I know that this is a band-aid over an open wound, but in case it might cheer up someone out there, remember that "Sandman" isn't all Neil Gaiman.
Now of course, yes he did create the Sandman comic, yes he was the writer and leader of the main series and various little complementary stories, and yes everything with the "Sandman" title on it probably has him gain some money in his pockets (I don't know exactly the legal ramifications of the Sandman franchise).
But you can remember that "Sandman" became a franchise part of the DC Universe and a property of the DC Comic. As a result, there is a LOT, a LOT of spin-off series where Gaiman was not involved or barely. Series he did not write, he did not chose the artists for, and where his involvement usually goes either "I was proposed X author to do a spin-off series and gave my blessing", or "I gave advices to the creators of the series from time to time but they kept ignoring me so I left" or even "I just checked the basic premise and then walked out to let them do their thing", with even some where it was "I never had anything to do with it".
In fact, it was why these spin-offs series had such a hard time getting popular and couldn't fly of their own wings easily ; why so many people did not bother looking at them (If the original creator isn't there, it's no good, it's just "glorified fanfiction") and why a lot of people dislike them ("Only Gaiman does it right"). Mind you, on the later point I have to admit the quality of those spin-offs is very varying, especally since they expand in a lot of different ways and retcon a lot of different things, resulting in conflicting timelines.
But if you are curious about checking them out one day, here are the Gaiman-free parts of the Sandman franchise:
1/ The Dreaming (1996-2001)
An anthology about minor inhabitants of the Dreaming and the adventures of various dreamers, created by various guest-artists. Neil Gaiman was merely a creative consultant on this series, but he was apparently dissatisfied or un-seduced enough by the worldbuilding elements introduced in "The Dreaming" to complete counter-it with the release of "Endless Nights", making Dreaming "not-canon" (and the series also did poorly because of how it was constantly compared to Gaiman's Sandman in unflattering terms).
Tumblr media
2/ Sandman Presents
Originally, "The Dreaming" (90s run) was an anthology series but then shifted into a continuous storyline. However, to keep the idea of bringing guest creators and one-time artists each adding their fragment to the Sandman universe, the line of "Sandman Presents" was created, a set of mini-series and one shots. "Thessaly: Witch for Hire" ; "Bast: Eternity Game"; "Love Street", "Merv Pumpkinhead, Agent of DREAM", "Petrefax", "The Furies", "The Corinthian: Death in Venice" and far more yet...
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Several of these mini-series proved popular enough that they spawned their own series. Such as...
3/ Lucifer
Created by Mike Carey in 2000, this series was a follow-up of the very successful "Sandman Presents: Lucifer - The Morningstar Option". It is currently one of the most famous Sandman spin-offs thanks to the TV series adaptation "Lucifer", despite... the TV show being VERY very different from the comics.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
4/ Dead Boy Detectives
The other most famous spin-off of the Sandman, thanks to the recent series adaptation, and just like "Lucifer" it was originally a "Sandman Presents" line (also called "The Dead Boys Detective"). However beware, if you want to have the full continuity between "Sandman" and "Sandman Presents: The Dead Boys Detetive" you'll have to go through a Gaiman-written story, in "The Children's Crusade".
Tumblr media Tumblr media
5/ WitchCraft
A mini-series exploring the characters of the Three Witches. Had a sequel, "WitchCraft: La Terreur".
Tumblr media Tumblr media
6/ Destiny: A Chronicle of Deaths Foretold
A mini-series about Destiny by Alisa Kwitney.
Tumblr media
7/ God Save the Queen
A 2007 series also made by Mike Carey and about a big crossover of Sandman, The Dreaming (90s edition) and The Books of Magic.
Tumblr media
8/ The Sandman Universe
The biggest and most recent spin-off project of the Sandman comics. Created to celebrate the 30th anniversary of Sandman in 2018, it started with a series of comics overseen by Neil Gaiman though written by different artists (Gaiman wrote nothing in these series). It started with the introductive one-shot "The Sandman Universe", opening four different reboot/continuity series: The Dreaming reboot (by Simon Spurrier), House of Whispers (by Nalo Hopkinson and Dan Watters), a Lucifer reboot (by Dan Watters) and a Books of Magic reboot (by Kat Howard and David Barnette). [I have not talked about the Books of Magic franchise despite it being closely linked to the Sandman one, but that's because this post is already getting way too big].
