I need to get this hierarchy straight (there's nothing straight about this)

It all started with Ivan's "crowning" as King Yaoi the 3rd

Now there's no King Yaoi the 3rd without the 2nd and the 1st. So someone decided that Cheng Xiaoshi would be King Yaoi the 2nd and that dude from ORV (I didn't read it) would be a good fit for King Yaoi the 1st

DVMNINKTOBER Day 2 Ryo

So I've been slowly, slowly been working my through this year's Devilman Inktober by @nozoxshii created for the community https://www.tumblr.com/nozoxshii/763169423585673216/i-made-a-devilman-inktober-prompt-list-for-the?source=share

Second day is Ryo, another important part of the Devilman series, and honestly in my opinion, Devilman just isn't the same without Ryo/Satan's presence! I decided to draw the manga version of Ryo/Satan because he is my favorite version of the character aside from the OVA and Amon OVA version of him, I love how Ryo went from Akira's best friend and his shady guide into the world of demons to his ally in the fight against the demons to his greatest foe, and I also love how it turned out that Ryo/Satan was in love with Akira and that he had wanted to give him the strength to be able to survive in the world of demons. I also love that Satan himself is in my mind a fallen hero turned villain, he stood up for the demons and fought for their freedom when God wanted to destroy them because they displeased him, but then was unable to let go of his hatred towards humanity for what they had done to the earth and plotted their ruin. Even when Ryo/Satan ended up falling in love with Akira, he still couldn't bring himself to see the good in humanity and see that not all of humanity was to blame for what was happening to the earth, and that they were deserving to live as well. He never realised until it was too late and he had lost everything he loved, the earth, the demons and of course, Akira, only then did he finally admit to himself and Akira that he was wrong. Again like Akira's story, Ryo/Satan's story is a very important to see play out and to remember to not become the very thing you swore to fight against.

I had fun making this image and I wanted the first three days of the prompt to match well, I used the background I had made for Akira and flipped it and inverted it to make it look different since Akira's colours are often dark and Ryo/Satan is often bathed in light colours or white, to symbolize their differences.
