Tone tags are little indicators people put at the end of a sentence or message to clarify the intent or feelings of that message ^-^ you’ve probably seen them before. They’re really helpful especially online because it can be difficult to tell the tone of something online through text, especially if you don’t know the person and their usual speaking habits.

Just as a note: please don’t use these ironically. It defeats the purpose of tone tags and can be very confusing for some people! Just leave the tone tag out if you’re being sarcastic about it.

♡ General Tone ♡

• /j - Joking - this message isn’t serious, it’s a joke.

• /hj - Half Joking - they are joking about something but they are also likely to do it or believe what they are saying. It’s a joke and it’s not serious, but there is a little bit of truth in it. (Usually this is in the form of exaggeration i.e. “I hate twitter/hj” means they don’t really hate twitter, they do dislike some aspects of it though)

• /s or /sarc - Sarcastic - they’re saying something that is opposite of what they actually mean or feel. (Sarcasm online is also represented a lot by using long words and random capitalization i.e. “I nEvEr Would HaVe KnoOoooooOOOWnnN” they mean this sarcastically - they knew).

• /srs - Serious - they really mean what they are saying, or what they’re saying is very important to them.

• /nsrs - Not Serious - they do not mean what they are saying or what they’re saying isn’t a big deal.

• /lh - Lighthearted - they don’t mean this too seriously, it’s for fun or generally well intentioned.

• /g or /gen - Genuine - what they are saying or offering is for real, they mean what they are saying sincerely, or they are actually asking for responses for a question - it’s not rhetorical.

• /nf - Not Forced - they’re asking for something but they’re not trying to pressure you or force you into doing it.

• /m -Metaphorically - what they’re saying isn’t literal or didn’t literally happen, they’re using this as a metaphor for a different situation.

• /li - Literally - the thing they are talking about actually for real happened or they believe it fully.

• /rt or /rh - Rhetorical Question - a question they don’t necessarily want responses to, it’s a statement posed as a question to make you think about the topic as opposed to actually asking for an answer.

• /hyp - Hyperbole - what they’re saying is extremely exaggerated for comedic effect or to stress something.

• /ex - Exaggeration - what they’re saying is somewhat exaggerated for comedic effect or to stress something.

• /pos - Positive - they mean this in a good way.

• /neg - Negative - they mean this in a bad way.

• /neu - Neutral - they don’t really have strong feelings on this or don’t really have an opinion on it.

♡ Feelings of the Author ♡

• /nm - Not Mad - they’re not mad about what they’re talking about

• /lu - A Little Upset - they’re a bit disappointed or sad or angry about what they’re talking about, but not too much.

• /p - Platonic - they mean this in a friendly way, they view you as a friend.

• /r - Romantic - they mean this in a romantic way, they view you as a love interest, crush, or partner.

♡ Intent of Message ♡

• /t - Teasing - they’re kidding around and teasing you, it’s not too serious.

• /th - Threat - this is an actual threat that they intent on following through with (I mostly see this one used ironically which irks me bc it defeats the entire purpose of using a tone tag so just be aware of that).

• /sx or /x - Sexual Intent - they mean this in a flirtatious and sexual way.

• /nsx or /ns - Non-Sexual Intent - they do not mean this in a sexual way, it’s more so platonic, joking, or lighthearted.

• /nbr - Not Being Rude - they’re not trying to be rude by saying this (note that this does not automatically mean what they’re saying is not rude, you can still be rude even if it’s not your intention to be).

♡ Who is Being Talked To or About ♡

• /nbh - Nobody Here - they’re not talking about anyone here (usually used in group chats or small communities).

• /nsb - Not Subtweeting - they’re not saying this as a vague response to anything or anyone, they’re just genuinely talking about it.

• /nay - Not At You - they’re not aiming what they’re talking about at you specifically.

• /ay - At You - they are specifically targeting what they’re saying for you.

♡ Where is This From / Miscellaneous ♡

• /ij - Inside Joke - it’s a joke but might only be understood by a small group of people. Don’t stress if you don’t get it or don’t understand what they’re talking about. Inside jokes are usually hard to explain to others.

• /ref - Reference - this is a reference to something else, usually a meme or piece of media.

• /ot - Off Topic - this is unrelated to what was being talked about before.

• /cb - Clickbait - usually this means the message is exaggerated or falsely advertised to get your attention. Often used in a lighthearted / joking manner.

Sirius hated his home life but he was forced to live back there again though it was for a short while, Severus also lived back in his childhood home, though he spent most of his time Hogwarts for his career.

Sirius and Severus had a huge part in the deaths of the Potters, and therefore felt responsible/guilty. "I as good as killed them." (Can't remember the quote) and Severus's...well you know.

Other DEs suspecting Severus to be a traitor and other Order allies actually convicting Sirius as the traitor?? Also the literal ex death eater believes Sirius was a DE and the wrongfully convicted one doesn't even know Severus had a dark mark?? Like??

