Happy Halloween, everyone!
I've got some good news - I've finished tallying up the results of the favourite anime survey and can now, finally, reveal what Tumblr's favourite anime actually are. To start with, I'd like to thank everyone who responded - yes, all 1172 (wow!) of you - and to apologise for he delay in actually getting these results out. For anyone who needs a reminder, these results are based on how many points each anime received - a first place ranking was worth five points, a second or third place ranking was worth four, a fourth or fifth place ranking was worth three, a sixth-tenth place ranking was worth two, and a eleventh-twentieth place ranking was worth one. When multiple anime had the same number of points, the anime with the most first-place votes was placed higher. The results are below the read more right here - I hope you enjoy reading!

Gimana coba orang mau percaya sama alokasi-alokasi uang pajak begitu. Bingung.
Perdagangan lagi lesu, kalau usahamu rame - alhamdulilah.
Tapi sungguh, jangan pernah berputus asa. Jangan!

Would you write a Toranaga x reader who was traveling with John Blackthorne?
Untethered, floating aimlessly
Standing before the great lord, your head hung low with your eyes trained to the ground and unable to meet his gaze. But your ears bore witness to your surroundings; the howling winds of nightfall, the crimson tent's flap flying in the breeze. Had your feet not been covered, you would have felt sand cling to your toes. For a moment you are thankful you are in this clothing .. but the weight of it hangs on your shoulders.
Just like the weight of his silence, you think inwardly as you waited patiently for whatever words would come out the Lord's mouth.
Biting the inside of your cheek, you finally raised your eyes to see the scene unfold before you. Yoshii Toranaga, holding his infant daughter in his arms .. he looked down at her, his lips upturn in a small but recognisable smile of content. Moving slightly in a motion of rocking the child who rests in her peaceful slumber. You've never seen him this peaceful before, not ever since you met him.
The girl seemed like she was too little to even fit in his arms but she did, perfectly so. An image too good to be true.
Toranaga lifts his had and his eyes rest on yours. "You did well."
You did well. At those three simple words, you gleamed softly.
In your time in Ajiro village, you had taken up the task to learn as much of the Japanese language as you could. Ten words a day, you had requested of your teacher, Lady Mariko. But she adjusted them to five, less you wanted to go to sleep with a headache and forget the pronunciations which was most likely what happened.
"What have you decided to name her?" Toranaga quarries in a hum.
Yes, it is true. You have excelled in learning as much words as your brain could handle. But you were still new to stringing up sentences with said words. Your head turned to Lady Mariko, awaiting his translation.
Swallowing up every anxiety you had in you, your eyes interlocked with his. "I have." Your voice began, leveled. "Mariko will be her name. For she has stood by me like no one else has since my arrival."
Toda Mariko blinked, hesitating her interpretation for her Lord as her heart swells with gratitude. Her eightfold fence rattled but she charged on, guarding it dutifully. She dips her head in a bow. "You honor me greatly, N/N-sama."
Lord Toranaga's eyes narrowed lightly, brows contorted in confusion and they rested as Lady Mariko translates for you. He didn't dare miss the warmth the two women shared and found it endearing that you were finding a footing in his country, a home in the form of one his most trusted people.
A small smile settles on his lips, looking at you. "A fitting name indeed."
The Lord comes over to you, carefully placing Mariko in the safety of your arms. Your heart swells with wonder of her being here .. for a long time she had been but an imagination, a dream. And now you're finding it hard to believe she was actually here.
You had expected so much from Toranaga's arrival. The first image of him that came to your mind when he saw you, was him raging and speaking so quickly in long sentences you didn't even understand. And you just staring at him like a deer, surveying for any predators in the area.
However, you weren't going to lie because you deserved his anger, his lecture. Hiding a pregnancy wasn't a small thing...
Still, you couldn't take your mind off of the day you two parted. You had argued with him on the ship sailing to Ajiro village after the escape at Osaka. Needing to let out your pent up emotions to the sole purpose of your anguish and frustration. Him.
When you were first brought before him along with John Blackthorne, you had been but a stranger to him. A barbarian. At first you had no knowledge as to why he had strike up the deal to set John and his crew free in exchange of you being his concubine.
It seemed like a deal for his own personal gain which you righteously refused. But just as John had a slippery tongue when it comes to vile words, he did so when telling lies. Like the lie he told Toranaga of you being his sister, to ensure that you were close to him whatever the circumstances was.. a lie in which still is hidden til today. And then he goes on to accept the offer on your behalf.
Some brother he was.
Lady Mariko was there to help you in any way she could and you were grateful in that aspect. Yet that still didn't mean it was sunshine and roses from then on.
The escape from Osaka took place.
You had thought, since you were Toranaga's concubine he would protect you, at the very least. But when you climbed on that Portuguese ship at the bay, and the captain said he wanted you and Blackthorne out and back to the shores of Osaka, Toranaga came out of the captain's quarters and relied his words.
Betrayed.
You were no stranger to betrayal. It was the root cause of you coming here in the first place. The son of a lady you were serving had his eyes of for you, one day gifting you his grandmother's ring on Christmas. A little bird tweeted in the kitchens you were working in and you found yourself in front of the Mistress who had her son beside her, questioning him on the jewellery. The bastard denied ever giving it to you.
Branded a thief, you knew sooner than late that you would be sentenced to transportation.
Your nan always told you to be wary of men, they will take advantage of you if you don't.
That's why you descended upon the Portuguese ship in tow behind John, because you were just a pawn in whatever game the Lord of Kanto was playing.
You both narrowly escaped. That was one thing about you that you shared with John. Your drive to live ...
For the few coming hours, you had Mary that drive nor will ..
Unable to face Toranaga after his betrayal, you went to the back of the ship that courses through the waves. Somehow, you ended on the other side of the helm of the ship, the heal of your legs balancing on a protruding beam. Your mind had conjured up a peaceful oblivion, that was enough to make you do that.
As you gaze down at the reflection of the starry littered sea, that's all you wished to be engulfed in. A gleaming heaven, a calm nowhere and everywhere at the same time. Not a raging cold ocean that would drown you the moment you let go.
The moment you let go ..
It never came. Because Toranaga was there.
