Random Doctor Who Facts You Might Not Know, Part 2
While attending Jago and Litefoot's knighting ceremony, the Sixth Doctor had to go in disguise because of the grudge Queen Victoria had against him, which was started by the Tenth Doctor.
Once, the TARDIS jumped a time track, leaving the Tenth Doctor at Powell Estate for a week. During this time, he lived with Mickey.
A team called the "Plastic Surgeons," comprised of the Tenth Doctor, Rose Tyler, and a lone Auton, won a Mannequin Challenge competition.
The Shopkeeper from the SJAs may have been an incarnation of the Corsair according to RTD.
The War Chief once had an aborted regeneration, which left him deformed, his past and future selves joined together. He had a conjoined dual skull and an extraordinary set of limbs.
The Third Doctor took Jo back in time in an attempt to kill that same would-be-dictator baby but also failed to do so after seeing his Sixth try the same (some of you already know where I am going with this).
After being irradiated on Metebelis III, the Third Doctor was stuck in the time vortex for ten years, dying very slowly.
Ian and Barbara's son became a pop singer.
The Eleventh Doctor once traveled with a robotic copy of a Tyrannosaurus rex named Kevin. His tiny arms made him unable to help pilot the TARDIS.
Kamelion and the TARDIS had a child together.
Missy killed the incarnations that came both before her (Saxon Master) and also after her (the Lumiat).
The Venusian Lullaby sounds like God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen because Jago and Litefoot sang it on Venus to soothe the Shanghorn.
The First Doctor caused High Tutor Albrecht to regenerate by experimenting with a perigosto stick and a temporal feedback loop.
The First Doctor rigged a drinks machine to produce mercury during his time at the Academy to experiment with, nearly causing his professor to regenerate.
The First Doctor's dorm room had posters in it and became timelocked after an experiment gone wrong. No one ever figured out how to get rid of the timelock.
Basically, the Doctor was a menace even as a student, but everyone knew that.

love love love how u pulled some frames from ur older art for god rest ye merry gentlemen !! it was so cool watching it and going ‘oh hey i remember that one :D’
It's fun that you see it that way cause on my side of things I simply like to recycle art if it's already been drawn and i need to draw the same thing for something else,,, it saves time!

The Facets of Rafal as Music
Since I've incidentally done a music post for Japeth, I've decided to do one for Rafal as well!
In certain contexts, I believe syncopation is villainous. I'm not an expert, but I believe I've identified the musical pattern I associate with Fala.
Syncopation in music is the type of rhythm that goes back and forth in a certain way, like skipping stones or a pendulum motion, but it's more irregular and off-beat.
Alternatively, you can think of the syncopation parts as the harmony or the walking baseline of the music. It very much evokes footsteps and the sly, trickster archetype in my opinion. There are alternating long-short!, long-short! parts, "delayed" and sustained. And I feel like it's capable of mimicking an uneven, doddery walk, shuffling along, like Fala's limp in Fall. And music like this is used in cinema for this very purpose. I oftentimes picture one heavier foot being dragged forward.
If the images I used weren't clear, here's an actual definition for reference:
"In music, syncopation is a variety of rhythms played together to make a piece of music, making part or all of a tune or piece of music off-beat. More simply, syncopation is 'a disturbance or interruption of the regular flow of rhythm': a 'placement of rhythmic stresses or accents where they wouldn't normally occur.'"
Since this is somewhat of an abstract concept, it may help to listen to some examples I've found to illustrate my point with. At the very least, if I've misidentified this pattern, all these songs have a similar vibe, at least during certain excerpts of them.
Tip: try listening to the sound beneath the main melody of the songs, not the changing, overall variable parts but the stable, underlying constant, as Rafal is mostly constant and faithful, which works for him symbolically. Basically, I want to draw your attention towards the lower parts, the baseline, like I said previously—I'm not sure how to describe it exactly, but for a musical term, you could also call it the accompaniment.
"Good Omens Opening Title" (The original version. Specifically, listen to the heavier, less angelic, more apocalyptic parts.)
"Good Omens Opening Title" first piano version (Easier to hear the pattern with one instrument and less complexity.)
"Good Omens Opening Title" second piano version (Even blunter and more abrupt than the first piano version. Jarring and more "firm." Must be something about the lack of a slur, if it's not outright staccato. It's the notation, the "articulation" here, if you recognize my meaning.)
"The Entertainer" in a minor key (Chances are you're heard this one in a jollier, major key before as it's a popular piece. This darker version I chose is slower, so it's easier to see the pattern.)
"The Entertainer" in a minor key again (This is played at a faster tempo, but it's still worth the listen to me since it aptly captures the darkness and drama Rafal lives for.)
"Chim Chim Cher-ee" (It's easiest to see the footsteps plainly in the blue bars.)
"Chim Chim Cher-ee" (In this second version, you can see the pianist's hands bounce back and forth, kind of like clockwork at one point. Again, evidence of the pattern.)
"God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen" (Not jaunty enough to truly qualify as syncopation, but hopefully, you get the idea. See the second version linked just below this one for the actual syncopation, to compare.)
A movie clip with a calliope (Listen to the background music from [31:29-32:05]. The song is still "God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen." However, this version has a more distinct syncopation to it. Sure, it's lighter, airier, and played at a faster tempo, but you can still observe the same pattern.)
"Below the Surface" piano version (The walking pattern yet again, very prominent, done with a heavy hand. Also, the stakes seem to rise as the song progresses.)
In summary, while I usually imagine that Rafal's hypothetical villain theme would be far smoother, especially in regards to his seduction of others, Fala's theme would be jauntier, by virtue of its being a disguise and there being more mischief wrapped up in it by default. It'd go clunkity-lunkity, like some kind of a gremlin figure while Rafal's usual leitmotif would be trance-like, hypnotic, mesmerizing, something with spades of tension and build-up.
My examples for Rafal, not Fala, are:
"The Carnival of the Animals - Aquarium"
"The Nutcracker, Op. 71, Act I, Scene 1: No. 6, Clara and the Nutcracker" (Start at [3:58]. It's like he's luring you in.)
"Le Banquet Céleste" for Organ
"Piano Concerto No. 3 in C Major, Op. 26 - III. Allegro ma non troppo" (Start listening to the smoother part at about [2:27]. There is downwards motion and swelling.)
"Serenade for Strings in E Major" (Only the darker, winding parts towards the beginning and end are relevant.)
The quality to some of these music choices I'd like to point out is how there's usually swaying. It's tenuous, wavering—there's undulation and a general air of unease, instability, unpredictability, and yet, it's still a bit like the pendulum motion from before, just looser and loftier, less grounded than Fala is.
Essentially, music like this tends to remind me of Rafal and of characters who function like him. It can be ominous or steady, methodical foot-stepping that's constant and regular, like pacing around a tower chamber, steepling fingers, being locked in thought, crafting schemes.
Thus, I rest my case: syncopation, slurring (the smooth quality), oscillation (the wavering quality) and "evil" go hand in hand, as something sinister is audibly afoot.
Any thoughts, anyone?

Do you want to hear me talk about The Animatic? No? Well that sucks because I'm talking about it anyway.
I don't know what made me suddenly want to make a full length animatic, but the urge descended upon me and I did anyway, despite my horrible horrible track record.
●~●~●~●~●
I'd actually had a couple voice clips cut out since July (because that's when I started Jealousy), but the bulk of it was done 15/16 August. And! This song (Pentatonix's God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen) is actually the second one I tried piecing together.
The first song was AURORA's Runaway! I swapped songs pretty early on because
Runaway was 4 minutes long and God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen was 2.5 minutes long
3 minutes in, I ran out of voice clips.
I used a lot more voice clips for Runaway than God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen, not just because it's longer but also because the song is significantly slower and thus easier to fit voice clips in it. Not just more voice clips, but the voice clips were longer too.
(God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen had 9 source clips. Runaway had 15.)
Hindsight is 20/20 though, because due to the slow-paced nature of Runaway in comparison to God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen would have resulted in far less frames needing to be drawn, or precise cuts or-
Well, you get the point.
