I realized I posted a teaser and never really followed up on it, so here is some more of that

“Hey, Dami?”

Boy hadn’t looked up from the kittens he was bottle feeding but let out a hum indicating he listened.

“I'm thinking about trying out a more girlish style. Do you think it would suit me?”

Well, Damian had no idea but if Dani wished to give it a chance, then, well, the only proper reaction was to offer his aid.

“Father, I require access to your rouge gallery.”

Bruce almost choked on his breakfast when his youngest made this announcement.

Rouge gallery, as his children playfully called it, was vast collection of lipsticks, which he collected to uphold his Brucie persona. Famous playboy with head constantly in the clouds couldn’t not show up with discreet signs of scandal from time to time. And it couldn’t always be the same shade. Or scent when he choose more subtle approach and used one of his more feminine perfumes.

In all honesty, he enjoyed this.

But that’s not the point, point was that Damian wanted to use it and Bruce needed to know what disaster would fall upon him if he agreed.

“Mind telling me why, chum?”

Dick, who visited Manor for a weekend, barely stifled his laughter while Tim stared at his empty coffee mug like it personally betrayed him. Cass just wore her usual knowing and mischievous smile.

Damian shifted in his chair, hands clenching on butter knife. He was nervous and suddenly Bruce dreaded the answer he was about to hear.

“I don’t see how me sharing this information would change anything. It won’t be used to cause harm to anyone but it’s necessary in the extracurricular project I just started.”

“Dami, what project?” Dick asked, voice oozing with genuine curiosity and excitement. He was almost bouncing.

“I don’t want to disclose it.”

“Is this a hero or civilian type of deal?”

Damian didn’t look any of them in the eyes, both hands clenching on his seat as he kept shifting. Bruce narrowed his eyes. Was his youngest… flustered?

“Civilian”

“Alright, great” Dick swung back with single clap, almost tripping his chair over “I think B won’t have anything against you using his rouge gallery, will he?” Man knew his oldest son well enough to recognize his ‘don’t you dare to disagree’ tone. He was confused but there wasn’t any harm so he nodded with affirmative hum.

“Thank you, Father”

Boy practically inhaled rest of his food and rushed outside. Despite all his training and all his efforts, they clearly saw his excitement. Tim pinched himself and returned to staring at his mug.

“Cass, have you seen what I’ve seen or am I overreacting?” Dick asked, barely restraining his enthusiasm. Girl nodded eagerly, shoving more crumbs into her mouth. Young man cheered, throwing his hands up.

“What have I missed?” Tim mumbled, frowning a little.

“BABY BAT HAS A CRUSH!”

Cass nodded again with wide smile.

Oh.

Oh no.

Who were they? What did he know about them? Was Protocol 3r0s started? Did someone run a background check already? What could they do if they somehow hurt Damian? Was this person a risk to their identities? Oh gods, oh no.

He probably will have to do The Talk™.

He always dreaded having The Talk, with any of his kids. He felt The Talk with Damian would be even worse. Understandably so.

“Also sleep in at least three da-”

“Fuck off, dick.”

“Was this insult or-”

His children remained obvious to how much work it meant, cheering and sassing each other like they often did.

Damian did not know how it was possible but he lowered his guard enough to get caught.

"What are you doing?" Brown choked out after they stared at each other for a long moment.

"It does not concern you–"

"You're rummaging through my wardrobe, not many things concern me more and also, that's frickin creepy don't do it to anyone outside of the family"

She did have a point however he was not convinced it would be the correct approach if he shared his plan. Father's wards (even unofficial like Brown) tended to make assumptions and overreact based on these conjectures. Dani wasn't easy to scare off but he didn't want to check if his family would manage. They often did things thought to be impossible.

He tried to get away but the blonde stood fiercely in a door, leaving the window as the only way out. He wasn't this desperate. Yet.

Girl looked more and more angry at his silence. He had to give her some answers.

Now that he actually considered it, she could be a useful asset. She was far better versed in women's fashion and if he phrased it correctly, he wouldn't even need to bribe her. Question was, how should he phrase it?

"I have an acquaintance- I have a friend," he corrected himself "from the animal shelter I volunteer at. She mentioned wanting to try out more 'girlish style' and asked for my opinion. I wanted to see if you had any clothes that would fit her. She is smaller than me so I thought that whatever I take, it wouldn't be missed." 

Brown grinned with an unsettling gleam in her eyes. He suddenly regretted opening his mouth if not coming to this room in the first place. 

