Earlier today, several of Sarah Rice's close personal friends announced her death on social media. Sarah, the original Joanna in Sweeney Todd, was also a regular performer at the monthly Sondheim Unplugged cabaret series up until a little over a year ago. The pilot for Harsh Realm premiered on October 8, 1999. Fox, happy with the success of the X-Files, granted the green light for the Chris Carter created show, but then pulled the plug after only 9 episodes. The show centered around a virtual reality world called Harsh Realm. Creators of the comic Harsh Realm (James D Hudnall and Andrew Paquette) sued Fox for not receiving any credit. SNL Season 49 15/20 episodes

And the backhalf of the Ramy episode let me down. 5/10 night... and it is probably one of the better episodes of this season. At least I will remember that Marcello immigrant dad sketch/monologue.

Bowen, Heidi, Ego, and Sarah are just being crushed by the SNL machine and people like Longfellow, Kenan, and Molly are getting scraps.

With 75% percent of the season done, my current Top5 of Season 49 of SNL:

Nate Bargatze

Timothee Chalamet

Adam Driver (and that is based 100% on his performance)

Sydney Sweeney (which was okay)

And I guess...Bad Bunny (which isn't a great episode, but there is no other SNL like it)

Anyone of these episodes (expect Nate's) can easily lose their spot with basic fun episode. I'm just tired of just okay to mediocre SNL. Show needs a reboot of some sort.
