Tali for the character ask! 😉

This took a while to get to answer because attempting to do it on mobile platform destroys me so massive apologies.

So my favourite thing about Tali is her sassy as fuck personality. Her introduction in ME1 showed that she took no bullshit, even for someone who was relatively young. She's unapologetically herself and I love that for her!

Least favourite thing? I must admit in my first playthrough I didn't think much of her, it wasn't until the second playthrough that I really paid attention to her.

I kinda loved her and Kaidan geeking out together.

I have seen some incredibly sweet Male Shepard and Tali moments. Although, personally seeing her and Garrus having the beginning of a blossoming romance was pretty lovely.

I don't think there's any kind of pairing I'd oppose for Tali. She seems the kind of girl who would try anything once, although it would make her sick.

My random headcanon for Tali is she's a very kinky person. It's probably considered canon in some aspects, based on the comments she comes out with. But it's definitely always the quiet ones you need to keep an eye on.

I don't get the fascination with what's beneath the suit. It never occurred to him as I thought her suit was pretty and her voice alone is enough.

Well, I'm for sure not any of the nine divine's champions, but I do consider myself a "champion" of Nocturnal. I don't think that is the term she likes to use for nightingales, but if someone has to have my soul in the end, I do hope it's her. I have acquired some of the other daedric artifacts, but they're all currently dust in my storage. I currently own Dawnbreaker, Masque of Clavicus Vile, Sanguine Rose, and the Wabbajack.

I had to think for a while about this one! I have so many, especially small little moments that I like to recall when I need comfort. But if had to choose one, it would be the night we had an all-out party at the Ragged Flagon. This happened about a week after I was named Guildmaster, and the guild successfully pulled off a heist with a HUGE payload. There was music, singing, dancing, and so much laughter. The ale and mead were flowing, and I ate so much of Vekel's special apple pie. Honestly, I'm surprised I didn't get sick that night with all the dancing and drinking I did. It was a night were I truly felt happy. There were also other reasons why that night was so special to me, but that is a close-guarded memory. ;D

My mother and I had to move from Summerset Isles to Skyrim because of her... job. She works at a certain embassy near Solitude.

I like to read and mess around with alchemy! I'm not very good at making potions yet, but I love discovering all the different properties of ingredients I find around Skyrim. There is also nothing I love more than popping some strange ingredient in my mouth and watching my friend's reactions. Kaidan and Lucien are the funniest to watch. They always make the best facial expressions!

You're making me blush! Also, never apologize for having beef with Vilkas. I still have beef with that man. And if Ravonna has beef with him? Well, now it's even beefier.

no fr i mean it Gale's romance is like... specifically catered to me coz:

i knew nothing of DND, let alone of BG3, Gale assuming the role of someone who told me things and explained what's what and gave a word of advice every now and again shaped a lot of my initial exploration of the game. yes i didn't mind his "lectures": i've enjoyed them and appreciated them

i love magic. this guy is a walking magic generator. being showed (on a rogue character) what it's like to cast in a DND universe has influence my choice of building Darling into more magic-infused build. the headcanon is that Gale taught him all of it. i fucking loved the experience.

in life, i love two things the most: space and books. Gale seduces you with a book, soul-fucking you amongst the stars. i was sold. i didn't know where to put myself and couldn't play the game for a couple of days coz his act 2 romance scene was on repeat in my mind.

the angst aspects of Gale's character are quite... something. i played DA. DA2 specifically. Anders and Gale are similar in my head, somewhat, especially with the way how i view Anders and after romancing Anders several times i just... couldn't do it. i began to think, at some point, that i absolutely cannot save him, nor stop him from his plan. and even on friendship runs with Anders, ngl there was a couple of times where i chose to kill him coz i couldn't see any hope for him and well. roleplay. Anders appeared broken beyond repair to my Hawke, betrayal too great. Now, enter Gale. whom we are set to save from exploding, and we succeed. and low-key this changed my view of Anders, too. maybe i was too dumb. maybe i have misjudged and there is a way to save the guy. maybe my Hawkes didn't love him hard enough lol idk... but regardless. the whole redemption arc of Gale's, his baby steps of healing from trauma and depression brought me so much joy, also as a fellow trauma and depression "enjoyer", as much as Darling gave Gale hope, he's given me some too.

and look. i am a loud BioWare enjoyer. i have played and replayed a lot of ME and DA and while each game has their lovely LIs, ngl i have only been truly mesmerised by Dorian's. maybe a little bit of Kaidan's but it's a bit weird coz it was OOC of my Shepard to romance him and i just did it for myself. but. Gale, as recent of a discovery he is for me, beaten everyone and everything and i am mildly annoyed but not at all surprised. books and space, fam. books and space.

Emilia's smile was just enough for Ashley to relax... a little. The laugh helped, too; she was sure that her old friend wasn't doing too well, what with everything that was going on. Ashley was still a little worried about what had happened between them on the Citadel. Ever since Horizon, things had been... tense. Ashley knew that was partly her fault; she hadn't trusted her old Commander when she should have. She should have put a lot more trust in Emi than she had, and it was... difficult to get past that.

"Saying you missed my sass and crass, Skipper?" Ashley teased further, her own smile growing wider. "Because I can assure you I've got plenty more where that came from." Even before, Ashley had never really held her tongue... though now, she was much less inclined to do so. She felt like she'd seen just about everything, after seeing the Geth--along with their Reaper husks--as well as the Collectors.

