hi heres art so you pay attention to me now go read the tags

#ive been rewatching episode 7 like its the only thing on youtube and made note of many things #first off. the solver can only have one host. nori mentions skyn wants to kill off all the other solver hosts (with the dds) and disregards #the idea of both uzi and doll being its current host when they get chased #plus the main solver possessions only occur when skyn is out of the picture (the fightt in ep 7 is only after n decapitates “tessa”)#solver uzi is possible too but i dont count her cause she doesn't have the yellow #personal theory is that its more an instinctual response to overheating or something and not full on possession #second off nori calls the solver cyn. how does she know that name #cyn was on earth and only showed up to copper 9 recently and i presume nori's been here her whole life #it probably wasn't the other dds cause none of them made it down and they're all more savage beasts #since cyn specifies n's team retained their personalities and that makes me think the other teams didnt #also also we should've immediately questioned tessa arriving in the same type of pod as the mds when they were revealed to not be sent by j #im running out of characters also the people who dont like when i use tags like this can bite me #murder drones #murder drones nori #artori? that sounds cool #ill probably just stick with nori though #i have so many solver heart refs now #art #episode 7 #murder drones episode 7 #murder drones episode 7 spoilers #using the same black for shadows as my lineart doesn't work when i have to draw thin things over it #murder drones spoilers

Missing the same person so painfully.#The grieving takes very different form but they both still grieve the same person - essentially in isolation from everyone else.#Other notes I *need* to add: The end of ep 13 took me out with the falling scream. #uh just a heads up if you expand the tags to see all there's. a lot. very long #amphibian #frog #poison dart frog #based on my most popular frog to date (day 651)#inspired by everyone pointing out what they think it looks like #here's a fun secret fact the original guy is actually a phantasmal poison dart frog (Epipedobates tricolor)#(according to the original artists title of the drawing)#not Anthony's poison arrow frog (Epipedobates anthonyi)#i feel too awkward to really point it out though because they look the exact same. i cannot tell if there is a difference #im half convinced the same frog was just discovered and named twice #its very curious btw if you go on the (english) wikipedia page for either species it doesn't mention the other #while hereptiles.info (no idea if this is a trustworthy site) lists both names as common names for the same frog (incorrectly??)#while inaturalist lists them as two different frogs. curiously with tricolor having wayyyyy fewer photos #ok anyway that's my rant i went on a whole journey trying to figure out if these are the same frog or not and i have no answer #i did some more 'research' and i am more confused. some sources seem to imply they are now considered the same species ( e. tricolor)#i think my conclusion is i am willing to agree the drawing looks more like e. anthonyi. it seems like tricolor is generally less vibrant re #and the white is darker and more green?#i feel like thumblr should stop me from typing more in the tags at this point this is a whole essay #at this point i am failry convinced this is specifically the Santa Isabel frog. isthat the real subspecies or morph or whatever #or just the name pet sites are using to sell it??#i even found some sources (frog selling websites) refering to it as “Epipedobates Anthonyi 'Santa Isabel' Phantasmal Poison Dart Frog” lol #Anyways if you read this far hi. species are confusing. i am not a frog scientist #the first few tags are like an hour old now i just kept trying to figure it out and adding more tags

Just thinking about Dick freaking out over losing his title of best uncle to Jason.

Dick showing up to take Lian out and give Roy a break only to hear she's having a fun day with Jason

Dick walking into the room with the toy he knows Lian really wanted, only to find out Jason got it for her first.

Dick showing up to game night at Roy's only to find Jason already there.

Just Dick getting increasingly frustrated and his rival Jason having no clue well the the rest watch on in humor and exasperation. Roy finds the who thing hilarious.

Picturing it all coming to a head when Dick is babysitting Lian and she shows him a new photo they put up. Dick all dejectivly being like, "look, it's you and your favorite uncle."

The pure shock and joy he feels when Lian tells him he wrong and her favorite uncle is "you uncle Dickie, duh!"

The door opening and Lian shouting "Papa!" As dick turns to excitedly tell Roy what Lian said only to see it's Jason who's holding Lian.

“Woah, you really are a fruitloop.” Phantom gasped as they entered the main room of Lex's penthouse.

“What does that even refer to?” Lex grumbled.

“Typically a rich, narcissistic, evil dude that wants to kill my dad, marry my mom, tries to adopt me, and kick my sister out. Granted you are better than OG Fruitloop so far, you're only the first three.” Phantom stated, arms crossed and nodding, as if everyone has that problem.

Lex just stared at the teen.

“What?”

“First, you just met me, how do you know I am the first three to begin with? And second, you still accepted candy from a stranger. I would ask how you aren't dead yet, but that seems to have long passed.” Lex said, extremely unamused at the naive child.

Phantom shrugged “Didn't die by kidnappers-”

“Astonishingly” Lex muttered.

“-Also, vibes. You feel like a fruitloop and my radar hasn't led me wrong yet.” Phantom shrugged again. “Anyway, what do we do now?”

Lex sighed.

“Well, we will check to see if Mr. Warden was truthful in who can see you or not.” Lex walked to a panel on the wall and spoke. “Mercy, you are needed.”

“Do you just demand everyone around you?” Phantom snarked.

“Employees are meant to be told to do things. They do it and get paid. I doubt you would understand since you likely never had a job other than household chores.” Lex flatly stated.

“Oof, didn't have to call me out like that.” Phantom put his hand on his chest as if shot, exaggerating his offense.

The door opened and a tall blonde with a no nonsense attitude and a suit to match walked in.

“What do you need, Lex.” Mercy asked.

Phantom whistled. “She could probably give my mom a run for her money in a fight.”

Lex ignored him. “I think I will be staying in for the rest of today. Inform the others that I will not be bothered until next week.”

Mercy raised her eyebrow. “And that is including the interview with Mr. Kent and Mrs. Lane tomorrow?”

Lex swore. “As much as I would love to miss that, Lane would find any excuse to drag my name further in the mud. I will attend that, but all other meetings will be rescheduled.”

“Would it kill you to say ‘please’ and ‘thank you’?” Phantom tsked.

Lex ignored him as Mercy acknowledged the orders and left the penthouse.

“It is safe to assume that no one can see nor hear you. Mercy would not have tolerated your comments, pity.” Lex deadpanned.

Phantom snorted in laughter.

I think this is one of my favorite lines from the Wraith route because of (imo) how much the meaning changes depending on if you got there via Spectre or Nightmare. For Spectre, it honestly strikes me as a genuine question. Why are you doing this to her? If you're on the Spectre route, you presumably already know the Narrator can't really be trusted, since you had to reject his reward to get here. What are you hoping to gain from continuing to hurt her? For Nightmare, it honestly just makes me sad. As the Shifting Mound describes her, "She desires only companionship, but the only thing she knows is how to hurt." This line feels like a plea from someone who genuinely doesn't understand why you keep rejecting her. She wants to be with you, but she just can't understand how to do that in a way which doesn't hurt you.