●~●~●~●~●
I have two files for this project! Yes, it was pure Medibang. The reason for the two files is that there were so many layers that the first file was lagging to hell and back and I couldn't even draw a straight line because of how bad it was.
●~●~●~●~●
This was the actual first frame I ever drew for this! If it looks familiar, it's because I was mirroring this. It's my first ever fanart for QSMP.
At the time of starting this, I had maybe 3 pieces of QSMP fanart and was super uncertain of what I was doing, so it definitely happened again - mirroring a piece of fanart into an animatic frame.
●~●~●~●~●
This was the first time I ever drew Cucurucho. I had an idea and it was simple to execute but over time I forgot about the voice box.
This, on the other hand, was the last frame I ever drew. The Cucurucho designs are largely the same, with some minor differences (bigger eyes, more stitches, no voice box, thinner tube).
●~●~●~●~●
This was the first time I successfully drew Cellbit. Emphasis on successfully because even this one bit took me forever. I never really had to redraw any frame once I drafted it, but this. This took me 5 redraws. It was my greatest nightmare.
●~●~●~●~●
I've said it before but these two frames side by side?
It was my favourite part of the animatic for the longest time. Hands down, no debate, I adored it.
●~●~●~●~●
You may notice that most frames had the subjects coloured in a lighter colour, but a couple didn't. Some were intentional, to better show off lighting and backgrounds and depth and stuff.
Some.... were not.
(Oops.)
●~●~●~●~●
Some of my other favourite frames include:
Which would have been better if I hadn't messed up the shading.
Because this was so many characters. And Cellbit.
And the Bagheras, which I really had a ton of fun drawing near the end. Because these two were drawn at the end. The same day, actually. The first one did have a draft already, though.
●~●~●~●~●
Some little details:
Between these two frames, BBH and Cellbit pop up in the background. There's a flash of white immediately after, which is supposed to be the camera flash when BBH takes a photo.
••●••
Jaiden (and Roier) in the early scenes have perfectly normal eyes.
This changes immediately after Bobby's death, albeit rather subtly.
By the time the beginning of the Cucurucho tasks rolls around, the shadows under their eyes have had time to develop and become more prominent.
••●••
Roier does a little rooftop espionage.
••●••
Similar/Similarly located scenes have similarly coloured backgrounds!
It's most prominent with Bobby Fields' Rose/Lavender palette, with a few (not all) examples.
(The words associated with this last image are actually from when Jaiden got stuck on a ladder on her way down from the sunset tree while trying to chase Cucurucho. I just found that funny.)
But the colour thing is also key with Baghera and Jaiden's conversation with Pomme's non-canon death.
The colours used for 1) the gradient background 2) the lineart and 3) the subject base colour are identical in both images, even if they're a third of the video apart.
●~●~●~●~●
Anyway, this was made with Medibang and iMovie, even if I do have Krita and DaVinci Resolve and FlipaClip and-
.........Yeah.
Tried and true basics, I guess.
(Krita and DaVinci both cause my laptop to overheat. I struggle with Krita so incredibly badly, even though I have friends who swear by it.)
●~●~●~●~●
Also I maxed out the image count on this post.

Baby It’s Cold Outside Chapter 3
A/N: Chapter 3 is up.
It was silent between them.
It wasn’t that awkward silence where you fill it with small talk back and forth, but the comfortable kind. The quiet you get when you’re in your room, comfortably lying on your bed as you watch a movie or listen to music. Tyler’s hands had been tight on the wheel; his knuckles white into the first four hours of their trip. He looked back every mile until he was sure his father wasn’t following them. The barista was surprised his boyfriend hadn’t picked up on his nervous energy. Y/N could smell fear, thanks to his vampire senses, and could hear the slight change in someone’s heart, so Tyler figured either Y/N didn’t notice his uneasiness or he was waiting for the right moment to catch Tyler and confront him on his lies.
Tyler's stomach did knots at that. God, he hoped not. He could handle his father hating him, but Y/N? He would die if he did. The sound of Y/N’s singing brought Tyler out of his thoughts as he watched him sing to the radio song of God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen, but he changed the words to them. Probably, the version he sang with his own family.
“It's Christmas, and the graveyard folk has all come to play. They're going to make a fuss and walk around causing disarray.” Tyler began to chuckle. His first laugh in a while. His boyish features were displayed as Y/N looked at him and frowned. “What’s so funny, Puppy? Aren’t those the words?”
“The words are much different, but I like your version better. Sounds more fun.”
“It is. Remind me to teach you the full song later,” Y/N said.
Tyler smirks. “Deal.”
Y/N looks at his boyfriend as he has his eyes glued onto the road. His smooth skin and his golden brown curls, along with his blue eyes, were dressed in flannel over a white shirt with a brown jacket. Y/N’s heart skipped a beat. His mother told him that her undead heart came to life the moment she met his father, and Y/N wondered if that was the same feeling that he was experiencing right at this moment. A boyfriend who was half normie, half Hyde. His family would be so proud of him. Tyler's head turned towards Y/N, who looked away. Tyler smiled once again. Busted. “You were checking me out, weren't you, Y/N?”
Y/N blushed. “No…”
“You were!” Tyler cried. “What were you thinking about, mmh? Something naughty?” He couldn’t help how his smile grew as Y/N squirmed underneath Tyler’s teasing stare. “Perhaps, kissing out in the snow? Or maybe handjobs underneath the Christmas tree?” Tyler was surprised those words just came out of his mouth. He was never one for dirty talk. I guess his Hyde side was shining through and through.
The Munster boy looks at him, red in the face, but he smiles. “Sorry, I just forgot how beautiful you are. You’re like those paintings in museums. Absolute perfection. I’m lucky to have you as my boyfriend.” Tyler’s heart did not skip at being called Y/N’s ‘boyfriend.’ Nope, not one bit. The way it rolled off Y/N’s so smoothly that you just had to believe that they belonged together. It just made sense, but at the same time, it couldn’t. Not because of Y/N, no, this was all Tyler’s fault. He couldn’t give Y/N his everything like the other male had him. The curly-haired boy couldn’t even stand up to his father and say Y/N was his boyfriend with pride because he was scared of the repercussions of letting his homophobic dad know that he was very much not of the straight guy variety.
Y/N deserved someone happily out of the closet instead of a closeted, psychotic, curly-haired bartisa with daddy issues. Y/N’s probably told his family about him, and Tyler’s not sure if he’s ready for the expectations or rejections. The young man was so much into his head that he barely registered that Y/N was calling his name. “Uh, What….?”
Tyler turned to see Y/N looking at him, all traces of a blush gone as he glanced at the barista with concerned but hopeful eyes. “I said can we stop somewhere to get something to eat? I’m hungry.” The supplies of soda and chips could only take them so far into their journey, and Tyler was surprised that Y/N hadn't piped up early to ask to stop to get some food. He felt bad. He should have asked. What kind of gentleman doesn't ask if someone is hungry? His face reddened with embarrassment. “Sorry, Y/N, I should have asked if you were hungry sooner.”
“It’s fine. My fault for not asking before, but you looked so insistent on getting to New Jersey that I didn’t want to bother you.”
Tyler flushed even more at that. Y/N did notice Tyler’s off-putting nature in his efforts to get as far away from Jericho as he could, and in the process, he disregarded his boyfriend’s feelings and needs. “I’m sorry. Shit, that was stupid of me.”
“No, it wasn’t,” Y/N said. “You were probably eager to get out of Jericho for a while. It’s okay, Ty. No need to beat yourself over that.”
The sheriff’s son cleared his throat. “Right, so is there a place in mind?” He looked at their gage, and they were close to running on empty. They needed to put some gas in soon. Otherwise, Y/N would be a vampire speeding them the rest of the way. It was a funny thought that plagued the corners of Tyler’s mind. Seeing Y/N caring for Tyler's bridal style as he speeded them to his home in New Jersey. “Well, there’s a diner near a gas station if that’s okay with you?” Y/N looks at his phone’s GPS. Tyler nods his head. “Yeah, that’s perfect. Kill two birds with one.”
Y/N frowns. “A stone? Oh, no, no, no. If you want to kill birds, grandpa says you should use a throwing ax or arrows. More effective.”