He stopped you. Obviously it didn't work. You were a stubborn girl from the day you were born.
Your mind was made up. You nothing here in these, you had no one, you were no one.
By the time you reached Ajiro village, no words were shared between you and Lord Toranaga. You stood next to Blackthorne as the formalities went on with Toranaga inspecting his vassal's army.
Then you saw him sailing away on the boat, gracefully raising his fan as the army cheered him on. Nagakado had said he had urgent business and that for the coming months, the gun regiment needed to be trained.
There was only a moment where you interlocked eyes with his as the boat took him away. A foreign feeling tugged at your heart and you ignored it as you wondered beneath all that anguish inside you. Was he ever feeling it too?
Now how were you to bring up being with child in all that whirlwind of pain and betrayal and loneliness?
Thankfully the loneliness was cured.
You found a friend in Usami Fuji. She had orders from Toranaga to be John's consort and you knew a great deal about him spending time on the Erasmus, in that long, excruciating voyage. She was thankful for you immensely.
With time, she helped you adjust to the life growing in your womb as she was once a mother too.
Lady Mariko was there, too.
She was your translator, your closest confidant. You had begun to accept her as the older sister you always wished and dreamed you had. Most of your siblings you had to see go because of famine. You were much accustomed to death around you.
So when a new life came, your heart was heavy with joy. Your eyes shed tears of content for the very first time since you arrived in this island country. In your daughter, you had something that was yours and a purpose to keep moving forward in this godforsaken journey called life.
Life seemed a little brighter with her here now. And that only hope you held, was the reason you stood before Toranaga today, without having to fall to your knees and wallow in self pity and embarrassment.
Toranaga nods toward Lady Mariko and she bows, taking her leave. Your heart sinks as you watched the departure of your interpreter but you do your best not to show it. Now, all you had was your broken Japanese to communicate with him.
There was silence, only the winds whispered, filling the space between them. As if they too were anticipating who would break the silence of suffocation.
"That day .. no goodbye." You tried piecing together the words you could only describe were like million puzzle pieces to create one image, while the clock ticked in your eardrums.
The clock being the unflinching gaze of Toranaga.
Toranaga replies, "I'd assumed you were angry with me."
"I still am." You confirmed, catching onto the last three words he said. The lessons you spent with Mariko giving you hope that even though broken, you could still communicate and reach and understanding.
Your gaze fell on a lamp, finding it interesting all of a sudden. You harboured enough strengths and courage to do a great many things but looking into his eyes was not one of them. He was the most frustrating yet undaunted man you had ever met in your life and you didn't know whether to see that as a blessing of a curse.
"Can .. can I trust you?" Your voice came out in a whisper.
"Trust is a powerful word."
Of course he would say that. I mean, what were you hoping? He was a Lord, for crying out loud. And you .. you are just a girl from a small town that courageously paved her way through life and then royally fucked it up after you trusted someone you claimed to love.
Still not meeting his eyes, yours closed as you let out a shaky breath. You just needed the clarity. "Then, can I lean on you? Until the storm is over?"
He knew exactly what you meant. This war. You wanted clarity on whether he would protect you should anything happen ..
Toranaga nods. "I will you give you a shelter untill this storm is over." His lips upturned and your eyes finally found his, your heart fluttering as the burning on your cheeks stung.
"And perhaps," he continues, "we can start over. From the beginning."
"I'd like that," for the first time, you beamed a smile that reached to your eyes. "I'd like that very much."

Mylog: Kebejatan Struktural
Anjing pertama untuk ke-ga-jelas-an pemberian honor. Beres kerjaan tgl 20, ampe uda ganti bulan berikutnya honor belum cair tapi kerjaan terus di-push supaya tetep lanjut.
Biar enak mungkin surveynya kalo Masi sama orang satu daerah.
Selama briefing dan training, aink ga pernah ketemu tuh sama enumerator yang kerja bareng aink. Awalnya aink kira bakal sama om om paruh baya. Tapi pas liat dokumentasi survey sama foto profil wa mereka yang wibu, eh ternyata aink dapet enumerator pelajar tanggung..
Ga masalah sih aink, cuman agak sedikit repot di teknis input data karena mereka masih newbie dan nampaknya kurang begitu memahami teknis kerjaan ketika training. It's okey, yang penting mau belajar dan komunikasi lancar kalo aink mah. Repot dikit ga ngaruh.
Kemarin, ternyata honor para enumerator cair. Tapi bertahap katanya (eyy). Kalo koordinator belum, nanti dikabari lagi katanya (anjing lah, dipikir aink ga butuh duit buat modal pangsit).
Jadi kalo mereka kuota surveynya full sebulan 100 data, mereka dapetnya 900ribu.
Mungkin karena ga tahu, dan emang butuh mereka pas ditawarin kerjaan sama mawar mau mau aja. Cuman pas kemarin tahu kalo honornya UMR mereka pada nyesek. Yaiyalah dari 2juta sekian disunat jadi 900ribu!
Cuma dijanjiin bakal diajak healing ketika kerjaan beres di bulan ketiga
Otomatis dong aink ngumpat ngumpat dari kemaren! Anjing banget si mawar dan mungkin teman teman oknum lainnya.
Bayangin, perbulan seorang yang harusnya dapet UMR dipotong jadi cuma 900ribu. Dari seorang aja sebulan bisa ngantongin 1.3jutaan. Kali 30 orang Uda 39juta sebulan. Masa kerja 3 bulan, itung tuh akhir periode proyek dapet berapa
Trus diakhir periode cuma mau ngajak jalan jalan aja buat healing si pekerja malang yang 30 orang itu.
Anjing bejat banget.
Tega banget.
Uang honor diganti istilahnya jadi uang komitmen :(
Duh anjing bejatnya Uda ga ketulungan.
Ga heran negara kita dapet pemimpinnya modelan fufufafa. Pemimpin cerminan (mayoritas) yang dipimpinnya.
Aink hidupnya ga kekurangan duit, emang milih buat ga jahat aja :)

As Master Joe Wishes - Track 08
Seasonal Team Event - L4mps
Thank you Aca for handling this chapter!
Location: Manor - Bedroom
Joe: Don’t come any closer!
