my issue is that just rewatching Supernatural isn’t enough. It takes too long. I want it all at once. I need a room covered in 327 monitors that feed me every single episode at the same time. I need the DVDs melted down and put into an IV drip. I want every single minute of the show tattooed on the inside of my eyelids. I need to live inside its flesh.

So I just watched "Sex and Violence" (Supernatural) and, man, I'm never questioning Wincest again.

Like, the siren was supposed to become whatever Dean wanted most and the guy literally turned into a "better" version of Sam/a little brother.

The way Sam looked at Dean when he was about to kill him and the way Dean always had a second/little moment of hesitation whenever he was about to hurt Sam and the siren had to convince/talk him into/actually tell him to do it (unlike the others who pretty much did everything on their own after the siren gave them the offer).

Like, damn, I don't care what you say these are not normal siblings. Normal siblings wouldn't think of the other as their greatest desire/the thing they want most, they just won't. Normal siblings (speaking from experience) would look at the other and, at most, will either wish to get along with them or for them to stop stealing their food, no in between. No, they're not normal siblings, hell they're barely even normal-weird/just weird siblings at this point, they're straight up obsessed with each other.

so about 14x13 (lebanon) when sam and dean are saying goodbye to their father, john does say i love you to both of them. and there’s a moment where we’re not really sure if either of them are going to say it back. but that look on dean’s face, man….

in that moment i know he was thinking that if sam didn’t say it back, he would. he waited. and sam didn’t say it. so dean had to. because as much as john put him through—as much as he put both of them through—he was not going to let his dad leave without hearing that his children love him back, even if he didn’t necessarily want to be the one to say it. if sam said it, i really think dean wouldn’t have. but the way sam feels about john is complicated in a different way, so of course it was going to be dean. and that’s so eldest child trauma of him.

Dean being the one to point the gun at Jack. Being the Abraham father figure???? Insane. Cas loved him no matter what. Sam always saw him as useful. But Dean saw himself being in the position John was in when he told Dean to kill Sam if he turned evil. Genuinely thinking that your son, whom you love so much, has truly turned dark side. Killed your mother in seeming cold blood. And then to stand there, have him look you in the face and submit as you point a gun at his head, knowing it will physically kill you too. God it’s so fucked. And if Jack had tried to fight him, he would have killed him too. But he didn’t and Dean couldn’t look Jack in the eyes and see the evil he had conjured up in his mind cause it wasn’t there, it was just the little kid in big kid clothing that he had grown to love. Fucking hell

i will never forgive season 14 for a.) giving so much screen time to nick. i understand the urge to explore the fallout of being a vessel for the devil, sounds neat, but they should have delved into that by season 7 at the latest and b.) not developing what it must be like to have the bunker full of strangers. dean and sam were raised in each other's pockets but ONLY in each other's pockets, they've never had to deal with a bustling living situation like this, unless sam had roommates at stanford. i am so curious-does the bunker have a chore chart? do they go grocery shopping individually or does everyone pitch in? how do meals work, the bathroom? did sam design this imaginary chore chart? i can't imagine mary likes all the hustle and bustle and she doesn't even live there full time! is there a lock to the dean cave? because dean is someone who values privacy and control over his own spaces so much, i can't imagine that he would be happy with any of this. does he stay clear of the dean cave to keep it a secret and he sneaks cas into his room like teenagers so they can watch movies with just the two of them and none of the other hunters knowing? i think cas and jack would hang out on the roof and outside for much of the time dean was possessed by michael. maybe jack likes having friends, he probably feels more normal than he ever has before. what do the other hunters who are themselves refugees from an angel ravaged world think about living with an angel and his son? are there rumors about dean and cas? and most importantly. sam is thrilled because the bunker is finally fulfilling its purpose of being a hunter's central network. and dean is pissed because there are people in his house!

I’m almost done with supernatural (half way through season 14) and when I started sam was my favorite but everyone told me that I was gonna end up changing that or that I would end up hating him that is not true I still love Sam and he is still my favorite with Meg coming in a close second. The point was all the sam hate is strange to me