"Say no more, I have a plan Demon Child"

LOTTIE MATTHEWS — Daughter of Phoebe, Titan Goddess of Intellect And Prophecy.

this one is pretty much self-explanatory, my little prophet <3 Phoebe was the Titan who gifted Apollo with the ability to prophesize, giving existence to the Oracle of Delphi. I'm saying that Lottie would be her daughter because she doesn't really give child of Apollo vibes? Like— she's too mystique to be a child of Apollo and the Oracle of Delphi cannot have children so Phoebe it is.

Alternative parents— Hecate (Titan Goddess of Witchcraft), Gaia (The Earth), Janus (God of Choices), Pan (God of the Wild). Also possibly Psyche (Goddess of Compassion and Human Suffering).

SHAUNA SHIPMAN — Daughter of Nemesis, Goddess of Balance and Revenge.

Most people would probably shove Shauna (esp S3 Shauna) into the children of Ares, but I personally don't think Shauna has the natural spite to be a child of Ares— at least not all the time. Most of her actions are things she does in retaliation to what someone else does, often in revenge, so I think she'd be a daughter of Nemesis.

Alternative parents— Ares (God of War), Momus (God of Blame), Eris (Goddess of Strife and Discord).

JACKIE TAYLOR — Daughter of Nike, Goddess of Victory, Charioteer of Zeus.

Again, pretty self explanatory. Jackie's entire life revolved around staying on top— being the golden girl, having a popular boyfriend, being captain of her soccer team, etc. She's very competitive as we saw in season one where they were taking turns trying out the gun and hates giving up control. So I think she'd be a daughter of Nike.

Alternative parents— Tyche (Goddess of Fate and Fortune), Khione (Goddess of Winter), Aphrodite (Goddess of Love and Beauty). Also maybe Hebe (Goddess of Youth) since my girl kinda peaked in high school.

MISTY QUIGLEY — Daughter of Prometheus, Titan God of Forethought, Fire and Knowledge.

Misty is the most pragmatic of the group (which is a low, looooww bar) . She's the one who's the most intellectual among the Yellowjackets and often gives the group the most valuable information and is then ostracised for it (See: Prometheus giving man fire). Prometheus was also known to be mischievous at times, which fits right in with our lil chaos gremlin.

Alternative parents— Dionysus (God of Wine and Chaos), Athena (Goddess of Warfare and Knowledge), Eris (Goddess of Strife and Discord), Apollo (God of Music, the Sun, and Healing).

NATALIE SCATORCCIO — Daughter of Psyche, Goddess of Compassion and Human Suffering.

Again, need I explain more? Nat is arguably one of the ones who took it the hardest when the plane crashed. Her entire life has been one gigantic kick the dog moment, right up to her death. Her dad was abusive and died when she was young, her mom wasn't really involved, she grew up in poverty, she did drugs in high school— she only really felt herself with the Yellowjackets and Travis, and had that taken from her too. Apart from that, she is also one of the most empathetic, right down to her mercy killing of Coach Scott.

Alternative parents— Khione (Goddess of Snow), Thanatos (God of Peaceful Death), Melinoë (Goddess of Ghosts, Madness and Liminal space).

TAISSA TURNER — Daughter of Philotes, Goddess of Affection and Friendship.

Was debating between Anteros and Philotes, but I went with Philotes in the end. Tai (whether intentionally or not) always keeps the group together (we don't count Allie). She was the one most disgusted with what they did to Jackie and also kinda the peacekeeper. The only survivor to have good relationships with all the rest of the survivors.

Alternative parents— Anteros (Erote of Requited Love), Harmonia (Goddess of Harmony), Ananke (Goddess of Inevitability and Fate), Selene (The Moon). Hunter of Artemis, possibly.

VAN PALMER — Daughter of Apollo, God of the Sun, Music and Poetry, blessed by the Nine Muses.

Sooo obvious, I didn't even have to think. Van is good cheer and empathy. She likes storytelling, media, all that sort of thing, which ties up with Apollo's poetry aspect. She's literally the sun to Tai's moon (especially other Tai). I say blessed by the Nine Muses since they all represent different aspects of scholarly nature and story-telling, which is so Van. It's also good to note that Apollo was also tied up with prophecy, and Van was one of the girls most devoted to Lottie and who believed in her the most.

Alternative parents— the Nine Muses, Peitho (Goddess of Persuasion and Trust), Aphrodite Philia (the Platonic Love aspect of Aphrodite), Hebe (Goddess of Youth), Eos (Goddess of Dawn).

TRAVIS MARTINEZ — Son of Styx, The River of Oaths and Resentment, located in the Underworld.

Hear me out on this one— Travis as a son of the river nymph of the Styx. He carries around unspoken grief that he tries to forget but never can. He resents but is fiercely loyal to everyone he loves, trying to get revenge for them even after they've died (Javi). He makes promises he tries to keep but can't, which is ironic since he's the son of a river meant to hold bonds fast.