Anonymous Member A: That said, what should we do?
Anonymous Member B: What’s up with this teddy bear anyways? Seems to be a high-spec robot from what I can see.
Anonymous Member A: There might be some worth to this thing. Let’s take it back with us.
Daniel: Funny you guys think you can leave here in one piece.
Anonymous Member B: Huh…?! When did you appear…!
Joe: D-Daniel…!
Daniel: Thought that if anyone was going to break in, it would be from the 2nd floor’s corridor. Seems like my guess was dead-on. So blocking this path would cause problems for you lot, yeah?
Daniel: So, if you don’t want your heads to get blown off, put your hands up.
Anonymous Member C: Even if you’ve predicted that much, it’s quite rash to come here alone.
Daniel: So you do have back up, huh.
Anonymous Member A: Now, grab that teddy bear and let’s leave!
Anonymous Member B: He’s just an amateur. Try shooting us if you can!
Daniel: Sorry, but I got no hesitation to shoot this gun.
Daniel: (For now, I should aim for the guy who’s holding Joe’s foot. I’ll leave the rest of ‘em to Sammy-san and the others.)
Anonymous Member B: Ugh… Huh? I didn’t get hit…
Daniel: Wha…
Daniel: Why does this gun shoot out tulips and cherry blossom petals?!
Anonymous Member C: Let’s leave, go go!
Netaro: I found you, Daa! So you see~ That little gun was made for parties! Did it surprise you?
Daniel: Y-Y-You Idiot!
Daniel: Ugh, my back…! Even though I started feeling better…
??: Gah!
Netaro: Mhmmm, I hear the shriek of men from downstairs! How exciting!
Location: Manor - Large Parlor
Nagi: I’m really sorry for the inconvenience….
Anonymous Member A: Don’t you think it’s a bit rude towards the manufacturer to drop an iron on our heads?!
Anonymous Member B: Making the door knob scalding hot is a cruel and unusual punishment! I almost burned my palms! You’d better pay for my hospital bills!
Anonymous Member C: If something like this ever happened to me, I’d become traumatized enough to quit my job!!
Nagi: I never thought that the trap combo from that movie would work so beautifully here… that said, this probably would cause trouble for the movie’s production company. This was all my fault. Good kids shouldn’t try this at home.
Daniel: Why the hell is Nagi apologizing to the hand-cuffed thieves over here?
Hiramei: Well, the booby traps he set up worked, and we successfully captured the Anonymous members that tried to get away.
Hiramei: If they had taken Joe away, this probably would have become an international issue. That Hachinoya-san is truly a life-saver for the JPN police as well as my career.
Joe: You don’t have to apologize to these felons, Nagi!
Nagi: No, I say this is already a fine form of unjustified self-defense. Samejima-san, please apprehend me. I’ll be turning myself in.
Samejima: Eh~?
Yodaka: However, with this, the other Anonymous members will know that the “prized treasure” would equal to a teddy bear.
Samejima: That’s true. Hiramei~ Don’t neglect your duties to survey the surroundings~
Samejima: We got 3 hours left, there might be a chance that back up may come to get their revenge.
Samejima: They don’t seem to be the kind to negotiate.
Samejima: Besides, there is no mistaking that these mobs are just underlings used to cause trouble. Their tricks are quite daft.
Hiramei: Yes, sir! I’ll also report it to the units outside!
Location: Manor - Bedroom
Ryui: …..
Toi: …..
Netaro: …..
Toi: I’m glad that Master didn’t get abducted…
Ryui: Yeah, all thanks to Hachinoya this time.
Toi: … Ani-sama, why did you leave Master behind?
Ryui: Well, I worry about you more than anyone else in the world.
Toi: Then does that mean…
Toi: You’d prioritize me above anything else?
Ryui: Yeah. Obviously.
Toi: Then, would you listen to me if I asked you to not protect Joe-sama?
Ryui: … Yeah.
Ryui: (That’s obvious… This has always been the case.)
Toi: I see…
Toi: I’ll get something to drink.
Ryui: Hah…
Netaro: Oh~
Ryui: What do you want?
Netaro: I had a thought if I were to cook up a replica AI of you, that thought process of yours would be horribly simple and easy ♪
Ryui: The hell you mean by that?
Netaro: I just have to set it up so it’ll do anything that Toi says. It’s pretty easy-peasy and lacking in excitement.
Ryui: You tryin’ to call me stupid… Asshole.
Ryui: (Ah… Can’t help but hate myself for leaving Joe behind. I’m sure I made the right decision when the lights went out and those bastards showed up, but still–)
Netaro: Is Toi your owner, Ryui?
Ryui: …..
Joe: No one owns each other. The same goes for me, as well as Ryui.
Ryui: ! You…
Samejima: Hey there~, sorry for interrupting.
Netaro: Joe and Sammy, what’s wrong?
Samejima: Actually, thanks to a request from the higher-ups, I’ll have to head to the airport now. I can escort Joe by myself for the rest of the evening.
Netaro: Hmmm… Wasn’t it a problem that you would look suspicious carrying a cute teddy bear around?
Samejima: Hm? It’s all right, an old man can even carry a teddy bear around.
Netaro: Hmm?

Hiramei: *sigh* I’ll have to send those 3 in custody to the station, and then that’s it…
Hiramei: Huh…? Where did those 3 and the guards go?
Location: Manor - Large Parlor
Nagi: The party just a while ago seems like a lie now that it’s gotten all quiet.
Toi: Yeah. It became a bit lonely here, somehow.
Yodaka: Let’s go meet them once things have calmed down.
Netaro: *snoring*
Daniel: I think I’ll go back and rest up, too~
Ryui: …..
Ryui: (If I were able to meet her again…)
Ryui: (Fuck, if I’m gonna be this agitated, I should have apologized even if I had to force it out of myself…What the hell I should do.)
Ryui: (Hm? There’s a sound coming from the wardrobe.)
Ryui: Who–?! The fuck?!
Nagi: Eh, there’s someone tied up in there.
Daniel: ! Wait, is that?
Ryui: Samejima?!
Yodaka: Let me take this gag off for you.
Samejima: Puha! A.. ake!

