Y/N: “Wednesday, Tyler says he wants to take me out.”
Wednesday: “How lovely.”
Y/N: “How do you suppose he’ll take me out? An axe to the head? A knife in the back?”
Wednesday: “My money’s on Cyanide poisoning. Perhaps tied to the railroad tracks as a train comes by.”
Y/N: “That would be so romantic! Tied to the railroad tracks with a train headed towards me.”
Enid: *Hearing everything with a shocked face* “OMG! Do you guys even what ‘taking me out means?’”
Wednesday: “Yes. It’s very clear. To kill, destroy, or disable someone or something.”

Imagine Tyler Galpin dating Wednesday’s adopted brother. Like Tyler is just shy, and Addams Reader is just such a cheesy romantic. Like I’m talkin 1950’s romance type cheesy , and Wednesdays just like “ugh here we go again. i swear ur just like dad”
Tyler never knew that Wednesday had another brother besides Pugsley. But the day her family came to get her from Nevermore, Tyler was instantly smitten with her adoptive brother, Y/N Addams. He dressed like his father Gomez, or a young butler as he wore a suit and tie despite the heat outside. His hair was gelled back and combed neatly. He smiled at Tyler and gave him a kiss on the hand. "It's an honor to make your acquaintance, mon chéri." The young man blushed hard.
Wednesday rolled her eyes. "Y/N, please don't. I don't want to vomit."
And that's how Tyler and Y/N started dating. Tyler was afraid that Y/N's family wouldn't want a murderous Hyde in their family, but he was wrong. When they announced they were together, Y/N's family threw them a fucking party to celebrate. Apparently, it was okay to date guys who could turn into a monster capable of ripping them to shreds.
"Ah, didn't I tell you, Tish? He takes after his father. He knows how to pick em." Gomez smiled.
Y/N was very cheesy. Like 1950s cheesy. He would open doors for Tyler. Write him poems and give him flowers. He even wouldn't let Tyler kiss him because that was moving things too fast. But nonetheless, it was sweet and nice.
Wednesday would roll her eyes at them. "Ugh, here we go again. You're exactly like father, Y/N."

Betrayed
Tyler Galpin x Male Reader
Tumblr media
Dead leaves crunched beneath his feet as Y/N paced a small path towards the Crackstone's Crypt. The place that had been filled with so much mystery was now a place of dread and despair of painful memories. Memories of uncovering the mystery of Joseph Crackstone, Wednesday’s prophecy and the place where Y/N let himself be vulnerable to the one person that made him feel alive.
Tyler Galpin had reeled Y/N in with his boyish charm, and his warmth and earnestness, that shrouded the literal beast inside of him. The Hyde behind the Jekyll. The Beauty and the Beast.
His first date. His first kiss. Everything within that crypt was with the one person who broke Y/N Munster in more ways than one. He hated it.
Y/N sat down heavily on the steps to the crypt, burying his face in your hands. How could this have happened? His grandpa warned him that humans–normies, were dangerous, but Y/N didn’t realize how dangerous they really were.
The sound of footsteps could be heard around the crypt of Joseph Crackstone. Y/N looked up and saw a familiar face that made his stomach drop and his heart thumb rapidly.
Tyler raised his hands in defense as Y/N jumped up and got into a defensive position as he glared at the Hyde boy. “It’s just me. No need to bring out the Kung Fu moves again.”
“For you, I’d do much worse than just knocking you on your ass.” Y/N warned, fangs poking out just slightly. “I heard you escaped.”
Tyler smiled and chuckled. “More like…. out for good behavior.”
“And you came here because?”
“I knew you’d still be here before winter break. And I wanted to see you. Maybe talk?” Tyler got closer to Y/N as he hissed in warning as the Hyde boy backed up a bit.
“Talk about what, huh? How many more ways are there for you to rip my heart out?” Y/N asked him.
“I’m sorry,” Tyler said.
“No, you’re not. If you were truly sorry, you’d stop enjoying killing people.”
“Says the guy whose family are literal monsters.”
“My family may be monsters, but they are good people. Better than you could ever hope to be, because as long as you're sire bonded to Ms. Thornhill, you will always be a danger.” Y/N walked towards Tyler.
“Sire bond?” Tyler frowns.
“Yeah, you’re grateful to Ms. Thornhill for showing you who you really are, and that has caused you to do anything and everything that she asks. As long as you feel that loyalty to her, she will always have control over you.” Y/N and Tyler were standing chest to chest as Y/N looked into his blue colored eyes.
“Then help me break it, please?” Tyler runs a thumb over Y/N’s cheek as the latter moves away from his touch. “Don’t. Just don’t. I can’t help you, Tyler. Only you can do that.”
“I thought we were in this together?” Tyler asks.
“That was before I gave my heart to a lying jackass,” Y/N said. He speeded and pushed Tyler against a tree and kept the slightly taller boy pinned in an iron lock grip. “You know, under different circumstances, this would be kind of hot.”
“Do you not care about what you did to me? To Wednesday? To all the people you murdered!” Y/N asked. “My first kiss. My first boyfriend. I hate that it was you.”
“Then why let me live? Why not kill me?” Tyler’s blue eyes were a darker shade of blue in the cool, snowy air. He looked down at Y/N, awaiting an answer.
Y/N huffed as he let Tyler go. “I’m not a killer. I’m not you.”
“That wasn’t my fault!”
“Wasn’t it? You could have chosen to tell me as soon as we met, but you didn’t. No, you chose to play with my feelings and you broke me, Tyler. I’m fucking broke because of you.” Y/N let tears roll down his face as he admitted that.
Tyler’s face immediately morphed into the one that was caring, compassionate, and warm. The face that he had used to rope Y/N in his webs of deceptions. “Oh, Y/N… I’m so sorry. I never meant for this to happen.”
He wiped away Y/N’s tears. The other boy looked at him. “I want you to leave and never come back. If you do, I will drain every ounce of blood from your body. Understand?”
Tyler said nothing as he nodded his head. He was frustrated, hurt, and angry, but he accepted this. He stepped away from Y/N. He began to walk back the way he came as he turned and took one glance at Y/N. “I love you, Y/N Munster. And I will spend the rest of my life trying to make things right between us. I would wait forever for you.” And with that, he was gone.
Y/N waited until he couldn’t hear Tyler’s heartbeat close him anymore before he let the tears fall hard, as Wednesday and Thing came up behind him and watched him breakdown.

Wednesday: “Are you going to continue to lie to my face?”
Y/N: “About what?”
Wednesday: “How Tyler is hiding like a spineless coward in your bathroom and he’s probably naked isn’t he?”
Y/N: “How do you know all this?”
Wednesday: “I didn’t. You just confirmed my suspicions and Enid owes me fifty bucks.”

Beauty within the Beast
Tyler Galpin x Male Reader
A/N: I have no idea why I made this.
Tumblr media
“Are you sure this is a good idea, Y/N?” The sounds of leaves crunching underneath shoes could be heard as Y/N led Tyler deep into the forest behind his house. They were out here to conduct an experiment. Hopefully, if all goes well, they will succeed.
Y/N turned to the other boy, a childish like smile on his face. “Of course it is. My dad let Eddie and me play in these woods all the time. Especially at midnight when the killer spirits come out to play hide and go death.”
“That’s not what I meant.”
“I know, but trust me. With all the knowledge my grandpa gave me about Hydes, this plan will work.”
Tyler’s ears picked up at the note. “Really? What did he say about them?”
