Discussing the Theory-Agere!Sides AU (pt.8)
Roman fell asleep while watching Disney, holding his sippy cup, wrapped in a soft white blanket. Virgil turned off the movie, setting him down for a nap on the couch. He stood in the kitchen, speaking with Logan.
“I didn’t even know that littles could get that....”
“Bratty?”
He nodded with a chuckle.
“Yeah, Patton just regresses to a younger age so he’s more dependant, and when I’m little, I’m too scared to act out.”
“But you have to admit, even though the cup almost hit me in the head, it was funny when he threw it,” Logan still seemed amused.
“Oh shut up,” Virgil rolled his eyes, “You have an angel little, you have no say.”
“You’re just mad because my little behaves, and yours doesn’t,”
Virgil seemed annoyed, whatever his response was getting cut off by Patton entering the room. “I’m sure he was just frustrated, before you woke up, he was just being adorable. If anything, he seemed confused as to why he felt and was acting the way he was, and then Logan joked about him being little and he got all shy,” Patton moved to stand next to Logan, wrapping his arm around his waist.
Logan nodded, “That’s when we sent him to get you.”
“So...,” Virgil began, “I think this just further proves my theory. We all regress in different ways,”
Patton nodded. “I’m getting more comfortable with my age regression...around Logan anyways. It helps a lot, after Thomas gets emotional, or we all cause him to have a mental conflict. It’s also just..fun?”
Virgil nodded, “I’ve been regressing knowingly only for a month or two. It doesn’t take long to learn what puts you in little space, and figure out whether or not you can control it. I can willingly go in, but repressing it is hard.”
“I don’t think all three of us regressing is just a coincidence, I think you’re right Virgil,” Logan sighed. “I’m just..you know, the smart one. The most put-together and mature, I just feel its out of place for me to be a regressor too.”
“Are you saying that..it’s really just about what others think?” Patton questioned, and Logan nodded a bit. “Well, none of us would judge you for regressing. Look at all of us, we’re regressors. You’re such a great caregiver to me, and if you are a little, I wouldn’t be opposed to doing the same for you.”
Logan nodded a bit. “I’ve been looking into it, learning terms and stuff. I think all of us have been,if I’m honest,” Logan and Patton chuckled.
“That’s good, knowing the terms, and how people may act, is probably good. You both probably had moments where you acted younger, but you didn’t know what it was. Now that you know what it is, you can recognize it and embrace it,”
Logan went to respond to Virgil, but Roman entered the kitchen, rubbing at his eyes and setting his sippy cup on the counter. “Hello,” he smiled, not talking in the little voice he had before he went to sleep.
“Not little anymore?” Virgil questioned softly.
He shook his head, hugging Virgil. “I don’t even know how it happened, I just woke up, and it was like, a kid took complete control of my mind,”
“A bratty kid, at that,” Virgil teased with a nod.
“I’m sorryyyy, okay? I-i don’t know what was going through my head.”
He stuttered over his words slightly, and Virgil chuckled, kissing his forehead. “It’s okay, but if you do something like that next time you’re little, you’re going in timeout,” he threatened playfully.
“Can you even do that?” Roman questioned.
“Since you are mentally a kid, you treat a little mostly how you’d treat a kid of whatever age they’re regressing too,” Virgil nodded, ruffling his hair.
“I think..we should speed up the process to see if your theory is right. Instead of just waiting to see if Logan randomly wakes up one morning little like Patton and I basically did, we should try and get him to regress,” Roman changed the subject. Logan’s face flushed.
“If I regress, it’ll happen naturally. We’ll just wait and see,” he intervened before he continued.
“Well, I think that we are all regressors,” Patton stated him agreement with Virgil.
Logan looked to Roman, “I mean, it would make sense.”
The tv in the living room lit up, labeled ‘Thomas Alert’. “It calls for all of us, we should go,” Patton’s voice seemed to be laced with slight annoyance, but the four nodded, popping out one by one.
They were all slowly adjusting to this new aspect of their relationships and lives, but they were there for each other no matter what.
That’s all that matters.
A/N: Soon, I will reveal Logan’s littlespace, and then we get into the fun part! Where I explore each of their littlespaces in more detail, write about how the newfound caregivers deal with their babies, and also just do some fun world building. I’m looking forward to it!!

Little!Remus Teen!Virgil
Request by: Gothfoxx - Remus looses his stuffed animal and asks Virgil to help him find it. - Yeah...this one gets a little dark. Sorry. Not sure why a prompt about a missing toy made me want to add an angsty teenage Virgil. But I started writing and this is what came out. I’m actually not that sorry. I love this fic, and I don’t even know why. It’s not even that...good.😅
Notes:⚠️ Warning: ⚠️ Angst, some curse words, Anxiety attacks mentioned, lots of crying, possible trauma, past mistakes mentioned, a lot of self deprecating thoughts, teenage angst, passive aggressive Janus, Janus threatens something...not very nice (but makes up for it.) unsupervised regressors, fears of abandonment, fear of death, actual abandonment, darkness, monsters, and blood is also mentioned. Point is, I Torture Virgil a lot on this one. But... cuddles? 😅
-
Virgil wasn’t always great with kids. He had to be an adult and in his special caregiver mode to even try to handle being around the littles. He wasn’t bad with them outside of it. There was just something about that mindset to make Virgil care. He wasn’t sure what it was but it was...something.
Ughh. That’s so vague.
Virgil was currently stuck in a teen headspace. It’s just like regressing but to the mindset of a teenager. When in this mindset he had no interest in the littles or the caregivers. He had nothing against them but he just couldn’t stand the way caregivers would try to get him involved in stuff and watch over him like he wasn’t capable of doing anything himself. Or the way the littles were needy and affectionate. Luckily being in teen space was easy enough to hide. He just needed to listen to music and ignore everyone. That’s like one of his favorite things to do anyway.
He was just chilling on the couch listening to Clint Eastwood by Gorillaz. A personal favorite of his when in this state of mind when he heard a small: “Pssst.”
Virgil slowly took out an earpiece.
“Pssst, Virgil.”
Virgil looked around.
“Down here.”
Virgil looked behind the couch to see Remus. Obviously in a little headspace.
“What are you doing?” Virgil asked. Damn, he hoped that didn’t sound too mean.
“I have a very important mission. And I need your help.”
“What? What are you talking about?”he asked.
“I need to know if I can trust you.”
“You know you can’t,”he scoffs.
“Good enough for me, will you help?”
“I don’t know, you haven’t even told me what you-“
“Meet me in my room in two minutes!”he demands. “But be careful, my friend; For my sanity is currently resting in your hands,”he says before running away.
“Didn’t know you had any!”He shouted.
Now Virgil has two options here. He could:
A) Hide in his room until this mindset goes away and apologize to Remus later for being an ass.
Or
B) Pull himself together for two seconds and help Remus with...whatever it was.
He supposed he could’ve left to find a caregiver, but he didn’t want to have to explain why he couldn’t do this himself.
Remus wasn’t the worst when little. He wasn’t incredibly needy or affectionate so maybe it wouldn’t be so bad. Besides, he kinda owes him after leaving the dark sides and cursing him and Janus’s mere existence all these years later. He wasn’t still mad about that, right? ~~~~Later in Remus’s room~~~~
“I’ve brought you here today to help me with a super secret assignment. One of my dear friends is missing, I need your help to find him.”
“How old are you right now, Remus?”Virgil asked.
“Eight, how old are you?”
“Not important,”Virgil mumbled as he tried to hide his face under the hood of his jacket.
“He is very important to me, Virgil. I can’t sleep without him, and it’s almost naptime!”He gasped dramatically.
“You asked me over here, on a super secret mission to find a stuffed animal?”
“Lucifer isn’t just any stuffed animal! He’s the best most important stuffed animal ever to walk the planet!”
Virgil hesitates. “Stuffed animals can’t walk...”
“Fine, swim the planet then,”Remus rolled his eyes.
“What?”the teen asked.
“Lucifer is a dolphin!”Remus explained happily.
“You named your...never mind.”
“So you’ll help me?”
“Maybe you should ask Roman.”Virgil suggests.
“No!''He whines, pulling on Virgil's sleeve, “I want you to help me. You’re the vigilant!”
“That makes no sense.”
“Please?”
Virgil sighed, what would be worse, telling a caregiver that he was regressed or helping Remus find a stuffed animal?
“Alright. Where did you last see him?”Virgil asked.
Remus grabs Virgil's hand and leads him down the hall to a black door.