Snupin is sad angst but snirius is like...angry angst. Snupin is recovering from their teenage bs and the war but snirius is making it worse. Like... reverting? Relapsing??

Because Sirius says shit like he wasn't proud of his teenage treatment towards Severus, and drops quotes like oh the world isn't black and white harry or whatever and then turns around and says Severus deserved the Prank happening (although I think this happened first) and speaks to Severus like he's the worst scum on earth, even before he finds out Severus was a DE. Like despite how impulsive he is, Sirius does understand, he has logic and everything but literally all of that goes out the window the moment he talks to Severus?? Like, heed your own words bro, why can't you??

Severus gets to be an asshole to Sirius for obv reasons, PTSD and all. I forgive him.

Anyways, they literally get under each other's skin like no other. The only marauders era characters to be written this way. Like it's been more than a decade since their childhood "feud" (/sarc) and they still revert back to their teenage self whenever they fight. It's so fascinating because we know Severus is the rationally composed one. Even Sirius has his moments.

And yet, even though every one of their canon interactions were bitter and heated, Severus handles the unconscious body of Sirius carefully, he doesn't knock his head around on purpose (unlike Sirius with Severus's body) and Severus genuinely did not want Sirius to die. Before they even properly had a conversation, Severus seems to have uh moved on? He was ready to forget the whole "getting back" at Sirius thing, he's over it but all that past resentment, anger and bitterness comes back immediately the moment he talks to Sirius. Which, I don't blame him for. Human response honestly.

At his core, he understands that no matter how horrible Sirius was to him, this is Lily's friend, this is someone Harry cares about. So kind of like Harry to Draco, this guy is a piece of shit but he doesn't deserve death

And this is somewhat similar to Sirius's oh Snape? Hated that Slytherin guy, sucking up to all those horrible slytherins, I wouldn't mind if he died back then lol... what do you mean he was a death eater? Are you sure?

Hence, they are enemies and lovers. I don't think they'll ever move past the enemy phase. So they are both. Their conversations are 100% full of witty quick comebacks and sarcasm. They've lived through experiences literally no one else shares. Like who else would know what it's like to unintentionally play a key part in orchestrating the Potter's death??

Even besides that, how they're written too. Severus is poor, working class, bullied, ugly, greasy hair, goes from the lowest of the barrel and works his way up, rational, and introverted, inherits almost nothing valuable from his pureblood mother. Sirius is rich, highest of the highest elite, peaked in highschool, handsome, gorgeous hair, falls from disgrace—a young man with a huge inheritance to an escaped convict, irrational and extroverted, inherits like?? Everything?? From his family???

Also, there's Severus who hates his name from his father because abusive guy and Sirius who hated what his family represented. Hmm, they're not exactly the same but the vibes....

Monn was born into the religious Rach family in Leipzig on 13th of March 1784, and is the youngest one among his siblings, Meier and Martin.

Since his father was an officer in the Prussian army and wasn’t usually home, Monn’s mother cared for him and his brothers alone, and she usually brought them to church. (you guys will not like his father, trust me)

When Monn is 2 years old, his mother started noticing weird behaviours from him, like not being able to speak properly. At first she thought it was nothing and figured he’ll grow out of it, but those behaviours followed him to his 5th birthday, and since the family’s religious she reaallyy started to believe that he’s cursed in a way and started ignoring him, only feeding him but basically just gave him no attention in fear that he’ll attract a demon or smth (this will NOT cause problems later on /sarc). Luckily his brothers think that’s bullshit so they started to care for him instead and taught him life skills, though mother would always warn them to not interact with him. Monn during this time also started to have small cannibalistic thoughts, which will NOT spiral guys!! /j

So Monn was no longer given attention by his mom and pretty much started to distrust her, only daring to approach his brothers for help. During this time he found an interest in cats, black cats to be specific, and he started to dream of being a veterinarian when he grows up.

One day during mass at age 6, he met Father Silvio, a new chaplain in St. Thomas, and he immediately trusted him with every atom of his being due to him looking like a white cat and followed him around, even though Silvio kind of didn't like him and would push him away every time they’ll interact. (he will come back later in clutch so keep him in mind)

When he was 10, Monn met a scholar (who I didn’t name but feel free to suggest) who was willing to teach him sign language and help him read and write properly after school. Most of Monn’s happy childhood memories came from his time with the scholar and he feels like he owed him a lot for it. Sadly the scholar had to leave Leipzig 2 years later and he never crossed paths with him ever again. Before he left, he did gift Monn a grey wool scarf as a sign of appreciation.

His life after that wasn’t super interesting, his routine was just wake up, breakfast, go to school, come back, dinner, sleep. Maybe add going to mass on Sundays but thats really about it.