“That apparently Robert Louis Stevenson wasn’t crazy. The Strange Case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde wasn’t just a short story or a nightmare he experienced. He was real. And apparently Edward Hyde and my grandpa were good friends back in the day,” Y/N said. “He’s your ancestor, though his mutation grew into a more beastly form that he passed down to his descendants. Passed down to you.”
Tyler tried to rack his brain around this new information. So, Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde were real people and apparently he was a descendant of the original Hyde. “So, I’m a descendant of them? And my mom was too?”
“Yup. But the good thing about my grandpa being friends with benefits with Mr. Hyde.” Y/N smirked at that. “Is that a person can learn to control their Hyde form and even use its strength in their mortal form.”
“So, I can learn to control my beast-like side?” Tyler asked. It seemed too good to be true.
“Yeah, but the only way for you to control it is to own the darkest parts of yourself. Your hidden desires and wants.”
“I don’t know if I can,” Tyler admitted. He’s made so many mistakes that it seemed impossible for him to be brave enough to control this side of himself. “I don’t know if I’m strong enough.”
“Tyler… I know you can control this…” Y/N got closer to the other boy and put his face in his hands as he leaned forward and placed a chaste kiss to his lips as the other boy blushed red. “I believe in you.”
“Why would you help me, Y/N? After all the pain I’ve caused you, I don’t deserve your protection or your help.” He began to cry as he looked so broken and full of remorse. All the terrible things he did. All the people who he hurt and killed. He was a monster and deserved to be put down.
Y/N gently brushed his boyfriend’s tears away as he gave him a small smile. “Tyler, I chose to help you because I love you. Because I know that it wasn’t your fault for what happened. It was Ms. Thornhill’s. If anyone deserves to be punished, it’s her. For using a young man’s trauma and the need to know about his mother against him.”
Tyler hiccuped as he looked at Y/N with sad, wet eyes. “Really?”
“Really. Despite everyone saying not to, I don't care. All I care about is helping you.” He hugged him and that filled Tyler with warmth and hope. Hope that he can do this. “What do we do first?”
Y/N moved away from Tyler and looked into his baby blues. “We give you a moving target.”
“A target?”
“Right. If you can successfully catch the target and manage to control your killer instincts, then it means you’ve gotten control,” Y/N said.
“Who’s the target?” Tyler asked, but he had a sneaking suspicion of who it was.
“You’re looking at him.” Y/N pointed to himself. “If you can catch me and manage not to tear me limb from limb, then it’s worked. You’ve owned the darkest parts of yourself.”
“Wait, Y/N, I don’t think this is a good–”
Whatever Tyler was going to say was cut off by a punch to the gut from his boyfriend. Tyler keeled over in pain. He looked up at Y/N in shock. “What are you doing?” Tyler groaned.
“Sorry, Puppy, but I need Mr. Hyde right now. Not Dr. Jekyll.” He punched Tyler in the face, minding his Frankenstein’s strength and not breaking Tyler’s nose or his bones. Tyler groans as he looks at Y/N, as his breathing becomes heavy and rapid and when Y/N sees Tyler’s eyes bulged out, literally, he knows it’s time for him to run. And fast.
He vamp speeds out of there, as he can hear Tyler’s inhuman roar as he begins to transform into his beastly side. His clothes tear off as he grows sharp claws until he stands about 10 feet tall. The Hyde roars and as soon as it catches Y/N’s scent, it begins to give chase.
Y/N speeds through the forest as he tries to put some distance between himself and the Hyde on his tail. It would have been easier to fly away, but unfortunately, he needs to be on the ground for this plan to work. He continues to speed run as he can hear the Hyde’s thunderous steps closing in on him. He stops just short of the gates of the local cemetery as he turns and waits for the inevitable. Not a moment later, the Hyde crashes through the trees and roars loudly, not a moment later he’s down on his back with the Hyde’s monstrous hand pinning him down.
Y/N looks up at the creature’s red, bloodshot eyes instead of Tyler's clear blues. They were wild and unfocused, with the only objective on the Hyde's mind was to capture its prey and mutilate it. Y/N wiggled a bit as the monster tighten its grip on him as it dug its claws into his sides. The young hybrid hissed at the pain of Tyler's claws digging into his skin. He locks eyes with Tyler's other self. “Tyler, if you can hear me, fight. I know you can control this. I love you.”
Meanwhile, in the dark recesses of his mind, Tyler watched the scene play out like a movie. Like he was merely an observer looking out into the film and he had no control over his actions. There was a dark chuckle as Tyler turned to see a doppelgänger of himself, but this version of him had black hair and bloodshot eyes. He smiled at the scene of Y/N pinned helplessly to the ground.
Tyler called him Dark Tyler. A more malevolent version of him that enjoyed the chaos and bloodshed. This was the darkness that Y/N said that he had to own. If he wanted control of himself; he needed to learn to accept his dark side. “Pathetic. He thinks love can save him?” Dark Tyler laughed. “I can’t wait to rip him limb from limb. I bet you he likes to get loud. I betcha he’s a screamer, eh, Ty?” Tyler looks at his evil counterpart, who has a filthy smirk on his face as he raises his right arm and Tyler sees the Hyde do the same thing in reality.
Tyler grabbed his arm before he could put it down. “I’m not going to let you hurt, Y/N,” Tyler protested.
His doppelgänger frowns at him. “And why not? Because he loves us?” Dark Tyler mocks. “You and I both know no one could love a monster like us.”
“Y/N did. He believes in us. Believes in me. And I’m not going to let you kill him.”
“Oh, so little boy, Galpin, has finally grown a pair and decided to man up.” Dark Tyler got close to his good side. “What are you going to do, Tyler? I’m the best version of us. The version that Ms. Thornhill brought out. I’m the stronger one. I’m the smarter one. I’m–”
Whatever he was going to say was cut off as Tyler jammed his fist into his chest and grabbed his heart. Dark Tyler looks up in shock as there was a fire in his doppelgängers eyes. His blue eyes were cold and fierce. “I’m done letting you take control and ruining my life. From now on, I’m in control!” Tyler rips the heart of Dark Tyler out and drops it to the floor beside his fallen lookalike as a sudden switch goes off inside his head.
Instead of just seeing Y/N. He could feel his body underneath his hand, his claws. He could feel everything in his Hyde form right now. He was no longer a mindless killing machine. He’s finally learned to control it, and somehow Y/N knew it too as he looked into Tyler’s eyes. “Puppy, is that you?”
Tyler felt himself shrink down to his human side as he willed his transformation to end. His claws came out of Y/N’s body as the young man winced as Tyler became human once again. A very much naked human. The Galpin boy looked at Y/N. He quickly got off him and tears formed in his eyes. “I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to hurt you.”
Y/N got up and hugged Tyler. “It’s okay, Tyler. It’s alright now. Because you did it. You took control.”
Tyler looks at him. “I did, didn't I? I can’t believe I did it.”
“I can. I told you you were strong enough to do this, and I was right.” Y/N smiled.
Tyler smiled back. “I love you, Y/N Munster.”
“I love you too, Tyler Michael Galpin.”
The two share a passion kiss that was much more heated than the first one as Tyler groans as Y/N pulls away when he feels something hard poke him. He looks down and smirks as he looks at Tyler. “Someone’s excited.” He points to Tyler’s hard on as the other boy blushed.
Y/N giggled. “Tell you what, for being so brave, why don’t you and I go all the way today?”
Tyler looks shocked. “Really?”
“Yeah, my dad says there’s no better or more romantic place to lose your virginity than in a cemetery. Especially if you do it on a gravestone.”
Tyler just chuckles as he kisses his boyfriend once again.