[A3!] Citron | [SSR] MANKAI Feature | Today's Star: The Wizard of the North
Citron: “Sealed away in the ancient times, the White Dragon of Eternity…”
Sakuya: “What!? Wait, don’t tell me you’re going to call upon such a legendary dragon…!”
Tsuzuru: Ah, Director. You’re h… wait, what exactly is this?
Izumi: Ah, Tsuzuru-kun. Those two are in the middle of an etude right now.
Tsuzuru: No, I got that… It’s just, this really feels like some kinda Itaru-approved chuuni etude or something.
Citron: “You have finally arrived! The writer of grimoires! Prepare yourself! Hyah!!”
Tsuzuru: HEY!?
Citron: Ooh, Tsuzuru. You need to make your character feel much stronger there. How disappointing, you are no good at all~.
Tsuzuru: Grrh… I wasn’t even a part of your etude in the first place!
Sakuya: Ah! Could it be that you wanted to talk about Citron-san’s spin-off?
Citron: If that is the case then you should have just said so in the first place!
Tsuzuru: The hell!? You roped me into your etude against my will!
Izumi: Now, now. Anyway, since you guys are both here, would you like to hear about the spin-off too, Citron-kun and Sakuya-kun?
Sakuya: Yeah!
Citron: Of course! I have been really looking forward to the spin-off project too.
Izumi: Without further ado, the character Citron-kun will be playing for the spin-off story streaming project is…
Izumi: The Wizard of the North from the fourth performance, “The Wonderful Charlatan of Oz”!
Izumi: All of your roles were pretty popular, but the Wizard of the North was the one that got the most votes in the fan survey.
Citron: I am glad~, it is a role that I love too.
Tsuzuru: So, today all I want from you is a super basic premise for the script.
Tsuzuru: I could write whatever I want, but I wanted to include any wishes you might have, Citron-san. Are there any that you can think of?
Citron: Yes… Because everyone has chosen this role for me, I want to put on a story that everyone wants to hear.
Tsuzuru: Hmm, I see…
Izumi: What kind of role do you think of when you think of the Wizard of the North, Tsuzuru-kun?
Tsuzuru: The Wizard of the North is the gentlest and kindest of the four wizards.
Tsuzuru: I wrote the role with the idea of a wizard who cares the most about his people and hates conflict in mind.
Sakuya: That sounds exactly like Citron-san…!
Tsuzuru: Well, if we’re talking about a kind wizard, then it makes sense that the other wizards like West and East are the complete opposites, right?
Citron: I want to play any role in any story that is written by you, Tsuzuru. I will leave it to you!
Tsuzuru: Is that you saying you have faith in me?
Tsuzuru: But thanks. I guess I’ll try my best to write something with that vibe in mind.
Tsuzuru: If you think of anything else, just let me know.
Citron: Understood. We will work on role studying while we wait very eggcitedly for you to finish. Sakuya, I would like you to help me with my role study right away!
Sakuya: You’ve got it!
Citron: “What…? I can hear someone’s voice in my head…”
Sakuya: “A voice?”
Citron: “Hah… Ah, you are the Keeper of the Sacred Forest… the Lord of the Great Horn of the Rainbow…!”
Sakuya: “Lord of the Great Horn of the Rainbow-sama…!? Could it be that something happened in the forest….!?”
Tsuzuru: I thought you said you were going to role study. This feels like something entirely different…
Izumi: C’mon, just let them have their fun.
Tsuzuru: Sometimes I wonder how the hell I manage to put up with you all…
· ❀ —– ٠ ❀ ٠ —– ❀ ·
*Page turns*
Citron: This script that I received from Tsuzuru… It is very interesting!
Citron: (There are the Wizards of the East and West, who are evil wizards, and the Wizards of the North and South, who are good wizards.)
Citron: (It is a story about the wizard healing the trees, flowers, and people who were affected by the war between the evil wizards while waiting for Dorothy to one day visit…)
Sakuya: So it’s a story about the Wizard of the North trying to protect people without harming them with his magic. I also think it’s really…
Citron: …
Sakuya: Citron-san…?
Citron: …The Wizard of the North is just like me.
Sakuya: Huh?
Citron: He cares the most for his people and hates conflict. He tries to lead his people with strength and kindness.
Citron: But… powerful forces and ties cannot help but make him feel helpless…
Citron: The Wizard of the North is just like me when I was the crown prince.
Sakuya: …
Sakuya: Um…
Citron: What is it, Sakuya?
Sakuya: I thought this story was really interesting to read, plus it aligns with the plot of the original Wizard of Oz…
Sakuya: So I’m sure that people who liked the original and people who like “The Wonderful Charlatan of Oz” will find it interesting too.
Sakuya: But on the other hand, I also think that since it’s such a gentle story, there’s no one better than you to perform it, Citron-san.
Citron: Ohh? I suppose this is a gentle enough story. It is a story about him protecting his people without harming them until their savior comes.
Sakuya: That’s not it. Because the Wizard of the North is still hurting.
Sakuya: Your kindness isn’t out of helplessness, Citron-san. I’m certain that so many people have been saved by your kindness you can’t even count just how many there are.
Sakuya: I know because I’m one of them.
Citron: Sakuya…
Sakuya: Um, these are…
Citron: Ohh? Are those the fan responses from the survey for my spin-off project?
Sakuya: They are. Sorry that I looked at them without asking you first.
Sakuya: The fans wrote about what they thought of the plays and stuff on them, so I asked the Director if she could show me a little bit from everyone else’s too.
Sakuya: Please look at how everyone who left responses feels.
Citron: …
Sakuya: Just like it says in all of these, everyone loves the Wizard of the North’s kindness.
Survey A: “I love the Wizard of the North because he’s just as kind as Citron-kun is.”
Survey B: “Gentle magic might not be powerful, but it’s definitely the strongest force that gives people hope for life.”
Citron: --.
Sakuya: So even though he’s gentle, the Wizard of the North can save lots of people using his kindness, the strongest magic of all.
Sakuya: At least… That’s what I think…
Citron: Thank you, Sakuya.
Sakuya: No, no. I’m sorry… I was just kinda rambling there.