And I’ll end it here for this part because im gonna TWEAK after using my brain to write this for 2 nights (which is apparently when my brain usually goes “write now”) (yes i did get sleep because i got tired) im so sorry guys for not writing the entire thing guh…

Okay so. Miu is a character that COULD be really great. If they changed nearly everything about her

She's insecure and lonely, and that results in her acting loud and sexual 24/7. That's an interesting character! You can do a lot with that! But they do not. They just have her sexually harrass Kaede, Shuichi, and Kiibo (and others.) Oh and call Gonta slurs.

From the very second we meet her, she's being an asshole to Kaede and constantly talking about her boob size and making fun of her. Yk how Shinigami gets when Kurumi pops up on screen? Miu is like that but whenever anyone is on screen. Kaede (thankfully) argues back and doesn't just take it, but. That sadly does not last forever. And then suddenly in DRS they're besties!!! While Miu is still making snide comments on her body!!! And Kaede there is just "oh miu!! So silly!!!"

Her FTEs are just. Her sexually harassing Shuichi. He's easy to pick on because he's insecure and shy, and Miu just fuckin runs with it. However Shuichi is only allowed to hate Kokichi so he just goes "Oh miu!! So silly!!!" Even when Miu triggers Ryoma. Like. She deadass triggers him and Ryoma is clearly upset and Ryoma and Shuichi go off to help Ryoma feel better but they don't. Do anything about it. Nobody yells at her or ANYTHING. Kokichi breathes and he's screamed at yet Miu can do whatever she wants apparently

Then. The way she treats Kiibo. Ourgh. At rhe beginning they hate each other. Miu sees Kiibo as useless, as a hunk of junk. Kiibo sees Miu as a vulgar, rude, shitty person. Then, suddenly, in chapter 3, they're suddenly besties and we get rhe maintenance scene (which. Kiibo didn't consent to that at all and people treat it as such a romantic scene aren't they cute together as Kiibo tells her to stop???/sarc). Like I'm not even kidding. During the trial they're hating on each other and then the NEXT DAY Shuichi walks in on the maintenance scene. It comes out of nowhere. Yes I know characters can develop without the protag seeing it but it honestly just feels like they realized none of the characters like Miu, even if they let her harass others. So Kiibo, the guy who's bullied by everybody and clearly has some confidence issues, gets shoved to be a romantic interest for Miu, the girl who forces herself on everybody and insults anyone about anything. It doesn't even matter because Kiibo makes one comment about feeling sad after Miu dies and that's it. One. ONE. If Kiibo's dad was in DRS he would've started a killing game over how everybody treats his kid, especially Miu

The only time she's not making me scream is when she's bantering with Kokichi and Gonta, but even then there's limits. Like. Wow she called the guy who's already insecure about his intelligence despite being a SCIENTIST slurs about how he isn't smart. Thank God Kokichi doesn't take shit and gets insults thrown at her to shut her up.

DRS isn't cannon but the way she acts is just... worse?? But thankfully Ishimaru my beloved is there. She flashes the WOH (you know. The children who have extreme trauma. The group of children with Kotoko in it.) And Ishimaru goes off on her and she cries, and IM SO GLAD NOBODY GETS ON ISHIMARU'S CASE. THANK YOU. HES RIGHT. Ishimaru with the hot take that you shouldn't flash children regardless of whether they seem upset about it or not. In DRS she's not insecure at all, she's literally just a predator. People were worried Haiji would get in the game but they forgot Miu is a creep too

And what gets me is that I COULD like Miu. I COULD like her most popular ships (which are. With the people she sexually harrases and abuses the most.). I just can't because the fandom has decided to ignore any bad traits about her in order to make a wholesome cute ship out of these characters. I saw someone deadass say that disliking Miu is misogyny AND ableism, because Miu is autistic and disliking her means you hate all autistic people. They say her special interest is sex. No it's NOT you do not know what a special interest is!!!!!!!! I'm not even autistic and I know the way she acts is not due to sex being a special interest she's just a fucking creep who wants to prove to herself that everyone finds her hot and desireable!!!!