Tyler gripped the bat tightly as he glanced nervously at Y/N, who was sitting on the sidelines with Wednesday, before looking back at Pugsley, the young boy had a crooked smile on his face. "Ummm.... Y/N..? Are you sure about this?"
Y/N gave him an encouraging nod. "Of course. You're going to be great at Baseball-Grenade. Now, remember. You have to hit it as far as you can so Pugsley can't catch it and pull the pin and try to explode you with it before you make it through all the bases."
Tyler nods his head as Pugsley throws the grenade at him and Tyler puts in his Hyde strength to send the bomb flying high into the sky. The young Galpin boy drops the bat and runs as Pugsley chases after the grenade, Y/N cheering for Tyler to 'go go!' Wednesday looks unimpressed by Tyler's efforts.
"I give that he makes it to third base before Pugsley tags him with that live grenade." She noted as they saw Pugsley run back towards them, pulled the pin and threw the grenade towards Tyler.

“Did you and Wednesday really put piranhas in the pool at your old school?” Tyler asked as Y/N looks at him. “I mean I did a little digging and that was the main article on the Addams and Munsters.”
“I told Wednesday not to do it. I told her she should have put sharks, barracudas, or electric eels instead. Everyone knows that they’re much better swimming companions. True story. My parents swam with sharks on their honeymoon.” Y/N said.
Tyler looks slightly afraid, and slightly turned on. “Okay then.”

Shower Shenanigans
Tyler Galpin x Male Reader
Tumblr media
“That was the best game of Death Ball ever!” Y/N cried as he pushed through the door to his shared dorm,Tyler right behind him as he closed it behind.
Today, they had the Poe Cup tournament of Death Ball that pitted all the cliques of the school against each other until only one team remained. Since Y/N and Tyler were the only half breeds at the school as everyone else had supernatural parents who were the same species, they were put on a team together as they faced off against the Fangs, Furs, Stoners, Scales, Shifters, and Psychics.
It was a great tournament and Y/N and Tyler managed to come out on top, surprising not only their fellow students, but the professors as well. There were congratulations and cheers of happiness, but they were also looks of distrust and whispers of cheating about their epic win. Though, if their sweaty purple raven T-shirts were any indication that they worked their asses off to win the heavy golden trophy, they were carrying into their room. They had, in fact, not cheated at all to win.
“It was, but I feel bad though,” Tyler expressed as he sat on his bed close to the window and removed his shoes and sweaty socks.
Y/N had finished putting the trophy on the desk before he looked at the Sheriff’s son. “Why? We won this trophy fair and square. We both practiced hard for today, and we beat all the odds stacked against us. The Furs had the strength. The Fangs had the speed. The Stoners had the moxie. The Scales had the charm. The Shifters had the mimicry. And the Psychics had the perception.” Y/N listed off as he sat on his own bed across from Tyler’s and lifted up his shirt to wipe the sweat off his face as Tyler got a good look at his boyfriend's body all wet and smooth as he turned away, a blushed danced across his face.
“I mean, the coach said we could use any of our skills to win, and we did. Ty, what’s this really about?” He looks at the curly haired barista as he sighed softly. “It’s just… there are some who think we cheated because you had Hyde on your team… and I’m not sure they’re wrong.” He’s had this fear ever since his dad cut a deal with Nevermore Academy. Tyler doesn’t go to jail if he attended their school, which was ironic since Nevermore banned Hyde’s from their school 30 years ago. The same time Tyler’s mother went to school here. Now that he was here, Tyler had trouble fitting in. The people at normie school hated him. And now the outcasts of Nevermore hated him, too.
“Hydes are artists by nature, but equally vindictive in temperament. How long is it going to be before I lose control and kill someone? How long before I betray you again?” Tyler looks at Y/N, his features sad with the corners of his eyes wet from almost shed tears. He never should have trusted Laurel Gates, but she was kind to him. Caring in an almost motherish sort of way. Tyler fell for her kindness and now he was paying the price for it. He threw his head in his hands and shook his head. “I should just leave. I don’t belong here…”
Tyler was about to get up, but Y/N took a hold of his hands as he rubbed a thumb over the top of them. The barista looks up as Y/N gives him a reassuring look. “Ty… I can’t change what happened, or what Thornhill did to you. How she tortured you to make you this monster, but it doesn’t matter. Because it wasn’t your fault. It was out of your hands and all that matters is that you’re here, and you're with me. Safe and sound. I’ll take that any day.” He brought Tyler’s hands close to his undead heart. “You have people that love you. People who care for you and will miss you if you leave.”
“Really?” Tyler dared not hope that these comforting words were true. That there were people out there that could actually accept him for who he was.
Y/N smiled. “Of course. You have more people in your corner than you realize.”
The barista smiled and chuckled as he wiped away his tears. “I’m a real mess, huh?” The other boy walked up and straddled his hips as leaned close to Tyler, and kissed his lips softly. Tyler moans, putting a hand behind Y/N’s back as they continue to kiss, grinding against each other before pulling away. “That’s what I like about you.”
Tyler laughed as they kissed once again. “So, a shower sounds good right now.”
“It does. Luckily, being the winners of the Death Ball Poe Cup gives us a private bathroom.”
“Really?”
“Yup. With bragging rights for a year and a shiny trophy and a private shower,” Y/N said.
Tyler smiled. Maybe he could make it here after all. As long as he had someone as amazing as Y/N in his life, the past could stay the past. This was the present. “Private shower, huh? Can’t wait to check that out.”
“Neither can I, mister Galpin. Feel like getting wet with me?” Y/N had a suggestive smile on his face as images of them underneath the shower head and soapy handjobs flashed through Tyler’s mind as he shivered.
“You made it sound dirty on purpose, didn’t you?” Tyler asked him.
“You know it, Baby.”

Deceived
A/N: This came out darker than I meant to.
Tumblr media
“Get out!” Sheriff Galpin said as Y/N walked out of his office. He just confronted the sheriff on the fact that his son, the cute barista at the Weathervane, was the giant monster slaughtering all the innocent people around here, and taking their body parts, but could he have been right, or could this have been a lapse in judgment? Y/N quickly walked out as he headed towards the doors of the police station, but a soft, gentle voice stopped him in his tracks.
“Y… Y/N, wait!” Tyler called after him. He walks towards the other boy as his dad comes out of his office, and stands in front of his son, hand extended out. “Tyler! No, no, what are you doing?!”
Tyler looks from his father to Y/N. “I need to talk to him, dad. He was my friend.”
Y/N tried not to feel disappointed at only being Tyler's ‘friend.’ Even though he hoped for them to be more than friends, he knew they could never be as long as Tyler was the one killing people, thanks to his master. Whoever she was , or he was.
“We’re in a police station. What’s going to happen?” Tyler looked at his dad and principal Weems as he said this. His father’s jaw tightened as he cast a disgusted look at Y/N, before returning his attention to his son. “Make it quick.” He walks back into his office.
Tyler looks at Y/N as he slowly approaches him, as he backs away from him in fear? Disgust? Hate? One of those emotions. “What do you want?” Tyler looks hurt as his blues lose their boyish shine as he frowns at the halfbreed. He holds up his hands in surrender. “To ask you a question.” He and Y/N stare at each other for a few moments before Tyler begins once again. “What does it feel like?”
“What does what feel like?” Y/N asks in confusion.