Citron: It is okay. I meant what I said. I would like to make this a story that everyone would like to hear.
Citron: If that is what the people want, we have to give it to them.
Sakuya: Citron-san…!
Sakuya: Then you should go tell Tsuzuru-kun.
Citron: Yes! Sakuya, you will come too!
Sakuya: Okay!
· ❀ —– ٠ ❀ ٠ —– ❀ ·
Sakuya: Hehe…
Citron: Ohh, you seem to be in a good mood, Sakuya.
Sakuya: I am! I’m really happy to be able to play Rick again…!
Citron: I am happy too.
Sakuya: …You’re in a good mood too, Citron-san?
Citron: Yes. It is just as you said, Sakuya. This is very much a gentle story.
Citron: I would like to cast a spell that will warm the hearts of those who see it, even if it is only for a little bit.
Sakuya: …Yeah.
Izumi: Are you two ready? It’s about time to start filming.
Citron: It is time! Let us go, Sakuya!
Sakuya: Awawah, wait!

Brothers: “Wizard of the North-sama, please help us.”
Izumi: (The Wizard of the North casts a spell of blessing on the brothers, who lost all their possessions while fleeing from a neighboring nation where strife has continued.)
Wizard of the North: “I give my blessings to the both of you. May the thing most precious to you never be lost.”
Wizard of the North: “I wish you safety and happiness as your journey continues.”
Brothers: “Thank you very much, Wizard of the North-sama…!”
Izumi: (The brothers depart thanks to the Wizard of the North.)
Izumi: (As he watches the two leave, a butterfly comes to him and lands on his staff.)
Butterfly: “Your Northness, a town, and a flower field disappeared this morning…”
Wizard of the North: “Haah… Not again…
Wizard of the North: “It must be that the Wizards of the East and West are skirmishing over the land because they were chastised by Oz.”
Wizard of the North: “That whole ordeal has truly had a number of effects on the surrounding lands.”
Wizard of the North: “As a fellow wizard, I’d love to do something about it, however, I don’t have the power to stop them…”
Wizard of the North: “Ahh, I truly am useless. Just what will the future hold for this country?”
Wizard of the North: “If you have come to me once more, that must mean…”
Izumi: (He goes to the flower field where the attack happened at the request of the butterfly.)

Wizard of the North: “This flower field is a mess. What a truly horrible thing to do.”
Wizard of the North: “Hm? Someone’s crouched down over there…! What’s wrong, are you okay!?”
Rick: “...”
Wizard of the North: “You’re Oz’s… No, now you are the great Wizard of Oz.”
Rick: “Wizard of the North-sama…”
Wizard of the North: “You govern the Emerald City quite well on Oz’s behalf. You’re doing a wonderful job, you know.”
Wizard of the North: “...You look down. Is something the matter?”
Rick: “...The recent damage caused by the Wizards of the East and West has spread to the Emerald City.”
Rick: “One of the fountains was partially destroyed today.”
Rick: “I want to do something for the people, but I don’t have Oz-sama’s power or courage.”
Rick: “Day after day I’m busy listening to the counsel of the people who visit the castle the best I can, but…”
Rick: “No matter how hard I try, I’ll never be as good as Oz-sama.”
Wizard of the North: “...”
Rick: “And now… This is what’s happened to the flower field I walked through with Oz-sama…”
Rick: “I’m sure Oz-sama will be disappointed when he returns someday.”
Rick: “If I can’t even protect this flower field, how am I supposed to protect the Emerald City…?”
Wizard of the North: “...Then I shall cast a spell of blessing on you. Keep your chin up and let me see your face.”
Wizard of the North: “Now…”
*Spell is cast and flowers bloom*
Rick: “Huh?”
Rick: “Wow… That’s amazing! It’s a whole field of yellow flowers…!”
Wizard of the North: “May my blessing aid you. While I cannot be with you always, I am a wizard, so I will be watching over you and protecting you as you go.”
Wizard of the North: “However, you can be there for your people and take their feelings into consideration. You can do what you can and do what you must.”
Wizard of the North: “You may be Oz, but that does not mean you are Oz.”
Rick: “...”
Wizard of the North: “This blessed magic responds to one’s heart. So when you need it most, someone will surely be there to help.”
Wizard of the North: “Rest assured, you will do your duty for the Emerald City. And I shall do mine.”
Rick: “Right…! Thank you so much, Wizard of the North-sama.”
Rick: “Um, Wizard of the North-sama, I have a favor to ask of you.”
Wizard of the North: “What is it?”
Rick: “Could you please teach me the magic you just used?”
Rick: “It doesn’t have to be some grand blessing. I just want to be able to make these yellow flowers bloom.”
Rick: “That way everyone can have a smile on their face.”
Wizard of the North: “Hehe… A great wizard becoming my apprentice…”
Wizard of the North: “Very well.”
Rick: “Thank you so much!”
· • —– ٠ ✤ ٠ —– • ·
Izumi: (Then one day, many years later… the butterfly comes to the Wizard of the North once again.)
Butterfly: “Your Northness, a tornado appeared suddenly, and out of that tornado came a house.”
Butterfly: “Said house seems to have struck the Wizard of the East’s castle.”
Wizard of the North: “How…”
Wizard of the North: “What in the world… No, could it be…”
Wizard of the North: “Ah, Rick… the blessed magic is upon us--.”
· • —– ٠ ✤ ٠ —– • ·
Izumi: …This really is a gentle story.
Tsuzuru: It really is. But that’s not just because of Citron-san, it’s because of Sakuya too.

Chapter (Japanese)
(Please hit the green thumbs up at the end of the chapter to show support)
Rough translation by me
P1
(sfx: wakes up)
Yoshiki: Uwahh!
Yoshiki's mom: Dear...! Are you alright!? Why did you go to Takeda-san's place..!?
Yoshiki: Mom...
Mom: Is it true!? That old Takeda geezer went into a rage and knocked the two of you out?
Mom: The researcher? staying there managed to stop him, but...
P2
Yoshiki: Wait...slow down...you didn't call the police or anything...
Mom: A small quarrel within the village that isn't worth getting the police involved over...that's what it will be settled as, it seems. I seem like a fool. Even if I filed a complaint...