“He’s in there?”Virgil asked, standing right outside Remus’s mindscape.
Remus nods, “that’s where I saw’d him the last time.”
Virgil started to get nervous, “are you absolutely possessive you don’t want to just go find Roman?” He asked again, hoping Remus would just change his mind.
Remus nodded, “I’m sure.”
Virgil sighed, he needed to be the adult here. “Alright, let’s get this over with.”
Remus squealed In excitement. “Here we go!”
They went inside where it was all dark. Virgil was scared but refused to show it. Especially in front of Remus. He had to be an adult...even if he wasn’t one.
“Okay, so where would you have gone? Try retracing your steps.”
Remus nodded and walked further and further into the dark abyss.
“Wait!”Virgil shouts, “what if we get lost in here? Everything looks the same.”
“Don’t worry,”Remus says, “I know this place like the back of my rear.”
Virgil shook his head, “I don’t want to know.”
They had been looking for about twenty minutes when Virgil suddenly realized that Remus was nowhere to be seen. “Remus?”He asked. “Where are you?”
Suddenly he heard moaning and groaning behind him. He turned around and nothing was there. He sighed in relief, but then He turned back and he was suddenly attacked by a bunch of zombies.
Virgil froze, he was going to die in here.
Suddenly Remus came back and watched them terrorize Virgil. “Don’t worry, Vee! They only want to eat you!”
“Why would that make me feel better?!”Virgil shouted, tears in his eyes. “Just make them go away, please!”he begged.
“Ok ok,”He says rolling his eyes, he snapped the zombies away and Virgil didn’t get off the ground.
“You oki, vergie?”Remus asked, crouching down to him.
Virgil took a deep breath. He can’t have an attack, not now. He tried to pull himself together. “No, Remus. I’m sorry, but I’m- I’m freaking out, this place is...” ‘don’t curse, he’s a child, don’t curse, he’s a child.’ “Heck! We need to just- get out of here.”
“But we haven’t found Lucifer yet. They were just zombies.”
“Just?! Remus, this place is incredibly dangerous, I never should’ve come in here!”
“Yeah, I know,”he shrugged like it was nothing.
“You know?”Virgil asked.
“I mean, it’s always like this. It s’pose to be scary.”
“Remus, why? Why would you do that? Why would you ask me to help you, knowing full well it would be this bad?!”He yelled, “why didn’t you just get Roman like I asked you to?! Do you really hate me that much?!”
Remus didn’t answer right away, he sighed sadly, looking down, then at Virgil and then looked down again, “I don’ hate you, Vee...Is jus’ cuz...I miss you.”
Virgil has never felt worse of a person. “Remus-“
Remus ran away into the darkness before Virgil could say anything else.
“Remus, wait! Please I don’t...”
Virgil tried to run after him but lost his way.
Remus was gone...
“I don’t know how to get out of here...”Virgil says despite knowing Remus couldn’t hear him.
Virgil wandered the hell that was this mindscape until he finally found that stupid dolphin next to a blood soaked coffin. Virgil cried again, and this time it wasn’t because he was scared. Because he’d failed Remus...again. He was supposed to protect him, he was supposed to be his friend! Virgil held the stuffed animal in his arms, and despite being much too mature for it, Virgil hugged it tightly.
Virgil still hated himself and believed he deserved to be here. He was abandoned. Just like Virgil abandoned Remus.
Virgil has been walking through countless rooms full of intrusive horrors. Over and over. He panicked and ran for his life. Until finally it stopped. An overwhelming silence rushed over him in a dark nothingness. Virgil started to cry again when lo and behold. There it was.
The door.
~~~~Later~~~~
He found his way out of the mindscape at last. He flew the door open and was so relieved to see he was back home. He was exhausted, and overwhelmed with anxiety but still thought deep down he deserved this feeling.
He didn’t deserve love, He didn’t deserve to be home.
Why couldn’t he just do this one thing for Remus? This could’ve been his only chance to fix what he did.
To be his friend again...
But he didn’t deserve that chance. He didn’t deserve forgiveness.
He almost made it back to his own room when he ran into Roman. “Virgil, oh my gosh. Are you alright? What happened to you?”
Virgil rubbed his face and nodded, “have you seen Remus?”
“Oh. He’s with Janus. That doesn’t answer my question, Verge. What’s going on?”
“Remus was looking for this,”he held up Lucifer, Roman only humming in response. “He took me to his mindscape and I couldn’t find the way out.”
“Virgil...”Roman asks, “how old are you right now?”
Virgil sighs, pulling up the hood of his jacket.
“Virgil?”Roman asked, stricter this time.
“Fourteen...”Virgil mumbled.
“Why didn’t you tell us?”
“Because I don’t need a caregiver.” He says, “at least...I didn’t think I did,”tears started to pour down his face and he hated himself more, if that were even possible.
Roman wrapped his arms around him. “It’s alright, emo. It’ll be ok.”
Virgil nodded and gently pulled away. Not because he didn’t enjoy it, but because he didn’t deserve it. “Thanks.”
“So, just to get this gay. Remus asked you to help him find something in a dangerous mindscape and left you there?”Roman sounded angry, like he was about to go find Remus but Virgil stopped him: “It’s not his fault, I yelled at him.”
“What? Why would you do that?”
“I’m sorry! I’s...My fight or flight instincts just took over I guess, and...you know I’m not a fan of other people’s mindscapes, they’re too...unpredictable.”
“Especially Remus’s,”Roman nods.
Virgil nods too. He took a deep breath. “I need to apologize. Did you say he was with Janus?”
Roman nodded, “unfortunately, Janus is not going to like this. Do you want me to come with you? I can talk to him so you can talk to Remus alone.”
Virgil shrugged, “I don’t know. I think- I deserve what I get.”
“Virgil-“
“I left them, Roman. How do I come back from that?”He asked. “I fucked everything up- and don’t you dare tell me I didn’t!”
“Let me come with you, Virgil.” Roman asks, “please?”
Virgil nods, “alright. Fine.”
They walk over to Janus’ room and knock on the door. “Yes?”he answers.
“Can I talk to Remus?”Virgil asks.
“I don’t know...can you?”
Virgil did everything he could to not roll his eyes, “I’m here to apologize.”
Janus looks behind him, “well...alright. But if you hurt him again, I will suppress you for two weeks.”
“That’s fair,”Virgil says, biting his nails anxiously.
Roman disagreed but didn’t intervene yet.
Virgil walked in and over to Remus who turned his back on him.
He hands Remus Lucifer, and Remus snatches the dolphin and snuggles with it.
“I came to say I’m sorry.”Virgil says, “for what I said, for being so irresponsible, for treating you the way I have all these years...and mostly for leaving you two.”
Remus didn’t answer but Janus at least looked at him.
Tears started to make their way out. “I know I don’t deserve your forgiveness. I should be suppressed or locked away, it’s what I deserve. But I hope maybe one day you could maybe find a way to...”
Remus didn’t say anything, didn’t face him either.
Virgil nodded, “ok.” The tears are getting worse.
“Did you tell Virgil thank you for finding Lucifer?”Janus asked. He didn’t really look like he was in a forgiving mood either. Virgil just wanted to lock himself up in his room until the sun went away.
he didn’t deserve anything better.
Remus shook his head but before he could say anything Virgil interrupts, “he doesn’t have to. I should probably go.”
Roman offered Virgil a sympathetic smile as the teen walked closer to him.
“Vee?”Remus called.
“Yeah?”Virgil turned around.
Remus threw the dolphin across the room and ran to hug Virgil, “I’m so sorry I left you, Vee. Please be my friend again.”
Now Virgil was crying openly, holding onto Remus like he was never going to let him go.
~~~~Afterwards~~~~
Roman and Janus had a long conversation with Remus about taking people into any mindscape when either party is in any sort of age regression. Then they had a conversation with Virgil about what he was going through, the self-deprecating thoughts, the issues regarding Remus and Janus that still reside within him, and then the scary things that happened in the mindscape.
Janus reassured Virgil that all was forgiven, and that he was truly loved by every single side there, and that he didn’t deserve to be punished or feel guilty for living a better life if it made him happy. They hugged for about two minutes before Virgil realized it was too long. Then went ahead and hugged Roman too for good measure.
Janus and Roman then made both regressors some hot chocolate. Remus and Virgil then decide to spend the rest of the night together. They had some lost time to make up for.
They watched Steven universe in a blanket fort Virgil and Remus made together. (Mostly Virgil though) Virgil finally felt safe, he felt loved. And Remus made him feel like he was actually someone worth loving. Maybe the littles and caregivers weren’t so bad after all.