Tyler laughed.
Once Tyler guided his truck into the parking lot of the Silver Diner, he and Y/N got out as the snow lightly clung to their jackets and on top of Tyler’s curls and Y/N’s red beanie that he did not steal from Tyler’s room. The door chimed like Christmas bells as they opened it and were greeted by the old-fashioned classic American diner as the jukeboxes played Christmas songs. The place looked like something out of the sitcom Happy Days. With its pink fluorescent lights all around the booths that were red in leather, with miniature jukeboxes at every table. It was awesome.
They walk towards the booths as customers, which consist of regulars, truckers, and tourists, stare at them as they walk past them. Tyler knew why they were staring. Their judgment gazes were the same ones as back in Jericho. Hateful. Fear filled. He briefly wonders if they would look at him the same way if they knew he wasn't one of them. If Y/N noticed their judgmental stares, he didn’t say anything as a waitress approached them. “For two? You and your…. umm… brother want a counter seat or a booth?”
Y/N looked at her, an exciting shine in his eyes. “He’s my boyfriend, ma’am. Not my brother.”
“Oh, sorry about that. I just assumed that.” She looks at Y/N’a green hues. “That’s some mighty fine Christmas-colored hair you got there.”
“Thank you. It’s the hair I was born with,” Y/N smiles as the waitress frowns in confusion.
“Booth will be great, right?” Tyler asks in a hurry to avoid the awkward stares their waitress is giving Y/N.
“Yeah, sounds great!”
They were led through the aisles, and people stared at them as they passed. Tyler put a protective hand on Y/N’s shoulders until he slid into one side of the booth. Tyler slid into the other as he looked over the menu. So many different choices to make as he looks up at Y/N as he’s deep in thought about the food he wants to order. The barista was surprised to learn that Y/N doesn’t have to feed on blood to survive; he could stay on normie food just fine. He only drank blood to keep his vials normal and healthy.
“You know what you’re going to get?” Tyler asked from across the booth.
Y/N looks up at him. “Yup. You?”
“Yup.”
The waitress, Mary, her name tag stated, made her way back to the table, perching a hand on her hip as she held up her order notepad. “You boys ready?” she asked.
“I’ll have your double bacon cheeseburger, please,” Tyler politely said.
“Fries or tots?”
“Fries.”
“And what to drink?”
“Coke.”
The waitress turned to Y/N. “And for you?”
“The same, please. No onions, and can I order your cakes in a pan, please?” It took a moment to register to Tyler that his boyfriend meant pancakes. Mary wrote their order down and looked at them. “I’ll be back with your drinks. Did you want those pancakes before or after your meal, sweetie?” She looks at Y/N, and Tyler’s pleasantly surprised look of bewilderment is gone. Maybe not all normies were so bad.
“After.”
“You got it.” She walks away.
It wasn’t long before they received their food, as they settled into a comfortable conversation that should have been impossible for a normie, well, half normie and an outcast, but it wasn’t like that between them. When they talked, it was like the rest of the world faded away to just them, and there were no labels in their world—just peace and safety.
Tyler felt himself finally relax as he laughed at something Y/N said. His boyish features are on full display, including his dimples too. He honestly left his worries behind him, and now he’s going to enjoy the holidays with his boyfriend. The consequences could suck it. There was an ease that settled in Tyler’s soul when he reached over and stole fries from Y/N’s plate. Y/N didn’t mind, though; he smiled as Tyler munched on his stolen French fries.
“So, who’s coming to your family’s Christmas party? Your uncles from the old country?” Y/N’s uncles, who lived in Transylvania and other places, were coming to the states for Christmas. Y/N nodded. “Yup. There’s uncle Charlie, my dad's twin brother. There’s uncle Phantom of the Opera. He has a beautiful voice that shatters glass. There’s uncle Gilbert from the Black Lagoon and uncle Stefan. He’s from Italy.
“Well, I can’t wait to meet them.”
“And they can’t wait to meet you, too,” Y/N said. “That’s okay, right? I told my family about you, and they’re so excited to see you, Ty.”
“Really?” Tyler asked. “Even though I’m half normie and a Hyde?”
“Of course. Grandpa says I found myself a keeper when he learned you were a Hyde. He practically gave me his blessing for a marriage proposal. He says Hydes are like royalty back in Transylvania.”
Tyler hadn’t expected that answer. He expected to be turned away as soon as they discovered he was a murderous killing machine, but the Munsters liked that quality in a future-in-law. Go figure. The curly-haired boy licked his lips as his blue orbs looked at Y/N. “I hope that I don’t disappoint them. I mean, it wouldn’t be the first time that I didn’t live up to someone’s expectations.” And just like that, the angst is back. Thinking about his father is back in full force as Tyler frowns.
Y/N frowns, too, as he puts a hand over Tyler’s. “Ty, what are you talking about? My family’s going to love it as much as I do. You could never disappoint them or me.” The promise in his boyfriend’s voice was so commanding and powerful that Tyler just had to believe him. That strangers were willing to welcome someone they’d never seen in their home. It was almost enough to make the Galpin boy cry. Almost. “You think so?”
Y/N smiled. “I know so.”
…..
After their waitress brought them their stack of pancakes that they shared down the middle; their diner date was pretty uneventful, except for who should pay for their dinner. Tyler and Y/N both fenced back and forth before it was agreed upon that Tyler would pay for dinner, if Y/N paid for the gas. Once they had left the diner and filled up Tyler’s truck with enough gas to get them to Y/N’s house, they set off once again for the road as they finished the last three hours of their trip.
Tyler drove through the town of Mockingbird Heights as the GPS guided them towards the street of 1313 Mockingbird Lane.
Once they had arrived at their intended destination, Tyler got out of the car and opened the other side of the door for his boyfriend as he turned towards the house and gasped. The house, or mansion a better word for it, was a Gothic Victorian style. The house stands on a property enclosed by a stone wall and the yard is full of weeds and dead trees. Tyler’s never seen a house like this in life before, only in the movies and tv shows. It was amazing.
Y/N successfully grabbed all their luggage in one go thanks to his Frankenstein like strength as he guides Tyler through the gates of his home with a giant ‘M’ on the bars. As they head up the porch towards the house, the barista notices some Christmas decorations on the front lawn. There’s all the colorful and festive lights surrounded by a giant spider web with mechanical spiders. There’s also the snowman getting his head cut off by the executioner at the guillotine. Over and over again. And the rabid reindeers on top of the house.
“Wow, this place is pretty bleak and horrifying,” Tyler said. Then he realized how that sounded and blushed as he stammered out an apology. “Y/N, I’m sorry I didn’t mean too–”
“–Wow, Puppy, that was so sweet of you to say.” Y/N smiled. “My family sure did try hard and to hear you say those kind words about it makes me smile.”
Tyler rubbed the back of his head nervously. “You’re welcome.” Bad and bloody, we're good here. They were compliments.
They stood on the other side of the door as Y/N set their stuff down and knocked. The whole mansion shook underneath Y/N’s fist as Tyler tried to steady his nerves. Any minute now, he was going to be meeting his boyfriend’s family as soon as that door opened. Hopefully, he doesn’t screw things up. Sensing his uneasiness, Y/N grasped his boyfriend’s hand and gave it a gentle squeeze and a small smile. Tyler smiled back.
The sound of thundering footsteps could be heard as the front door opened up to reveal a hulking figure about 8-foot-tall if Tyler had to guess. He had green skin with a square shaped face, a scar on his forehead, bolts on either side of his neck and black hair. He wore a gray coat over a black sweatshirt with pants and giant boots. Probably the biggest shoes Tyler’s ever seen. Despite his monstrous appearance, he had a sunny disposition about him like his son, as his blue eyes sparkled when he looked down at Y/N and Tyler.
He let out a loud braying bellow as he grabbed Y/N into a hug. Tyler could hear the faint crush of bones and he was concerned, but Y/N seemed ecstatic. “Y/N! Good to see you, my son!”
Y/N giggles as he hugs his father back and Tyler hears bones crunching underneath Y/N’s arms. “You too dad!” They separated as Y/N’s father turned towards Tyler. “Oh, and just who is this young man?”