Tumblr media
After these four initial series, tons of other mini-series and reboots were launched, again written by many different people outside of Gaiman, several of them still going on to this day. The Dreaming reboot got a sequel (The Dreaming: Waking Hours), Hellblazer series, a Locke and Key crossover, and the "Nightmare Country" series by James Tynion IV (which got a sequel, "Nightmare Country: The Glass House").
Tumblr media
All of that to say... Sandman hopefully isn't just Neil Gaiman. Its branches spawn into many different universes of the DC world, and there were many other authors who poured their ideas and concepts into the Sandman world.
(And I have not even covered ALL of the Gaiman-free spin-offs. The Sandman franchise is REALLY big)

To everyone who wanted to know my thoughts on Charles' behaviour at the end of 'The Case of the Very Long Stairway' aka the famous post-confession rooftop scene: ⬇️
We've seen him flirt and be all sassy towards others in vulnerable moments to lighten up the mood, but that's not what he's doing in that scene. He's actually taken aback by what happened in Hell and you can see how things are finally catching up to him when he talks to Edwin
He was only focused on getting him out of Hell so now that they're back on Earth without any demons trying to kill them, he's starting to process everything that happened and things might be getting too real for him and that's why he changes the conversation so fast
We haven't even seen him act like that before, even less with Edwin, and it's clear that it has to do with the confession. I think he's starting to realize that what he feels is more than friendship and he's scared of that
He might deny it and tell Edwin that everything is fine, but we all know that's far from the truth. Yes, they're still close friends and associates, but Edwin's feelings are now in the open and it's gonna change things between them whether they like it or not
As you can see in this gif, he's already starting to blush and be all shy around Edwin, I don't know when he'll realize he's in love with him too, but it's obviously gonna create some tension between them until he does
Tumblr media
Edwin is his closest friend in the entire world and there's no way he would want to led him on or ruin their friendship so he's probably gonna start distancing himself from him, being less touchy than usual, not wanting to be the two alone in the office... And Edwin is gonna snap
I know it won't be pretty because hiding things from him is a big no especially now that he's willing to help others with their personal issues, so Charles refusing to tell him something important when he knows it's eating him up might hit a nerve
We don't even know if Charles knows he's bisexual so him realizing their love goes deeper than what he thought at the same time he has a sexuality crisis is gonna make him question everything so until he's ready to tell him what he feels for him, I'll enjoy the angst (sue me)
If the show gets renewed for a second season there's no way we won't see him come to terms with his sexuality like Edwin did in the first one. We also might see him panic because of how much he notices Edwin staring at him now so it's gonna be great
Charles might also think that crossing that line would be unfair to Edwin because of his anger issues and low self-esteem
As he told Crystal in 'The Case of the Two Dead Dragons', he's got some shit he needs to sort out before getting into a romantic relationship with someone so learning how to love himself might be their focus before we can get that friends to lovers slowburn we all like
If you got here I apologize for my long ass rant and if there's anything that doesn't make sense let me know since english isn't my first language and all I know is self-taught

Introduction to Dr Stephen Bennett: a character from a Corinthian spinoff I’m workshopping :)
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
part of developing my skills as a comic artist requires me to have concepts of my own to be able to play around with. I decided to take my passion for the sandman universe and lay out my vision for what a xavier phoenix corinthian spin-off would look like. psychology professor and lifelong lover boy dr. stephen bennett seems to be the first man corinthian allows himself to get close to.
emotions are a bit harder to avoid after being hastily stitched back together in the midst of a war. accepting them is a different story.

Funny that they mention a lot of TV shows, but not The Sandman or Lucifer on Netflix, which Dead Boy Detectives are closer related to.
Hello,
Are there any current news about the Dead Boy Detectives Spin Off series?
I don’t think that’s mine to give you. Other than I was thrilled we could expand the Netflix Sandman Universe.

What other Neil Gaiman work might you like?
The biggest thing to know about Neil Gaiman is that each work of his is a mixture of horror, fantasy, and subtle comedy.
That being said, each of his projects is pretty distinct from one another and there might be some that are more up to your tastes than others.
I haven't read some of his newer stuff (because I largely stopped reading as much since the early 2010s), but I'll do my best to remember what matters in other works.
Horror
The Sandman is a great work for horror fans. It's also great for mythology fans and other nerds, but horror is a major push and pull factors.