“Vee?”Remus asked.
“Yeah?”
“Do you love me?”He asked.
Virgil smiled, “I mean, yeah. Of course, Rem. Why?”
“Let’s fuse!”Remus shouts.
“Remus, what?!”Remus jumps while still inside the fort causing it to collapse on them both.
“Oops. Sorry.”
Virgil sighed, “it’s fine.” Virgil unfortunately had to explain to Remus that sides can’t fuse. But Roman encouraged the two of them to design a fictional fusion.
So Virgil got out a blank piece of paper and drew an outline for Remus to color it in with purple and green. It actually didn’t look half bad for an eight year old.
They were now ‘intruxity.’ No one can stop them now!
Except of course the caregivers who told them they had to put away their stuff and go to bed.Never underestimate the amazing power of the caregivers.
Notes: Teen!Virgil with little!Remus was surprisingly so fun to write! I’d like to write these two again. If anyone has any more requests with Virgil and Remus, I’d be more than willing. Maybe Virgil will be more...nurturing next time? Like an actual caregiver? Or maybe we’ll go even angstier? If that’s possible. Who knows. 😅 hopefully you liked it. Anyway I’m going to get back in my own fort and watch Steven universe. Byeeeeee!

Smart Baby-Agere!Sides AU (pt.12)
Patton could tell that Logan was slipping. For the first time ever,Logan was on the edge of regressing.
It had been only a few days since Logan had taken care of Roman and Virgil, and Patton when he regressed later in the day.
Logan found himself wanting more affection than usual, though Patton always gave it to him without asking. Logan also wanted to get out of his dress shirt and tie,he felt trapped and too..adult? He usually didn't mind, he liked feeling put together, but he just felt like it was some sort of uncomfortable costume.
It didn't help that Roman regressed. Even little,Roman acted bigger than Logan was feeling. The day prior was stressful for all of the sides, but Logan the most. Logan was the one who had to take the lead,telling Thomas what to say during different events.
Roman regressed, as usual, wearing a yellow sweater with white stars. He held a white sippy cup, wearing blue leggings the oversized sweater draped over. Slowly,his little outfits have become more feminine,and during this process,Thomas has begun to feel more confident trying out different fashion styles.
"You've been so good today,should I be worried,darling?" Virgil questioned jokingly, pulling him into his lap.
Roman shook his head, giggling. "Maybeee," he said in a sing-song voice.
Virgil acted shocked, "So the good baby boy I've been caring for is only visiting?"
Roman giggled again, leaning against Virgil. "You're a silly kid,Ro," Virgil kissed his forehead,causing him to smile.
On the tv, Moana played. It was one of Logan's favorite disney movies, even when he was big. He liked the cultural representation, which he knew a lot about. But the childlike fogginess taking him over just liked the music.
"Logan? You alright?" Patton was laying across the couch, his head in Logan's lap. The only little one was Roman, but all of them just needed a breather. So Patton and Virgil were just watching the movie,entertaining Roman, while Logan stayed quiet, attempting to push down the childish things his mind was telling him to do.
"Mhm," he mumbled, nodding, biting at his lip. Patton seemed to have a quick moment of realization,attempting to test the waters.
"How about we go get you changed?" He sat up, Logan having the impulse to pout at the lack of affection,biting on his lip instead. "You must hate wearing a tie all the time," Patton took it upon himself to loosen his tie, pulling it over his head.
"m' fine," Logan mumbled, pushing his hands away.
"calm down, baby, no need to get snappy," Patton scolded slightly, causing Logan to pout without being able to stop himself.
"Don't call me baby," he stated, trying to keep his voice level.
"Logan, calm down," Patton instructed. Virgil and Roman were watching the movie, and Patton was talking quietly enough so that they didn't hear. "I'm not doing anything to make you mad, you just seem a bit stressed, Lo."
Logan felt guilty, and he held back a sniffle, "Sorry," he mumbled, looking down.
Patton sighed, "it's alright, Logan. How about we get you into some comfy pajamas, and come back to finish the movie with the others?"
Logan almost nodded, pausing, "n-no! Don't want to miss the movie!" he shook his head, crossing his arms, as if to prove he wasn't gonna move.
Patton chuckled, "Wait a second, Lo," he instructed, and Logan agreed. He continued to watch the movie while Patton moved to talk to Virgil. "Pause the movie? I think Logan's regressing, I want to get him into comfier clothes."
Virgil nodded understandingly, "While you do that, I'll refill Ro's sippy? Does Logan want anything, a snack or drink?"
Virgil made a hand motion, and the movie on the tv stopped playing the movie.
"Lo, you want some juice?" Patton asked.
"Orange juice, please," he nodded, obviously trying really hard not to slip up.
"Stay here, Ro," Virgil kissed his forehead, picking up Roman's tablet from the coffee table and handing it to him. Roman started tapping it, opening a game with soft music. Patton lead Logan back to his own room, opening his closet.
"What do you want to wear?" Patton asked, and Logan shrugged, lifting his feet and kicking them slightly. "You can borrow anything in my closet," he pushed it open, motioning to the stuff inside.
Patton sighed when he didn't respond, thinking for a moment before summoning something he thought he'd like. It was a fluffy pajama shirt. It was blue, with white stars and planet doodles all over it.
Logan couldn't stop himself from making grabby hands towards the shirt, squealing. "Hold on, baby."
Logan lowered his hands, pouting at his instructions, but nodding. Patton made note to the fact that he didn't ask not to be called baby this time.
Patton pictured a pair of fluffy white pants, with blue planets instead, like an inverse of the shirt. It would make Logan look like a soft nerd.
Patton didn't know how old Logan was, so he tried to make it kiddish, but not to"babyish" just incase. "You like this?" he held it up, and Logan nodded with a giggle, making the grabby hand motion once again.
He lowered his hands quickly, shaking his head in a dorm of disappointment with himself. Patton sighed, crouching down. "What's wrong, Lo?"
"I feel..um.."
"Little?"
He shyly nodded, continuing. "It's harder to talk right, and I want to act like a kid..it's stupid," He was obviously still repressing his little speech.
"No, it isn't. If you feel little, then that's okay. You've never been little before, so it might feel weird, but don't be ashamed or disappointed with yourself." Logan nodded at this, shifting the topic.
"How'd you know I was slipping?" he tilted his head.
"I could just tell, we can talk about this later, though. I want you to try and be little, and not be shy about it. Roman's little too, and Virgil knows how to take care of littles, literally everyone in the house is acceptive. You're okay," Patton took his hand, squeezing it slightly.
"But..but-" Logan pouted, and Patton cut him off.
"Not but's, just go put on this cute outfit," he handed him the clothes, and moved to kiss his forehead. "How little do you feel, bud?"
Patton smiled when he heard Logan's voice shift, "three..don't know," he admitted shyly.
"Awe, baby," Patton cooed when Logan went to hide his face, "you're littler than I thought," he teased.
"nuh-uh!" he shook his head, "m' so big right now. So big n' scary," his voice sounding promising. Patton only laughed, ruffling his hair and handing him the clothes.
"Can you get dressed by yourself?"
Logan nodded, then hesitating. Patton seemed to understand, closing the door. "Lift your arms," he instructed.
Logan giggled as Patton helped him redress, and soon he was in the cutesy pajama set. Patton put white fluffy socks on his feet, and he just looked so..soft?
Logan squealed when he looked in the mirror, bouncing in place. Patton wrapped his arms around his waist, kissing the side of his head. "You're so cute, Little Lo."
Logan scrunched up his nose, giggling. "m' cute!" he repeated with his childish voice.
"is there anything else you need? Like a paci, or blanket, or stuffie?"
Logan bit at his lip, "You know what? The adorable, smart baby boy deserves all three!" Patton said enthusiastically.
He summoned a star blankie, white stars against a fluffy shade of baby blue. Needless to say that Logan loved it, also accepting the stuffed octopus Patton summoned for him.
"Don't need paci, I'm to big," he mumbled, but Patton didn't believe it.
"Are you sure, darling?" Patton asked, and Logan looked down shyly. "Hmm," Patton thought, a dark blue pacifier appearing in his hands. "You sure you don't want it?"
It said 'Smart Baby' in white letter beads on the handle, and there was a glittery silver star charm on the button. Logan whined quietly, still shaking his head shyly, as if someone would judge him if he put that in his mouth. "Lo, open your mouth for me," Patton instructed, but Logan shook his head.