Tyler smiles. It isn’t one of a boyish demeanor, or of a friendly golden retriever puppy. It’s one of malice and everything is dark in the world. Evil. “To lose.” Y/N’s heart skips a beat as Tyler slowly cocks his head to the side in a sinister manner as he walks towards Y/N. His presence creates an ominous atmosphere. “You know, at first, I’d wake up naked, covered in blood. No idea what happened.” He chuckles softly, as if it were a fond memory of his. Y/N watches as his blue eyes get darker and dark until he can practically feel those blue orbs pierce his soul with their icy stare. “But over time, I started to remember. Everything.” He licks his bottom lip like a predator would when it spots its prey while it is hungry.
“The sounds of their screams. The panic in their eyes,” Tyler said. His voice was deep and husky, his breathing was heavy as he got so close to Y/N, that he practically leaned up and kissed him on the lips if he wanted to. He didn't, but he could. “And the fear so primal that I could fucking taste it on my tongue. And it was delicious.”
Y/N tries to back away, as Tyler quickly towered over him, and pulled him into a hug as his mouth came to his ear. His warm breath on the earlobe as he whispered to him. “You have no idea what’s coming. Or how badly I'm going to get you. Make you scream as I rip this pretty boy body of yours apart. Limb. By. Limb.”
He tried to move away from him as Y/N grabbed the front of his shirt and pulled Tyler back towards him. They were locked in another staring contest as Y/N leaned up. Lips achingly close to Tyler's that they could kiss. He was done playing the victim. Time to show Tyler what a real monster looked like. Perhaps the people of Jericho were right about him, after all.
“Not if I get you first, Ty,” Y/N whispered through hot tears of anger and sadness. The sorrow that the truth brought him. That Wednesday had been right in her suspension that Tyler was the Hyde, not Xavier. And the bitter truth is that the first guy he liked. His first kiss. Was all a lie. Of course, the first boy he would kiss would turn out to be a psychotic, serial-killing monster. Y/N had a type.
His eyes turned red with black veins coming out as his fangs popped out, sharp and piercing as he roughly bit down on the soft, tender neck of the curly-haired boy. Feeling the warmth of blood rush past his lips and tongue as he gulps, it down, making sure to leave a mark of remembrance. Not exactly a Ripper like his uncle in Virginia, but hard and rough enough to become one. Tyler grunts and groans, but he won't cry out. If he did, his dad would come out and throw Y/N in jail like he had Xavier, but Tyler didn't want that. No, he wanted Y/N for himself. This was a battle of dominance between two supernatural half-breeds. Who would submit first?
Tyler will admit that his lower regions started to stir as Y/N pulled off him and pushed him to his knees. He looked up at Y/N, who had blood dripping from his mouth as some of it fell on Tyler’s face. Y/N smirks as he wipes the blood off his face and licks it off his fingertip. That shouldn't have been hot, but it was.
Y/N pulled off his fingers. “You know you look good like that, on your knees for me. Maybe I'll let you suck me before I kill you.” He kneels down towards Tyler’s level before capturing the other boy in a kiss. It wasn't sweet by any means, as Tyler could taste his own blood on Y/N’s lips. All too soon, it ended as Y/N pushed Tyler away on his ass as he stood up. “See ya around, Ty.” he winks as the vampire speeded out of the station.
Tyler tried to ignore the pain in his neck as he stood up and rubbed his lips with the blood on them as he remembered Y/N’s lips there moments ago. Maybe he wouldn’t kill him just yet. No, he wanted to have some fun first. He looked down and saw he was hard in his jeans. He sighed as he looked up with a devilish smirk.
“Game on, Y/N.”

Baby It’s Cold Outside Chapter 2
A/N: Warning: Mention of child abuse. Abuse. Running away. This is depressing as fudge, I promise next chapter will be happier.
Tumblr media
Tyler nervously watched the time on his phone change from 11:59 pm to 12:00 am. It’s midnight and his father still isn’t home yet. The young man had been pacing around the room in a nervous anticipation ever since his conversation with Y/N at the Weathervane earlier today. After his shift at work, he waited antsy for his father to come home in hopes that he could ask him for permission to spend Christmas with Y/N.
Hopefully, he said yes.
The sound of keys jingling and the front door opening up jolted Tyler out of his thoughts as he watched his dad come into the living room, still dressed in his sheriff’s uniform. His tired eyes cast a glance over at Tyler as he turned fully towards his son. “Looking for something?”
Tyler shook his head no.
“Shouldn’t you be in bed already?” Sheriff Galpin asked. He sat down in a chair and began to remove his boots. Tyler watched him pull his feet free of them before putting them on the side of the chair. “I-I couldn’t sleep. Plus, there’s something that I need to ask you.”
That got the Sheriff's attention as he looked at his son with inquisitive eyes. Eyebrows raised. “Oh, and what might that be?”
“Can I go to Y/N Munster’s house for Christmas? He invited me to go.”
“Munster invited you?” The sheriff asks.
Tyler nodded his head.
The sheriff is silent for a second, looking at Tyler. Looking him up and down and Tyler has to fight the urge to look away from him, or look down. Finally, Tyler’s dad gave him his answer, and it makes his heart sink faster than the Titanic. “No. No, I don’t want you to go with that boy. He’s a menace, and I don’t trust him or his family.”
“But dad it’s only for a few days and I’ll be back in no–”
“–What part of ‘no,’ don’t you understand, boy?” The sheriff glares up at his son as the youngest Galpin falls silent. His father’s tone was any indication that this conversation was over. No more arguing or bargaining. Tyler wasn’t going anywhere, and that was final.
Tyler nods his head in defeat as he tries not to cry in front of his dad. Cry would only make the situation worse for himself if he did. So, he sucks it up until he’s safely inside the confines of his room to cry in peace. “Yes, sir. Sorry, dad. You're right.”
Sheriff Galpin nods his head. “Good. Now, go to bed because you still have semester tests tomorrow before winter break.”
Tyler nods once again as he leaves the living room, and up the stairs towards his room as he goes inside, shuts and locks the door before the tears fall down his face. He should have seen this coming. His father was the walking personification of a macho, straight male guy. Of course, he wouldn’t want his son going to an outcast's house for Christmas. Tyler was so stupid to believe that he would say yes. He should have expected the disappointment.
He sat down on his bed and looked up at the ceiling as he cried. His dad never used to be like this. So cold. Mean. Abusive. It started after his mom passed away when he was 6. And now sheriff Galpin was always on his son’s case about everything. And the worst part of it all was that Tyler hadn't told him about Y/N. That they were dating. He wouldn’t be disappointed in him, no, he would be fucking disgusted and beat him black and blue until the homosexual came out of him. Which is why Tyler hasn’t told Y/N that he hasn’t told his dad about them. He didn’t want to put Y/N through all that, but none of that mattered because he wasn’t going to be able to spend Christmas with his boyfriend.
Tyler looked at his phone and debated in his head on whether to text Y/N the bad news. Tell him that his dad has forbidden him from going anywhere with him. He could picture his boyfriend’s face, sad and full of tears, and it was enough to make Tyler cry once again, but he couldn’t. Not now. Not ever again. Maybe it was the Hyde side of him taking over, but in the recesses of his mind, a plan started to form. A plan that would change everything for him. His life. His relationship with his father. All of him. Was he prepared to accept the consequences?
Tyler got up from his bed as he began packing his things. Throwing clothes, shoes, personal items inside a giant duffel bag. He realized that his Hyde side might be pushing him, but ultimately this was his decision. He was conscious even to know what this would mean, and that there was no turning back once he chose to go down this road. And to be honest? Tyler couldn’t care less. He was running away from the town of Jericho. From his abusive dad. All of it.
….