Tumblr media
The comic is probably the greatest body of work Gaiman produced and it's recommended if you're a goth at heart and are comfortable with themes of death and humans being gods' toys.
The Sandman (TV) is a great adaptation, but it's very short so far and doesn't cover the best stories.
Coraline is a horror story for children. It doesn't have anything that's not suitable for kids, but it can be viscerally scary to some people. Both the book and the film are great.
Tumblr media
Mirrormask is my personal favourite, it's a low budget film with mindblowing surreal imagery and one of the best soundtracks ever.
Tumblr media
It's about a teenage girl who has troubles with her parents (who run a circus, btw) and who gets swiped up by her imagination into a bizarre world that is being eaten by her depression. Not a scary film, per se, but it's disturbing. However, it's a very warm film and it always makes me feel better.
Fantasy
Neverwhere is set in a dimension of twisted London Underground where everything that's straightforward in our world becomes weird and too real.
Tumblr media
It really tickled my imagination, I highly recommend the book.
Stardust is set in a more high fantasy setting.
Tumblr media
It features kings, witches, ghosts, and a star that fell to the Earth. It has a young protagonist who's not exactly the best or the brightest person, so if you hate such things, stick to the adaptation. In my opinion, the book is just lovely.
American Gods is a darker fantasy that asks the questions: "What if every god people ever believed in became real through the power of their worship? And then what if that worship started fading?"
Tumblr media
It's set in the USA and because that country is such a melting pot, there are many gods. And not all of them are happy. This is the book that gave Neil Gaiman his reputation of a writer who loves weird sex scenes.
Humour
Stardust the film is often compared to Princess Bride. It's lighthearted, funny, full of imaginative adventures.
Tumblr media
Just a very nice film with an all-star cast.
Anansi Boys is a spin off of American Gods, but it's a lot more lighthearted.
Tumblr media
Anansi is a trickster god, so you know things will get funky.
I haven't read The Graveyard Book and The Ocean at the End of the Lane yet, but I hear they're very good as well.
Also, short story collections or Norse Mythology might be a good place to start if you want to get a feel of Neil Gaiman as an author first.

Rintaro feels the eyes plastered onto him.
He feels every bat of their lashes, every movement of their glances at his sleeping face, his subconscious acknowledges it, and slightly goes into fight or flight. He whines as he forces his heavy eyes to open-
Only to gasp in fear as his subconscious was right: there’s two eyes watching him, unblinking as they stare intently at him, their gaze puppyish and innocent.
He groans, “Sachie, Sachiko, please.” He presses the heel of his hand against his eye to rub them awake, “we talked about this; you can’t scare mommy and daddy awake like this.”
“We sowwy,” Sachie whimpers.
“Just wan’ some wata,” Sachiko finishes. The twins always had a knack for that- being able to finish each others thoughts and sentences.
At any other time, rintaro would be incredibly enamored by it.
Right now, however? Not so much.
Rintaro chuckles softly at their cuteness before looking to the sky, as if to ask for patience. Next to him, you whimper at all the noise, hiking the blankets higher. Rintaro smiles. “Okay, angels,” he says softly, swinging his legs from under the warmth of his covers. “I’ll get you some water.”
“T’ank you,” Sachie murmurs. Sachiko nods at her sister’s appreciation. Rintaro ruffles their hair and gets up from his bed, hands scratching his stomach as he bonelessly shambles to the kitchen. He grabs the cabinet door and opens it to retrieve two cups with lids, making sure they’re clean by sniffing them. He shrugs and makes a move to the fridge, pressing the cups against the water dispenser to fill them enough for the girls to get through the night.
He yawns as he fills the other, eyes growing heavier and heavier the longer he’s vertical, as if the sandman himself is throwing pebbles into his eyes.
He wastes no time in capping off the two cups and making his way back down the hallway to his little girls room, cocking a brow when their two tiny beds are empty.
He spins on his heel to make his way to his bedroom, and god, he’d be so mad if it wasn’t so cute.
Sachie and Sachiko, his precious terror twins, are curled up next to you in his spot, Sachie sucking on her thumb while Sachiko clings to your night shirt. The must’ve tugged you onto your side, because instead of your original position facing away from them, you’re curled against them, one of your arms strewn across them to cuddle them close. You’re drooling softly, and Rintaro can’t fathom the precious sight.