Tyler opens his mouth to speak, but Y/N beats him to the punch. “Dad, this is my boyfriend, Tyler Galpin. Tyler, this is my dad, Herman Munster,” He introduces the two. “He’ll be staying for the holidays and maybe New Year’s before the spring semester.”
Herman stares at Tyler, and he has to fight the urge to shrink underneath his intense gaze. Finally, Herman breaks into a smile as he holds out his hand. “How do you do, Tyler?” The son of the sheriff looks at the outreach hand and grasps it with his own. It’s surprisingly cold to the touch. He shakes his hand as he politely says , “It’s nice to finally meet you, sir,” Tyler says, proud to hear that his voice doesn’t shake or crack.
“Likewise, young man. Though he’s certainly less hairy than the boyfriend I had when I was your age, Y/N.” Herman laughs at his own joke.
“Seriously, dad jokes? Are you trying to embarrass me?” Y/N blushed as Tyler looks at him and giggles. Herman smiles. “Why don’t you both head inside and I’ll take your bags upstairs?” Y/N nodded as he grabbed Tyler’s hand and led them into the mansion.
Y/N led Tyler past a staircase as Herman traveled up said stairs with all their stuff in his hands as the barista was led into the living room. The first thing Tyler noticed were the webs. The whole living seemed to be covered in it, like Spider-Man had a fight here and didn’t clean up after himself. There were candles lit all around with an old-fashioned clock, an electric chair, a tv, and a fireplace with a couch and a coffee table. There was also a giant harp too.
“Hope you don’t mind, but my mom cleaned this place up for our arrival,” Y/N said.
“That’s fine. No problem at all.” Tyler smiles.
From another room, a beautiful and slender woman with long dark hair with flex’s of gray mixed in and greenish skin, wears an ankle-length pale pink gown that appears faded and old, a bat-shaped medallion around her neck as she is accompanied by an older looking man who also has green skin. He wears a tuxedo with crazy curly gray and white hair. They stop when they see the two boys.
“Ma! Grandpa!” Y/N whooshed towards them and hugged them tight as they did the same to him. “Oh, dear, it’s wonderful to have you home for Christmas, Y/N.”
“It certainly is. Especially with the new blood you brought into the family.” The old man looks at Tyler, a gleam in his eyes as in a blink of an eye; he’s right in front of Tyler, grasping his arm. His fangs come out as the curly-haired young man watches him attempt to bite his arm.
“Grandpa!” Y/N speeds towards them and gets in between as he stands in front of Tyler protectively. “You can’t just bite my boyfriend’s arm.”
“That’s right, grandpa you can’t. You didn’t even ask him for permission first.” the woman says. “Besides, Y/N already has a claim over him and will bite him if he so chooses to do so.”
“Ma, I told you, vampires, my age, don't bite people anymore. It's not considered cool.”
“Cool?” the old man asks. “Back in my day, it was the coolest thing about being a vampire and suddenly now it's not? Your grandma would be turning in her grave right now.”
“What are you talking about? She always turns in her grave.” Y/N gives Tyler an apologetic look. “Sorry about that, Tyler. That was very rude of my grandfather.” He glares at the old man.
“Oh, so this is Tyler?” The woman asks Y/N.
“Wait, he’s Edward Hyde’s great, great, great great, grandson?” The old man gasps.
“Yup, he sure is. Ma, grandpa, this is Tyler. Ty, this is my mom, Lily, and my grandpa, Sam Dracula, Count of Transylvania.”
“Hello, there. Nice to meet you both,” Tyler said.
“You too, Tyler. So wonderful to finally meet you in person. Y/N’s told us all about you,” Lily said.
“He sure has.” Grandpa smiles as he pats them both on the shoulders. “He’s a keeper, Y/N. You have my blessing.” He leans close to Tyler. “Catch ya later, your highness.” He walks out of the room.
“Where are Marilyn and Eddie?” Y/N asks.
“Oh, Marilyn is on a date, and it’s nighttime. I suppose I should wake up Eddie from his sleep. Don’t want him wasting a beautiful night in bed,” Lily said.
“Speaking of bed, Tyler and I are going to get some sleep. It was a long trip.” Y/N noticed Tyler trying to hide his yawn.
Lily nods her head. “Of course, dear. I made sure to clean your room with fresh cobwebs and dust.”
Y/N leads Tyler away from the living room and up the stairs, passing his father as they go up and he goes down. “Going to bed, son? In the middle of the night?”
“Yeah, pops, we’re pretty tired.”
“Alright then, son. You and Tyler have a bad night's sleep and sweet nightmares,” Herman said. Y/N nods and kisses his father’s cheek goodnight as he leads Tyler towards his room.
When Herman comes down the stairs, he finds his wife waiting for him. “Oh, Herman, do you really think they should be sleeping in the same room together? You know how boys are.”
“I do, Lily. Because I am one,” Herman says.
“Would you two stop worrying?” Grandpa said. “Y/N’s a responsible young man and he would never do anything inappropriate. Besides, when I was his age, my parents let my partners stay in my coffin all the time.”
“Yeah, that’s because most of them were dead on their feet.” Herman says with a loud bellow.

Guess I'll also rank all the Glee Christmas songs
I blame you, @thnxforknowingme. Although, I will switch it up a bit. First off, I am sober, second off, I am completely fucking ignoring Previously Unaired Christmas' songs (except for one) cause that entire episode is dead to me, and third off, I do want to rank the album ones as well cause I always listen to the albums.
I am also vaguely ranking them on song choice, quality of the performance, and simply whether I like it. This is very unprofessional and biased. It might not make sense.
Let's start with the two separate songs, that fall outside of the ranking.
Hounourable mention: Hanukkah, Oh Hanukkah - Glee, Actually
I also think it should kind of be its own thing, since it's not a Christmas song. It is catchy, though, and Puck and Jake sound great together. And it's nice of the show to acknowledge that there are characters who do not celebrate Christmas (looking at you, Rachel!) (I mean, Tina is also canonically Jewish, but she was never positioned as the big Christmas lover, like Rachel).
(Dis?)Honourable mention: Rocking Around the Christmas Tree - Previously Unaired Crisis
Aka, the only PUC song that I willingly listen. It's not the best song, but it is fun enough.
And now, the ranking:
35. River - Extraordinary Merry Christmas
Boring. The only song that is basically an instant skip for me. It isn't even on my Glee Christmas Spotify playlist. I don't know why. It just doesn't do it for me. Even when I first heard it at the episode's FLF, it just felt like a big pot of meh. Add this to a storyline of Rachel just... showing off... and it's not my thing. Like, I know I shouldn't care about the storylines for these episodes, since it's all about album sales at the end of the day, but it doesn't make it any better.
34. God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen - A Very Glee Christmas (album)
This song is just kind of weird? But it's also just fine. I do like hearing everyone sing on this one. And is this the only time Dianna appears on the album?
33. Merry Christmas, Darling - AVGC
Huh. It almost seems like I have a vendetta against Rachel Christmas ballads. It's just also a bit meh to me and to be honest, I can't take it seriously cause I keep playing the SIMGM Finchel break-up scene in my head while listening to me. ("You said you'd never stop being friends with me!!!!" "I never thought you could make me feel like this." "NOOOOOO-" "Hey, town down the autotune." "Oh. Sorry. Nooooo.")
32. I'll Be Home For Christmas - Glee, Actually (album)
Yeah. My vendetta continues. I actually didn't realise it until this moment. I like it. It's just fine. But that's it. It's just fine.
31. O Christmas Tree - AVGC (album)
Same here. It's just fine. Matt sounds great, but there isn't much to say.
30. Do You Hear What I Hear - EMC (album)
And same here. Look, we've reached the section of "fine, just fine" songs. I am ranking them mostly on how much I like the voices at this point, cause at the end of the day, all are just fine.
29. Blue Christmas - EMC
Also just fine. This does that the benefit of having a touchy storyline attached to it.
28. The First Noel - Glee, Actually
Same here. Fine. Melissa sounds fine.
