hi i’ve noticed that you do a lot of character analysis and i love them. do you have any favorite shows atm and are there any character analysis that you wanna do?

thank you! i binge watched the rest of you last night with my best friend and i kind of want to do a joe pisces venus or scorpio moon post but i worry about people taking it the wrong way due to the character being a serial killer lol (he is a good example of both of those placements though if you are interested in watching or have seen the series 😅)

in the future i also want to do some of the gilmore girls characters and the women from the handmaiden, i’m sure of their placements already but i just want to skim watch some of the content again before i actually write the posts.

as for favourite shows, i can’t particularly think of any favourites right now but i am watching the glory and abbott elementary as they release. the only problem is that i can’t place placements in every character or show. characters are fake people and some characters are just not realistic enough to give examples of placements. for example, even though i love the good place and did a post on eleanor being moon in aries, jason and tahani as side characters often had fluctuating and inconsistent personalities that would change to suit what the plot needed or were sometimes too caricature-esque (so even if i could give them signs, making tahani a leo or sagittairus maybe, it just wouldn’t feel authentic to what i’m trying to do).

i think i answered a little more than your question but i’ve gotten a few requests for certain characters or shows and i just wanted to explain that sometimes i simply just can’t do it, thank you for taking the time to read 💖

6: The Sound of Sedna

In speaking of Björk, it’s not possible to ignore the dwarf planet Sedna, the Inuit goddess who created seals, dolphins and whales from her cut off fingers as she sank into the ocean. Sedna seems a perfect fit for Björk and she has this Oceanic flavour woven into the fabric of her work. Sedna’s orbit is long and distant yet contains the mysteries of deep water. She is in her words ‘turned on by nature’. She embodies this sea-loving archetype so well in her highly organic imagery and wearable art. She is not one for geometric shapes and squares- the only ‘cube’ she ever referenced was in her first band, the Sugar Cubes. She prefers sinuous, wavy lines inspired by spiralling floral and organic growth- and her idiosyncratic song structure and development captures this innate sense of nature too. It is deeply instinctive and all the better for lacking any intellectual overlay that would deaden the energy.

She has no problem appearing in designer creations and wearable art as a sea anenome, a caterpillar, or a seed pod bursting in all directions. This is often about embodying themes of evolution, biophilia, and transformations of all kinds.  Scorpio is after all about morphing and shape shifting. If she appeared next as mythical bird, the Phoenix, don’t be surprised. She has already been the swan as the infamous white swan dress proved. This was on the cover of Vespertine and on the red carpet at the Academy Awards. Apparently, it was David Bowie who encouraged her to appear in the swan dress at the awards as he ‘always wanted to see her as a bird laying eggs’. 

Björk has Sedna at 29° of Aries which could suggest the angry warrior activist making a last stand for justice. She even calls her latest project ‘a call to arms.’ Alan Clay who has researched the dwarf planets calls Sedna the higher octave of asteroid Ceres, the goddess of the grain. Sedna has now retrogaded back to at 0° of Gemini, so it aligns more or less with Björk’s North-South Node axis.  She has an affinity with cold Arctic places and often sings with a female choir of Inuit throat singers from Greenland. Sednna opposes the 0° of Sagittairus position squares 0° of Virgo and Pisces. Sedna will eventually come close to her North Node at 4° of Gemini. That won’t be exact until 2029 which could be a challenging climax for her ‘nature’ activism as it becomes more strident.

But she has already set up a foundation called AEGIS whch an organistion against open net pen fish farming in Iceland. The industry which spews poisons and plastics into the ocean. She wants to protect the Wild Salmon from this fish-farmed variety.  Her next musical release due on November 29th Björk and Rosalia, remixed by Oral and Olof Dreijer from the Knife, is waiving all royalites in order to pay towards AEGIS and saving the environment. One of her statements articulates this Pan-Psychist approach.

She never really understood loneliness she said because as far as she was concerned she was ‘in an orgy with the sky and the ocean.’ The song Isobel is about a girl who rejects the urban environment and retreates into the forest to collect moths. It’s the ‘epic’ side of Björk. There is a bit of a drama queen in there too along with the experimentation. She’s a ‘complete’ a universal artist, not just a pop singer. She just works through the medium of Pop to be able to reach more people.

Prince, when he was alive, said ‘In a perfect world, Bjōrk would be more popular than Madonna’. A better reference point though might be Kate Bush, a Leo, who has been a shining influence on her work. There’s a song just called ‘Moon’ on Biophilia which says ‘the best way to start anew is to fail miserably….. then realign the whole’.  This could be the perfect advice from a triple Scorpio whose feelings are occluded, yet also expressed in music, but who also finds it easy to shed skins and transform.

