Seriously chaotic fashion misadventures

I realized I posted a teaser and never really followed up on it, so here is some more of that

“Hey, Dami?”

Boy hadn’t looked up from the kittens he was bottle feeding but let out a hum indicating he listened.

“I'm thinking about trying out a more girlish style. Do you think it would suit me?”

Well, Damian had no idea but if Dani wished to give it a chance, then, well, the only proper reaction was to offer his aid.

“Father, I require access to your rouge gallery.”

Bruce almost choked on his breakfast when his youngest made this announcement.

Rouge gallery, as his children playfully called it, was vast collection of lipsticks, which he collected to uphold his Brucie persona. Famous playboy with head constantly in the clouds couldn’t not show up with discreet signs of scandal from time to time. And it couldn’t always be the same shade. Or scent when he choose more subtle approach and used one of his more feminine perfumes.

In all honesty, he enjoyed this.

But that’s not the point, point was that Damian wanted to use it and Bruce needed to know what disaster would fall upon him if he agreed.

“Mind telling me why, chum?”

Dick, who visited Manor for a weekend, barely stifled his laughter while Tim stared at his empty coffee mug like it personally betrayed him. Cass just wore her usual knowing and mischievous smile.

Damian shifted in his chair, hands clenching on butter knife. He was nervous and suddenly Bruce dreaded the answer he was about to hear.

“I don’t see how me sharing this information would change anything. It won’t be used to cause harm to anyone but it’s necessary in the extracurricular project I just started.”

“Dami, what project?” Dick asked, voice oozing with genuine curiosity and excitement. He was almost bouncing.

“I don’t want to disclose it.”

“Is this a hero or civilian type of deal?”

Damian didn’t look any of them in the eyes, both hands clenching on his seat as he kept shifting. Bruce narrowed his eyes. Was his youngest… flustered?

“Civilian”

“Alright, great” Dick swung back with single clap, almost tripping his chair over “I think B won’t have anything against you using his rouge gallery, will he?” Man knew his oldest son well enough to recognize his ‘don’t you dare to disagree’ tone. He was confused but there wasn’t any harm so he nodded with affirmative hum.

“Thank you, Father”

Boy practically inhaled rest of his food and rushed outside. Despite all his training and all his efforts, they clearly saw his excitement. Tim pinched himself and returned to staring at his mug.

“Cass, have you seen what I’ve seen or am I overreacting?” Dick asked, barely restraining his enthusiasm. Girl nodded eagerly, shoving more crumbs into her mouth. Young man cheered, throwing his hands up.

“What have I missed?” Tim mumbled, frowning a little.

“BABY BAT HAS A CRUSH!”

Cass nodded again with wide smile.

Oh.

Oh no.

Who were they? What did he know about them? Was Protocol 3r0s started? Did someone run a background check already? What could they do if they somehow hurt Damian? Was this person a risk to their identities? Oh gods, oh no.

He probably will have to do The Talk™.

He always dreaded having The Talk, with any of his kids. He felt The Talk with Damian would be even worse. Understandably so.

“Also sleep in at least three da-”

“Fuck off, dick.”

“Was this insult or-”

His children remained obvious to how much work it meant, cheering and sassing each other like they often did.

Damian did not know how it was possible but he lowered his guard enough to get caught.

"What are you doing?" Brown choked out after they stared at each other for a long moment.

"It does not concern you–"

"You're rummaging through my wardrobe, not many things concern me more and also, that's frickin creepy don't do it to anyone outside of the family"

She did have a point however he was not convinced it would be the correct approach if he shared his plan. Father's wards (even unofficial like Brown) tended to make assumptions and overreact based on these conjectures. Dani wasn't easy to scare off but he didn't want to check if his family would manage. They often did things thought to be impossible.

He tried to get away but the blonde stood fiercely in a door, leaving the window as the only way out. He wasn't this desperate. Yet.

Girl looked more and more angry at his silence. He had to give her some answers.

Now that he actually considered it, she could be a useful asset. She was far better versed in women's fashion and if he phrased it correctly, he wouldn't even need to bribe her. Question was, how should he phrase it?

"I have an acquaintance- I have a friend," he corrected himself "from the animal shelter I volunteer at. She mentioned wanting to try out more 'girlish style' and asked for my opinion. I wanted to see if you had any clothes that would fit her. She is smaller than me so I thought that whatever I take, it wouldn't be missed." 