Alternative parents— the River Lethe (Oblivion and Forgetting), Thanatos (God of Peaceful Death), Ares (God of War), Hephaestus (God of Fire, Forging and Rejection).

AKILAH — Daughter of Demeter, Goddess of Harvests and Seasons.

yep, I’m going back to my old favorite with my current favorite, called me crazy but I actually think it’s a little bit more fun.

With the fact that Danny would in Twisted Wonderland and when it happens is after D-stabilize and before Phantom Planet or after Phantom Planet (I can’t decide which one) so with that in mind I can see when Danny meets Grim, he wouldn’t be fearful to him as that Ghost boy has dealt with worse.

In a way Danny can get away from Grim easily (the poor cat would struggle to find him until he did XD) though Danny would try to reason with Grim but of course he wouldn’t listen and try to attack Danny until Crowley showed up and stopped the devil cat.

Interesting Facts:

• Danny doesn’t fully trust Crowley as the headmaster wouldn’t keep his promise for getting Danny back to his world, in Danny’s case he isn’t really responsible enough. (Oof 😭😅)

whenever he gets annoyed or mad at Grim, Danny usually calls him ‘lil menace’, ‘gremlin’, and ‘Devil cat’ as he refuses to be called Grim’s “minion”

When Danny shows his ghosts powers to Ace and Deuce it was around in the dwarf’s mines when he saved Deuce from the phantom blot (at the time they didn’t know that)

In classes in NRC Danny actually had a good grasp on class lesson to a point where he gets genuine good grades, confused and surprised he goes up to Crewel asking if there is a mistake and when Crewel confirms that all his class work is correct. The poor Halfa was in complete shock that he would say “I- I never had this good grades besides that one test..” he said which would make Crewel genuinely concerned about the Halfa (papa Crewel is best Crewel QwQ)

In each of overblot victims’ memories came when Danny see them he would genuinely feel bad (pacifically Riddle’s, Azul’s, Idia’s, and Malleus’s) he sees those memories seeing them struggling with their trauma similar to his trauma (yes Danny has some trauma but hide it better until he lose his composure.)

The more time Danny constantly facing the phantom blot (since he doesn’t want to hurt the victims) after Grim in the end of book 5 scratches him in his ghost form, his injury would get infected with some of the blot that overtime he would have a high chance to be Overblot himself as well (the rest of the Twst crew would know Danny’s personal struggles and fears mainly of Dan Phantom)

Danny does sense a lot of ghosts in Twisted Wonderland as his own ghost sense would go off so if the Ramshackle ghosts try to scare Danny then he would be aware which actually amuse the Halfa as he is surprised that the ghosts in twisted wonderland is different in his own world and even the ghost zone as well.

When Danny befriended some of the main Twst crew, he is actually close to the first years though when he met Jack Howl it was awkward as his dad’s name is Jack so, to insure of no confusion Danny would call Jack Howl by his last name or ‘Jackie’ which it is understandable to Jack as he does not want Danny to be uncomfortable.

In story Danny would have to use his ghost powers in so many ways as in book 1 when Ace was kicked out and had Riddle’s collar on, out of curiosity and thinking Danny used his intangibility on the collar and taking it off of Ace’s neck which made the Heartslabyul student very happy but Danny told Ace that he had to put it back on his neck so that Riddle wouldn’t know. To the dismay of Ace but begrudgingly he agreed on it as it for safety reasons.

when Danny met Malleus, to the Halfa he thinks that Malleus is really cool and would call Malleus ‘Draco’ because of a constellation and also means Dragon as well, for Malleus was surprised that Danny would nickname him of thing that he was passionate about which made the dragon fae felt happy as they both would talk about their favorite interests (Malleus with gargoyles while Danny is Stars and space)

When any Twst characters asks Danny about his family and friends, he would definitely talk about them mostly he would also talk about his other friends from different dimensions, a boy who is big genius, a buck tooth boy with little creatures could give anything he wants, and finally a friendly sea sponge who is a fry cook. Danny would admit that he haven’t heard anything from them for a while now but understand if they find out that he is in another dimension they would be freaked out. (Aka Danny talking about Jimmy, Timmy, and SpongeBob though tbh I think Timmy would be jealous on Danny to be in a world that magic does exist XD)

The end of Malleus’s OB, Sam and Tucker did find a way to get into Twst with the help from Wulf who used his claws to get into the world and to find Danny, only to find out that he dealing with an overblot and become overblot himself.