Patton sighed, thinking for a moment,wrapping his arms around Logan's waist again. He tickled his side with one hand, and while Logan was squirming and giggling, he pecked his lips. He put the pacifier in his mouth during the split second it was open.
Logan didn't fight it after that, only giggling, "Pat, you're silly,"
"Mhm, I sure am!" Patton took his hand, and lead him out to the kitchen. Virgil handed him a sippy cup with a dark blue lid, filled with the orange juice he had asked for earlier.
"You're pajamas are so cute, Lo!" Virgil ruffled his hair, booping the star on his pacifier and causing him to giggle. Logan used his hand to adjust his glasses, leaning into Patton's side.
“thank yous!” he spoke childishly, and Virgil and Patton both audibly ‘awed’
Big Logan was going to be so embarrassed, but at least Little Logan was having fun.

Lonely Baby Bat-Agere!Sides AU (pt.15)
Logan decided on letting Virgil watch Scooby Doo, skipping the steps and using his magic to turn on the show. Patton wasn't as interested, but he kept pointing to Scooby, and saying "papa, look! is a puppy!"
And Logan respond, "Yes, Scooby Doo is a dog."
Logan left Virgil on the couch, moving Patton onto a fluffy blanket on the floor. He stacked up his baby blocks with him, made sure he had his pacifier, and babied him a lot. But Virgil?
Virgil felt lonely, he wanted 'His Ro' to be there. To cuddle him, to treat him just a bit littler than he felt because Roman was the only one that knew he liked that. It kept him in littlespace for longer, because sometimes that was hard for him.
Usually, if he felt lonely, or like Roman was ignoring him while he was little, he'd pout. FInd a way to communicate when he's too shy to talk, and Roman would get it after a bit. Logan only knew how to baby Patton, he was giving all his attention and affection to his little. But Roman left to do something better.
This made Little Virgil worry, what if Roman doesn't actually care about him?
He lost interest in the show, seemingly regressing deeper in age, at some point summoning his pacifier. He felt like sobbing, but Logan was having so much fun with Patton. Why distract him, and make him waste his time on comforting him?
Virgil remembered what he Roman had told him. If he felt lonely, playing with another little was always an option. He knew Patton was regressed to baby ages, and Virgil wasn't much bigger than that, so he climbed off the couch, and crawled to sit next to Patton. "Hey Virgie, are you littler now?" Logan seemed to just remember he was there, slightly shocked how the presence of the boy could be forgotten.
Virgil nodded, sitting criss-cross applesauce next to the sleepier boy. Patton yawn, his pacifier falling out of his mouth. He pouted, his lip quivering. "Hey, hey," Logan used his magic to clean the pacifier, putting it back in the baby's mouth. "It's alright, no need to cry."
Patton sniffled, wiping at his eyes. "I think someone's a little sleepy, hmm? A sleepy, emotional, little baby?" Patton nodded guiltily, reaching for Logan with grabby hands.
"Awe, baby," Logan picked him up, bringing him to the couch and setting him down. "Does Little Pat need a nap?"
Patton didn't object, so Logan summoned the blankets from his room. Once making sure he was comfortable, he set his bottle and stuffed animal near him. Patton seemed to fall asleep quickly, and Logan kissed his forehead before heading back to Virgil.
Virgil wanted his caregiver to cuddle him until he fell asleep, because the mix of negative emotions was to much for Virgil. He was on the verge of crying. No attention, no affection, and he didn't know how to tell Logan that he felt left out and alone.
"Hey, Vee. Are you hungry? We had a small breakfast and it's been a bit since then."
Virgil nodded, he wanted a snack. "Cookie?" he mumbled, taking the pacifier out of his mouth and vanishing it to his room. He was quickly decreasing and aging up with his headspace age at the moment, the emotions pulling at his head and confusing him.
"I didn't think to ask your caregiver about sweets..sorry, hun. Don't know if I can do that."
Virgil didn't listen, standing up and making his way to the kitchen. He didn't have the energy to explain that when he was upset, Roman would give him little rewards, just for communicating his feelings, or for holding it together when he was upset. Roman understood that that was a harder thing for him, especially when he was little and sad. Roman would realize how Virgil felt and give him a cookie right now, to make him feel better.
"Virgil!" Logan caught up with him before he reached the counter, blocking him walking to the cabinet.
Virgil ignored him, pushing him to the side lightly, standing on his toes to reach the oreo package in the cabinet. "No, I said you couldn't have one," Logan pushed him away from the counter, closing it.
Virgil stomped, masking his sadness and loneliness in anger and brattiness. "Dada would let me,"
"I have no way of knowing that for sure, he isn't here,"
"I knoww!" Virgil shouted in his childish voice, and Logan seemed shocked. Logan never, ever, had to deal with a brat. Even if it was emotion-based brattiness.
Logan didn't know how to respond, and Virgil seemed to suddenly remember that he could summon things. The oreo package disappeared from the cabinet, into his arms. He went to open it, but Logan took it away quickly. "Don't shout, listen to me."
Virgil seemed to falter,like he still wanted to cry, but he only spoke again. "plea-..please?"
"No, I was gonna ask your caregiver but I don't know if you deserve a cookie after that. Le-"
"I didn't do anything," Virgil whined, crossing his arms.
"You stomped your foot, you shouted, and refused to listen to me. That's a temper tantrum,"
Virgil hated being yelled at, especially when he was already on emotional overload. He tried to hold himself together, breathing deeply. With a little like Patton, you'd think Logan would be good at reading emotions.
He shook his head, his eyes glossing over, and he ran to his room, dodging Logan. ROman seemed to enter at the best time, "Why are you home early?"
"I feel like my baby needs me, it's dumb, but I had a feeling."
"it's not dumb, you're right. He ran to his room,"
Roman nodded, not furthering the interaction in any way before making his way to Virgil's room. "Vee?"
He didn't see him, but then he remembered his hiding spot during hide and seek. He wouldn't of hidden much better in the mentality of a five year old. He opened the closet, and he saw him there, curled into himself against the corner of the wall, crying.
"Baby, baby, come here," Roman opened his arms, and Virgil didn't hesitate to take his place. Roman wiped at his eyes, "tell me what's going on, okay?"
Virgil whined, "Don't wanna get in trouble,"
"We can talk about that after, I need to know what you did before I can decide if that's needed."
"Lo left me on the couch..n' he played with Patton. Left me alone! And I wanted cuddles..b-but you weren't there and-" he huffed, having a had time forming his words.
"Logan didn't pay attention to you, or give you any affection? Did that make you feel lonely, baby?" Virgil nodded, and Roman kissed his head, encouraging him to continue.
"I know m' supposed to say something when m' sad but it's hard...bein' sad make my head hurt,"
Roman chuckled a bit, nodding. "Did the emotions get to you, did it get to much?"
Roman knew he experienced emotional and anxiety overload, that's why he gave him the little rewards. To let him know, that even though he felt terrible, Roman could still find something he did well to make him feel better.
Virgil nodded, "B-but I didn't cry...I asked for cookie, n' he said no! And I got mad, and he told I was having a tem-..temper-" he huffed, looking at Roman to supply the word.
"Temper tantrum?"
Virgil confirmed, hiding his face in Roman's chest. "It's not great that you shouted, but I'm not upset with you. I should of explained to him that. Was he harsh with you?"
Virgil mumbled in confirmation,sniffling. "I just wan cuddles, please?"
Roman wrapped his arms more tightly around the boy, "Of course, baby."
Roman knew he'd have to have a long conversation with Logan.

Telling Thomas-Agere!Sides AU (pt.18)
"What is it, Roman? Did I do something, what's going on?" Thomas seemed concerned and confused, waiting for Roman to respond.
"We can teach you more about it later, but me and the other core sides do this thing, called age regression. We sometimes go into a headspace where we are mentally younger,"
Thomas seemed to understand his words, and Roman continued, "A littlespace, is what's this is called. We mentally regress, all four of us to different ages. We do stuff a kid of that age would, we act like we're that age, and even use things someone of that age would. For example, Patton, Virgil, and Logan use adult pacifiers when they regress."
"I mean, okay? Why didn't you guys tell me before?"
Roman shrugged, smiling. "We were scared, I guess. We didn't want you to be weirded out by how we act, because it goes deep. Virgil calls me 'dada' when he's little, I'm his caregiver. But currently, I'm taking care of all three of them because everyone but me regressed."
