I finally did it. All the key TGAMM ghosts and wraiths in human form. This definately took awhile to do.
I didn't want to do all the ghosts. In one case, I stuck with Brighton specfic ghosts that we've seen in human form (though it was not easy getting/picking the right tones for Blair and Sonia.)
Something amusing that I did notice was that the wraith characters have brighter colors compared to the actual ghosts.

You know one of the best parts of having a ghost f/o?
You can recreate the dance scene from the Casper movie, if you want! 😊

sorry for the reupload, wanted to fix a few things, (mainly a typo and the fact I forget to give sally eyelashes, so she looked off and it was bothering me)

Made a couple more TGAMM OCs who will be appearing in my fic series!
Meet twins River and Rowan “Rocky” Tugbottom-Hughes.
And yes, their last name should sound familiar. 😉 They’re the maternal great-great-great grandchildren of one Sally Tugbottom.
Tumblr media
River takes a lot after her "Grandma Sally"; she’s adventurous, brave, and very in tune with nature. Her brother Rocky is no slouch, either. While he’s not as much of an outdoorsman as his sister (his asthma’s a real pain in the neck), he’s isn’t afraid to get his hands dirty when absolutely necessary.

Tgamm S1 EP 8-A "Monumental Disaster" Episode Analysis
Tumblr media
Molly meets her Brighton hero, Ezekiel Tugbottom, in his ghost form. Molly is thrilled but Scratch doesn't look so excited by this individual...
"Monumental Disaster" is one of those times the show goes a bit more serious that the usual and tackles a complex lesson. For this, it exploits the concept of ghosts to explore historical figures and their legacy.
The episode starts Molly watching the presentation of an statue dedicated to Ezekiel Tugbottom, also known as "Hero of Brighton". There is a small song that plays showing a bit of the history of this figure and why he is so important for the city. It’s a nice catchy tune that does decent job in telling the story of this character. There are these visuals with book history style that fit well with the atmosphere.
A few moments later, Molly finds a green ghost looking at the statue and quickly notices that he is Ezekiel. While Molly is excited to meet her hero, Scratch warns to her that this ghost is a "blowhard" in the Ghost Word and he isn't who he claims to be.
Ezekiel himself is a very egocentric person who dismisses other people and wants everything to be about himself. At first Molly ignores this until she starts to see this for herself after spending some time with him. Ezekiel suggest tons of times to change the name of places from Brighton for his name instead. When there is a woman trying to escape from a building that is on fire, he saves a painting of himself instead of the person who needed help. This makes Molly realize that there is something going on and decides to investigate in the library.
Inside the library Molly and Scratch find Libby diguised as ¨The Bloodhound of Truth¨ who shows them the true history of the Hero of Brighton. I have to say that i like they gave this aspect to Libby’s character since it is a different side of her. She is passionate about supernatural and mysteries, which later ties in the episode ¨Scratch the Surface¨. It’s also a bit funny because she tries to pretend to be this serious detective persona.
Libby shows the protagonists that Ezekiel Tugbottom’s history was fabricated by Ezekiel’s press and that in reality it was his sister, Sally Tugbottom, who helped Brighton to grow. This is very interesting because it touches the theme of history revisionism and how sometimes it is found that important historical figures weren’t so good as they were make out to be. In addition to this, there is a bit of subtext of Sally’s actions being overlooked and credited to Ezekiel because Sally was a woman. It’s bold for the show to do something like this and it’s great they took advantage of ghosts existing in-universe to make it easier to understand for a younger audience.
After this revelation, Molly and Scratch go back to the park and try showing people that the history of Ezekiel is fake. Suddenly Ezekiel appears and turns into this giant tornado that chases Molly all over the park. It’s a quite intense scene because it is the first time a ghost antagonist looks this threatening aside from the Ghost Council and Harriet.
Luckily Sally appears and stops Ezequiel. She scolds her brother for not understanding what being hero is about and fabricating his story. The citiziens of Brighton make a new statue honoring Sally instead. Molly has a small conversation with Sally in which she congratulates Molly for keeping her legacy by making Brighton a happier place. I think it is a nice way of showing how these to character are alike when it comes to helping other people and making the world a better place.
The episode ends with a funny gag of Libby hinting that she has been investigating paranormal activities in Brighton and Molly tells her to save that for later. It’s a clever way of foreshadowing ¨Scratch the Surface¨ while being self aware about it.
In conclusion:  "Monumental Disaster" is a pretty solid episode that introduces two new cool characters to the show and tackles a good mature lesson. It gaves Libby some time to shine as well. I hope we get to see more of Ezekiel and Sally in the future because they could be explored more in other ways.

