Maybe it's just that I'm aro so it doesn't affect me that much, and I don't see this said as often anymore so it's not like it matters, but every now and then I think back to my early OM days and seeing people complain about Leviathan "friendzoning" MC... it feels so sad to me. Like, that's her thing...

I do get that this is a romance game, sure, but I think for a character like Levi who's never really experienced ANY sort of serious closeness with another person, and holds the idea of a close friendship in high regard (the way she talks about Henry and the Lord of Shadow?!) – being at Best Friend status is maybe the highest honor she could give you!!! Thou shalt not take it for granted!!!

Ooc; I really tried to change my game to the chinese dub because some characters are portrayed more accurately to the idea I have of them in that language, or, at least, some voices seem to fit a few characters better, in my opinion. But do you wish to know why I am not capable of fully making the change from the english dub to chinese dub and committing to it?

I…Need to draw Junpei and the Gabumon from the school episode more. My friends are talking about a cool idea they found on Reddit and honestly those two deserve more love omg. I think one of my biggest complaints from Frontier is how they could have given Junpei and Izumi a single episode with him at the end. I know they couldn’t care less about them in the final episodes. The attention all went to Tomoki (2 eps for him???) , Kouichi, Kouji and Takuya (ofc). Junpei and Izumi got 0 after the Trailmon episode and it makes me cry, shout, roll on the floor. I hate Frontier so freaking much.

Ehm, whatever, what I love from that episode is how Izumi was supposed to have her spotlight by bonding with Tsunomon. INSTEAD, Junpei ended up bonding with him much more, worrying about his loneliness and eventually also being the one having the initiative to encourage him to take action.

Izumi was always like, “I can understand how he feels”, “Let’s not annoy him”, “You don’r understand A THING, Junpei”, whereas Junpei just uses his, questionable lol, ways to move the situation forward.

SO YES, I need to draw them. I need to plunge in my silliness much more. I NEED TO FILL 15+ YEARS OF NOTHINGNESS IN THE JUNPEI TAG. I NEED TO MAKE IT EXPLODE.

Finally getting around to starting arc 2 of The Wizard the Witch and the Wild One and I extremely stand by my description of it as EXU: Calamity meets Studio Ghibli. It is fascinating to me the ways in which the circle Suvi's parents were involved in sounds like the Ring of Brass, and the problems of the citadel could map onto the problems of Avalir (Minus the volcanic ending of course). This has me thinking about the experiences of Cerrit's and Xerxus's children, hearing about what happened to Avalir in the future, perhaps from their friendly local witch apprentice, while the world falls apart around them, still doing their best to be kind.