"Oh..awww! Wait do I get to meet the regressed versions of Logan, Virgil, and Patton?" Thomas seemed excited, and Roman nodded.
"Yeah, when Logan's big I'll have him explain in more detail the terms and all, but for now, just go with it. Fair warning, they are sensitive, and shy. They really do act like babies. they're all mentally two or three right now."
Thomas nodded. Roman closed his eyes for a moment, popping out of the living room and into the mindscape commons. "Hey babies, I told Thomas!"
Roman hugged the anxious and scared Virgil, patting Patton's head, and ruffling Logan's hair. "He was fine with it, and he wants to meet you guys. So..let's go!"
Roman held Virgil's and Patton's hand, and popped up in Thomas's living room with them, and Logan appeared in a moment. Patton immediately had trouble standing, and sat criss-cross applesauce on the ground with a giggle. Logan avoided looking at Thomas, quickly pulling the red pacifier out of his mouth and putting it in the front pocket of his colorful overalls.
Virgil didn't take his pacifier out of his mouth, but he sat on the bottom steps and hid his face in his bear. "Boys, say hi," Roman instructed, and Patton only waved with an adorable giggle.
"H-hello.." Virgil stuttered, mumbling around his pacifier, hiding from the world behind his stuffed animal.
Logan only whined, finding himself to have a hard time speaking, looking to Roman. "Hi," he managed to squeak out.
"When they're this small, not only are they shy, but they have a hard time talking. Patton goes mostly nonverbal, but when he does talk its hard to understand. Only his caregiver, Logan, can clearly understand him, either way its adorable. Virgil usually can talk, he just has a hard time saying larger words, but he prefers not to. And, well, this is only Logan's second ever time regressing, so I'm not sure about him yet," Roman explained to Thomas, and Logan got shy when he was addressed.
"They're so cute!" Thomas squealed, looking at them.
"Aren't they? Well, I don't know how much we will be able to help with whatever you need...they're literally babies."
"My life problems can wait, I wanna get to know them, they're adorable!"
Roman laughed, "How about we hang out here? They're not gonna open up if we're just sitting here.."
"My house is yours, go on," Thomas motioned around him, and Roman stepped froward to make sure they were able to leave their spots.
"Okay, so we just finished breakfast, usually we find something fun for them to do. We've already watched cartoons today, and they're to little for crafts, they'd just make a mess..." Roman pondered, moving to pick up Patton. Thomas seemed shocked that he could just casually pick up someone the same size as him and rest him on his hip, but he didn't say anything.
Roman put Patton on the couch, then moving to help Virgil, and Logan insisting on walking on his own. Since he wasn't as clumsy as the other two, Roman let him walk on his own, holding Virgil's hand. Once they were all three on the couch, Patton whined, "What is it, baby?" Roman asked, and Patton didn't talk.
"I can't help you if you don't tell me whats wrong."
Thomas watched the interaction, "Maybe he needs a blanket?"
Roman looked to Patton, who nodded. "Alright, I'm gonna go back to the mindscape to get blankets, toys, their sippy cups and bottles, and other things. Watch them for a moment, help them pick out a disney movie, alright?"
Thomas had no idea what he was doing, but he nodded, and Roman disappeared. Virgil scooted closer to Patton, wrapping his arm around him and letting the slightly mentally younger boy cuddle closer. Thomas audibly 'awed' at the sight, sitting between the two of them, and Logan.
"What do you guys wanna watch?"
"Moana!" Logan called out quickly, which was his first time speaking since he nervously said 'hi' a little bit ago. He blushed and shied back, mumbling, "didn't mean to be loud.."
"It's okay," Thomas chuckled, "Are you two good with Moana?"
Patton clapped his hands, and Virgil nodded, so Thomas located the movie on Disney+. The first few minutes played before Roman came back with a box, and his arms full. Thomas got up to help him, taking the box and setting it on the ground. "I refilled their bottles and sippy cups, the blue sippy cup is for Logan, bottle for Patton, and the black sippy cup is for Virgil. He was using a bottle but I think he's a little bigger now," Roman handed him the liquid-filled bottles.
Thomas gave them to their respective owners, and Roman took the blankets and moved to give each of them a few. "You two can share my blankets, since you guys love it so much," Roman tucked the fluffy red blanket over Patton and Virgil, layering it with a white fluffy blanket.
"Fluffy!" Virgil squealed.
"Hey Vee, is it alright if I let Logan use your blankets?" Roman asked, and Virgil nodded. Logan attempted to take the blankets and cover himself, but Roman gave him a look, and Logan whimpered, but let him help. "You guys all have your pacifiers, sippy cups, and stuffies...I think that's all we need," Roman decided.
"wait, where's you pacifier, Lo?"
Logan pulled it out of his pocket with a huff, and Roman sighed. "Why aren't you using it, little one?"
Logan whimpered again, pouting as he hid his face in his octopus. "Are you being shy?" Roman teased with a smirk, reaching out his arms to place them on Logan's sides. He knew full well that all of the sides were ticklish, because Thomas was. He tickled the little's sides, and he giggled out. Roman took his pacifier by the handle, "Do you want it, or do you want me to put it in your room?"
Logan pouted, whining softly. "Open your mouth, ah!" Roman opened his own mouth, signaling what Logan was supposed to do. Logan giggled, mimicking his actions, and Roman took the chance the pop the pacifier into his mouth.  The boy scrunched up his nose and smiled, distracting himself with his stuffed animal.
"Okay but why were you scared to tell me, like, I could've been witnessed this adorableness! But nooo, you guys held out on me.." Thomas rolled his eyes, pretending to me annoyed.
"Just sit down and watch the movie with the babies," Roman instructed, and Thomas quickly obliged, taking his prior spot next to Virgil and Patton. Roman sat close to Logan, wrapping his arm around him.
This movie night would be just the beginning of Thomas getting to know the little sides, soon they will be less shy, and more silly.
No matter what, Roman did not regret telling him in the slightest.

Three Babies and One Stressed CG-Agere!Sides AU (pt.17)
Roman knew he had his hands full when both Virgil and Patton woke up little, and Logan was slipping, swearing up and down that he'd stay big. It wasn't long before he was little too.
At least all of them were regressed around the same age, about two. They all sat on the couch, still in their pajamas, with their pacifiers and stuffed animals. Patton's stuffed kitten, Virgil's black bear, and Logan's stuffed octopus. "Okay, you first," Roman helped Virgil up.
"You two, stay here and watch Disney, just shout my name if you need anything, alright?"
Logan and Patton nodded, already distracted by the episode of Mickey Mouse he put on.
Roman picked up Virgil, setting him on his hip, and carrying him to Virgil's bedroom. He set him on his bed. "Is today a onesie-only type of day, or do you want overalls?"
Virgil entertained himself by playing with Roman's hair. "Not the hair, darling," Roman moved his hand, kissing it lightly. "Hmm," Roman pondered, opening his closet, pulling out a tie-dye black, purple, and white shirt, and a pair of black shortalls.
He helped Virgil get dressed, sending him to sit on the couch. He pulled Logan away next, who didn't have much little clothes. Roman conjured a dark blue onesie, pairing it with red shortalls, which had a yellow pocket on the front. He liked the primary color theme, so he made a plain red pacifier appear for the boy. He figured that Patton wouldn't mind the gifts, because Logan needed little stuff anyways.
"Okay, time to get you dressed," Roman moved to help him, and Logan pushed his hands away.
"Do it myself," he said, huffing and pushing him away.
"What's one of your rules?"
Logan tilted his head, waiting for Roman's response. "Let people help you without protesting. Now, lift your arms, little one."
Logan pouted at his instructions, but did so. When he wasn't protesting, Roman managed to get him dressed in just a few minutes. "T-thank yous, Ro!" Logan squealed excitedly upon looking at himself in the mirror, adjusting the new red pacifier in his mouth.
"No problem, Lo."
Roman helped him out to the commons, sitting him on the couch. Unlike Virgil, Logan seemed to be a little more verbal, and less clumsy, but it was still easy to tell that he was regressed to a young age. Out of all of them, Patton had to be the least verbal, and the most dependant one, even though they were all nearing the same age.
Roman found the boy's yellow onesie, and his white fluffy socks. "Is this good, Pat?"
Patton bounced in place, squealing and making grabby hands. Roman had a harder time helping him get dressed because it was harder for Patton to balance, and understand Roman's directions. But, in no time, he was in the onesie, and the socks, pulling a small blanket around his shoulders.
Now, all three of them sat on the couch, having not moved while Roman was out of the room. "What do you three babies want for breakfast?" he asked, and only Logan responded.