The next day, Tyler kept spacing out, staring at nothing. He wasn’t paying attention during his classes, and he almost failed his semester tests, catching the worried eyes of his teachers. The thought of his father easily finding out about his little plan to run away. Catching him and punishing him. It made him shiver more than the cold weather was supposed to. He shakes his head, as if that act would instantly clear his head. That’s when he focuses on his task at hand, finishing his tests so he can leave school, pick up Y/N, and go. Once he’s finished each and everyone one of said tests, he leaves the classroom thinking he’s done his best. Probably not an A+ material, but good enough to pass for the semester.
Tyler holds tightly on his backpack straps as he passes by Lucas Walker. The son of the former mayor and sheriff as he nods to Tyler in understanding. This morning before school, Tyler offered Lucas a deal. If he would say that Tyler’s staying at his house for a few days, the Galpin boy would pay him fifty dollars to keep quiet. By then Tyler will have come up with a better plan by Christmas, he hoped. Lucas’s friends eyed him suspiciously as they still resented him for hanging and being friendly to the outcasts at Nevermore. Thankfully, not knowing of his Hyde side and all the terrible things he did, because they would hate him even more than they already did.
The young halfbreed pushed through the doors of the school as the frigid air of December blew through his clothes as he walked towards his truck.
“So, you and Tyler are both coming home for Christmas?”
Y/N could practically hear the smile in his mother’s voice as she said that. He chuckles. “Yeah, Ma. Tyler and I are coming home for Christmas. Tyler’s picking me up at 1:00 pm after he gets done with his semester test and we’ll head that way.”
“Well, your father and I can’t wait to meet him. Neither can grandpa Marilyn and Eddie.”
“Did you say that the whole family was coming from the old country?” Y/N asked as he pushed the last of his clothes into his duffel bag.
“Yes, dear. All your uncles are coming home for the holidays.”
“Well, I can wait to see you guys and everyone else, but I’ve got to go.”
“Okay, honey. See you soon.”
“Bye, Ma.” Y/N hangs up the phone as he makes sure he is everything ready before Tyler gets here. Nevermore was almost empty. Almost everyone had left this morning. His cousin Wednesday and Thing had left when his Uncle Gomez and Aunt Morticia came to pick up their daughter. Enid’s parents had come to get her. Bianca’s mom came to get her. Then Ajax had left with his older brother. Then a black, sleek car pulled up to the front of the school, as Xavier got in and winked at Y/N as he left for home as well. That left Y/N and a couple of other students who were still waiting for their rides and staff members.
About 15 minutes later, Y/N gets a text from Tyler that he’s on his way.
The young Munster smiled as he got his duffel bag, his backpack, and bundled up for the cold as he walked out of his dorm room, down the stairs and out to the front, waiting for his boyfriend to come pick him up. When he saw the red of Tyler’s pickup truck, Y/N smiled widely.
It pulled up right in front of him as the windows of the passenger side rolled down and Tyler’s boyish face could be seen. “Hey, baby.”
Y/N’s heart skips a beat at the nickname as a blush chases its way onto his face as Tyler comes from the driver side and pulls Y/N close into a kiss as red colored both their cheeks. From the kiss and the cold. Tyler pulled away, his blue eyes shining and a teasing smile on his handsome face. Y/N noticed the way light snow fell on Tyler’s golden brown locks and he had to resist the urge to run his fingers through them.
“You all set?”
Tyler’s voice brought Y/N back to reality. “Yeah, all set. Just this duffel bag and backpack and I’m good.” He showed the other boy his contents as he grabbed them from his hands and put them gently in the bed of his truck as he came back and laced his fingers with Y/N’s, pulling him towards the open passenger door. Tyler then puts a hand on the small of Y/N’s back, and the curly-haired barista pushed him into the passenger seat and closed the door as he came around to the driver side and got inside as he smiled. “Alright, next stop, New Jersey?”
“Yeah. I have the directions on my phone.” Y/N messes with his device for a few minutes before the navigation system comes on. It’s about a seven hour drive if they don’t stop too much.
“Great. And I’ve got a phone charger here for our phones and I’ve got chips and soda here, but if you get hungry we can stop somewhere later if you want?” Tyler asked him.
“Sounds perfect. I can’t wait for my whole family to meet you. I’m so excited.” Y/N is practically jumping in his seat with excitement as Tyler chuckles at his boyfriend’s amusement.
“And your dad was okay with you spending Christmas with my family?”
Tyler knew this question would pop up sooner or later, but he was still shocked when he heard Y/N ask it. He had prepared a whole speech for Y/N last night about how his dad didn’t give him permission at all to come with him, and oh, there was that small little detail of him running away from home. No biggie. Instead of telling him the truth; Tyler slipped into his other half. The half of him that lied to Y/N the first time when he had been accused of being the Hyde by Wednesday. The part of himself that almost ruined things between them. And now here he was, jeopardizing that very same relationship again, thanks to his lies. He just hopes that Y/N will understand and won’t hate him for lying to him again.
Tyler then put the truck in drive as he and Y/N drove away from Nevermore as it got smaller and smaller in the background as they drove through Jericho as Tyler’s heart spiked as they passed the Now leaving Jericho sign. Any minute now, his dad’s police car would show up behind them in the rear-view mirror. Tyler would be in so much trouble. His dad would probably beat him so badly that he wouldn’t dream about running away ever again and he would forbid the barista from associating with Y/N ever again. But it didn’t matter because Y/N would hate him when he found out about Tyler’s lies and deceptions. The same old tricks. Looks like Hydes couldn’t be trusted no matter how many chances you gave them.
Tyler’s heart didn’t stop hammering until they drove past Burlington and towards New Jersey.

Baby It’s Cold Outside
A/N: Should I make a part 2?
Tumblr media
Tyler’s face lit up like a Christmas tree as he handed the little girl her hot cocoa, along with a cookie shaped like Santa Claus. Her eyes shined with child-like innocence as she glanced down at the sugary treat covered in red, black, and white frosting. “Mommy look! It’s Santa Claus.”
The girl’s mother smiled. “It is, Reagan. Tell the nice man bye.”
The little girl waved. “Bye.”
Tyler smiled back. “Bye and merry Christmas.”
“Merry Christmas.”
The girl and her mother left as Tyler went back to cleaning his counter before taking more orders for the people here at the Weathervane. He was in the middle of fixing a customer’s latte using the espresso machine as it created a thick, warm fog as he poured the steaming milk into the coffee. He looked up and almost spilled the hot drink all over his hand at the smiling face peeking out through the fog. The person had skin like a human’s, but the rest of him was quite different. He had green hues of color mixed in with his natural (insert hair color here.) His sunny disposition was one of the reasons Tyler loved him so much. His boyfriend, Y/N Munster.
“Holy crap, Y/N!”
Y/N didn’t seem bothered by the fact that he just scared the shit out of his boyfriend. It was cute when Tyler got all worked up and scared like that. “Hey, Ty. How’s it going?”
“Umm… it’s going well.” He glanced at the clock. It was 12 in the afternoon. “Shouldn’t you be at Nevermore? Not that I’m not happy to see you. I just don’t want you to get in trouble.”
“I’m finished with all my classes, and now I can enjoy my winter break.” Y/N moved away from the steamer as Tyler gave the customer their ordered latte, before turning back to Y/N. “So, what brings you by?”
Y/N held up a brown paper bag and held it out for Tyler to take. “Here. An early Christmas present for the Weathervane customers.” The barista took the bag and looked inside as he grabbed the contents of it. He held in his hand a bag of… marshmallows? Tyler looks from the white, puffy marshmallow to Y/N. “Marshmallows? Thanks, Y/N. That’s very sweet of you.” He flashed his boyish smile.
“Oh, they’re not regular marshmallows,” Y/N said.