He yawns and plants the small cups on his nightstand before curling up behind Sachiko, trying to get comfortable in the all too small sliver of bed he can just barely fit on. His arm drapes over them both too, burying his face in Sachiko’s soft hair and trying his best to drift back asleep, despite the already deep cramping forming in his back for the uncomfortable position.
Not that he’d dare move them. Nor have it any other way.

Things I Liked About the Agatha All Along Finale - Initial Thoughts
Wooooo boy. Hey look I'm a bleeding heart shipper but I'm old and have been in enough fandoms. Let's process shall we?
Alice! Alice echo-ing what so many fans are saying about her lost potential. Rio actually being kind in reminding Alice her death did have purpose. "You're a protection witch, you protected someone."
The development of Billy's extremely complicated relationship with Agatha. Kid's not loyal to Agatha, he's understanding her, or starting to at least. He sees her being a relationship with Death and he's curious about the story there. He cares enough to connect the dots and see Agatha as a full person. And we see that developed as the finale goes.
"That's it? That's all the time that I get?" The show reminds us that death sometimes just happens – "Sometimes boys die" – I wonder if one of these writers is a Sandman fan because I immediately clocked a parallel to Death of the Endless taking a baby's life in her first comic appearance.
Tumblr media
Death of the Endless is of course much kinder than Rio is with her (iconic) reply to that eternal question. "You lived what anyone gets... A lifetime."
That whole convo we got in the preview clip. And then them just sitting down and talking more? Albeit with layers of manipulation but y'know that's them.
Agatha telling Rio that she'll hand over Billy if Rio leaves her alone: essentially making Rio once again choose between her duty and her feelings towards Agatha. The deepest cut Agatha could make – which we see echoed with "If you do this I'll hate you forever." They know each other and the best ways to hurt each other.
I laughed waaaay too much at Agatha ragging on Jen's last vegetable name.
Jen's unbinding ritual was powerful and a fantastic moment for the character. She recognised and embraced her power. Agatha's mask slipping a little at the end as well. Amazing. Sasheer killed it.
The whole scene with Agatha working with Billy to bring Tommy back was beautiful and emotional and well put together and showed the side to Agatha that cements her as a great mentor (when she's not being the biggest murderous asshole).
Agatha using what she learnt from her Alice and Jen – and what Lilia told her – to hold her ground with Rio... okay it lasted like 10 seconds but it was a nice callback! Agatha's such a shameless survivor.
Incredible kissing. We knew Hahn and Plaza would deliver and they did. When it comes to kissing women, these two absolutely go for it.
Rio looking absolutely gutted with having to take Nicky away. Plaza really delivered with Rio's pain in these eps. Agatha calling her "my love", cursing and then begging.
Rio being soft about Nicky despite her job. Nicky willingly going with her with no fear, no hesitation – suggesting that they did bond somehow? Nicky knew she was a friendly face and trusted her. It was really a good death, all things considered. He wasn't sick, he wasn't in pain, he wasn't scared he simply fell asleep and just went.
Rio reminding Nicky to kiss his mom goodbye. She cares so much, as much as a personification of death can. It's funny how some people thought Rio was going to be this manipulative big bad but no, Agatha's the more toxic one in this relationship.
Okay like imagine Agatha finally dying and just straight up BOOKING it before Rio pops up. Rio hates ghosts. The number of times Agatha deliberately pissed her off this finale was amazing.
"I'm sure he'll forgive you for... whatever you did." Aw Billy is a good kid. Just like Nicky was. Agatha needs that reminder, that anchor to not be the Worst.
Chemistry aside, Agatha and Billy being mentor-pupil makes a ton of sense because these Maximoffs do the most fucked up shit (unintentionally) with their magic and Agatha's got the knowledge, charisma, cynicism, and the morals of a spinning compass to support him.
Alright when are they announcing the sequel / spin-off? I know there's a rumour of it happening. Rio's got 2 abominations and one endlessly aggravating ghost of an ex to deal with now.

For those keeping score here are all the TV shows based on the work of Neil Gaiman from the last ten years. Lucifer - Loosely based on the version of Lucifer who quits ruling Hell and opens a piano bar, from The Sandman comics by Neil Gaiman. Originally aired on Fox and then moved to Netflix for seasons 4 through 6. Neil Gaiman also got to play God in a bonus episode for season 3. The full series can be watched on Netflix. And is available on DVD. The plot deals with Lucifer, the ruler of Hell, up and quitting and moving to Earth where he opens a night club called Lux and takes up playing piano. In the TV series he befriends (and eventually falls in love with) a woman homicide detective named Chloe Decker.