"Yogurt!"
Roman nodded, "That's doable. Is everyone okay with fruit and yogurt for breakfast?"
The other two replied with a nod, and Roman opted to leave them to watch cartoons while he got everything together. Patton whined, making grabby hands towards Roman. And Virgil seemed pouty and sad. "What's wrong with you two?"
"Cuddles?" Virgil asked hesitantly, and Patton made puppy-dog eyes, asking for the same thing.
"Well, I'm so proud of you for asking, that was very brave. I know you get scared to do that sometimes, Vee."
Virgil shyly smiled, accepting the praise. "But how do I cuddle both of these adorable babies while making breakfast?" he pretending to ponder, causing the boys to giggle. Logan stayed quiet, watching the TV silently.
"How about, we all go to the kitchen, and I'll do my absolute best to give you all the cuddles you need?"
The two nodded, and Logan didn't want to be alone, so he did too. Roman picked up Patton, and held Virgil's hand, while Logan trailed behind. Roman sat Patton in his seat, helped Virgil sit on the counter, and Logan climbed up to sit on the table.
"Hey, did I say you could sit on the table?"
"N-no, but Vee's on the counter!" Logan protested, huffing as if it would make his point more solid.
"Because I'm right here to stop him from falling. But, just go ahead and stay there. If you do anything though, you have to go back to sitting in a chair, alright?"
Logan nodded in agreement to these terms, swinging his feet slightly. "Cinnamon milk for the baby," Roman sat one of Patton's bottles in front of him a few minutes later, "Sippy cup full of orange juice for Little Lo," he handed Logan a sippy cup with a dark blue lid, "And a bottle of grape juice for Vee."
The latter two had no problem taking their pacifiers out of their mouths and drinking their juice, but Patton pouted, knowing that Logan always fed him his bottle to avoid him spilling it. Especially when he was this small.
"Awe, baby, lemme help you," Roman rushed to his side, taking his pacifier by the handle and lightly pulling it out of his mouth, helping the boy get a grip on the bottle. "I have to get back to making breakfast, but I won't get upset with you if you spill a bit, so I think you're good to do this yourself, hmm?"
Patton nodded hesitantly, not knowing how else to communicate. Roman prepared small bowls of yogurt for all of them, moving between the boys to help them all eat. He had to wipe all of their faces down, because surprisingly, babies are messy when they eat on their own.
Just as he placed all the bowls in the sink, and is getting ready to turn on a movie for them, there is a Thomas Alert on the tv.
"All of us? Fuck fuck fuck, what do I do?" he mumbled the curse words under his breath in a panic. All the boys had spoken about this, and they agreed they would tell Thomas about their regression when the time came where they had to.
He didn't know how he'd be able to avoid telling him. "Hey, babies? So remember how we talked about telling Thomas about everything?"
Virgil looked so scared, like he was gonna cry. They all confirmed, but they all looked scared. Logan not as much as the other too. "I think we're gonna have to do that now. I know you're scared, but I don't think we can avoid it."
Roman kissed Virgil's forehead, hugged Patton, and ruffled Logan's hair. "I'm gonna go up first, and then I'll call you guys up, okay?"
They confirmed, and Roman popped up in Thomas's living room. "Finally, you guys took forever! Wait..it's only you?"
"Hi, Thomas."
"Hey Roman, where's the others?"
"I have something to tell you before they come..."

Setting The Rules-Agere!Sides AU (pt.16)
"Okay, I get it, you guys are shy. Whatever, we are doing this," Roman spoke to everyone sitting around the kitchen table. Everyone had a piece of notebook paper, along with a small set of pens, markers, and highlighters. He wrote 'Baby Vee's Rules' at the top of his, and everyone had done the same for their respective littles.
"Why do we have to do this, we've been just "going with it" until now, why can't we keep going that way?" Logan asked, making sure to write Patton's name in a blue glitter pen.
"Because without actual rules there's no real boundaries for littles, and they get bratty-"
"speak for yourself," Virgil teased, and Roman rolled his eyes before continuing.
"And also, this will help when someone besides a littles main carer have to keep them, they'll know the rules and stuff," Roman side glanced at Logan, who sighed heavily in annoyance. He mumbled something along the lines of 'we already talked about this'.
"I think it's a good idea, we can also write out the reward systems, and smaller things about our littles that would be good to know," Patton spoke, and Roman nodded.
"Oh, and punishments for breaking the rules," Virgil looked at Roman, raising his eyebrow.
"Stop unnecessarily pointing out that I'm a brat, that is not the topic of conversation,"
"I don't know Ro, isn't making fun of you the topic of every conversation?" Logan said, and Virgil laughed.
"Hey, Lo. Don't make fun of him," Patton instructed, causing Logan to falter and pout before snapping out of it.
"Don't use your caregiver voice when I'm not little,"
"Oh, you caught me," Patton said sarcastically, and Logan chuckled.
"Okay, let's stop with the flirting and play fighting, and start this."
"I'll do Roman's first, because we all know his will be the strictest,"
Logan fake-coughed, "Brat."
"I will not hesitate to stab you with one of my many swords, right here, right now."
"First rule, no stabbing people," Virgil said playfully, bringing their attention back to making the rule lists. Virgil thought for a moment before writing.
"What did you write?" Roman quickly questioned, and Virgil chuckled.
"Listen to Virgil, he knows what's best. No throwing temper tantrums, stomping your foot, shouting, or ignoring me."
"That's not an issue," Roman scoffed, and Virgil rolled his eyes. "The punishment for that?"
"Either early bedtime, no sweets, or a timeout. How long the timeout is depends on what you did," Virgil shrugged, jotting down the punishment list on one side of the paper.
Roman crossed his arms, "We won't be needing any of that,"
"of course not, baby."
"You guys start, I'm gonna write a list of rules and I'll edit it after," Virgil motioned to the others for them to begin, and all three of the others began writing.
After about ten minutes, everyone had written out a list of a few rules and punishments for their little. "Okay, Roman. I'll read my rules and I want you to tell me if you agree to them."
Roman nodded, and Virgil began to read.
"Bedtime by ten when little, unless I make it earlier for punishment, or later for reward."
Roman didn't say anything, so Virgil continued, "Tell me when you're upset, and why. And no lying, or sneaking behind my back."
Roman agreed to these terms, "What're the rewards?" he questioned, slightly excited.
"New coloring book, late bedtime, and special movie nights."
"I think that's good for now, we can always add more later. Wanna hear mine?"
Virgil nodded, and Roman began reading. "Talk to me when you're upset, tell me what you're feeling and why."
Roman continued, "Always give me cuddles, it's just mandatory."
Virgil chuckled, "did you actually write that?", causing Roman to shake his head in response.
"If you need affection or attention, or feel lonely, tell me or any other non-little side in the home."
"Mhm," Virgil let him continue.
"Ask when you need something, instead of pretending that you don't need anything, even if you think it's unnecessary. Next, avoid taking out your emotions on other people, no shouting and being bratty because you don't know how to say that you're angry. And finally, no lying about your feelings. If you're feeling anything but happy, talk to me."
Virgil knew these are the things he struggled with most when regressed, but he agreed with the terms. "Punishments and rewards?"
"Timeout, and a talking-to from me-"
"Those are the only punishments for Virgil?" Logan questioned, cutting him off.
"Yeah, he doesn't do much. All he needs is a little push and lots of comfort and support, taking away his dessert or making him go to bed earlier will just make him feel guilty, without knowing how to improve,"
Logan shut up, and Roman proceeded to his rewards. "New stuffie, extra sweets, and lots of praise from me!" Roman sounded excited, and Virgil smiled. He liked Roman's list because it fit him well, with punishments that will work, and rewards that will make him happy.
"Okay, okay! My turn!" Patton brought attention to himself glancing at Logan before reading. "No hiding when you're little, or how little you feel. Always tell me when you're tiny."
Logan groaned, rolling his eyes, but agreeing nonetheless. "Ask for whatever you need, affection, attention, anything. I'd rather you ask and I say no then you wanting something and not even trying to get it."
"No taking things without asking though, you might want to be independent, but I still decide what's best for you when you're mentally three."
Logan chuckled, and Patton concluded his list, "Ask for help, and let me help you with things without whining."
"Punishments and rewards?" Logan questioned hesitantly.
"No punishments because I don't wanna make you sad, timeout or taking away something of yours only if you did something really bad, or just talking to you didn't work. And for rewards...cookies made my your's truly, unlimited bedtime stories until you get to sleepy, or a new pacifier."