Tyler frowned and opened the bag as he grabbed one of the fluffy spongy treats. He examined it close. It looks like a marshmallow. Even smells like a regular marshmallow. So, what did Y/N mean when he said…
Suddenly, without warning, the marshmallow opened its three eyes and grew six white legs as it began to crawl up Tyler’s arm. “Oh, shit!” He knocked the marshmallow spider from his arm as it rolled onto the counter. Tyler watched with curious fascination as the spider-like marshmallow got up and glared at Tyler with its three eyeballs. Y/N swiped the mutated treat and popped it into his mouth like it was no big deal.
Tyler honestly would have been sick or disturbed if he wasn't used to the different tendencies of his hybrid boyfriend. “Umm, what was that?”
“They're marshmallow spiders. Perfect for scalding cocoa. Especially the way they jump inside your cup. It’s the cutest thing.”
“Well, thank you for bringing them to me. I’m sure the customers will love them,” Tyler said.
“You’re welcome. Though, I must confess that’s not the only reason why I’m here,” Y/N said.
Tyler raised an eyebrow curiously. “Oh? What’s that?”
“What time is your break?”
“In 15 minutes.”
“Good. I’ll tell you then.”
“Sounds great. You want your usual?” Tyler asked his boyfriend.
“Yes, please. Scalding cocoa with a death by chocolate muffin. Extra death.”
Tyler chuckles as he makes his boyfriend’s order.
Fifteen minutes later, Tyler finds Y/N in the same position he had left him in when he brought him his order. The young man had chocolate all over his mouth as he wiped it away with a napkin. It was the cutest sight ever, as it made Tyler smile. It was unthinkable to believe that Y/N was the son of Frankenstein’s monster and a vampire, with a little witch magic on the side. He was honestly the best person that Tyler knew, and he didn’t deserve him after all he did as the Hyde.
Tyler took the seat across from him as the illumination of the Christmas lights bathed them in their spectrum of colors. “So, what did you want to talk to me about?”
Y/N took a sip of his hot beverage as he looked into Tyler’s baby blues. “I wanted to ask if you'd come home with me for Christmas?”
Tyler looks at him like he misheard him. “What? You want me to come with you for Christmas?”
Y/N nods his head. “Yeah, I know this is probably a stupid thing to ask, because you probably already have Christmas plans with your dad, right?”
That question caught Tyler off guard. Sure, he and his dad celebrated Christmas, just not together. For as long as he can remember, Tyler and his dad have never spent Christmas in the same room together. Sheriff Galpin was always working, and the holidays were no different. He would leave Christmas Eve and wouldn’t return home until late Christmas Day. Leaving Tyler to open his Christmas presents and eat Christmas dinner by himself. It was very depressing.
Despite the unfortunate circumstances of the lack of family during the holidays, Tyler loved Christmas. The snow. The decoration. The wrapping of presents. He loved it all, and he was a bit surprised that Y/N wanted to invite him to his house for Christmas. According to all the dating sites and information on google; a person was supposed to wait six months before introducing their girlfriend or boyfriend to their family. And they have only been together for two, but it felt like a really long time. It made Tyler’s heart all warm and fuzzy inside. Sure, Y/N and his family were different from everyone else, but that's what Tyler loved about his boyfriend. That he didn't care that he was different from the normies, or that Tyler was half monster.
The Galpin boy must have been thinking for a really long time because when he looked at Y/N once again; he could see embarrassment and just a hint of sadness on his features. “I'm pressuring you, and that's not fair. I'm sorry, I shouldn't have asked.”
“No, it's okay, Y/N. I'm glad you asked me.”
Y/N looked at him. “Really?”
Tyler smiled his boyish smile again. “Really. And if the offer still stands, I’d like to go with you. If that's okay?”
Y/N smiled widely as he hugged his boyfriend from across the table. “Of course, it's okay. More than okay. This is going to be the best Christmas ever.”
Tyler smiled. Yeah, it sure was going to be. Because for once he wouldn't be spending the holidays alone for the very first time.

Baby It’s Cold Outside Chapter 3
A/N: Chapter 3 is up.
Tumblr media
It was silent between them.
It wasn’t that awkward silence where you fill it with small talk back and forth, but the comfortable kind. The quiet you get when you’re in your room, comfortably lying on your bed as you watch a movie or listen to music. Tyler’s hands had been tight on the wheel; his knuckles white into the first four hours of their trip. He looked back every mile until he was sure his father wasn’t following them. The barista was surprised his boyfriend hadn’t picked up on his nervous energy. Y/N could smell fear, thanks to his vampire senses, and could hear the slight change in someone’s heart, so Tyler figured either Y/N didn’t notice his uneasiness or he was waiting for the right moment to catch Tyler and confront him on his lies.
Tyler's stomach did knots at that. God, he hoped not. He could handle his father hating him, but Y/N? He would die if he did. The sound of Y/N’s singing brought Tyler out of his thoughts as he watched him sing to the radio song of God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen, but he changed the words to them. Probably, the version he sang with his own family.
“It's Christmas, and the graveyard folk has all come to play. They're going to make a fuss and walk around causing disarray.” Tyler began to chuckle. His first laugh in a while. His boyish features were displayed as Y/N looked at him and frowned. “What’s so funny, Puppy? Aren’t those the words?”
“The words are much different, but I like your version better. Sounds more fun.”
“It is. Remind me to teach you the full song later,” Y/N said.
Tyler smirks. “Deal.”
Y/N looks at his boyfriend as he has his eyes glued onto the road. His smooth skin and his golden brown curls, along with his blue eyes, were dressed in flannel over a white shirt with a brown jacket. Y/N’s heart skipped a beat. His mother told him that her undead heart came to life the moment she met his father, and Y/N wondered if that was the same feeling that he was experiencing right at this moment. A boyfriend who was half normie, half Hyde. His family would be so proud of him. Tyler's head turned towards Y/N, who looked away. Tyler smiled once again. Busted. “You were checking me out, weren't you, Y/N?”
Y/N blushed. “No…”
“You were!” Tyler cried. “What were you thinking about, mmh? Something naughty?” He couldn’t help how his smile grew as Y/N squirmed underneath Tyler’s teasing stare. “Perhaps, kissing out in the snow? Or maybe handjobs underneath the Christmas tree?” Tyler was surprised those words just came out of his mouth. He was never one for dirty talk. I guess his Hyde side was shining through and through.
The Munster boy looks at him, red in the face, but he smiles. “Sorry, I just forgot how beautiful you are. You’re like those paintings in museums. Absolute perfection. I’m lucky to have you as my boyfriend.” Tyler’s heart did not skip at being called Y/N’s ‘boyfriend.’ Nope, not one bit. The way it rolled off Y/N’s so smoothly that you just had to believe that they belonged together. It just made sense, but at the same time, it couldn’t. Not because of Y/N, no, this was all Tyler’s fault. He couldn’t give Y/N his everything like the other male had him. The curly-haired boy couldn’t even stand up to his father and say Y/N was his boyfriend with pride because he was scared of the repercussions of letting his homophobic dad know that he was very much not of the straight guy variety.
Y/N deserved someone happily out of the closet instead of a closeted, psychotic, curly-haired bartisa with daddy issues. Y/N’s probably told his family about him, and Tyler’s not sure if he’s ready for the expectations or rejections. The young man was so much into his head that he barely registered that Y/N was calling his name. “Uh, What….?”