Brown grinned with an unsettling gleam in her eyes. He suddenly regretted opening his mouth if not coming to this room in the first place. 

"Say no more, I have a plan Demon Child"

yep, I’m going back to my old favorite with my current favorite, called me crazy but I actually think it’s a little bit more fun.

With the fact that Danny would in Twisted Wonderland and when it happens is after D-stabilize and before Phantom Planet or after Phantom Planet (I can’t decide which one) so with that in mind I can see when Danny meets Grim, he wouldn’t be fearful to him as that Ghost boy has dealt with worse.

In a way Danny can get away from Grim easily (the poor cat would struggle to find him until he did XD) though Danny would try to reason with Grim but of course he wouldn’t listen and try to attack Danny until Crowley showed up and stopped the devil cat.

Interesting Facts:

• Danny doesn’t fully trust Crowley as the headmaster wouldn’t keep his promise for getting Danny back to his world, in Danny’s case he isn’t really responsible enough. (Oof 😭😅)

whenever he gets annoyed or mad at Grim, Danny usually calls him ‘lil menace’, ‘gremlin’, and ‘Devil cat’ as he refuses to be called Grim’s “minion”

When Danny shows his ghosts powers to Ace and Deuce it was around in the dwarf’s mines when he saved Deuce from the phantom blot (at the time they didn’t know that)

In classes in NRC Danny actually had a good grasp on class lesson to a point where he gets genuine good grades, confused and surprised he goes up to Crewel asking if there is a mistake and when Crewel confirms that all his class work is correct. The poor Halfa was in complete shock that he would say “I- I never had this good grades besides that one test..” he said which would make Crewel genuinely concerned about the Halfa (papa Crewel is best Crewel QwQ)

In each of overblot victims’ memories came when Danny see them he would genuinely feel bad (pacifically Riddle’s, Azul’s, Idia’s, and Malleus’s) he sees those memories seeing them struggling with their trauma similar to his trauma (yes Danny has some trauma but hide it better until he lose his composure.)

The more time Danny constantly facing the phantom blot (since he doesn’t want to hurt the victims) after Grim in the end of book 5 scratches him in his ghost form, his injury would get infected with some of the blot that overtime he would have a high chance to be Overblot himself as well (the rest of the Twst crew would know Danny’s personal struggles and fears mainly of Dan Phantom)

Danny does sense a lot of ghosts in Twisted Wonderland as his own ghost sense would go off so if the Ramshackle ghosts try to scare Danny then he would be aware which actually amuse the Halfa as he is surprised that the ghosts in twisted wonderland is different in his own world and even the ghost zone as well.

When Danny befriended some of the main Twst crew, he is actually close to the first years though when he met Jack Howl it was awkward as his dad’s name is Jack so, to insure of no confusion Danny would call Jack Howl by his last name or ‘Jackie’ which it is understandable to Jack as he does not want Danny to be uncomfortable.

In story Danny would have to use his ghost powers in so many ways as in book 1 when Ace was kicked out and had Riddle’s collar on, out of curiosity and thinking Danny used his intangibility on the collar and taking it off of Ace’s neck which made the Heartslabyul student very happy but Danny told Ace that he had to put it back on his neck so that Riddle wouldn’t know. To the dismay of Ace but begrudgingly he agreed on it as it for safety reasons.

when Danny met Malleus, to the Halfa he thinks that Malleus is really cool and would call Malleus ‘Draco’ because of a constellation and also means Dragon as well, for Malleus was surprised that Danny would nickname him of thing that he was passionate about which made the dragon fae felt happy as they both would talk about their favorite interests (Malleus with gargoyles while Danny is Stars and space)

When any Twst characters asks Danny about his family and friends, he would definitely talk about them mostly he would also talk about his other friends from different dimensions, a boy who is big genius, a buck tooth boy with little creatures could give anything he wants, and finally a friendly sea sponge who is a fry cook. Danny would admit that he haven’t heard anything from them for a while now but understand if they find out that he is in another dimension they would be freaked out. (Aka Danny talking about Jimmy, Timmy, and SpongeBob though tbh I think Timmy would be jealous on Danny to be in a world that magic does exist XD)

The end of Malleus’s OB, Sam and Tucker did find a way to get into Twst with the help from Wulf who used his claws to get into the world and to find Danny, only to find out that he dealing with an overblot and become overblot himself.

