I keep on figuring out things that make me mourn Morgen more…

So in Charlotte’s flashback of when her curse activated and Yami saved her, Yami is shown smoking a cigarette.

We know from chapter 286 that Yami only started to smoke after Morgen’s death.

Considering that Yami, Nacht, and Morgen were born the same year and Charlotte was born a year after, that means that the twins’ 19th birthday was the same year as Charlotte’s 18th birthday (the year her curse fully awoke).

Morgen was only 19 for a few months (4 tops) before he died.

One thing that Gadgetinis got wrong was Gadget’s personality. If they’d kept his respectful and well-meaning personality from the 1980s, his relationship with Nozzaire could’ve been much better off. Instead of constant tension, we could’ve seen moments of mutual respect and growth. Gadget’s kindness could’ve softened Nozzaire’s rough edges, and Nozzaire’s discipline could’ve helped Gadget. The humor didn’t need to come from cruelty—it could’ve come from their dynamic as unlikely but effective allies. It’s a shame the writers didn’t see the potential in that.

Instead of senseless cruelty or endless conflict, their relationship could have been a mix of lighthearted banter and heartfelt moments. Gadget’s well-meaning mistakes could have become opportunities for Nozzaire to grow emotionally and for Gadget to better understand leadership and teamwork. The humor, much like in the 1980s series, could have stemmed from Gadget’s naivety paired with clever, uplifting writing.

Why does Disney always have to ruin something that could have benefited Nozzaire and Gadget?

Imagine a version of Gadgetinis where Nozzaire’s gruff, disciplined attitude contrasts with Gadget’s lighthearted and naive nature, not in a way that breeds constant contempt, but in a way that fosters mutual respect.

Nozzaire could have begrudgingly admired Gadget’s dedication, even if his methods were unconventional.

The more I think about it, the more I feel sad that we didn’t get Colress in the SunMoon anime

Like not even from a shipping perspective, it would have been hilarious to see him and Faba interact. In keeping in the style of the show I think Faba would have been super jealous of Colress at first, but after his demotion I can see him becoming kind of enamoured by him- like a science groupie lol. Colress would have so much fun making up bizarre, random facts and then teasing Faba when he earnestly believed them.

It would be even funnier if Wicke was the one to first introduce Colress to the kids as this real stand-up guy, and Ash immediately recognises him and blurts out to everyone that he tried to take over the Unova region with Team Plasma. Awkwaaaard.