27. Do They Know It's Christmas - EMC
I am a sucker of group numbers and it sounds great, but yeah, the song itself is kind of questionable. I agree with Jenna that it's very white saviourism. As if people in Africa don't know the concept of Christmas exists.
26. You're A Mean One, Mr. Grinch - AVGC
k.d. lang sings this as a special guest and it's never acknowledged it the episode. I don't have much to say, but I just find it genuinely funny and it fits the whole Sue the Grinch vibe.
25. Last Christmas - AVGC
This song fits the storyline but for inside-joke reasons, I cannot take any version of this song seriously. But it sounds nice and Lea and Cory sound great.
24. Joy To The World - Glee, Actually (album)
Another song that's just nice to listen to. It's better than the "just fine" category, but this one (and the next two) are also just in the same category of "I like listening to it, it's good, that's all I gotta say".
23. Little Drummer Boy - AVGC (album)
I just like Kevin's voice.
22. Angels Have We Heard On High - AVGC (album)
And I like Amber's voice the most!
21. The Most Wonderful Day of the Year - AVGC
It's a nice opener. I think from all the openers, it's my least favourite, but it's just fun. I do prefer to listen to the episode version, mainly because I think Dianna sounds great in it. Like, I obviously also love Chris's voice, but Dianna's little additions are adorable.
20. My Favourite Things - EMC
Look, Glee made it a Christmas song, now. It's just very cute.
19. White Christmas - Glee, Actually
Yeah. Here is my big unpopular opinion. White Christmas just feels fine. The main reason it's not lower is because I am a Klainer 12. I think this duet just feels a bit unbalanced, as in, it's mostly Darren, so it's not really a duet. I do like the jazzy sound, but it's just nice.
18. Christmas Eve With You - EMC (album)
Yes, they wrote another original song that year. Honestly, this one is surprisingly good. Can't believe it made me care about Wemma for once, but Matt and Jayma sound really good together.
17. Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas - Glee, Actually
It does work in the story! That's the main reason I like it. It wraps up everything nicely. But apart from that, it's also just nice to listen to. It's really soothing.
16. Welcome Christmas - AVGC
Same for this one. It sounds nice. The chorus is great. That's it. Also, this song isn't on the album!
15. We Need A Little Christmas - AVGC
This one just makes me very happy. I also just dance along like they did in the episode. It is funny to me.
14. O Holy Night - AVGC (album), Swan Song
The triumphant return of the Rachel solo. Questionable storyline aside, I actually think Lea sounds really good here. It feels like this was the emotion she was aiming for with the other ballads. (But also... Rachel, you're Jewish.)
13. Happy Xmas (War Is Over) - Glee, Actually (album)
Ah. Cory's solo. After he died, this passed around with people freaking out about a "hidden Cory solo!", but no, it was just always on the album. He sounds really lovely here, together with the chorus in the back.
12. Santa Baby - EMC (album, cut from episode)
Naya sounds great and God, I wish they had kept it in, cause the performance is really well done as well.
11. Jingle Bells - AVGC (album)
Look, this is just a lot of fucking fun. I am a bitch for upbeat songs and this is just a bop. Like, the glee ladies had that dreadful ballad on this album, but the guys got to party.
10. Jingle Bell Rock - Glee, Actually
I just like this song in general and Chord sounds fun. The accompanying storyline was... weird, though, but it's season 4, everything was weird here.
9. Santa Claus Is Coming To Town - EMC
Sure. Why not. I like how Cory and Mark sound together and I really like the instrumentals of this song as well.
8. Let It Snow - EMC
This is just a lot of fun. Darren and Chris sound great on it and there's the nice instrumental and it's just jolly! And of course, I am a Klainer 12.
7. Christmas Wrapping - EMC
I unironically adore this song. Like, it objectively isn't the best song, which is partially because Hemo was never the strongest singer in the cast, but for some reason this one is really doing it for me.
6. Feliz Navidad - Glee, Actually
I am a sucker for Kevin's voice. It's weird. I know. But I think you need to see it as an intentional goofy thing. I always want to dance along to this one.
5. Extraordinary Merry Christmas - EMC
I vaguely recall Darren saying he dislikes this song, but I disagree. It's fun, it's upbeat, but it also doesn't sound like some trashy pop Christmas song (in my opinion) and Lea and Darren sound great together.
Now it's getting difficult. These four are just amazing.
4. Silent Night - Glee, Actually (album)
This is my favourite song of this album. I just remember being moved when I first heard it and that feeling has always sticked. I am usually not the person who likes ballads. I like the upbeat stuff more, which might've become apparent in this list, but this one just got me in the feels for some reason.
3. Deck the Rooftop - AVGC (album)
A mash-up! It's just a really good mash-up and it sounds like everyone is having fun while singing it. I think this is my underappreciated gem.
2. All I Want For Christmas - EMC
This song was made for Amber. She sounds so fucking good in it. It's also a great opener (even though we know it was supposed to be the closing number).
Baby, It's Cold Outside - AVGC
Come on. I am a Klainer 12, after all. But I think even without the Klainer aspect, this is just a really good cover, which is probably why stores still play it. And honestly, it's ballsy to have two men sing this universally known love song in 2010. They sound so good together, too.

Eddie needs Dio's "God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen", literally any scenario or genre will do.
There are still two spots left in my twelve days event if you’d like to request something - no need for it to be Christmas themed, winter activities/stories are more than welcomed too. The playlist so far is linked at the end of the story. Let me know what you think, any interaction is so appreciated and loved!
Summary: Modern Eddie POV (but just in terms of the bar crawl kind of thing), mentions of drinking / puking (not too detailed, but a little sorry), Eddie is Christmas Eve bar crawling with Steve and Robin when he meets you, mentions of the holiday Christmas being celebrated
1.3k words
Day 05 | Track 05: “God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen” by DIO
How Steve and Robin convinced him to go on a bar crawl was beyond him.
And not just any bar crawl - but a Christmas Eve bar crawl.
Sexy santa's, “sit on my lap and tell me what you want for christmas’ ”, bright red cocktails with whipped cream and green beer, “I'm on the nice list but tonight I'm on the naughty’s”, and so much tinsel in people's hair and beards that somehow managed to get all over him.
Ugly Christmas sweaters, themed on themed food, drinks with puns to match the music that had been bopping overhead at every. single. bar. - and people sloppy drunk screaming happy holidays at him or trying to hold up mistletoe in his face.
And as they walked up the block to the last bar of the evening, Eddie watched a girl puke her absolute guts out, bright green in a sea of white snow and he groaned.
"Guys, please, can we call it a night? I'll order us an uber-"
Robin gasped from her place on Steve's back (claiming to be too tired to walk, but not too tired to miss the last bar and Steve being just tipsy enough to offer her a piggyback ride with a smile instead of a look of disdain).
Steve elbowed him, grinning, a high pitched voice surely mocking Robin as he exclaimed, "But this one has karaoke!"
Eddie groaned again and Robin gasped again and hit Steve's shoulder, "Go, go! What are you waiting for Steve! We can sing Last Christmas if we hurry!"
Steve started walking faster, turning backwards to face Eddie as Robin hit him repeatedly. He called out loudly, "Come on Munson, you heard the lady! Last one there has to carry her all the way back home!"
Eddie hung his head and followed, as much as he didn't wanna go, he was having fun with Steve and Robin and there was potential to get some really good blackmail videos to use against the two if they really did do karaoke.
And so, that's how he found himself leaning up against the wall grinning ear to ear at Steve screaming that Bruce Springsteen version of Santa Claus is Coming to Town. Eddie couldn’t wait to show the kids the video.
And he had to admit, Steve wasn't actually that bad, and Robin holding up her cell phone with a video of a lighter in front of him made it even better.
When Steve finished, bowing to his small applause and high fiving Robin as she pretended to echo a cheer and a chant of his name, Eddie watched a group of girls pushing one of their friends towards the stage who was shaking their head profusely.
The opening wailing of a guitar started and Eddie perked up. This was not the average Christmas song played on the radio.
He watched you stumble onto the stage, glaring at the group of your friends as you took the microphone from Steve.