Tumblr media
_______________________ American Gods - Based on the novel by Neil Gaiman. Aired on Starz. The plot deals with a man called Shadow Moon who gets dragged into the strange world of Old and New Gods vying for power.
Tumblr media
________________ Anansi Boys - Originally written by Neil Gaiman as a spin-off of American Gods, the TV series version was filmed for Amazon Prime and is currently in post-production (Not yet released.) The plot deals with the sons of Anansi, the African trickster Spider-God.
Tumblr media
__________________ Good Omens - Showrun by Neil Gaiman and based on the novel by Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett. Also Neil Gaiman has a small cameo in the first season. Available now on Amazon Prime. Seasons 1 and 2 are complete. Season 3 has not yet started filming and will very likely be the final season. Season 1 is currently available on DVD. The plot deals with two "differently competent" entities, an Angel and a Demon, who have come to love life on Earth and each other. And now must work together to prevent the apocalypse.
Tumblr media
______________________________ The Sandman - First episode was co-written by Neil Gaiman, based on the stories and original characters created by Neil Gaiman with a few borrowed DC comics characters. Currently on Netflix. Season 2 is in production now. Neil Gaiman also voiced a ghostly bird in the bonus episode segment Dream of a Thousand Cats. Season 1 will be available on DVD and Blu Ray at the end of this month. The plot deals with Morpheus, the King of Dreams, who accidentally gets summoned and captured by occultists who had been trying to capture The Grim Reaper. After over a hundred and six years in captivity Morpheus finally escapes and has to track down his tools which had been taken from him when he was captured. He also comes to realize he had made many terrible mistakes in the past and struggles to set those wrongs right.
Tumblr media
_________________________________________ The Dead Boy Detectives - First official spin-off of The Sandman. The Dead Boy Detectives were originally planned as an HBO Max series (now just Max) but moved to Netflix after the success of the first season of The Sandman. Based on characters who first appeared in Neil Gaiman's The Sandman: Season of Mists, Neil Gaiman is involved in the production. The plot is a pair of ghost teenagers decide to become detectives and are really bad at it. These two characters made a previous appearance in Doom Patrol on Max (Formerly HBO Max) but had been played by different actors.

Ok I feel like As You Wish!Eddie would be obsessed with that part in Enter Sandman where like he says the lines like “Now I lay me down to sleep” just to have his kids or reader repeat them back in like the innocent voice
Eddie lives his life by Metallica songs and teaches his children to do the same
Words: 1.1k
[As You Wish masterlist]
Tumblr media
“Alright pipsqueak,” Eddie says, gently tugging on the toe of Eliza’s purple footie pajamas as he passes where she sits between her brothers on the couch. “Bedtime.”
“No!” Eliza says, quickly rolling over a hundred eighty degrees so she’s laying on her tummy and buries her face in the couch cushion.
“Yes,” Eddie says. He scoops the remote up from the coffee table and presses the off button, effectively ending Shrek 2. “Come on. Go brush your teeth, little girl.”
Luke stares at his father and gestures to the television, as if to say we were watching that too, man. Rolling his eyes, Eddie tosses the remote into his younger son’s lap.
“Eliza Marie Munson,” Eddie says.
With a huff to show her father her displeasure, the three-year-old pushes herself off the couch and disappears down the hallway. Luke flicks the television back on and the last thing Eddie hears as he follows his daughter down the hallway is his teenage sons laughing at Puss in Boots coughing up a hairball.
“Ah, ah, with the toothpaste.” Your voice floats out of the bathroom into the hallway, making Eddie chuckle as he passes and keeps walking into Eliza’s room.
Deciding to mess with the feisty little firecracker, Eddie snatches up her favorite stuffed pig and lounges on his daughter’s too-short bed. It’s only a few minutes later that Eliza’s heavy tread can be heard coming down the hallway, the heavy footsteps baffling for such a small girl. The moment she crosses the threshold into her room, Eliza’s face scrunches up and her tiny shoulders rise up toward her ears.
“Hey!”