Tyler turned to see Y/N looking at him, all traces of a blush gone as he glanced at the barista with concerned but hopeful eyes. “I said can we stop somewhere to get something to eat? I’m hungry.” The supplies of soda and chips could only take them so far into their journey, and Tyler was surprised that Y/N hadn't piped up early to ask to stop to get some food. He felt bad. He should have asked. What kind of gentleman doesn't ask if someone is hungry? His face reddened with embarrassment. “Sorry, Y/N, I should have asked if you were hungry sooner.”
“It’s fine. My fault for not asking before, but you looked so insistent on getting to New Jersey that I didn’t want to bother you.”
Tyler flushed even more at that. Y/N did notice Tyler’s off-putting nature in his efforts to get as far away from Jericho as he could, and in the process, he disregarded his boyfriend’s feelings and needs. “I’m sorry. Shit, that was stupid of me.”
“No, it wasn’t,” Y/N said. “You were probably eager to get out of Jericho for a while. It’s okay, Ty. No need to beat yourself over that.”
The sheriff’s son cleared his throat. “Right, so is there a place in mind?” He looked at their gage, and they were close to running on empty. They needed to put some gas in soon. Otherwise, Y/N would be a vampire speeding them the rest of the way. It was a funny thought that plagued the corners of Tyler’s mind. Seeing Y/N caring for Tyler's bridal style as he speeded them to his home in New Jersey. “Well, there’s a diner near a gas station if that’s okay with you?” Y/N looks at his phone’s GPS. Tyler nods his head. “Yeah, that’s perfect. Kill two birds with one.”
Y/N frowns. “A stone? Oh, no, no, no. If you want to kill birds, grandpa says you should use a throwing ax or arrows. More effective.”
Tyler laughed.
Once Tyler guided his truck into the parking lot of the Silver Diner, he and Y/N got out as the snow lightly clung to their jackets and on top of Tyler’s curls and Y/N’s red beanie that he did not steal from Tyler’s room. The door chimed like Christmas bells as they opened it and were greeted by the old-fashioned classic American diner as the jukeboxes played Christmas songs. The place looked like something out of the sitcom Happy Days. With its pink fluorescent lights all around the booths that were red in leather, with miniature jukeboxes at every table. It was awesome.
They walk towards the booths as customers, which consist of regulars, truckers, and tourists, stare at them as they walk past them. Tyler knew why they were staring. Their judgment gazes were the same ones as back in Jericho. Hateful. Fear filled. He briefly wonders if they would look at him the same way if they knew he wasn't one of them. If Y/N noticed their judgmental stares, he didn’t say anything as a waitress approached them. “For two? You and your…. umm… brother want a counter seat or a booth?”
Y/N looked at her, an exciting shine in his eyes. “He’s my boyfriend, ma’am. Not my brother.”
“Oh, sorry about that. I just assumed that.” She looks at Y/N’a green hues. “That’s some mighty fine Christmas-colored hair you got there.”
“Thank you. It’s the hair I was born with,” Y/N smiles as the waitress frowns in confusion.
“Booth will be great, right?” Tyler asks in a hurry to avoid the awkward stares their waitress is giving Y/N.
“Yeah, sounds great!”
They were led through the aisles, and people stared at them as they passed. Tyler put a protective hand on Y/N’s shoulders until he slid into one side of the booth. Tyler slid into the other as he looked over the menu. So many different choices to make as he looks up at Y/N as he’s deep in thought about the food he wants to order. The barista was surprised to learn that Y/N doesn’t have to feed on blood to survive; he could stay on normie food just fine. He only drank blood to keep his vials normal and healthy.
“You know what you’re going to get?” Tyler asked from across the booth.
Y/N looks up at him. “Yup. You?”
“Yup.”
The waitress, Mary, her name tag stated, made her way back to the table, perching a hand on her hip as she held up her order notepad. “You boys ready?” she asked.
“I’ll have your double bacon cheeseburger, please,” Tyler politely said.
“Fries or tots?”
“Fries.”
“And what to drink?”
“Coke.”
The waitress turned to Y/N. “And for you?”
“The same, please. No onions, and can I order your cakes in a pan, please?” It took a moment to register to Tyler that his boyfriend meant pancakes. Mary wrote their order down and looked at them. “I’ll be back with your drinks. Did you want those pancakes before or after your meal, sweetie?” She looks at Y/N, and Tyler’s pleasantly surprised look of bewilderment is gone. Maybe not all normies were so bad.
“After.”
“You got it.” She walks away.
It wasn’t long before they received their food, as they settled into a comfortable conversation that should have been impossible for a normie, well, half normie and an outcast, but it wasn’t like that between them. When they talked, it was like the rest of the world faded away to just them, and there were no labels in their world—just peace and safety.
Tyler felt himself finally relax as he laughed at something Y/N said. His boyish features are on full display, including his dimples too. He honestly left his worries behind him, and now he’s going to enjoy the holidays with his boyfriend. The consequences could suck it. There was an ease that settled in Tyler’s soul when he reached over and stole fries from Y/N’s plate. Y/N didn’t mind, though; he smiled as Tyler munched on his stolen French fries.
“So, who’s coming to your family’s Christmas party? Your uncles from the old country?” Y/N’s uncles, who lived in Transylvania and other places, were coming to the states for Christmas. Y/N nodded. “Yup. There’s uncle Charlie, my dad's twin brother. There’s uncle Phantom of the Opera. He has a beautiful voice that shatters glass. There’s uncle Gilbert from the Black Lagoon and uncle Stefan. He’s from Italy.
“Well, I can’t wait to meet them.”
“And they can’t wait to meet you, too,” Y/N said. “That’s okay, right? I told my family about you, and they’re so excited to see you, Ty.”
“Really?” Tyler asked. “Even though I’m half normie and a Hyde?”
“Of course. Grandpa says I found myself a keeper when he learned you were a Hyde. He practically gave me his blessing for a marriage proposal. He says Hydes are like royalty back in Transylvania.”
Tyler hadn’t expected that answer. He expected to be turned away as soon as they discovered he was a murderous killing machine, but the Munsters liked that quality in a future-in-law. Go figure. The curly-haired boy licked his lips as his blue orbs looked at Y/N. “I hope that I don’t disappoint them. I mean, it wouldn’t be the first time that I didn’t live up to someone’s expectations.” And just like that, the angst is back. Thinking about his father is back in full force as Tyler frowns.
Y/N frowns, too, as he puts a hand over Tyler’s. “Ty, what are you talking about? My family’s going to love it as much as I do. You could never disappoint them or me.” The promise in his boyfriend’s voice was so commanding and powerful that Tyler just had to believe him. That strangers were willing to welcome someone they’d never seen in their home. It was almost enough to make the Galpin boy cry. Almost. “You think so?”
Y/N smiled. “I know so.”
…..
After their waitress brought them their stack of pancakes that they shared down the middle; their diner date was pretty uneventful, except for who should pay for their dinner. Tyler and Y/N both fenced back and forth before it was agreed upon that Tyler would pay for dinner, if Y/N paid for the gas. Once they had left the diner and filled up Tyler’s truck with enough gas to get them to Y/N’s house, they set off once again for the road as they finished the last three hours of their trip.
Tyler drove through the town of Mockingbird Heights as the GPS guided them towards the street of 1313 Mockingbird Lane.
Once they had arrived at their intended destination, Tyler got out of the car and opened the other side of the door for his boyfriend as he turned towards the house and gasped. The house, or mansion a better word for it, was a Gothic Victorian style. The house stands on a property enclosed by a stone wall and the yard is full of weeds and dead trees. Tyler’s never seen a house like this in life before, only in the movies and tv shows. It was amazing.
