Random talking, but despite the problems I've had with the PPG fandom.

It's the only fandom where I have people who aren't exactly friends, and some who aren't even mutuals. But whom we both have a mutual respect for each other. The kind where if we saw each other on the street we wouldn't exactly start chatting but we'd give a nod of understanding at each other and go on our way.

IDK I don't have that in many other fandoms aside from Pibby possibly, but PPG I know that for sure.

Lily looked over at her companion, as she began to lather the shampoo into her long golden hair. a soft sigh escaping her as she does so, before moving to rinse it out. closing her eyes to relax her mind wondered. She could still believe what trouble she had ended up in this time. A dragon, a human dragon that was invisible to the rest of the world. It truly was a lot to take in.

Once she was finished washing up she moved and grabbed a towel and began to dry herself. she looked over her shoulder at the man in her bathtub. " I'm gonna assume that wrapping a towel around my self would count as not remaining naked? " she asked him with a small smile almost knowing that his eyes would be watching her every move

[ Kotone Visual / Style Progression ]

A big part of Kotone's Pokemon journey in Paldea, Kitakami, and Blueberry Academy is discovering her sense of individuality and style. Because of this, she goes through a few design changes from the start of the game to the end of the dlc. I will go through each one and the significance in order.

1. Start of the journey — this outfit, while it does not match Kotone's energy, is very important for a key reason. When Kotone was enrolled in UVA Academy, her mother wanted her to make a good first impression. Being a former contest star (in the Cute and Beauty categories), she took it upon herself to tweak the school uniform to make it more fashionable and cute. The shorts became a skort, allowing for freedom of movement while still being more feminine, and Kotone's hair was done up by her mother as well to keep her hair mostly out of the way while framing her face. Kotone is notably not comfortable in this outfit, but feels a need to try and maintain it because her mom put a lot of effort into it and she does want to make friends and get off on the right foot with the people she meets at school.

2. While journeying through Paldea, helping Arven, challenging Team Star, and battling Nemona, Kotone starts to really admire the people around her. How open they are in their aesthetics. In particular Team Star stand out to her. After defeating one of the Team Star bases, she asks Penny if she'll come with her to go shopping. She eventually lands on an outfit that shows off her own style and interests, while still being perfectly suited for her adventurous spirit, moreso even. Though she continues to wear her hair the way her mother did it, unsure how she'd feel about Kotone changing it completely. She carries this style through to the end of the events in Area Zero.

3. When Kotone arrives in Kitakami, she's not expecting to be invited to the Festival of Masks, let alone have an outfit ready for her. When Kieran and Carmine's grandmother does her hair, it feels right. I feels like her. Kieran commenting on it looking good also goes a long way for solidifying this as her new style. It's easy for her to replicate, and the high ponytail doesn't get in the way when she's adventuring.

4. This outfit is the combination of Kotone's personal style coming together finally. A tweaked version of the Uva Academy Uniform with her own style and comfortability taken into account. This is how you'd see her when attending Uva Academy following the Kitakami school trip.

5. When invited to attend Blueberry Academy, Kotone took the opportunity to make some adjustments to the uniform there as well. Though she could've kept the shiny Umbreon hoodie, she opted to switch it out when attending Blueberry for a fresher look that lent itself to this school's uniform better.

6. Outside of the academies, when on break or not in class, Kotone is usually sporting something a lot more relaxed. She lets her natural hair down and often wears things that she's not worried about getting scuffed or dirty if she chooses to go out for some adventuring. She leans towards browns and greens a lot in her casual clothes.