Logan nodded, agreeing to these rules before reading Patton's. "Don't fight me when I try to put you to bed, or tell you to take a nap. No throwing things, baby blocks included."
Patton chuckled, hiding his face while Roman moved to playfully glare at him. Roman's forehead still had a small scrape from the edge of the letter 'A' block. "Please ask me before deciding that you're gonna color, and make sure that the paper you're using isn't a list of tasks for Thomas that I spent an hour writing out."
"I already apologized for that!" he squeaked, and Logan smirked.
"And finally, do your best to understand that I can't give you my undivided attention 100 percent off the time."
"Punishments?"
"Just scolding from me, and maybe a timeout-"
"And you got onto me for not giving Virgil strict punishments!" Roman scoffed, and Logan just shrugged his statement off.
"And rewards..new stuffie, cookies, or new toys."
"Caregivers can always add more rules to the list, and of course, use punishments and rewards when necessary, even if the rules aren't specified," Roman said, waving his hand, causing the papers to disappear, and reappear on the fridge.
"So we're all done?" Virgil asked, already preparing to get up. Roman nodded.
Everyone left the table, retreating to either their bedrooms, or the commons. The four of them were adjusting to this new aspect of their life, and they were quickly growing to love it.
But they hadn't considered something. If Virgil's theory was correct, and they all regressed because Thomas held onto his childhood, then all of the sides would be regressors.
Including the dark sides.
A/N: Like I said, “dee and remus? maybe.”

Cover for Us?-Agere!Sides AU (pt.10)
“Baby, please?”
Patton was sitting on his bed,swinging his legs as he sat. He wore striped shirt, with different pastel colors, with white shortalls. It was such a cute little outfit, and it went well with his kitten pacifier.
“B-but..” he pouted, huffing slightly. His paci hung off his shirt with a paci clip. He had been extremely little the whole day, he woke up big, and then slipped very quickly. Out of the three sides that had regressed, he seemed to have the easiest time staying in, and putting himself into, littlespace.
“but what, Pat? You’re a good baby, right?”
“Yeah, but don’t wanna,” he mumbled, using signature puppy-dog eyes. He was fighting against picking up his stuffies and toys, which were strewn among Logan’s bedroom floor.
“Pat, is Roman being a bad influence? Get up and do this for me, yeah?”
“But..what if my stuffies like the floor? And they don’t want me to move them?”
He shrugged playfully, and Logan couldn’t stop himself from smiling. “You’re adorable. But seriously, let’s get this done.”
Patton huffed, pouting again before getting off the bed. Logan crouched down, helping him gather the stuffed animals, and stacking up the baby books.
They put them in their places, and Logan praised him. “See! That wasn’t hard, you’re such a good baby,”
Patton blushed, smiling at the compliment. “Thank you, papa!”
“Go grab a stuffie, we’re gonna go and have a playdate with Roman. Doesn’t that sound fun?”
“We have playdates with Roman everyday, when we regress at da same time.. he complained.
“There’s no one else to hang out with,” Logan pointed out. They both heard the beep in the Mindscape commons, which meant that Thomas needed at least one of them.
“I hope this isn’t for you,” Logan mumbled. If Patton had to try to force himself to be big, it would be a disaster. Logan lead a worried looking Patton to the living room.
Virgil sighed, “it calls for all of us.”
Roman was wearing a red oversized sweater, with a white crown in the middle, and he held his red sippy cup. He pouted, but he used his powers to switch his clothes. “So that easily, you’re not little anymore?” Virgil questioned.
“I mean I’d like to be, but no,” Roman shrugged.
Patton pulled on Logan’s hand, whimpering, “can’t be big,” he mumbled.
Logan looked at the other two, “make up an excuse as to why we can’t be there?”
“He calls for all of us when he usually only needs help from a specific side, I’ll cover for you guys,” Virgil nods, him and Roman popping out.
About twenty minutes later, Patton was all changed, his voice normal. “I can’t just skip out on helping Thomas, “ he sighed, setting his stuffed animal down on Logan’s bed.
“You were regressed, darling. It’s alright. Come on, we can pop in now,” Logan assured. Patton nodded, and they popped out.
“Logan! Patton! How was your dateee?” Thomas greeted in a sing-songy voice.
Logan glared at Virgil, and Patton at Roman. “It was great,” Patton said begrudgingly. Thomas didn’t even know that the sides could date each other.
--
“so you had to say we were on a date-”
“I didn’t know how else to cover both of you, it seemed suspicious!”
“You could’ve like, come up with another lie, or something.”
“You should be thankful I helped at all.”
“Oh yes, thank you Virgil. For telling Thomas we were going on a date and embarrassing us.”
“You know you love me.”
“Of course.”

Fussy Baby-Agere!Sides AU (pt.20)
“They’re both really, really tiny!” Roman was basically squealing at the adorable sight he saw when he entered Virgil’s room. Patton was curled up, in little clothes, next to an obviously also regressed, Virgil.
“I’m assuming that Patton woke up little, because he was quite regressed, and found that Virgil was the only one awake. And Virgil was regressed too,” Logan concluded, following Roman to Virgil’s bedroom.
“Dada!” Virgil made grabby hands towards Roman, and Roman came over and hugged him. “Lil Pat came to my room, said he had scawy nightmare! So I stayed big as I could to protect him from da monsters!”
Logan and Roman’s hearts simultaneously melted, “You did a very good job protecting him, young knight. But, now Logan is here to scare off the nightmare-causing monsters, so you can be as little as you want.”
“Good..feel really tiny,” Virgil crawled to the edge of the bed, swinging his feet off the edge. Logan picked up Patton.
“We should go put you in a new onesie, and get you some new juice. How does bath time sound?”
Patton only babbled, seeming quite bubbly, giggling lightly. Logan carried him out, leaving the other two by themselves. “You take a shower every night, so I think we’re safe to hold off on  a bath with you. Let get you out of those big boy clothes, hmm?”
Virgil nodded, “feel really small, onesie only p'eas?”
Roman moved to open his closet, pulling a white onesie off the hanger. “Whatever you’d like, baby.”
This onesie had metal button snaps on the crotch and shoulders. “Dada..should probably tell you somethings..” Virgil was blushing lightly and he seemed to be very shy about whatever he was about to say.
“What is it, Vee?” Roman set the onesie out, instructing Virgil to remove his hoodie.
“When m’ dis small..wear pullups, have accidents sometimes,” he mumbled lightly, and Roman’s face softened. Even when Virgil was on the littler side, it still wasn’t this young of a regression. He was in a much younger headspace than usual.
“Awe, baby, why didn’t you tell me before?”
“Never been dis lil wif you before,” Virgil tilted his head lightly, still blushing.
“Well, there’s nothing wrong with that, and it’s good you told me. Where do you keep the pullups?”
Seperate from where he hid his other little stuff, the pullups were placed inside of a box, under a few hoodies in his closet. Roman located them, pulling out a slip-on pullup covered in a pastel baby block design. “How old are you, Vee?”
“Vewy small..want baba n cuddles!” he kicked his feet lightly, and Roman chuckled.
“You can have all the cuddles in the world once you’re all dressed, baby boy.”
Roman was quick to undress him, but once he was in his underwear, he was hesitant. Virgil covered his face with his hands, and Roman noted that he wasn’t the only embarrassed one. He got to pullup on him, instructing him to lie back after pulling the white onesie over his head. He snapped it at the crotch, and the baby was all dressed.
Virgil whined softly, and Roman didn’t know what to do. “What is it?”
Virgil only tilted his head, whining softly, bouncing in place. “Ababa!” he spoke as if his babbles should have made complete sense to his carer. Roman thought, before it clicked in his head.
“Pacifier? Is that what you want?” Roman found his little plastic box of his pacifiers. Virgil clapped his hands.
“urpel!” he squealed, causing Roman to chuckle again.
“P-ur-ple,” he sounded out the word, trying to get VIrgil to repeat, but the baby only tilted his head.
“Urpel! Urpel!”
Roman nodded, not pushing him to pronounce the word correctly, just pulling out the pastel purple pacifier. Virgil opened his mouth and made an ‘ah!’ sound when Roman approached the edge of the bed. Roman gave it to him, ruffling his hair. Virgil seemed to be happy, just slightly fussy, and less verbal. Roman was willing to deal with it, he thought his baby was quite adorable, no matter what.