Yoshiki: Enough of that, what about 'Hikaru'...?
Mom: He's sleeping on the next bed...
(sfx: curtain swish)
Mom: But he hasn't woken up yet...
P3
(sfx: thump)
Tanaka: (This katana...)
Tanaka: (I snuck it into Takeda's house for an emergency, but it came in handy. It was able to cut "that" better than I thought)
Tanaka: (This confirms it. It took a long time to get to this point. I'm...really lucky... To think that it's manifesting in this era)
P4
Tanaka: (On top of that, how funny! Not only does it have an ego but it made itself weaker!)
Tanaka: (So things are already progressing towards my goal?)
Tanaka: (But....if that's now the case...)
Takeda: Tanaka!!!
Takeda: My father...they said he probably can't be saved. That it was a heart attack.
Takeda: What the hell happened...!?
P5
Tanaka: ...my apologies. I rushed there but didn't make it in time.
Tanaka: I noticed too late. ...It's my fault.
Takeda: ...
Takeda: My father...had said "I'm next"
Takeda: Was that was true then?
Tanaka: ...seeing the beings on the other side means the other side can find you more easily too
Tanaka: If you find them, the more you fear them, the easier of a target you make
Tanaka: That's all that happened to Matsuura-san and your father.
P6
Takeda: I see...no, to be honest
Takeda: My wife and I were relieved...though that isn't proper to say
Tanaka: ...
Tanaka: ...by the way, my sunglasses
Tanaka: have you seen them?
Takeda: They're right in front of you, aren't they...?
Tanaka: ...
(sfx: splash)
Takeda: You...
P7
Takeda: Is it possible that you're blind?
Tanaka: Yeah....
Tanaka: That's right.
Tanaka: But this is a kind of spiritual impairment. Even with a medical examination, there's nothing wrong
Tanaka: Besides, with these sunglasses I can more or less see
Tanaka: Though its annoying that they're company provisions
Takeda: How long ago?
Tanaka: ...since a very long time ago. Are you finished?
P8
Takeda: Wait
Takeda: What the hell is your goal here?
Tanaka: It's my job
Tanaka: My "company" is looking for a particular thing that originates from the other side
Tanaka: They've searched for several hundred years... It's worth that much effort
Tanaka: And that's why they send people like me out to survey any place that it has even the slightest chance of being in
P9
Takeda: No, I'm talking about your personal motive
Takeda: I don't know anything about that company or whatever
Takeda: But for you to do so much, you must have a reason
Tanaka: Haha, you're suprisingly sharp
Tanaka: Regarding "Nounuki-sama"...it's not wrong to say I plan on doing something about it
Tanaka: At the very least... I'm on the side of humanity
Tanaka: ...but I've just gotten a few more things to do now.
P9
Tanaka: I'll be gone from this village for a moment, so you're responsible for now
Takeda: !? Hey!
Takeda: What about dealing with Nounuki-sama!! If someone gets attacked by impurities...
Tanaka: Please fight them with that katana! Takeda-san, you're 6th dan in Kendo, aren't you?
Takeda: Is that possible!?

sotf surveys - Naruto: Ninja Clash in the Land of Snow
Yo, welcome to a series about my reactions to the Naruto movies and OVAs. Today we will be reviewing Naruto: Ninja Clash in the Land of Snow (legit thought about doing this right after I finished the movie while having dinner lol)
I had previously watched Naruto Movie 1 when I was younger so this was more of a refresher to me. I remember a few major details but the rest were cloudy so I had a few surprises which was exciting, this is the benefit of rewatching something you've seen ages ago and become encapsulated with it all over again. Let's get into it:
OH MAN, you can definitely tell this was movie quality animation. I did not notice how well it was animated when I was younger, they really used up the budget well. Animated shows like to cut corners when it comes to animating to save both time and money which can make the animation feel stale. BUT THIS OUGH, you can see the overshoots and the anticipation in the characters' movements which adds more to their personality, specifically Naruto and Sakura who are outwardly expressive.
SPEAKING OF EXPRESSIONS
FINALLY I KNOW THE CONTEXT OF THIS IMAGE, I've seen it around before but wasn't sure where it was from.
An example of animation that display's Sakura's personality is in a scene 11 minutes into the movie where Team 7 (minus Naruto) gets a debrief on their mission with the film team.
Just for those 7 seconds we see how interested and excited Sakura is being in a movie studio. If it were set on the show I feel like she would only look over her shoulder and that would be it. In movie form we get a bit extra, not just looking over her should but she's innocently rocking back and forth. In addition, we have some background characters moving around which makes the space feel alive.
Another thing to note is the fluid motion of a character or scene being carried over from one frame to the next also the physical weight of their actions.
My favorite example of this is Yukie getting drunk in a small bar, you can see in both her and the other patron are clearly drunk and it's not because of the sake present. Yukie would slosh around, jerk forward suddenly, and have a heavy hand. When Sandayuu and Sakura burst in you can see the weight of their movements as well.
I'm also a sucker for sound quality and the use of foley sounds in movies ever since I learned about it in school. The sounds in Naruto Movie 1 are DELICIOUS. I'm fortunate to have access to a surround sound software also the website I'm using to watch the movie still contains the original sound file so, audibly, it feels like I am in a physical movie theater.
Interestingly, noticed a few scenes used dolly zoom. Not much to comment about it, very neutral about it.
Ma ma, enough with the technicalities, let's get into the plot-
"I guess it can't be helped." KAKASHI!?!? STRAIGHT UP WHIPS OUT THE SHARINGAN JUST TO PUT YUKIE UNDER A GENJUTSU. LIKE I GET IT, GOTTA MOVE HER ALONG NO SENSE IN BICKERING, BUT LMAO
Baby Koyuki and her father :(( the whole dream/flashback was adorable, even if it was short-lived.
Time to be a little Kakashi-biased, mainly the voice acting teehee. I'd like to note that I'm watching this in sub so Kazuhiko Inoue I am all ears. This is the scene where the filming gets interrupted by the villains, Kakashi springs into action, with a quick and commanding voice directs Team 7 to protect the now revealed princess, Koyuki.