in the Masquerade event would be interesting as Danny would have seen the ghost of Rollo’s late little brother Theo Flamme who stayed invisible in front of anyone except Danny could see him due to be a half ghost

Danny would tell about his ghost adventures to the first years group as Deuce would describe that Danny is a superhero which makes Danny happy about it

if Floyd or maybe even Grim would try to call him Dan or Dan-Dan you would bet Danny would get triggered as he would tell them in a coldest voice “Don’t EVER call me Dan again..!” and later he would tell everyone why after seeing his memories after his overblot.

so in short Danny would have to deal a lot issues but also would the moment that he would admit that he also has trauma issues.

alrighty then, here we go

they’re mostly quite strange since idk shit about character design, be warned

i only had time to draw a few of my creatures so many are missing 😔

there are quite a few and a there’s an UNGODLY amount of yapping underneath so uhhh

first up is (unless i can find a better name) ispen, who actually used to be my old sona, hence the name

basically their whole thing is being a ghost companion thing who just wants to help but usually fucks up instead. they’re also very shy and scared of everything and almost always hides behind the mask (as shown in the first pic) as a comfort thing. they only take the mask off when they feel comfortable and like they don’t need it, but usually keeps it on their head just in case.

the current design likely isn’t final as i’m still trying to figure out wtf their face is meant to be and other things but it’s staying for now.

(man i sure do wonder who this is based on)

next up is jackie, my personal favourite in terms of design

she’s literally just a ghost pumpkin who is a bitch to everyone

i love ghost pumpkins (which are literally just white pumpkins) and i also love ghosts, so i thought it’d be fun to make a literal “ghost” pumpkin

she’s remained practically unchanged and funnily enough came about because i was making a drawing of some kinda night parade of spooky creatures and i needed another creature at the back because it was looking kind of empty and just kinda added her in the back without thinking 😭. there was no thought behind her design whatsoever. literally all that had changed since then is the colour scheme and the nose shape

this one is just fai. i hate them because they’re just impossible to draw right without looking like absolute nightmare fuel 😭

why are they holding a doughnut? i have no idea, it just felt right.

i know this one’s slightly on the more uninspired side but tbh i just thought it’d be funny to have this stupid annoying ghost child and so this gremlin was born

i don’t even remember anything else about how they came about tbh, as far as i can remember they just appeared in my sketchbook one day and then just became a recurring character for no reason lmao

okay so THIS guy is the BANE of my existence because i love skeletons and really wanted a skeleton character but cannot draw skeletons for the LIFE of me and so i have only drawn him like thrice??

i was gonna do a full body but nah fuck that he already looks wonky enough 💀

ANYWAY i almost forgot to introduce him: this is skelegy and he’s a skeleton butler guy who inhabits an abandoned house called the nightshade abode, which hasn’t been lived in for years, but he refuses to leave, still keeping the place functional and homey. well, as homey as a house that’s haunted by a skeleton can be, anyway.

he pretty much just uses it as a shelter for anyone who has lost their way and lets them stay in it, and takes care of them for as long as they’re there

he’s overall just a kinda sweet guy who wants people to care for and a house to keep, but people are usually repelled by his face

i literally cannot come up with a name for this guy. none of the ones i’ve come up with suit him, so i’ll just call him kai-masu for now because why not he’s a shopkeeper

you ever just make a character and say “screw design conventions, i’m going to make the most ridiculous design for a character possible”?

yeah, that’s kinda what i did here.

i kid you not, he was made when i had the symmetry tool on, and accidentally swiped my pen across the screen, and it made a weird shape and i thought “yeah, i can work with that” and then just kept adding onto it until it was a full on character

he has quite a lot of “lore” but icba to write it all here this post is long enough, so put simply, he runs a shop but instead of paying him in money, you pay him in souls. and he eats them. i mean, if i’m gonna make a character with such a weird design OFC i gotta give them weird lore

okay so i wasn’t gonna include her because my back was breaking by the end of this but i had this (albeit crudely drawn and not entirely accurate) picture of her laying around so why not

so yeah, this is ashley. she basically just follows that trope of “kid who just happened to be in the right place at the right time starts seeing ghosts/monsters/whatevers and making friends with them.” yes i’ve seen this in like 3/4 different franchises and i do not care because it’s my favourite trope ever.

without spoiling too much, she comes across a strange charm that made her start seeing the unseen. unknown to her when she first picked it up, it holds a lot more than it seems.

she’s the main character of that comic that i was meant to start posting in APRIL but other things kept popping up and i just forgot to, so you never know, i might just stop stalling and start posting it sometime soon. no guarantees though, the smallest inconsistencies drive me wild and i would not survive if even the smallest thing was wrong after i posted it :P