“Is for horses,” Eddie answers.
You’re two steps behind Eliza and the moment you see Eddie on the bed you chuckle to yourself. The Little Terror is about to be unleashed.
“My bed!” Eliza launches herself up on top of her father, causing him to let out an oof as she lands on his stomach. “My Penelope!” Small hands go to grab the stuffed pig but Eddie’s quicker, moving the plush animal behind his head to use as a pillow.
“Wow, kid, you really need to learn to share,” Eddie says.
A long exhale blows from Eliza’s nose, and if you didn’t know any better, you’d say it was a growl. Scooting her body up Eddie’s chest, your daughter rests her forehead against her father’s, giving him the most intimidating look she can manage. She probably doesn’t realize that to Eddie it now just looks like she has one giant eye, though. Hardly intimidating–even for the toddler.
“Did you give night-night kisses?” Eddie asks.
“Penelope,” is Eliza’s only reply.
“I’ll give you Penelope the Pig back once you give everyone goodnight kisses.”
Sitting up straight, Eliza eyes her father skeptically. When he raises his eyebrows at her, she must decide to believe him because she slides from his chest and lands on her carpet with a thud.
“Ryaaaaaan! Luuuuuuke!” Her calls echo down the hall as she runs, the shouts accompanied by the loud thumping of her feet as she picks up speed.
“And you wonder why she’s a menace,” you say to your husband, tilting your head at him as you lean against the door jamb.
“I have absolutely no idea what you’re implying,” your husband answers, giving you the most innocent doe eyes he can manage.
Before you can come up with a response, Eliza rushes past you, back into the room. She skids to a stop and spins on her covered feet to face you.
“Kiss, Mama!”
Happy to oblige her, you scoop her up in your arms and press kisses all over her face. Her giggles are infectious as she tries to dodge your lips, protesting that this is an overload of kisses. She gives you a quick squeeze around the neck and you can’t help but notice how she’s feeling heavier in your arms these days. It makes a part of you sad, remembering when she was small enough to lay in the crook of your elbow.
Eliza wriggles out of your grip and makes her way back over to her bed. Her lower lip juts out in a pout and she bats her dark eyelashes at her dad.
“Can I have Penelope now pleeeeease?” she asks in her sweetest voice.
“I guess so.”
Eddie pushes himself off the child’s bed and hands his daughter the stuffed pig. He presses a kiss to her head and tucks her in as she snuggles beneath her blankets.
“Okay, ready for prayers?” Eddie asks.
“Ready.” Eliza snuggles back against her pillow, clasps her hands together in front of her, and closes her eyes.
“Now, I lay me down to sleep.”
“Now, I lay me down to sleep,” your daughter repeats, making you smile.
“Pray the Lord my soul to keep.”
“Pray the Lord my soul to keep.”
“If I die before I wake.”
“If I die before I wake.”
“Pray the Lord my soul to take.”
“Pray the Lord my soul to take.”
“Good job.” Eddie leans down and kisses her. “Goodnight, Sweet Pea.”
“Nighty night, Daddy.”
Quietly, you slip from the room, Eddie right behind you. He flips the light switch, turning off her overhead light and activating her Mulan nightlight. Gently, he closes the door behind him, and the two of you pad down the hall towards your room.
“You think Wayne will ever catch on that’s from a Metallica song and not your devotion to God?” you ask, a smirk dancing on your lips.
“Not if someone keeps her mouth shut,” Eddie says, grabbing your sides and digging his fingers into them. Giggles erupt from you as you push his hands away and stumble into your shared room.
“Hush little baby, don't say a word,” you recite the next line of the song, walking backwards towards your bed. “And never mind that noise you heard.”
Eddie cocks an eyebrow at you as he slowly saunters forward, coming closer to you.
“It's just the beasts under your bed,” you continue. “In your closet, in your head.”
“Yeah, well,” Eddie says, smirk on his face growing, “you’re about to have a beast in your bed.”
A soft yelp shoots out of you with a bout of laughter as Eddie tackles you down on the bed. He climbs on top of you and presses kisses all over your face, just like you’d done to Eliza.
“Oof, she’s right,” you say. “Too much.”
“Oh, really?” Eddie teases. He scoffs and pretends to climb off of you.
With a roll of your eyes, your fingers grip into the front of his t-shirt and you pull him back down on top of you.
“Get back here, altar boy.”