If only y'all can hear this gif
Not the villains boasting about their literal plot armor to our protagonists.
Good job Sakura on doing what you're suppose to be doing! Protecting Koyuki-sama. Naruto ran straight towards one of the antagonists, though to be fair Sasuke was defending himself against the female antagonist. For theatrics sake makes sense, you gotta have a fight scene yknow.
I need to remember the movies aren't canon- Kakashi copying Ice-Style? Not possible since it's known as a kekki genkai, though for the sake of the plot and theatrics Kakashi's allowed to use Ice-Style lol.
ANBU KAKASHI SPOTTED IN FLASHBACK
"I, Sandayuu, will protect you with my life!" My pattern recognition senses are tingling...
Gonna dip back into some technicals again for a moment:
One of my favorite tropes in shows and movies is the involvement of the behind the scenes team present on stage, regardless if it's the camera crew, the animation crew, the production crew, etc. It's a funny gag, letting the audience know how hard these people work to produce their shows and movies. In Naruto: Ninja Clash in the Land of Snow is no different where they show the type of work they put in setting up the scene with backdrops and props, ensuring the actors are in costume and make-up, and the final touch is the lights, mic, and camera are a go before calling action. The movie takes it a step further and shows us how far the director is willing to go to produce the final chapter of their movie series, it's also a chance of a lifetime.
I WAS RIGHT- BUT HOLY FUCK WAS THAT OVERKILL. RIP Sandayuu
I love the initial exchange in dialogue between Koyuki and Naruto during the prison scene,
"Well deserved." "You too."
MORE BABY KOYUKI AND HER DAD FLASHBACK
"Everyone seems to forget, I'm an actress." Ngl, thought Koyuki was under a genjutsu at first, then she double played me by stabbing Dotou. She really is an actress, go off girl
Sakura and Sasuke showing off their clever battle tactics??? A really impressive scene with their skills as shinobi; using their environment to their advantage, great use of ninja tools, great use of taijutsu too, and lastly they figured out how to destroy the chakra armor.
"Even if ninjutsu and genjutsu don't work on you, a shinobi still has taijutsu." The essential Shinobi Battle Skills!!!
A common trend with the first movie and the following Naruto movies, the main villain is always defeated with a rasengan variant, with Naruto: Ninja Clash in the Land of Snow it's a 7 color chakra rasengan, or "rainbow rasengan". I find the variants really cool, though the trend to be silly /pos
baby Koyuki and her father memory? NO, baby Koyuki and her father projection!!! Legit thought she was having another flashback.
MY MAN KAKASHI JUST FOUND OUT ICHA ICHA PARADISE IS GETTING A MOVIE ADAPTION AND KOYUKI IS STARRING IN IT
Like any marvel movie, if you stick around until the very end the animation crew shows their gratitude towards the audience by thanking them which I really like especially since this is the first Naruto movie so they worked really hard on this and I appreciate their efforts.

Just the same, I am the last to know and realized that I have become the dumbest person on the planet.
i mentioned in passing that the family of my boyfriend appears to be critical of me. they are cordial but then there is this nagging feeling inside that they do not like you, in this case his mom. basta you will feel it eh.
so prior to the holy week, I was invited to their home in BF. it was the mother's birthday and surprisingly I was asked to join them for dinner.
so i went and tried my best to be decent. dinner over and people started to bring out the drinks. until I excused myself to use the comfort room.
while i was relieving myself, i overheard the boyfriend and his brother talk. it was a clear conversation I heard since the restroom had a small window opening and adjacent at their backyard where the two brothers are talking.
"kung papatol ka ulet sa bakla siguraduhin mong me pera yan gaya ni Robbie"
"antay ka lang kuya"
"si mama lagi nalang humihingi ng pera sa akin, nagbibigay ka ba?"
"short pa ako eh, hingi ako ke jopet"
"landiin mo ng matindi sa kama ng bigyan ka"
then their conversation came to an abrupt stop. I guess they realized someone was in the restroom.
Context. the boyfriend's family as far as I know lives a comfortable life (I believe) I was told that his mom is in the pre-need insurance business and sidelines selling MLM products. his dad is a retired office executive while his siblings appear to have careers naman. actually, if we compare my family with his, mine would appear poor because for one, we live frugally and our needs are simple. on the other hand, his family is different. kasi they put on branded clothes, their kids are sent to exclusive schools and if you check their social media pages, they do travel and party a lot. plus, the dad plays golf at the country club. me pagka high maintenance sila.
not their fault. that is their lifestyle.
but then appearances can be deceitful and I will leave it at that.
bothered at what i just heard, i went to see my friend and naglabas ako ng sama ng loob.
"hindi ba tropa ng exboyfriend mo yung boyfriend mo ngayon?"
"so? what's wrong?"
"hindi ba I warned you before about these type of guys?"
"What do you mean?"
"jopet, minsan naniniwala na ako na boba ka talaga. Hind mo ba alam times have changed? more and more straight guys would befriend unsuspecting gay men and make them fall in love only to get money?"
and then i realized na oo nga pala no, yung buong tropa ng ex ko, almost everyone me kabit na bakla kahit me asawa na? akala ko naman na parang the mindset has changed like a Vice Ganda - Ion Perez levels? Pero hindi lahat.
Nakakahiya man to admit pero oo nga ano, i was the one financing everything with my ex and now, I am feeling the same is about to happen with the present.
and i surveyed my gay friends...
Jay keeps a boytoy, a collegiate basketball player...
Dong, is in a relationship with another guy from the same circle of my ex.

Hakuoki x Sengoku Night Blood Crossover - A Fleeting Vision A Fortuitous Meeting with a Samurai Episode 5
Here's the last part of the Hakuoki and Sengoku Night Blood crossover! And I've added links at the end of all the previous episodes so that they're easier to access and read.
Also, as noted before, this will be the last Hakuoki translation I do for a while... and I'm thinking that after I finish with my first playthrough of Veilguard, I'll get to working on the Hakumyu Hijikata-hen extras. It's been quite a while since I've worked on them since life got in the way, and I'd really like to have those done with before the end of the year.