After breakfast, Virgil sat alone, surrounded by stuffed animals on the couch. Logan was nearby, and Patton entertained himself with baby blocks. Roman had left the room only seconds ago to go to the bathroom, and Virgil’s eyes were welling up with tears. He sniffled, and Logan looked over.
“No, no, no. Don’t be sad, what’s wrong buddy?”
“Want dada!” he whined, crying loudly around his pacifier.
“You’re quite fussy, aren’t you?” Logan pulled him closer, trying to console him.
He was still crying by the time Roman came back about two minutes later, “What happened to my baby?”
Roman sat on the other side of Virgil, pulling him onto his lap and bouncing him on his knee. “You left and he just started crying. I think you have a little fussy baby on your hands.”
Roman shushed Virgil, comforting him until his cries turned into soft babbles. “Why were you crying, baby?”
“left me, dada. Miss you,” he mumbled.
“I only went to the bathroom, no need to cry. I would never leave you, yeah?”
Virgil nodded. As the day went on, Roman quickly found that he couldn’t leave Virgil alone, or else he’d cry. Whenever he needed or wanted anything, he’d whine and cry until Roman figured out what it was. He didn’t talk quite as much, and when he did, the words were pronounced incorrectly.
“Yesterday, wasn’t he sad because one of Thomas’s friends stopped talking to him? Maybe him being sad is what made him regress so little, and made him so fussy?” Logan offered, and Roman agreed quickly. He held Virgil on his lap, bouncing him on his knee, because whenever he stopped, Virgil whined and pouted.
“But that’s okay, I can deal with a fussy baby. I’ll just have to do my best to cheer you up, hmm?” Roman kissed his cheek, causing him to giggle and scrunch his nose.
Virgil whined softly, “What is it this time, little one?”
“Baba?”
He nodded, thanking Logan quietly when he handed over the milk-filled bottle. Roman proceeded to held him drink the liquid, still bouncing him lightly. Virgil whined again when the bottle was empty, and Roman watch him rub at his eyes. “Does baby bat need a nap?” he teased.
“Dada sleep too?” he mumbled, and Roman nodded.
“Of course,” he needed it, he was exhausted from making sure Virgil wasn’t crying, and managing all of his needs. He truly didn’t mind, but it was tiring.
Within a few minutes, the two were cuddling in Roman’s bed, covered by the 'fluffy blankies!’ Virgil loved.
Roman loved Baby Vee, just as much as he loved Big Virgil, and Toddler Vee. But while Baby Vee was the most cuddly, he was also the most needy. But, Roman didn’t mind.
That’s what caregivers are for, right?
A/N: Cute lil oneshot that doesn’t quite fit into the main plot. Ig you can say this takes place around the point I am in the story, so consider it ‘canon’ that Virgil wears pullups when he’s Extremely Smol

Note
So I had an idea about little Ro while reading some of your stories. Imagine if one day he’s little and instead of being all hyper and goofy like usual, he’s super quiet and just settles down and doesn’t say much. So the others get super worried and try to figure out what’s wrong, since they think he’s super upset about something. Finally, they realize that nothing is actually wrong, he’s just really sleepy and wants to snuggle up on the couch for a nap.
A/N: I just wanna say that this is an adorable idea and if you got anything else for me PLEASE send more prompts, Cute Prompt Anon
Calm n Cuddly-Agere!Sides AU (pt.21)
“He’s acting…weird..” Virgil stood in the doorway of the kitchen, glancing over at Roman on the couch, who was more calm than usual, watching cartoons. Roman was the type of little that was really goofy, and hyper almost all the time, he never “settled down”. Yeah, you could turn on a disney movie to get him to sit in one place, but he’d still be talkative and bouncy. And yet, he just sat there on the couch.
He also seemed more tired than usual, he had basically thrown a fit when Virgil tried to get him out of his pajamas that morning. He still sat in the red pajamas now. But even his temper tantrum was less bratty than usual. Virgil noticed that he didn’t stomp his foot, or shout, he just quietly said no. And when Virgil pushed it, he just pouted and kept repeating that he didn’t want to. Usually, he would of shouted, or maybe even thrown something to the floor. Virgil gave in and let him stay in his pajamas.
He didn’t want to play after breakfast, he requested cartoons. When they played movies and cartoons in the morning, Roman still played. He enjoyed multitasking in that sense. “You think he’s sad about something? It seems like he’s upset?” Patton and Logan stood so that they were in a half circle that blocked the kitchen doorway.
“It does, it would be different if he was usually like this. But he’s not, he’s always energetic and this doesn’t make much sense. He’s kind of acting like you when you’re little, Virgil,” Logan observed. Virgil nodded, this really wasn’t normal for Roman.
“I don’t know, I’m worried though. Did one of us do something yesterday that upset him? He left his bedroom light on, and I don’t think he actually fell asleep until pretty late last night,” Virgil pointed out.
“If he went to bed late, then how come he woke up at usual time?” Patton questioned.
“When someone gets used to waking up at a certain time, they will tend to continue to get up at that time, even if they didn’t go to sleep at the usual time,” Logan explained.
“So he got only a little bit of sleep, and woke up little? I wonder what kept him up,” Virgil thought, trying to figure it out.
“Well, you stay up late without an actual reason. He might not of had anything specific that kept him up, he probably got sidetracked and started doing something, losing track of time,” Logan offered the explanation that seemed to make the most sense.
“Wait…I think he was working on ideas for Thomas. Thomas, right now, is planning tons of videos with ideas that "came to him late at night”. Roman probably just had a lot of late night ideas, that he wanted to write out and have Thomas work on today,“ Logan and Virgil liked this conclusion.
"So he just worked hard last night, didn’t go to bed until late, and he woke up little?” Virgil asked, and the other two nodded.
“Vee?” Roman whined from the couch, “And Lo, and Pat?”
All three of the men looked to the kid-like trait on the couch. “What is it, Ro?” Virgil asked in a soft voice.
“Could you please watch the movie with me?” he bit on his lip lightly, and Virgil nodded, making his way to sit in the corner seat on the couch. Roman scooted over towards him, biting his lip again nervously as the other two sat on the other side of him.
Virgil looked at him, “Y'know you can ask for whatever you need, right?” Roman nodded.
“Cuddles?” he mumbled, and Virgil pulled him closer. He wrapped his arm around him, and Roman cuddled into his side, burying his head in his chest.
“A certain little one didn’t follow his bedtime rules last night, did he?” Virgil teased. He knew Roman wasn’t little, so he didn’t have to follow the rules, but he wanted to tease him. Roman shook his head, still quite quiet.
Patton was quick to get up and gather blankets, throwing Roman’s red fluffy one over the two of them. “I’m sleepy..want cuddles from everyone,” he admitted, and Virgil chuckled.
“You’re so cute, but I don’t know how all of us can give you cuddles at once,”
“Like this, Virgil,” Patton intervened, motioning for Roman to get up. He did, and Patton scooted closer to Virgil, having Roman sit back down between them. He got comfortable, Virgil and Patton wrapping their arms around his shoulders.
“So do I just get left out of this cuddly adorableness?” Logan fake-gasped, pretending to be shocked, crossing his arms and rolling his eyes. Roman pouted, and Virgil stuck his tongue out.
“Only nice caregivers get to cuddle with the cute kid,” Virgil teased.
Logan playfully glared at him, causing Roman to giggle. “Lay down, this way,” Patton instructed.
“There’s not enough room..”
“With your head on our laps, idiot,” Virgil said, and Roman hit his arm, lightly and playfully.
“That’s mean, daddy!”
“Do as I say, not as I do,” Virgil ruffled his hair. Logan laid down, laying against Patton’s legs, and his head in Roman’s lap. They all got comfortable, and they were all snuggling against Roman in some way. He was quite affectionate, playing with Logan’s hair, and shifting slightly to cuddle against Patton and Virgil at the same time.
It wasn’t long until he was asleep, the other three cooing at him. Logan attempted to get up, but Patton pushed him down. “By little law, you are not allowed to move if a tiny human requests affection and falls asleep,”
Virgil chuckled, “It’s true, move, and he could wake up from lack of affection,” Logan glared at him and he only stuck his tongue out again. He sighed and shifted to watch the disney movie on the screen. Soon, they all fell asleep, not awaking until a few hours later, when the now well-rested Roman was his hyper bouncy self again.
The quiet, cuddly, and calm sleepy Ro was gone, and back came the hyper, goofy, and bratty Ro. He was playing, talking about anything and everything, and being bratty over tiny things for absolutely no reason.
Things were back to normal.