in the Masquerade event would be interesting as Danny would have seen the ghost of Rollo’s late little brother Theo Flamme who stayed invisible in front of anyone except Danny could see him due to be a half ghost

Danny would tell about his ghost adventures to the first years group as Deuce would describe that Danny is a superhero which makes Danny happy about it

if Floyd or maybe even Grim would try to call him Dan or Dan-Dan you would bet Danny would get triggered as he would tell them in a coldest voice “Don’t EVER call me Dan again..!” and later he would tell everyone why after seeing his memories after his overblot.

so in short Danny would have to deal a lot issues but also would the moment that he would admit that he also has trauma issues.

alrighty then, here we go

they’re mostly quite strange since idk shit about character design, be warned

i only had time to draw a few of my creatures so many are missing 😔

there are quite a few and a there’s an UNGODLY amount of yapping underneath so uhhh

first up is (unless i can find a better name) ispen, who actually used to be my old sona, hence the name

basically their whole thing is being a ghost companion thing who just wants to help but usually fucks up instead. they’re also very shy and scared of everything and almost always hides behind the mask (as shown in the first pic) as a comfort thing. they only take the mask off when they feel comfortable and like they don’t need it, but usually keeps it on their head just in case.

the current design likely isn’t final as i’m still trying to figure out wtf their face is meant to be and other things but it’s staying for now.

(man i sure do wonder who this is based on)

next up is jackie, my personal favourite in terms of design

she’s literally just a ghost pumpkin who is a bitch to everyone

i love ghost pumpkins (which are literally just white pumpkins) and i also love ghosts, so i thought it’d be fun to make a literal “ghost” pumpkin

she’s remained practically unchanged and funnily enough came about because i was making a drawing of some kinda night parade of spooky creatures and i needed another creature at the back because it was looking kind of empty and just kinda added her in the back without thinking 😭. there was no thought behind her design whatsoever. literally all that had changed since then is the colour scheme and the nose shape

this one is just fai. i hate them because they’re just impossible to draw right without looking like absolute nightmare fuel 😭

why are they holding a doughnut? i have no idea, it just felt right.

i know this one’s slightly on the more uninspired side but tbh i just thought it’d be funny to have this stupid annoying ghost child and so this gremlin was born

i don’t even remember anything else about how they came about tbh, as far as i can remember they just appeared in my sketchbook one day and then just became a recurring character for no reason lmao

okay so THIS guy is the BANE of my existence because i love skeletons and really wanted a skeleton character but cannot draw skeletons for the LIFE of me and so i have only drawn him like thrice??

i was gonna do a full body but nah fuck that he already looks wonky enough 💀

ANYWAY i almost forgot to introduce him: this is skelegy and he’s a skeleton butler guy who inhabits an abandoned house called the nightshade abode, which hasn’t been lived in for years, but he refuses to leave, still keeping the place functional and homey. well, as homey as a house that’s haunted by a skeleton can be, anyway.

he pretty much just uses it as a shelter for anyone who has lost their way and lets them stay in it, and takes care of them for as long as they’re there

he’s overall just a kinda sweet guy who wants people to care for and a house to keep, but people are usually repelled by his face

i literally cannot come up with a name for this guy. none of the ones i’ve come up with suit him, so i’ll just call him kai-masu for now because why not he’s a shopkeeper

you ever just make a character and say “screw design conventions, i’m going to make the most ridiculous design for a character possible”?

yeah, that’s kinda what i did here.

i kid you not, he was made when i had the symmetry tool on, and accidentally swiped my pen across the screen, and it made a weird shape and i thought “yeah, i can work with that” and then just kept adding onto it until it was a full on character

he has quite a lot of “lore” but icba to write it all here this post is long enough, so put simply, he runs a shop but instead of paying him in money, you pay him in souls. and he eats them. i mean, if i’m gonna make a character with such a weird design OFC i gotta give them weird lore

okay so i wasn’t gonna include her because my back was breaking by the end of this but i had this (albeit crudely drawn and not entirely accurate) picture of her laying around so why not

so yeah, this is ashley. she basically just follows that trope of “kid who just happened to be in the right place at the right time starts seeing ghosts/monsters/whatevers and making friends with them.” yes i’ve seen this in like 3/4 different franchises and i do not care because it’s my favourite trope ever.

without spoiling too much, she comes across a strange charm that made her start seeing the unseen. unknown to her when she first picked it up, it holds a lot more than it seems.

she’s the main character of that comic that i was meant to start posting in APRIL but other things kept popping up and i just forgot to, so you never know, i might just stop stalling and start posting it sometime soon. no guarantees though, the smallest inconsistencies drive me wild and i would not survive if even the smallest thing was wrong after i posted it :P

Here is a shortstory or something I just wrote. I was bored because my PC is still dead so... yea. Have fun with it. I will reread and correct it tomorrow... maybe, i have to go to bed now.