Dressed in a Die Hard t-shirt, black jeans and combat boots with a Santa hat, Eddie was pretty sure his heart stopped beating when he realized it was the DIO version of the song.
Your eyes wide, mouth open like a fish, and nothing came out as you stared at the people occupying the small bar. Eddie felt his body moving, felt his heart in his fingertips, it was just like singing with Corroded Coffin, it wouldn’t be that bad.
You know, except he was pretty tipsy, it was way more than only five drunk people, and you were holding the same mic as him, and he didn’t have his comfort blanket of a guitar to hold.
When he stepped onto the small stage and started singing, you grinned and eventually joined in with him, screaming out in a voice that he didn't understand could fit inside of you, "To save us all from Satan's power, when we were gone astray…”
A duet like he’d never sung before, clutching the mic together, he was mesmerized by the way you scrunched your eyes closed as you absolutely wailed out notes perfectly and when the guitar solo happened and you pretended to play while headbanging he almost got down on one knee right then and there.
When the song ended, Eddie and you were both breathless, foreheads almost touching, you bit your lip and backed away shyly, falling back into your group of friends who grouped around you screaming and cheering about how good it was.
Steve patted him on the shoulder, grinning and then pointed to Robin slumped over on the table, "Time to pay the piper my friend."
Eddie rolled his eyes, "How did she fall asleep during that," he grunted as Robin pushed his face away, kicking at him and he mumbled, "Jesus, Buckley, help a guy out here."
She moaned, "I don't want to go! I wanna sing..." She hiccuped and moaned again, "Last Christmas. I didn't get to sing Last Christmas."
Steve and Eddie shared a look and then Steve held her hands down as Eddie grabbed at her waist and she kicked him in the knee.
Eddie could feel his ears getting red as he clenched his jaw, "Woman, if you don't-"
She pointed at him, forehead on the table, "Steve can carry me. You go with that cutie."
Eddie rubbed his temple and sighed, watching Steve chug water next to him, "Harrington can't carry you right now. Buckley, get on my back right now or I'm leaving both of your asses here and I'm taking your Christmas present back."
She hiccuped again, peeking one eye open too, "You got me a present?"
He rolled his eyes, "Yes. A good one too. Now," he tapped his rings on the table, "Up."
She sighed and put her arms out like a zombie and Eddie hiked her up on to his back as she huffed at Steve, "I can't believe you told me to have that Claus-mopolition at the last bar-" She kicked out her foot at Steve who stumbled next to Eddie, "Or how you convinced me to get these boots. They hurt!"
Steve knocked her skull with his knuckles lightly, "You ordered that drink because the bartender who was trying to sell it to you had green eyes, and-" Steve spun, walking out of the bar backwards, "You asked me if your butt looked good in those boots and I said yes and-"
Robin hissed, "Steve-"
Eddie laughed, "They do make your butt look good Buck."
She flicked his ear and he could tell she was rolling her eyes, drunk, but not enough to lose her sarcastic spirit, "In your dreams shitbirds."
Steve placed a hand over his heart like he'd been wounded when Eddie heard, "Wait! DIO karaoke crasher!"
Eddie turned to see you running down the sidewalk, pushing through the mess of sloppy drunk people. Robin slid from his shoulders as you reached them.
You were breathless, holding up a finger to your neck and a one second signal and Eddie was grinning so hard he thought his face would pop.
He rubbed the back of his neck, "Sorry, I just thought-"
You waved his apology away and stepped forward, "I wanted to say thank you to my knight in shining leather."
Barely any space between your bodies and Eddie felt his face heat up as you reached into your back pocket and held up mistletoe and kissed his cheek.
You whispered, "Thank you."
You slid his jacket sleeve up as you pulled the cap of a sharpie off with your mouth and wrote a number on his wrist, signing it with your name. You winked at him as you turned away from him with your lip between your teeth as your friends all cheered and cat called and you flipped them off.
Eddie was pretty sure he melted into a puddle right there on the sidewalk as he watched you walk away, nothing would ever ruin a moment so-
He turned to see Steve holding Robin's hair back with his head facing the sky as he shook it, mumbling something about no matter how many times she promised to watch Star Wars would he say yes to a bar crawl again.

Heyaa, I'm back again with my brainrot fanfic for my Casanova Luke. Hope you all like it. I'm gonna try to work a nick one; the blue eyed man deserves some love too.
Anyways, let's jump to the story <3
Title: Golden Savior
Pairing: Luke x Fem reader (Gilgamesh power holder)
Words: 2,905
It's been a couple of days since Carver and his men capture Luke and the others, alongside Kenny with his girlfriend Sarita, especially y/n. Now, all of them watched how Carver beats Kenny and crushed his other eye with the walkie talkie Clem stole for their "escape plan". Y/n saw how panic Sarita is and Carlos stopping her, she couldn't watched any longer... She decided to run towards Kenny to aid him but she was greeted by the end of a gun slam on her cheeks, making her stumble on the ground, laying on the ground unconscious.
Luke: Y/n!
Luke's voice was full of rage from the scene he saw, he doesn't care if he received a heavy beating but seeing his girlfriend knock out unconsciously makes his blood boil.
Luke: you son of a bitch! I'll kill you!
Luke said to the sadistic man, full of vengeance on his tone. Carver chuckled because he never saw Luke this mad.
Carver: "aw why are you like that Luke? Is it because of that woman over there? Aww Luke found a girlfriend now"
Carver continues beating Kenny until Bonnie pops in;
Bonnie: "Bill! That's enough! Bill that's enough listen to me!"
Carver gave her a look and stopped, starring at her eyes intensely. Bonnie cleared her throat.
Bonnie: "there is a breach,"
Carver hummed and give a glance to the beaten group.
Carver:"okay, Bonnie keep an eye on these people, now no supper for you all tonight! Let's see if it will make you all different"
Carver and the others goes out from the scene, following up with Troy closing the metal sliding door. Bonnie broke off the silence and said;
Bonnie: "we are leaving, tonight."
The group was shocked from what Bonnie said, all googly pop out eyes and mouth gape.
Bonne: "We are leaving, tonight!"
She repeatedly said while caressing y/n's shoulder. Bonnie stepped out to not make the situation suspicious due to her presence's absence, Luke didn't hesitately huddle up to y/n and try waking her up.
Luke: "hey hey hey, y/n wake up. Please wake up..."
Carlos: "give her some rest, she got knocked out but I can say she will wake up"
Clem: "Kenny..."
Luke and Carlos looked at the two girls crying, making them feel guilty and sad from dragging them in this hole... Luke lift y/n up in a bridal style and put her on the double deck bed to posture her up right to make sure she got a fully rest. Now, the group killing the time while chatting about the escape plan for tonight infront of a bonfire.
-
Now it's a chilling night, y/n was starting to open her eyes, only to hear arguing.
Luke: "fuck you, Jane! We are not leaving y/n, same as Kenny, that's not fair"
Carlos: "I understand your anger but-"
Kenny: "bullshit doc, we are not gonna leave her behind, I'm not gonna let you all just dump her in this hell hole. The turds right! It's not fair-"
Y/n: "you all don't have to worry about it, I won't let myself be a burden to all of you"
Y/n limping walk towards them, panting and look at them seriously.
Mike: "damn, you are tough"
Y/n: "thanks, chocolates"
Mike chuckled from her statement and the others start giving her hugs due to the concern they felt.
Rebecca: "thank god you finally woke up"
Y/n: "I'm thankful too"
Y/n looked at Luke who suddenly hugs him tight and kiss her long, doesn't care if the group could watch their moment. Soon after, Luke broke the kiss while he was still hugging him.
Luke: "I thought you won't wake up..."
Y/n: "I won't die easily, handsome"
Luke and Y/n softly chuckled and she caresses Luke's back to reassure him then she broke off the hug, scanning the area and sigh with hesitation while looking at the group. Rebecca noticed it and spoke;
Rebecca:"what is it?"
Y/n: "do you all... Want to conquer this base?"
Carlos: "what do you mean?"
Now the whole group was focused at y/n.
Y/n: "conquer, conquering this base full of necessary supplies and armory."