Y/N successfully grabbed all their luggage in one go thanks to his Frankenstein like strength as he guides Tyler through the gates of his home with a giant ‘M’ on the bars. As they head up the porch towards the house, the barista notices some Christmas decorations on the front lawn. There’s all the colorful and festive lights surrounded by a giant spider web with mechanical spiders. There’s also the snowman getting his head cut off by the executioner at the guillotine. Over and over again. And the rabid reindeers on top of the house.
“Wow, this place is pretty bleak and horrifying,” Tyler said. Then he realized how that sounded and blushed as he stammered out an apology. “Y/N, I’m sorry I didn’t mean too–”
“–Wow, Puppy, that was so sweet of you to say.” Y/N smiled. “My family sure did try hard and to hear you say those kind words about it makes me smile.”
Tyler rubbed the back of his head nervously. “You’re welcome.” Bad and bloody, we're good here. They were compliments.
They stood on the other side of the door as Y/N set their stuff down and knocked. The whole mansion shook underneath Y/N’s fist as Tyler tried to steady his nerves. Any minute now, he was going to be meeting his boyfriend’s family as soon as that door opened. Hopefully, he doesn’t screw things up. Sensing his uneasiness, Y/N grasped his boyfriend’s hand and gave it a gentle squeeze and a small smile. Tyler smiled back.
The sound of thundering footsteps could be heard as the front door opened up to reveal a hulking figure about 8-foot-tall if Tyler had to guess. He had green skin with a square shaped face, a scar on his forehead, bolts on either side of his neck and black hair. He wore a gray coat over a black sweatshirt with pants and giant boots. Probably the biggest shoes Tyler’s ever seen. Despite his monstrous appearance, he had a sunny disposition about him like his son, as his blue eyes sparkled when he looked down at Y/N and Tyler.
He let out a loud braying bellow as he grabbed Y/N into a hug. Tyler could hear the faint crush of bones and he was concerned, but Y/N seemed ecstatic. “Y/N! Good to see you, my son!”
Y/N giggles as he hugs his father back and Tyler hears bones crunching underneath Y/N’s arms. “You too dad!” They separated as Y/N’s father turned towards Tyler. “Oh, and just who is this young man?”
Tyler opens his mouth to speak, but Y/N beats him to the punch. “Dad, this is my boyfriend, Tyler Galpin. Tyler, this is my dad, Herman Munster,” He introduces the two. “He’ll be staying for the holidays and maybe New Year’s before the spring semester.”
Herman stares at Tyler, and he has to fight the urge to shrink underneath his intense gaze. Finally, Herman breaks into a smile as he holds out his hand. “How do you do, Tyler?” The son of the sheriff looks at the outreach hand and grasps it with his own. It’s surprisingly cold to the touch. He shakes his hand as he politely says , “It’s nice to finally meet you, sir,” Tyler says, proud to hear that his voice doesn’t shake or crack.
“Likewise, young man. Though he’s certainly less hairy than the boyfriend I had when I was your age, Y/N.” Herman laughs at his own joke.
“Seriously, dad jokes? Are you trying to embarrass me?” Y/N blushed as Tyler looks at him and giggles. Herman smiles. “Why don’t you both head inside and I’ll take your bags upstairs?” Y/N nodded as he grabbed Tyler’s hand and led them into the mansion.
Y/N led Tyler past a staircase as Herman traveled up said stairs with all their stuff in his hands as the barista was led into the living room. The first thing Tyler noticed were the webs. The whole living seemed to be covered in it, like Spider-Man had a fight here and didn’t clean up after himself. There were candles lit all around with an old-fashioned clock, an electric chair, a tv, and a fireplace with a couch and a coffee table. There was also a giant harp too.
“Hope you don’t mind, but my mom cleaned this place up for our arrival,” Y/N said.
“That’s fine. No problem at all.” Tyler smiles.
From another room, a beautiful and slender woman with long dark hair with flex’s of gray mixed in and greenish skin, wears an ankle-length pale pink gown that appears faded and old, a bat-shaped medallion around her neck as she is accompanied by an older looking man who also has green skin. He wears a tuxedo with crazy curly gray and white hair. They stop when they see the two boys.
“Ma! Grandpa!” Y/N whooshed towards them and hugged them tight as they did the same to him. “Oh, dear, it’s wonderful to have you home for Christmas, Y/N.”
“It certainly is. Especially with the new blood you brought into the family.” The old man looks at Tyler, a gleam in his eyes as in a blink of an eye; he’s right in front of Tyler, grasping his arm. His fangs come out as the curly-haired young man watches him attempt to bite his arm.
“Grandpa!” Y/N speeds towards them and gets in between as he stands in front of Tyler protectively. “You can’t just bite my boyfriend’s arm.”
“That’s right, grandpa you can’t. You didn’t even ask him for permission first.” the woman says. “Besides, Y/N already has a claim over him and will bite him if he so chooses to do so.”
“Ma, I told you, vampires, my age, don't bite people anymore. It's not considered cool.”
“Cool?” the old man asks. “Back in my day, it was the coolest thing about being a vampire and suddenly now it's not? Your grandma would be turning in her grave right now.”
“What are you talking about? She always turns in her grave.” Y/N gives Tyler an apologetic look. “Sorry about that, Tyler. That was very rude of my grandfather.” He glares at the old man.
“Oh, so this is Tyler?” The woman asks Y/N.
“Wait, he’s Edward Hyde’s great, great, great great, grandson?” The old man gasps.
“Yup, he sure is. Ma, grandpa, this is Tyler. Ty, this is my mom, Lily, and my grandpa, Sam Dracula, Count of Transylvania.”
“Hello, there. Nice to meet you both,” Tyler said.
“You too, Tyler. So wonderful to finally meet you in person. Y/N’s told us all about you,” Lily said.
“He sure has.” Grandpa smiles as he pats them both on the shoulders. “He’s a keeper, Y/N. You have my blessing.” He leans close to Tyler. “Catch ya later, your highness.” He walks out of the room.
“Where are Marilyn and Eddie?” Y/N asks.
“Oh, Marilyn is on a date, and it’s nighttime. I suppose I should wake up Eddie from his sleep. Don’t want him wasting a beautiful night in bed,” Lily said.
“Speaking of bed, Tyler and I are going to get some sleep. It was a long trip.” Y/N noticed Tyler trying to hide his yawn.
Lily nods her head. “Of course, dear. I made sure to clean your room with fresh cobwebs and dust.”
Y/N leads Tyler away from the living room and up the stairs, passing his father as they go up and he goes down. “Going to bed, son? In the middle of the night?”
“Yeah, pops, we’re pretty tired.”
“Alright then, son. You and Tyler have a bad night's sleep and sweet nightmares,” Herman said. Y/N nods and kisses his father’s cheek goodnight as he leads Tyler towards his room.
When Herman comes down the stairs, he finds his wife waiting for him. “Oh, Herman, do you really think they should be sleeping in the same room together? You know how boys are.”
“I do, Lily. Because I am one,” Herman says.
“Would you two stop worrying?” Grandpa said. “Y/N’s a responsible young man and he would never do anything inappropriate. Besides, when I was his age, my parents let my partners stay in my coffin all the time.”
“Yeah, that’s because most of them were dead on their feet.” Herman says with a loud bellow.

Wednesday: “You sicken me, Y/N.”
Y/N: “Why’s that?”
Wednesday: “You have allowed yourself to be a pawn in the inconsequential high school social click. And it’s weakened you to show any affection to those great abominations over there. They’re an insult to abominations.” *looks at Tyler and Xavier*
Y/N: “Umm.... Wednesday? You’re literally holding Enid’s hand right now.”
Wednesday: “That is different.”