Its a cute sidestory of Jackie and Nibbles and some Nori hints in it. Its nothing special but maybe it keeps you entertained for the next 20 minutes or so. Depending on how fast you read.

The sun beamed through his window, and the more he woke up, the more he could hear a loude purring that came from his chest.

It was his most favorite gremlin, Nibbles. He was surprised when Val showed him this strange looking cat the first time. It wasn't how he imagened his first cat, but he fell in love with her fast. When he wasn't feeling well after he wad brought back, Nibbles was his secret nurse, that would come by and would spend him comfort with the purr of hers. Nibbles and... this figure that seemed to follow and watch over him all the time.

But it was like Amata had told him: It got less with time. The whispers and the song this vision made, got more silent as the months went by. Now, its only sometimes that he would see or hear something.

Nibbles purring and meows were now the only things that woke him, and not only if he wasn't feeling well. It was on such sunny days as well, as if she wanted to tell him to get up and use this day.

A happy sounding meow came from the hairless cat that was making biscuits while Jackie pat her head with a wam smile.

"Good morning chiquita. What'chu up to today?"

The answer was a soft headbut against his nose.

"I see. Lets go then."

He picked Nibbles up and carefully set her down beside the bathroom sink. Her favorite spot when it came to Jackie-watching. At first, he thought it was weird, but by now he was used to getting stared at by a cat while taking a leak in the morning, or when he took a shower afterwards. When he was taking a bath, she sometimes would join him in the warm water.

"Ev'ry good mornin' needs a good breakfast. Don'chu think?"

A meow was the answer, and Nibbles jumped off the sink to lead the way to the kitchen. She got used to the new house so fast, it was as if she designed and build it.

When passing the big window, he could hear a faint laughing and see a slight movement in the little garden that was on the other side. It was filled with sunflowers and a big tree. It was sunny enough to let the flowers grow, but would have enough shade to stay cool when beeing there. It wasn't the first time that this vision would play there and he sometimes wondered if its a ghost, he accidenty gave a home to.

Sounds of Nibbles roaming the kitchen caught his attention again, following it, he saw how she tried to pry open the cabinet with her snacks in it.

"Aye, Chiquita, you'll hurt yourself like that. Come 'ere."

He picked her up and sat her on the kitchen island.

"And don't tell Mamá I let you sit there. Ok? If she kills me because I do, there won't be any extra snacks for you anymore!"

Loude purring and a small meow were his partner in cirme's answer.

"Thats my girl." He said and gave her a kiss on her forehead.

He didn't know why, but since he was back, he would often do that. To anyone he held dear, sometimes even to Vik, who looked at him first more than confused. Everyone did, but they just dealed with it as one of his new habbits and got used to it. If they had the chance, Valerie and Vince would even return this favor.

After the extra snack and a good breakfast, Jackie decided that today was a good day to work on his car. And it seemed that Nibbles would aprove that plan as she laid on the warm roof of it, while he worked down below.

This cat was like a personal assistant when he had a day off. She woke him up, told him when it was time for an additinal snack and a meal for him, and even decided when he worked enough under the hot sun.

It wasn't like he had pictured his life as a legend, but he didn't mind it at all. Action when he was on the job, and on the days off at home, he had at least one animal that he could share that time with.

Sitting on the couch with a purring cat which he patted lazily, already falling asleep, he thought about how good he had it now. How amazingly fast this all happend. Before he died, it took him years to even get some recognition, sadly one that killed him as well. But he was given a second chance and now everything worked just fine, with Valerie and Vince, he had built something amazing and was now King of the Afterlife. Probably thanks to his death as well.