The group looked at each other then Carlos speak up;
Carlos: "that would be a good shot to conquer this base but you do exactly know that we are outnumbered and unarmed also there are a lot of walkers out there"
Y/n: "you don't have to worry about it, Carlos. Just follow the plan you have all made, I'll deal with the rest so..."
Y/n looked to the group, holding her hand up in a handshake mode and adds up;
Y/n: "only I need is someone who's gonna close my deal, shaked my hand and I'll make sure that will happen"
Carlos: "wait, I don't clearly understand what you are up to-"
Luke: "" wait y/n-"
Before the two men finish their sentences, Kenny goes upfront and shake y/n's hand firmly and sealed.
Kenny: "I don't give a shit what happened to me after sealing the deal you offer but making sure all the people with us right now will never be needed to run forever so.."
Kenny aligned himself and spoke again;
Kenny: "I, Kenny the old man you help around, sealing this deal with me"
Y/n shake his hand back.
Y/n: "my pleasure doing business with you, Kenny. The deal is now sealed"
Kenny: "give your all for this, kid"
Y/n: "sure will do, sir"
After it, they now proceed to their plan, Clem starts to get boosted up by Mike and climbing up after Rebecca gives her instructions. Soon after the plan is already running, the PA system was successfully activated by Clementine, Bonnie lifted up the door and commanded them to move, everyone was moving and suddenly Luke approach y/n while his hands resting at her shoulder.
Luke: "what are you up to, darling?"
Y/n: "something heroic hehe"
Luke turned y/n and stare at her before giving her a passionate warm kiss, y/n kisses back and they both broke it off.
Y/n: "go now, Luke. I'll be doing something here first"
Luke caresses her cheek and said;
Luke: "be careful my darling, I'll literally marry you after this rebellious war"
Y/n: "I know, darling"
They both smiled at each other and Luke ran off to go with the others, leaving y/n alone, she pulled out a knife and start to cut her palm, making her bleed and starting her chant.
Y/n: "god of the powerful strength, the treasure ruler around the whole earth, lend me your grace, lend me the weapon that will bring justice, protection, and chaos. I offer my life for the people who seeks safety and vitue, I'll shoulder your power with honor, Gilgamesh!"
A divining light starts to light up at y/n's body, making her beam as a mountain of gold. Transformation of hers will cause shock to the others.
-
The plan that Luke and the group are doing well until Carver corner them in the storage room, Clem tries to jump kick Carver but only hitted his ear causes Clem to fall from her butt. Carver aligned himself and pointed his gun at them. Rebecca noticed Alvin was not with Clementine.
Rebecca: "where's Alvin?"
Clementine kept quiet, she got the hint and couldn't believe it, now the only emotion runs at her body was anger...
Rebecca: "fuck you, Bill"
Carver: "that guy is on our way to a happy life, but now, all of you go at my limit, you all ungrateful shits, I should just kill you at the ski resort! But it's fine, I'll just do it here, right now-"
Before Carver finished his sentence, he felt his knees get struck by swords causing him to be dropped at the floor, Luke quickly takes the gun out of Carver. All of them are now focuses to the person, of more likely, a goddess approaching them.
Y/n: "I would not let you harm them, Mr. Carver"
The group was shocked and gaze to her form. Her form, a shiny golden hair, lava colored eyes, golden female armor revealing her skin and the beauty highlight parts of her body, golden strap from her one arm and a golden strap from her one leg up to thighs, a golden light weighted broadsword on her as a weapon, and also, the archangel type wings made from golden swords. All of them couldn't speak and just stare at y/n until Carver laugh.
Carver: "I know who god you have, Gilgamesh the goldie shit hahaha"
Y/n uses the end of her sword to make Carver look up at her. Carver smirk
Y/n: "quite a talker from a peasant sheep you are, I wouldn't harm you, you are not my business but Kenny sure do"
Carver: "what?"
Kenny: "my pleasure, now what?"
Y/n approach Luke and the others, unintentionally making them mesmerizing about her appearance.
Y/n: "clear all the others that goes at Carver's side, don't leave them alive."
Y/n coldly replied and everyone follow up, suddenly Luke grab her wrist softly.
Luke: "where are you going?"
Y/n: "making my deal came true"
Luke nodded and let go of her wrist, y/n sprint off to the exit.
-
After a couple hours of fighting Carver's men, the group successfully finished them off, Kenny successfully finished Carver. They decide to check what's going on the outside since they heard a lot of falling and felt a ground shaking. They slowly opened the door and got out, they wander their sight and couldn't believe what they saw...
Big claymore swords that look like what knights use, drop tight on the ground, re-creating the fences as defenses and then they soon saw a flying person on the sky. Y/n, swinging like a bird, killing a walker again and again, soon she is making a raining sword dropped off to all the rest walkers who still lived. After a moment, it's all finished, the horde got wiped out, same against Carver's men, y/n successfully conquer the base with the group. Y/n lowered her flying, landing on the ground and said;
Y/n: "now we conquer that fucker's base, all of you need is to sustain and grow this outpost"
The group cheered with relief and happiness, knowing they won't have to run anymore and already settling in. However, the group got quiet and looked at y/n, the golden savior was confused why they are now suddenly looking at her, she was about to speak when Luke got the time to speak first;
Luke: "what do you mean by that?"
Y/n noticed the panic and concern on his tone, making the others question it too.
Y/n: "I couldn't stay with all of you, Luke. I may have saved this base from a huge horde, however there is a possibility that I will lose control..."
Carlos: "what makes you think that?"
Y/n: "Gilgamesh is a demigod of powerful strength where he proposed to be fully a god because if his possession. He is the symbol of justice, protection, and... chaos..."
The group was shocked and all eyes are widen at sadness and dismay, they couldn't believe that they just let y/n do all this without knowing their is a price when it comes to it. Kenny broke off the silence, y/n look at Kenny. The old man spoke;
Kenny: "what will I receive from the deal?"
Y/n: "name me a body part of yours and I will resin it to gold"
The group gasp on what y/n said.
Nick: "wait wait hold on-"
Kenny: "it's okay vanilla ice, now hmm... just plainly my arm, kid"
Kenny rolled up his sleeve and held up his arm and waiting for her to do anything on it, y/n grasp firmly at Kenny's hand, seeing his arm starting to turned to gold. A successful deal and a successful received of price. The group watch the scene with full of shock imprints on their faces. Kenny admire his now golden arm and said;
Kenny: "not bad"
Y/n: "well you won't have to think about walker's bite in that arm since it is fully gold"
Kenny: "goddamn, now I appreciate this more"
Y/n chuckled and suddenly she light up again in a gold beam, making the others cover their eyes. Soon after, y/n fell unconscious, thankfully Kenny was on time to catch her up, Kenny noticed that y/n was still have a golden hair and plucked open her one eye to see her eye is still lava colored, after a second of checking up on her, he noticed her armor clothing was gone, leaving her naked, he looked away. Luke ran towards them and saw his girlfriend's body naked, he got flustered and removed his pullover jacket and put it on her.
Luke: "she passed out, let's get inside now"
The others oblige and come inside, Luke lifting up the unconscious beauty on his arms, sealing off the door for safety.
-
Y/n gasp and waking up, jolted up to her slumber. She noticed she wearing a orange pullover jacket-
Y/n: "Luke..."
She started to scan the area, she noticed she was in a room and saw her backpack was on the side of the mattress. She took the bag and scattered it to look for clothing, she finally found extra undergarments, a tank top with broken buttons on the chest, a cargo pants, a plain sock, and a low cut combat boots. She remove Luke's pullover jacket and start to dress on her clothes.and tying her hair up to a bun. She got out of the room with Luke's cloth on her arm and wandered off, soon she stumble to the others, Bonnie starting to cook, Carlos checking up on Kenny's eyes while Clementine on his side, Sarita and Sarah making conversation on the side, nick and Luke moving some tables as a dining table. Y/n cleared her throat;
Y/n: "hey, guys"
Luke picked up her voice and ran towards her, giving her a tight hug where she hugged back. It followed up with the group's gaze.