At least now, she had the chance to do something about it. Nothing had been more frustrating than being told by the Alliance that she wasn't allowed to investigate the Collectors, even if she knew what was going on. She hated being sidelined. She hated the way they held her back on a leash, like she were some kind of liability. Well, she'd certainly shown them, now; she was more than just a capable soldier.

An unpopular opinion maybe, but in ME3 after the tragedy that is Priority: Tuchanka, I wish you could choose someone else to lament over when Liara asks if you're okay.

I always leave Kaidan on Virmire. Personally, I think he's great--kind, competent, etc--but he bores me. I find Ashley more fun and sassy, so I always save her. So when Shep wakes up from their most recent nightmare, where Mordin has now joined the dead-whispering after sacrificing himself, I'd much rather be able to say that "I miss Mordin," not Kaidan.

I DON'T miss Kaidan. I'm sorry. Like I said, hqe's great, and I don't dislike him, but I miss Mordin WAY more than Kaidan. But noOo. I get to either be vulnerable with Liara, my friend, and tell her a lie, or be kind of a jerk and basically say there's nothing wrong. I'd rather just be able to say something generic, like "I'm tired of losing people to these Reaper assholes," bc I just really hate the missing Kaidan line, bc I don't. :/

My Skyrim characters are great.

We got,

Kiki Gallou. Trying to survive the constant onslaught of random eldritch creatures sent by a god of knowledge while she runs a college with her husband who was stuck in a book for thousands of years.

Ray. A Dremora constantly trying to survive in Skyrim because shes considered daedra in peoples eyes however her sassy blonde apprentice is very sweet and wants her to teach him how to beat the sh#t out of enemies.

and then there's Martin. Martin is a bard documenting things in Skyrim with his giant bodyguard Kaidan. Imagine it like Jasker and Geralt and thats practically Kaidan and Martin.

Ooo, amazing ask! Citadel is one of my favourite IF’s and @bouncyballcitadel and I are great friends (if she doesn’t agree… then everyone make sure she completely ignores this last bit, aha)

I’ll add headcanons too, @bouncyballcitadel can decide whether these would happen or not.

Athalia/Asher: A and Jean. A has a hard exterior and they’re sarcastic, known to push people away. Even though Jean isn’t the most outgoing person, I think they’d stick at it to try and tear down a few of A’s walls which A would grow to accept. I headcanon that Jean would bring A coffee during a long hospital day, and literally remember A’s favourite coffee order, that would be the moment where A would think, “fine, they’re not that bad.”

Blaire/Blaze: B and Eli! I think B would love having a best friend that understands them completely, someone who knows the best and worst parts about you, especially with Eli being their roommate. I imagine B and Eli having a terrible day at the hospital, most likely due to a patient passing away and they’d find comfort in each other — it’d be enough to make them forget about a bad moment and still know that there’s some good in the world.

Kiana/Kaidan: K and Davy! Both confident and ambitious, I think they’d have a fun relationship where they’d potentially bring out a softer side in each other. Davy’s all self-assured and sassy, and I imagine that whenever they share a sweet moment with K that they immediately want to shut it down with a smug comment, until they realise that they’re actually a fan of those soft moments, actually enjoy them — and for K, it would be worth admitting that they like Davy.

Phoebe/Phoenix: P and Ivy! I think this would end up being a grumpy x sunshine trope. Ivy’s sure of herself, sure of the world, doesn’t tend to second guess and extremely intelligent. I think at first their friendship/relationship would be all about P being the annoyingly good-looking, intelligent person who isn’t one to back down on a challenge. For the sake of that, I see them falling in love with Ivy without even realising it. There would just end up being a time where Ivy would give P more than one compliment in a day, give the hint of a smile and then P would realise that maybe something could work… to which Ivy would dismiss in their thoughts but they’d probably fantasise about P.

Caleb chuckled as he finished his tea. “Aye, good to go whenever you are,” he agreed. He settled his bill with Sam and followed Ashley out to her car. “You said something about the brewery in your message last night?”

Her cheeks darkened a little but she nodded. “Sorry about that. It was the only way I could think of to reach you on short notice.”

“Nothing to apologize for,” he replied, smiling at the memory of the gentle teasing at the hands of Stephen and Karin.

“I figure most of the stuff we can get either at the grocery store here or the liquor store nearby, but Arcturus Ale is a local favorite, so I thought we might head up to the brewery to get it fresh from the keg, so to speak.”

“That works for me, darlin’,” he replied with a grin as he slid into the passenger seat. She flashed him a quick, startled look as she took the driver’s side. “Tá brón orm,” he murmured quickly. “D’you not like that?”

She blinked a time or two before responding. “I didn’t say that, I just… wasn’t expecting it.” Her smile returned as she started the vehicle. “Then again, you are Irish. I suppose it’s a character flaw or something.”

Character flaw…! He laughed as he fastened his seatbelt and turned to face her. “I see someone woke up bright and sassy this mornin’. I’d best be on my toes today!”

Pulling out into the non-existent traffic, she headed out of town to the north. “Are all Irishmen as charming as you?”

One brow arched playfully. “I suppose that all depends. Is this another of your character flaws?”

“Maaaaaaybe? Or, I could just be trying to get to know Norman’s most recent guest.” She shrugged. “You never know.”