But it somehow felt like there was something missing. Something he couldn't put his finger on. When heading to bed, he came to an hold, when Nibbles ran into one of the guestrooms he had let build. It was one of her hobbies to hunt down the little animated Koi that lived in the floor. She wouldn't stop follow them, till all where hiding under the waterlittly leafes. After that she would proudly sit on the bed, like she just defeated a dragon and saved everyone in the house.

"Dios mio! You're such a strong lady! Wow!" He told her these words every time, and every time she seems to grow a bit taller. Even prouder of her archivement.

He picked her up and gave her a soft hug, careful to not crush her with his strengh. For a short moment, he could swear to remember a dream in which he looked down on this floor. Not at the floor, but at someone who was laying on it. Blue, teary eyes that looked up to him.

"Come on Chiquita, lets go to bed."

As he laid on the bed and listened to Nibbles purring, he looked at the ceiling, thinking about how happy he was now. How he loved his new home, his castle that kept his loved ones save. But he couldn't shake the feeling as if something was missing. Or someone. He looked out of the window, and watched the moon as it stood still in the sky. Silently watching over the world. And then it came to him, he knew what was missing.

He turned over to Nibles and shone and excited smile.

"Hey, sweety. How about a brother? One named Manny?"

Ok, so last night I had two weird dreams worth sharing. My Weird 2024 Christmas Eve dreams, so to say.

First dream-I’m in Disneyland… but then instead I find myself in this building owned by Disney. I think. And @jackie-gremlin-ghost is there for some reason (at least according to my dream). Now this is a building that no civilian is supposed to be in here and we are both after something specific (I don’t recall what it was). An elevator ride is involved despite the fact that we are trying to lay low. But then one floor has a gift shop and there are workers’ families and kids there.

Then there’s a weird jungle gym of all places on one floor. Jackie is a master at using this jungle gym like she’s Indiana Jones, and is able to cling to the equipment with little to no problem. I don’t know how well I did, but I wasn’t as good as she is. Some camera guys catch us, but they want us to help them film a scene for some adventure thing instead of kicking us out.

However, I highly doubt that was Disneyland–everytime I dream of it, it NEVER looks like the Disneyland I know.

(Also, Jackie, I have no clue why you were in my dream. But apparently, there is a universe where you are basically the equivalent of Indiana Jones.)

The other dream-I’m at this huge European castle. Somewhere in the Scandinavian region (I think it was Denmark but IDK).  And the ruler who owns it wants to get me to marry him. Yes, really. Or I think I accidentally did something to the other girl and he wants me to replace her? IDK.

Outside there’s this duck bathing in this tiny fountain. And then there’s five or six snakes stretched out in this pool of water and somehow I think that’s a sign of good luck. They are all huge chonkers that are super long, but one is still short and doesn’t want to stretch out.

Ok, so inside the castle? Lots of rooms, but there was a room full of sheet music, a room with miniatures of manors and castles…. And apparently, if you decide to marry the ruler, your wardrobe is more like a large clothing store with EVERYTHING in it. And drawings of most of the main girls from the movie Mean Girls are on the wall of this room for some reason (that’s what my mind told me, despite that I’ve never seen that movie).

So as for the ruler? I think he was some tall, sixty-year-old guy with facial hair and he’s got gray in it. And he really is trying to give me reasons to marry him, but I just don’t want to. And–I kid you not–my dream self thinks ‘If you were Todd from The Ghost and Molly McGee I would marry you/give you a chance. But you aren’t so no.’

I did not marry some sixty year old ruler of some European country. Thank God. (But if he HAD been Todd, I WOULD be willing to give him a chance, because a Todd with a castle sounds prety awesome, even if that doesn't seem fully in character of him.)

The lesson to take from my dreams? They are freaking weird when they merge things together.

Here’s a Scratchyenne ask: How big of a cuddler is Scratch when it comes to Chy? Is it even more so after he gets his body/memory back?

After being use to hugs by Molly, Scratch eventually gets more comfortable with touch, but with my sona, he was very hesitant at the beginning due to being scared that he would feel weird to her. So the first time they cuddled, Scratch clings to her, almost desperately, afraid of letting go and stayed that way for a while. Then after that, he would find any excuse to grab onto her. And the fact that they are both soft and squishy helps lol

Once getting his body back, he realized that he can physically feel things more intensely then before, so when they cuddled with his new body, he just MELTS. But while a ghost, he was more clingy at first out of years of isolation and being so touched starved.
