Ode To L’Manberg: My Unfinished Symphony

I’m back with the second work in my series presenting story of L’Manberg as written in my main DSMP au (Symphony of Gods and Dreamers). The lore dumps I have posted about this au can be found under the Zorishy’s Bursona Lore tag.

This poster covers the events of the Manberg vs. Pogtopia arc.

AU specific details in this poster:

Fundy has been aged down

Sally burned the flag and delivered Fundy’s “You had a dream and I followed it” line

Tubbo escaped the Manberg festival without being executed

Technoblade had no involvement in L’Manberg during this arc, only Pogtopia

Dream also had no involvement in this arc

Dream already had the revival book before the events of the server

Wilbur was badly injured in the explosion of L’Manberg and Phil killed him out of mercy

The button in the final control room was armed with TNT

The button Wilbur pressed to blow up L’Manberg was the one in the final control room

Why is SBI filled with dirt? Like, SAND Duo, BEDROCK Bros, EMERALD Duo, DIRTY Crimeboys. All incredibly ground-themed/adjacent at the very least. And then you look at Phil and Tommy and it's suddenly the angel duo??? completely off-theme. Get that air elemental crap out of here we are a ROCK and MUD family.

Anyway Phil and Tommy have that bit about Tommy eating mud. I petition to have them be Mud Duo as is only proper and good. We most restore balance.

I JUST THOUGHT OF A HEADCANON FOR DSMP:

So, you know how C! Phil killed C! Wilbur, right? And there were a lot of "But Phil could have tried to talk him out of it and help him get better" which I understand. BUT, I just thought about something:

Phil saw how far gone Wilbur was and how adamant he was about dying and didn't know what to do. He didn't know how to help Wilbur because helping someone that far gone is very complicated and he didn't know how he would be able to help. So, he decided to grant Wilbur's final wish and kill him, and in Phil's mind, he was bringing Wilbur to his mother, The Goddess of Death. Kristin is one of the people Phil can always rely on and he trusted that she would be able to guide Wilbur in the afterlife, and, at the very least, save his soul since Phil didn't know how else to help. He thought that Wilbur and Kristin would be able to talk in the afterlife and Wilbur could heal in a place that isn't chaotic with constant wars. However, he didn't know that the death system was messed with(by DreamXD) to where the members of DSMP are sent to Limbo, not to the Goddess of Death. Phil didn't know this and unknowingly sent his son to what would/should have been an eternity of complete isolation, his own personal hell.

I loved this stream a lot

q!Wilbur was a bit of a dick and honestly q!Phil had every right to stay mad at him but he DIDN'T AND THEY APOLOGIZED AND TALKED IT OUT AND AND. But of course what I ended up drawing was the drama 😍

I just realized if Wilbur and Phil actually aren’t related on the qsmp that makes the whole “we met each other on the train and decided we were family” thing that much funnier. Like. A literal rockstar decides he wants a father figure. He finds the nearest British man, his comfort Brit, and decides this old man can be his father. The old man is a former war lord. The old man canonically took over the world and gave it back just cause. The old man is so old he has seen civilizations rise and fall and can’t even tell the passage of time. The old man is Death’s angel and is known to have relations with SEVERAL gods and deities.

And Phil was like “yeah sure i can be your dad”