You think that Mr. X would ask Molly and Scratch/Todd about the Ghost World?
After the ghost attack by Jinx, Mr X is sent to investigate and runs into Molly who’s talking with the Jeff’s and Sally Tugbottom. Mr X does research and finds out he already has an in with her and contacts Anne to help him get Molly to explain what’s going on.

Please be more Tugbottoms we seen it in the Halloween ep already
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I absolutely LOVE the Big Little Brother trope, as in the case of the Tugbottoms! Little brothers taller than their big sisters are especially my favorite!
Ezekiel remains noticeably larger than Sally in the afterlife! 🥰 Headcanon below!!!!
I headcanon that Ezekiel and Sally are all they have left of their family. With them being from the 1800s, it’s possible their parents met an early demise. Sally clearly shows protective tendencies towards Ezekiel, as when she saved him from a tornado.
She had to take up the role of mom at a very young age, having raised Ezekiel since he was a baby. She took responsibility for everything Ezekiel did and punished him accordingly.
And even though he was a lazy bum in life and often threw turnips at her, I bet Ezekiel is just as protective of Sally as she is of him! This probably rings true in afterlife, as well! ☺️
Let me have protective little brother Ezekiel please. 😭🙏🏻

The 'Todd/Scratch as a werewolf' idea was amusing, so I had to draw more of it. (And in case you didn't know why, it was because of the whole 'if they have a unibrow, they must be a werewolf' myth).
-Had this idea that the whole reason why he turned Molly into a werewolf was because she was in the middle of eating something... and of course knowing his food obsession, he somehow bit her on accident.
-I decided to add more so that any character who was a ghost is instead alive and a werewolf. And I decided that Sally of all characters would be the Leader/Alpha of the werewolves because she gives off those vibes.
-.....Yes. I wanted an excuse to draw a shirtless Todd/human Scratch because I could see him losing it somehow. You are welcome. And the lucky onlookers are myself, @artistcaptainbendy and @candyheartedchy

Sally Tubottom really deserves an episode where she gets to be in the spotlight like, she only appeared at the end of "monumental Disaster"(I'm only counting her ghost form) and after that only had a few cameos.

A Bed Made With Apathy Part 1
It all happens too fast for Ollie to process. As he runs all he can see are quick flashes of the night - every single mistake he made in neon colours.
His parents. New weapons. Outside source. Davenport’s warehouse. Geoff and Scratch. His dad. Gun. Geoff. No; Scratch. Nothing. Nothing. Nothing.
He doesn’t think he’ll ever stop seeing it. June’s hand is tight in his and his breath is hot, too hot. His sneakers slap against the sidewalk and he’s scared the sound will wake up the neighbourhood. The world is blurry. His face is wet. His heart hurts. He can’t stop running.
But June digs her heels in by the time they reach the statue of Sally Tugbottom and he falls face-first into the ground. As he brings himself up and wipes his face he hears June saying something in the background. He can’t hear her. He can’t hear anything. All he can hear is the gun going off. All he can hear is Scratch yelling Geoff’s name. All he can hear is Geoff’s scream.
June rests her hand on his shoulder and he flinches. Corn, what is he doing? He’s the older brother, he’s supposed to be here for June now, not the other way around. He’s supposed to be strong. He’s supposed to be able to protect the people he cares about.
But you couldn’t protect him. His mind whispers.
Geoff! Scream. Geoff! Scream. Geoff! Scream. Geoff! Scream. Geoff! Scream. Geoff! Scream.
“Ollie!”
It’s like breaking the surface of the water. He sucks in a deep breath and coughs when a cloud of dirt is also taken in. June kneels beside him, face dry but her eyes are shiny in the lamplight. She waits patiently for him to stop coughing. When he does the night is too quiet.
“I think we lost them.” She says, looking around the park.
He takes a deep breath and looks up. The sky is cloudy. No stars. No light. Nothing.
He sighs and stands up.
“C’mon.” He leads her to the statue of Sally Tugbottom and they sit down on the granite. Better than sitting in the dirt, he guesses.
They sit there like that, his arm around June, her head under his chin, like when they were little after their Dad told a particularly scary ghost story. But not it’s not the ghosts that are scary now. It’s the look in his Dad’s eyes as he pulled the trigger. It’s Scratch’s shout; Geoff’s scream. It’s not ghost; it’s the emptiness he left behind as his ectoplasm burned and disappeared.
It’s not the ghost in the closet or under the bed, that jumps out and scares innocent children. It’s the innocent ghost that jumps in front of his friend. It’s Scratch, putting himself between Geoff and the gun; Geoff and his dad, eyes wide as he disappears. And the worst part?
As Scratch’s eyes met his, there wasn’t any anger or sadness; just fear. Ollie wants to laugh at the irony of it, that he’s the one making the ghost afraid now. But he can’t. Because Scratch is gone.
Meanwhile, in a a bed made with apathy at 41 Oak Street, Todd Mortenson wakes up.