Anyway, enjoy this last chapter, and I wish you all an early happy thanksgiving... going to put that out now since I have no idea if I'll be looking at tumblr then~!
Hakuoki x Sengoku Night Blood Crossover - A Fleeting Vision A Fortuitous Meeting with a Samurai Episode 5: For this time only/Once in a lifetime ("one time, one meeting")
Translation by KumoriYami
——The next morning.
We were following where Himemiko-sama had gone.
While I thought of the tnese atmosphere inside this forest the other day, I felt that the current situation was truly unimaginable.
We had made an agreement that we wouldn't go hurting each other while in Shinga, and now it felt like they were our new comrades. While I prayed for our smooth return to Kyoto, I realized that the time we returned would be when we parted from them.
Hijikata: Hey, What's wrong, Chizuru? For you to be tired right now, isn't that a bit too soon?
Yukimura: No, I'm not tired, it's just...
Because I couldn't feelings directly, I surveyed the fields I could see in front of me with careless eyes. Then I realized that this is place where I had ended up upon arriving to Shinga.
Yukimura: I think it should be around here. There is where I woke up after crossing over from Kyoto...
Hijikata: Speaking of which, I didn't ask you about that yet.
Yukimura: Hijikata-san apparently woke up in the forest, but why were our positions scattered?
Kazama: Perhaps that corresponds to the locations we were in when we crossed paths in Kyoto.
Yukimura: Kazama-san! Where did you go earlier...
Kazama-san had been completely absent from the banquet and no one knew where he was since he gone off by himself.
Kazama: The world known as Shinga is quite interesting, so I wandered around for a while.
HIjikata: Then isn't fine for you to stay here forever?
Kazama: Hmph, It would be good if you left this girl here and went back by yourself…. However, there is still no better place than the homeland that I am accustomed to.
Although it would be an exaggeration to classify that as sorrowful, Kazama-san's words however carried a sense of homesickness to our original world, which surprised me.
Yukimura:……
Kazama: Don't look so foolish. As soon as we return to our original world, my relationship with the Shinsengumi will be the same as before.
Yukimura:......I know.
Hijikata: Hah, this is seriously hard to get used to, we need to get back to our original world.
I think they meant that they wouldn't be fighting for the time being while we had the shared goal of "returning to our original world".
If you stayed here, you might have a different future that you wouldn't have been able to achieve in our original world. But even so, we longed to returned, why was that?
The answer to this single question would be different for everyone, wouldn't have been able to answered with simple words… and as I thought about what I still had to do in our original world, I increasingly felt that I needed to return.
Yukimura:……!?
Heroine: Yukimura-san, you're kodachi...!
Hearing Yuzuki-san's confused voice, I looked at my kodachi, which I wore on my waist.
Yukimura: Eh.... W-What...!?
Hijikata:This flash… It's the same as the one back then. What exactly did you do?
Yukimura: I, I didn't do anything... it just started shining... why....!?
Before I realized it, everyone had already gathered around me, with the source of light at the centre. The increasingly strong light gave us all some kind of premonition.
But... if that was the case, what about her?
I removed my kodachi from my waist and held it in my arms, I then looked at her—— [I think this is more in the sense of drawing the blade]
---------------
At first, I thought it was because of the sun's reflection on the kodachi that made it appear to glow. But the light gradually became more intense, and expanded to the point where it enveloped their bodies.
Imari: This dazzling light is...
Heroine: Imari-kun?
Imari: An intense light that can illuminate Shinga… Are you really connected to Himemiko-sama somehow!?
Heroine:……!
Upon hearing Imari-kun's questions, we all waited in anticipation for Yukimura-san's answer.
Heroine: (I met them while I was swearing for Himemiko-sama, was it because of that…?)
But not only did we not hear an answer, but even Yukimura-san figure had been hidden by the light and could not be clearly seen. Instead, the man with the lustrous hair and gently swaying black hair turned around and leisurely spoke.
Hijikata: Chizuru? She's not some big shot. This guy… is our comrade in the Shinsengumi.
Hijikata-san figure had also been enveloped in the light, and the light was so strong that we couldn't open our eyes.
Yukimura:……Yuzuki-san! Um... thank you!!
At that moment, her voice reached my ears.
Heroine: (Me too...) I'm so happy that I was able to talk to you/It was so much fun to talk to you...!...Goodbye!!
I said that while I suppressed my desire to keep her.
When the light faded, the people who had been in front of us had disappeared. The wind caressed my cheeks, and lifted up my long hair, which I then pressed down.
Heroine: (...It's so warm. I'm still in Shinga... Yukimura-san and others must have returned. That's great...)
If what Hijikata-san is true, then she she must have had nothing to do with Himemiko-sama. If she had something to do with her, she wouldn't have been able to return to her original world, so I think that those words were true.
Kakizaki Kageie: H-Hey.... um... are you okay? Are you not feeling upset?
Heroine:……Eh?
Turning back, I saw everyone's worried expressions.
Amakasu Kagemochi: If you feel sad, do you want to lean on me so I can comfort you in my arms?
Naoe Kanetsugu: Even if you want to enduring everything by yourself, nothing good will happen.
Uesugi Kagekatsu: I'm hear… I'll always be here to hold your hand like this if you want to cry.
As if to comfort me, everyone patted my head, and held my empty hand... it was so funny that I couldn't help but laugh.
Heroine: Hehe... everyone, I'm alright though?
Uesugi Kagekatsu: Can I be frank... and be happy that you're still here? ?
Heroine: Yes.
Uesugi Kenshin: But... why can you still laugh?
Heroine:……If I were alone right now, I would be crying. But, I can laugh because I'm not alone.
If I were to say that I didn't care at all, I'd be lying. But, that was just a small concern.
But it’s just a little concern. Right now, I’m more happy that they returned safely and hopeful that there is a way back. I was more happy that they had been able to return safely now, and I was hopeful that there would be a way to go back.
Heroine: Alright, let's go find Himemiko-sama!
The day I can return will definitely come. Although I don’t know when that will be—

Pendidikan (calon) anak
Aku ingin anakku homeschooling aja
Aku paham betul setiap pilihan pasti punya risikonya masing-masing.
Setiap zaman punya tantangannya masing-masing.

Well....