If Miu had gotten any sort of pushback or growth or anything I would've liked her way more. But she stays the same the entire game. All she does is aggressively insult/pursue characters, give an invention or two, and die. She's just... so infuriating. When Shinigami gets annoying about Yuma and other women, it gets on my nerves, but I still like her because she has more to her character than that. Miu has. Literally nothing. Her insecurity is just used as an excuse for what she does- she only acts insecure when it benefits her, like when someone yells at her for FLASHING CHILDREN I CANT FUCKING GET OVER THAT. "Kids love this kind of stuff" YOU ARE REFERRING TO THE CHILDREN WITH SOME OF THE CRUELEST BACKSTORIES EVER. ARENT YOU SUPPOSED TO BE. SMART. LITERALLY EVERYONE ELSE CAN TELL THAT THEYVE BEEN THROUGH SOMETHING EVEN IF THEY DONT KNOW THE NITTY GRITTY DETAILS. I just. How do you make a character that is JUST Sexual Pervert Creep and then somehow have her become popular. Hifumi has more character than her. Teruteru has more character than her. And they never cross the line as often or as far as she does. I just don't understand how the fandom can see her as an uwu quirky autism girl!!!! She's legitimately a bad person and is infinitely more interesting when you acknowledge that and do something with that. Heck. One of my favorite characters of all time is also a scientist with a weird, creepy relationship with a robot/doll. The difference is that the game AND the fandom acknowledge that he is a Bad Person, and let's him be complex and interesting without trying to water him or the relationship down. Can we PLEASE let women be bad people. Like can we do that. I'm tired of the Uwu Innocent Queen thing. I'm tired of the Girl boss thing. Let women be fuckin awful and treated accordingly!!!!!!!!!!

I still can't get over how they made Kiibo a doormat for her, too. I'm sorry. Kiibo would NOT tolerate her behavior he would yell at her and leave. My guy has been bullied and harassed enough to know when someone means it or is just ignorant/is joking. Miu was not joking when she insulted Kiibo she just wanted him to listen to her and praise her. Punching the floor.

Errrm well tbh I kinda already said most of the stuff abt my interps the last time I was asked but I guess there r a few more things I could talk abt :3 

Mk sooo more abt B’s whole being way older than he should be thing n more abt what his life was like b4 he got lost in the backrooms. So pretty much he was born in the year 1950 in America around the Texas-Louisiana border[silly goofy projection we will not see more of that later definitely not]. He was pretty poor for most of his life, especially in childhood, but they made it work. He might have had siblings idk, neither does he [boom vague Reagan reference where is my gold sticker/SILLY] He was very close with his mother bc his father wasn’t around a lot, mostly out working bc the whole living in poverty thingg. He actually learned 2 speak japanese b4 he learned english bc that was his mom’s native language so that’s pretty silly :3. Well everything was well and fine for about the next 20 years but then uh oh! B’s mom becomes terribly ill one day and ends up dying a few months later! [how sad] This event is pretty much the catalyst 4 every bad thing that happens in B’s life 4 the next like 50 years. Cuz a bit b4 this he’d found out how to no clip and did it a few times but he was just so distraught in the moment that he just kinda went 2 the backrooms and just walked around 4 so long until he passed out n when he woke up he couldn’t no clip back soo yeah that’s basically his epic backstory yay. So anyways bro wakes up in the hospital blind, scared, confused and alone. Is told what happened. Is so mortified that she has a meltdown right then n there [things r not off 2 the best start]. Not just over the life long facial disfigurement but also over the fact that they failed. They failed to be the perfect scientific prodigy they were supposed 2 be. N in the process, didn’t just fall themself but failed everyone who ever believed in them[At least that’s what they thought at the time]. Like bro didn’t even get fired he CHOSE 2 resign bc he was so ashamed of himself n what he’d done. a lot of this built up trauma n self resentment is y she’s so attached B n Hashely bc they were rlly like 1st ppl in her life 2 show her any kind of unconditional support or affection. Bc after the accident when she was at her absolute lowest point her parents like just softcore cut her off. Like. she tried multiple times after the fact 2 try n contact them but nothing ever came back so they just stopped trying after a while :( Also kinda related is that I think their hair is like naturally curly but they straighten it bc it being curly reminds them of the past n they HATE being reminded of the past.

1. What inspired you to make this silly organization for this au?

A lot of things inspired me. Especially a few episodes from the show itself. (You have to guess them. season 1 to season 3 >:] )

2. Why do members/assistants have to wear purple ties?

The colors purple represents spirituality, royalty, power and creativity. However the reason why they have to wear only PURPLE tie is because it's supposed to represent the leader or it's part of the rules.

3. Is there a chance that there's an adult member in the organization that supervise the members/assistance?

Sadly no. Only the leader himself can supervise the young members. He is aware that some children are hyperactive and more active than any adults who do their work. So he prefers making the children be part of the organization.

4. How many members does the "cult/organization" have?

It depends on how many children the leader can spot and take them with him. Every new member who joins the organization by force has to wear a number tag on their uniform (with the purple tie) to make sure the member has their number.

For example: if Harold is number 4 means the new member will be number 5.

But formally the leader will only have four members/assistants unless he needs more and replaces the dead one with a new one.

5. What happens if we join the silly organization? Seems very silly.

Well, congratulations. You are one of them so be ready to be brutally murdered and tortured. /JK /sarc (sarcasm)

6. Are we allowed to ask or interact with the members?

Sure! You may as long you don't cross their boundaries. Remember the members are MINORS. We do NOT condone sexual or inappropriate questions.
