATH but David is just a piece of shit in general. but I don't hate David that much.
Aruto: I don't like him because of the whole thing with his sister. but like. he's a good character. but he's fucking weird because of the whole thing with J's mom. I know people can like celebrities but jesus christ get your hands out of your PANTS! /j
Levi: he's cool. he's likeable and seems just really nice and whatever. but now his boyfriend's dead 😞😞😞😞
Ace: please come back I DONT CARE IF HE WAS AN ASSHOLE I USUALLY FAVORITE THE ASSHOLE CHARACTERS WHEN THEY HAVE REASON FOR BEING A DICK but yeah he's cool I miss him already
Min: I liked Xander's character at the time and cried when he died so I didn't like her. I know my opinions are shit but they're MINE HAHA SUCK IT /j I just didn't really like her in general sorry she's cool just not to me
Charles: uugdgfhh.. I know he's gonna die because of his weaknesses :( but uh.. my favorites are all similar since all I'll say is that I had and still have a hyperfixation on Byakuya Togami before and after watching this show
Whit: I don't know if I simply like him or favorite him. but he's cool he's very cool! funny guy very sily
Arei: I think I cried when I saw her dead. please I'm just a really emotional person. anyways I think I understood her a lot more after seeing her talk to David about her sisters. she's cool. or WAS (sorry)
Nico: just kinda pisses me off.... okay it's just because I'm still salty over Ace's death if this was before the trial they'd probably be neutral (I believe the autism headcannons by the way)
Rose: she's so hot anywaus uhfhfhb I really like her character. she's really silly and I'm kinda thinking she might have ADHD due to how she acts in and out of trials. I also have a really shit memory so I kinda understand her but not since her memory is of course different then my slowly molding one /j
Anyways there's my opinions because I got woken up at three in the morning

“Music gives a soul to the universe, wings to the mind, flight to the imagination, and life to everything.”
Tumblr media
Introduction
A.M.U or as she is otherwise known as “Amane Shinozaki” is an android created by Wicked Requiem’s 2nd Member Kaoru Shinozaki. The newest member of the Shinozaki Family and the “younger sister” to A.D.A/Ageha Shinozaki and A.R.K/Aruto Shinozaki. Despite being created for a specific purpose A.M.U was just recently built and has not reached the same level of sentience as her siblings and finds emotions quite confusing but hopes she’ll discover her “humanity” one day.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
A.M.U is a very young girl of short height and a petite figure. She has long, wavy black hair that fades to a vibrant violet ombre and ends at her waist with long bangs that are styled into a hime cut. She has sharp bright azure blue colored eyes that have a blank and empty look to them. However, her eyes shift to blood red on the rare times she enters “Kill Mode”.
Unlike her creator, A.M.U is quite fashionable, often seen in the gothic Lolita fashion style. She wears a spaghetti strap blue and black gothic Lolita dress that ends at her knees and flares out along with a black leather jacket over it. On her legs, she wears black spider web stockings and a pair of black Mary Jane platforms. For accessories, she wears a black and blue lace choker, black lace fingerless gloves, a black and blue lace bow on the right side of her head, and several piercings in her ears. Sometimes when she is outside, she can be seen wearing a black heart purse with razor blades on it.

Personality
Unlike her siblings, who are quite expressive, A.M.U herself is not with her face usually set into a blank expressionless look. Given her status as an android, A.M.U is near infinitely intelligent as she is constantly processing the whole internet in her mind. She tends to act similar to that of a stereotypical artificial intelligence, often speaking softly and in a detached manner with barely any sense of self. A.M.U is also extremely analytical and calculable thanks to her programming, resulting in precise advice and the ability to remain calm in almost any situation.
However, A.M.U strives to improve herself every day, wanting to see what humanity has to offer. After constantly seeing how her older siblings are, A.M.U seems to have a desire to gain sentience just like her older siblings. They, along with Kaoru, have dedicated themselves to helping and nurturing A.M.U find her “humanity” and to become something more than her original coding because of this A.M.U refuses to let her family members’ hard work go to waste not wanting to fail them.
Recently, however, A.M.U has been showing signs of liking music. It seems to be one of the few things able to get her excited, to say the least. Any mention of it is a quick way to get her attention. She tends to spend hours upon hours listening to various types of songs and has shown to prefer some genres over others. It’s not uncommon to find A.M.U swaying her head to the beat and monotonous singing along with the lyrics. Truly, any mention of music tends to bring out what some may call “excitement” in A.M.U, giving her family hope that she’ll be able to show more feelings on her normally deadpan face.
Much like her siblings, A.M.U has developed what many would call a “Kill Mode”. When like this, A.M.U doesn’t change much personality wise but becomes far more willing to kill anyone who is considered a threat. Her only objective, when like this, is to get rid of any and all threats as quickly as possible. Thankfully, A.M.U has yet to have a reason to go into this mode, much to the relief of her family.
Trivia
As part of her identity as “Amane Shinozaki”, A.M.U claims to be Kaoru’s “cousin” who lives with her.
Her virtual form is the same as the symbol on her spine.
A.M.U has a huge collection of CDs covering all sorts of genres down in the lab to the point where It’s nearly overrun her part of the lab.
A.M.U is not allowed outside without supervision from Kaoru, A.D.A, or A.R.K and is mainly kept to the confines of the lab and the Kuromiya residence however she’s prone to sneaking outside to meet up with her best friend.
No one aside from Kaoru, A.D.A, A.R.K, Yuriko, and Kanra is aware of A.M.U’s existence.
A.M.U is extremely close with Sumire Shinomiya’s A.I., Seir/Seizou Shinomiya with A.M.U even calling him her twin.
A.M.U has a dragonfly bot form, which she uses to discreetly follow people around.
Along with helping Kaoru, A.M.U is in charge of operating [RETRACTED]. One of Kaoru’s more recent projects.

Glad I waited and watched episode 37 and 38 together.
In previous seasons, the Riders either went berserk or died before receiving their Final Forms.
This season, those two burdens fell on Hopper1.
Ichinose on the other hand, followed on Aruto’s footstep. Well, almost. If not for a timely intervention, he would have turned into a Phantom Malgam now.
Even though I had followed tokusatsu for quite a long time now, it still amazed me how this genre always managed to invoke strong emotion over things that would not have been taken seriously in any other shows.
Rinne easily fell into depression and self-blamed but she quick to get up on her feet again. As long as someone gave her the right encouragement.
I loved the fight under the rain without BGM. Just the sound of falling rain. So nice.
Did they waited for rain to fall or they made their own rain?
Ichinose’s scene with Tamagon was nice too. It was so homey and comforting.
I hoped the characters could finish their meal more often. Ichinose only taken a bite of those pancake and omurice.
I wondered if Ichinose’s omurice really tasted good. That was Tamagon’s first meal. They never tasted anything else before, so the strange flavour might tasted just fine for them.
I like Tamagon’s voice.
Nijigon reminded me of Waninoko.
So many Riders with multi-coloured Final Forms and powers, but only this time they outright named the form Rainbow.
‘’Alchemy is like cooking.’’ First time I heard that was from Fullmetal Alchemist.
I would be greatly disappointed if the next season had less Rider Kicks than Gotchard.

and that's not even getting into the fact that you can just rebuild and re-upload the consciousness of the humagears making it so protecting them + their deaths mean nothing at all. aruto starts the show caring about this a lot and then by the second half he does it without thinking. the emotional climax at the ending is completely destroyed by the show accepting this. It's not good
