Maybe Yuya Takahashi will subvert expectations, but I'm wondering which poor, kind soul of the Zeztz main cast is going to snap like a twig on a fine summer day and lose it in the last five episodes again. And if it happens, I'm kinda hoping it'll be one of the girls (either Minami Yorozu or Nemu). It'd be interesting to watch imo

The more I look at Zeztz and his sling bag Driver, the more I think we've got a sleek cyclist on our hands. I'm half-expecting him to roll up in battle, all suited up and ready for combat, and instead of a motorcycle he'll hardly ever use he's on a mountain bike with a pillow he duct-taped onto it in case he needs to nap into the dream world

A Japanese fan asked the Kamen Rider Store, right under the original tweet, to make the nuis available online so - fingers crossed they'll take constructive feedback? 🙏 I can never understand how big corporations are so money hungry but put out pop-up exclusives when making products available online could quadruple their profits 😭

This is suddenly bringing me back to my toku collection pre-big move and all the times I would sit down and go through it in the special purple storage box I had for it after a long day. The photobooks, keychains, plushies, magazines, some special extra items. I really did love that collection in its entirety because it was made up of so many things I loved, and thinking about is making my emotions swell up into tears, as silly as it is to get emotional over merch I willingly let go of heh ㅠㅠ

It def looks like he's trying to shake things up w/ that character spread… I'm a little apprehensive, but curious. Out of his show's I've watched, he's two for two w/ making me fall in love w/ the 'villains' so we'll see if that holds up. 🧐

The main spread is a lot 'plainer' for sure haha Maybe the villains will be the ones with the typical Takahashi aesthetic? I don't think we've seen an announcement for them yet (unless one of these folks is actually evil or something, wouldn't be surprised lol). But as you said, we'll have to wait and see ^^

That's something to consider! Maybe we'll see the typical Takahashi elements in the dream world Zeztz fights in, to draw a sharp contrast between reality and dreams (and how the line blurs between the two) 🤔 Oh, and director Kamihori?? The pilot episode is definitely going to make an astounding impact ☺️

*pat pat* I wouldn't put it past Takahashi to make me come up with coping mechanisms like I did for Zero One (and to a lesser extent, Geats). But the excitement still outweighs that little - characteristic of Takahashi writing for me haha Hopefully we'll get to chat once in a while like in the old days :3

Technically there's no physical resemblance between Shouma and Nylev as the latter created/picked his own human form, but when I scrolled past this picture super fast I thought I was looking at Nylev, not Shouma :O The casting team did a good job here!

(And Shouma's pulling off this look quite well ^-^ Guess we got a taste of what Shouma would've looked like had he been a 'proper' member of the Stomach family :3)

Some inspiration from Ryutaro Imai's (Zeztz's face actor) childhood Kamen Rider series must've come into play too, because his hands are so carefully poised in a W Shotarou way (whom I'm also obsessed with, what a coincidence haha), and I find Shotarou to be unironically suave on many good days. It's also reminding me of all the toku suit actor trivia I've read about? Apparently Zeztz has the power to disguise himself, and that feels not too far off from how suit actors rely on body language to portray their characters + have posing habits/signature techniques that lets the viewer figure out who's behind the mask irl

At this point I could be a tokusatsu prophet because I joked to myself that, should Yuya Takahashi be the head writer for Zeztz (still not confirmed), they should just recast Hideyoshi Kan or emulate his vibe. Then Toei dropped this photo for the new Zeztz boy and he kinda looks like a discount sale Ace Ukiyo (in the nicest way possible because I am a Ace Ukiyo fangirl)
