So the Blu-ray special… has the segment  3nen G gumi where everyone is the student, Kajiki is the Vice Principal and Atropos is the teacher.

Atropos keeps on referencing Detective Conan while Kajiki tries to stop her. (They also name-dropped and censored "domain expansion" a technique that is used in the manga/anime Jujutsu Kaisen)

The most unhinged thing to come out of that special was the Clotho X Houtaro ship. With Clotho being a tsundere.

Lachesis X Spanner is a thing here too.

Soooo assuming the other Riders are aware of everyone’s identity, only Shouma and Hanto are oblivious to each other’s identity.

At this point, they're more amused than frustrated since Shouma and Hanto have only just met. As time wears on without the reveal happening though they'll definitely get more and more frustrated lol

apparently there is a Kamen Rider-themed mobile/gacha game in the works with Yuya Takahashi as the writer.

Some people thought this was an anime adaptation of a Kamen Rider series/an orginal anime kamen rider

This is fucking hilarious when you realize for a number of years Kamen Rider actively cast guys who won the Junon Super Boy Contest (a male beauty contest) as Riders. There was a time when you could use that contest to predict who'd end up either as a protagonist rider or a sentai hero. I can't even tell you how many people were in that contest and ended up in a tokusatsu.

Heck the KR revival started off with the guy who literally is the eponym for "Odagiri effect"!!

Kari, you mentioned they set up the redemption arc for Spanner in a previous ask… care to expand on that?

Well, let's see...

First off, Spanner has been shown to not have been a complete jerk. He never did anything to put innocents in danger and can put aside his personal feelings for Houtaro to work together with him to protect people (until recent events, anyway). He's also never deliberately harmed civilians, nor has he worked with the enemy out of a need to spite someone else.

It also helps that we've seen Spanner become less belligerent towards Houtaro and even Lachesis as the show went on, meaning that he's shown a capacity to change, no matter how slow it was. All they really need to do is craft a story in which Spanner's perspective shifts. We saw it in how Lachesis' attempts to be "more human" have softened his view of her, and even in how Houtaro's growth as an alchemist had finally have him convinced of his strength.

All they need to do is to craft a narrative in which Spanner's cynical perspective is shifted and he can embrace the idealism that's already in him (also something they previously established).

What's more, the Ichinose Kitchen Alliance (Houtaro and co) have an established record of actually helping redeem others. We see this when they didn't give up on Minato after he worked with Geryon in a misguided attempt to protect them. We see this when they accepted Lachesis and helped her find her humanity. We see this with Rinne's multiple attempts to reach out to Atropos.

It makes the gang being able to forgive and helping Spanner redeem himself more believable, because it's just consistent with what they've previously done. There is nothing to suggest that Spanner, of all people, is the one they're gonna give up on.

I'd say more, but even in my thoughts I'm just devolving to clown on Geats for NOT doing this convincingly lol.

I think she'd try to logic her way out of it, like reason that Houtaro's good at sports and such that's why he's in shape. She would firmly ignore the part in her head telling her that it's attractive, subconsciously knowing she'll just get overwhelmed by it.