Carlos: "y/n we couldn't thank you enough from what you do for us, we are deeply thankful to you"
Sarah: "thank you, golden sis"
Sarita: "thank you very much, kid"
Mike: "you are one gold badass woman"
Bonnie: "thank you"
Kenny: "you really are powerful"
Nick: "thank you, for not giving us up"
Rebecca: "you are a strong woman, you gave us a permanent base"
Y/n rubbing Luke's back and appreciating all the gratitude they are showing to her, she notice Jane was not around.
Y/n: "where is the other girl?"
Luke stopped hugging her and looked at he then he spoke;
Luke: "she decided to go and we all don't know where she is heading"
Y/n: "I see"
Kenny butted in and touching her hair softly.
Kenny: "so you are now goldilocks huh"
Y/n: "yeah you could say that, old man"
Luke: "you didn't get back to your normal look"
Y/n: "looks like I finally conquer and awaken the power so now I'm goldilocks"
Luke kisses y/n passionately which y/n kissed bsck. They heard Mike making whistle and Sarah giggling, they broke off the kiss, follow up with Luke's sentence;
Luke: "you are not going anywhere..."
Y/n: "I won't go anywhere, I won't leave you and the group"
Luke: "thank god, because now the rebellious war against Carver is done so..."
Luke took something on his pocket-a box like item then got down in one knee, the group was starting to cheer up on him, making y/n gasp and couldn't believe what's going to happen.
Luke: "y/n, I here by this day to continue love, care, protect you, also making you happy, tying the knot to eternity. Through sickness and cure, till death do us part. Y/n, will you be my wife?"
Luke pulling up the ring and y/n couldn't help cry and spoke;
Y/n: "I hers by this day to continue love, care, protect you, also making you happy, tying the knot to eternity. Through sickness and cute, till death do us part. Yes I would love to be your wife and love to have you my husband"
Luke smiled and tearing up while putting the ring at her ring finger, him giving the pair to her to make her put it on his ring finger as well, now they sealed it with a sweet passionate kiss. The others clapped and cheered more for the blissful scene they witness and now nick said;
Nick: "Luke the Casanova is now married to a goddess goldilocks"
Making the newlyweds laughed.
Luke: "well I'm happy to have her in my life"
Y/n: "awe, the feelings is mutual, handsome"
Kenny: "looks like if we let these two breed peacefully, there will have the most strong army"
Luke and y/n blushes from the old man's thought. Now y/n start to make seducing gesture to her husband.
Y/n: "then~ let's find out"
Luke: "my goldie kitten"
Bonnie: "now now that's enough, to celebrate the newlyweds, let's feast and enjoy our meal"
Luke, y/n, and the others start to sat on and eat the meal Bonnie did. Making conversation with carefree, enjoying every time they spent to build up connection and family. But, for sure these people will never get enough sleep once Luke and y/n start the "session". More important is that, all of them are now feel safe and no need to run again.

I know that people, including Christmas enjoyers like me, get tired of hearing the same songs over and over during this season. AMV Taxonomy
I think it makes sense to divide AMVs into three categories.
First, you have AMVs which only use footage from one anime. Consider this Dungeon Meshi AMV (edited by Demily Pyro):
youtube
The focus of this kind of AMV allows it to function as any other fanwork, commenting on the original work and/or the author's relation to it.
For instance, the musical contrast between the first and second halves of this AMV reflects and emphasizes a contrast in Marcille's personality—her childish attitude towards dungeon food versus her hardcore attitude towards blood magic. (I also get the sense that the author is invested in the relationship between Falin and Marcille, which can be confirmed by looking at her Tumblr page.)
Second, you have AMVs which use footage from many series, like this "God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen" AMV from monomogu:
youtube
It can't function as a fanwork the same way. Any relationship between the characters in question and merry gentlemen is largely coincidental. But by using footage from dozens of series instead of just one, monomogu had more creative freedom.
He didn't have to work with the shots one anime gave him; he could search every anime he knows for exactly the right shot of someone punching the wall. So monomogu can craft exactly the audiovisual experience he's trying to create. It's still a derivative work, but it's not really a fanwork.
Of course, what I've said about creative approaches for these two kinds of AMV is hardly absolute. It's possible for a one-anime AMV to craft a cool audiovisual experience, or a multi-anime AMV to say something about the series involved. An AMV can even do both at once!
But the two categories do tend to lend themselves to the two different creative approaches. And I don't think I've seen anyone distinguish between these two creative approaches before. AMVs are AMVs.
But the distinction is important! You cannot judge a "fanwork" AMV that's not trying to be a "cool" AMV by the same standards you'd judge one that's just trying to be cool, nor vise versa.
...
Oh yeah, the third type. Those are the official music videos you sometimes see posted by the band or production company, which technically fall into the first category, but really shouldn't.
youtube
On one hand, this isn't a fanwork any more than a book cover or movie trailer is. And it's certainly not saying anything about the characters featured beyond "Look at all the stuff they get up to!"
On the other hand, it's not handling the audiovisual experience with much care. The cuts are fine, decent craft there, but the overall construction of the video feels aimless. It feels like the editor wanted to make a good music video but was not given much choice in what shots to use or what order they can go in.
Anyways, this is a music video with anime visuals, so it's technically an AMV, even if it's not much like the other two types.

Nightsky's Christmas Carol Ranking
Disclaimer: I started playing the piano at age four and still am at (redacted). I am heavily biased towards or against some songs for this reason.
Carol of the Bells: 9.5 out of 10. The lost point five is because I lost the middle page of the sheet music I have for it (only have pages 1 and 3) and so I can't play it now.
Silent Night: 8 out of 10. I have a chronic association of this with the WWI Christmas truce. One of the songs that is easily elevated to a 10 or higher if sung during a church service thanks to the 'everyone knows it so everyone sings loudly' effect
Go Tell It On The Mountain: 5 out of 10. Fun chords in parts of the chorus, but this is one of the ones that always gets modernized, and I really like traditional-style carols. Also not a lot going on lyrically.
O Come, O Come, Emmanuel: 10 out of 10. Top tier crescendos.
What Child Is This: 9 out of 10. Again, good crescendos, and I like the lyrics. I can usually hit the low notes in this one without much effort, which adds points.
God Rest Ye Merry, Gentlemen: 11 out of 10. The version I learned of this has a really fun up and down section for the second verse where you're emphasizing every other note for the melody. One of the faster-tempo songs, which makes it really fun to sing.
We Three Kings: 8 out of 10. It's good, and I love it when we do all the verses. If I'd played it recently, it would probably be higher.
O Holy Night: 12 out of 10. jbafklfsddzkjlhrejfd crescendos. Play this at your Christmas Eve service. When everyone's singing those long held notes in the chorus, this hits. (Am prepping this one for a recital. So a bit biased but still)
O Come, All Ye Faithful: 8.5 out of 10. Heard this one modernized more times than I would like. If you bring Adeste Fidelis into play, the rating will go up a notch. Idk, but 'venite adoramus' is powerful.
I Saw Three Ships: 6 out of 10. It's fine. Never listened to it very much, except for this one dulcimer version I have on my iPod. It's a very nice version, but that's all I have to say.
Bring A Torch, Jeanette Isabella: 6 out of 10. Pretty much the same. You don't hear this one all that much.
Do You Hear What I Hear: 7.5 to 9 out of 10. It fully depends on the version of it, the tempo, instruments, how modern it sounds. But when it's done well, I really like it.
Hark! The Herald Angels Sing: 8.5 out of 10. Best song for a Christmas morning service. This one tends to be difficult for me to sing, it's a little more suited to lower voices in my opinion. But it sounds lovely.
Angels We Have Heard On High: 8 to 10 out of 10. Depends on how enthusiastic the singers are about the 'Gloria in excelsis Deo'.
If there's interest (read: two people) I'll do a part two.

Note
God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen (Pentatonix cover) fits Hikari and Temenos greatly. I don’t know it just fits both of them greatly in two different directions
same song, different vibes depending on the character

Sometimes when it’s hard to write- I just put on a random song and write whatever it makes me think about.
~~~
A year later- now I’m writing a gay Christmas story because of God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen and I will never be the same.