It is interesting that her Moon is in the 12th House -and has always claimed to be a genuine introvert. If that means she’s in touch with shifting feelings that is certainly true. But the Moon also rules her own last decan of Scorpio. Her latest sound installation in Paris ‘Nature Manifesto’ talks of ‘the web of life’ and the ghosts of animal sounds ‘remind us of improving our primordial mindfulness’.

Bj��rk is a fascinating strange creature and even when annoying, always an artist to watch closely as she evolves along with the planet and keeps us on our toes about the way music should be or how a female artist should act. Next year, in 2025, she’ll reach the age of 60 and she’s not done yet as a creative force.

WOW. That's all I can say. Just wow. Yet another planet domicile. And it's the chart ruler!!!!!

Sagittarius is ruled by Jupiter, Jupiter is the chart ruler, and Jupiter is domicile in Sagittarius!! I am in bliss.

So. Sagittarius, the mutable (changeable, adaptable) fire sign (energy, spirit.) Sagittarius is ruled by Jupiter (fortune, expansion, excess), and its symbol is the Archer (or: Centaur.)

Sagittarius, to me, brings to mind a bonfire. Very bright and warm, fun and cozy. It's a place of gathering. Of storytelling and songs and jokes. Sagittarius is very openminded, easygoing, and free-spirited. Sagittarius values peace and adventure. It wants to have a good time, basically. It wants to travel the world and meet people. Very even-keeled, very go-with-the-flow. And Sagittarius aims (archer, remember?) for higher purpose, higher knowledge (spirit.) Sagittarius is very philosophical, even spiritual. It is the value of knowing other places, other people, other cultures and molding one's morals and worldview based on knowledge, and that knowledge is gained through experience. Which, of course, gives not only strong Gryffindor vibes, but very Ravenclaw vibes, too!

Now, Jupiter is what I call a more "intermediary" planet. Not as important as the inner (or personal planets), but still closer to who we are than the outer (or generational) planets.

The intermediary planets are Jupiter and Saturn. I'm more familiar with Saturn, as the planet of discipline and life lessons. Saturn is sort of what molds us, what shapes us, whereas Jupiter is our potential, I think. Saturn is restriction, Jupiter is excess. Jupiter is generosity and abundance.

Jupiter works best powered by Sagittarius energy. This gives the sense of finding luck and/or success with Sagittarian ideals. Sharing/giving, particularly with one's energy, experience, ideals. That fiery energy and that philosophical lean. How you benefit others with your wisdom and history. There is also a deep, abiding sense of morality here. Those very passionate ideals. So standing up for those ideals/morals, sharing your views, fighting for what's right, and particularly defending freedom (of yourself and others.) Sagittarius very much values freedom!

That same Sagittarian energy is found on the ascendant, which is the energy with which you react the world, and how the world perceives you. So we think that vibrant warmth and generosity of spirit. A big mind for philosophy and morals and freedom and creativity. A sort of wandering spirit, in a sense. Very easy to be around, and the sort of spirit people are drawn to. The bonfire, remember? But the bonfire is still fire, right? So however "chill" Sagittarius might seem, they are still on fire, and that fire is lit up when it comes to what matters.

So yeah...big Gryffindor energy.

Not knowing the rising makes me itch, but we will make do! (I have a special interest in ascendants and chart rulers, it can't be helped!)

What interests me is you have 3 planets domicile. The moon is domicile in Cancer, Mercury is domicile in Gemini, and Venus is domicile in Taurus. So each of those planets gets a little boost of power for being domicile, because the planet works quite well with those signs' energy.

We also see bonus points for Gemini, being that the sun is in Gemini. Gemini is ruled by Mercury. Mercury is the dispositor of the sun. And Mercury is domicile in Gemini, which is the same sign as the sun. So Gemini feels quite powerful in your chart.

Gemini is the mutable (changeable, adaptable) air sign (intellect, sociability.) Gemini's symbol is the Twins, and it is ruled by Mercury (planet of information.) It is a younger sign (third in the zodiac) and the last spring sign. So we throw this all together and come out with a very playful, charming energy. Very curious, and clever. Very bright. Very "bouncy" energy, in a sense. Gemini likes variety, trying new things and meeting new people. Collecting new hobbies, or new information.

We see this energy shine in the sun (ego, core) and Mercury (learning, communication.) So with Gemini Sun, we see that in the root of who you are, which everything else then colors and adapts. Then with Gemini Mercury we, again, see perhaps a very fun/playful approach to learning. A zest for learning. Perhaps interested in a variety of subjects. Very playful and charming with interactions. Prime Ravenclaw energy, but also a bit of Slytherin. Say, an ambition for knowledge, a resourcefulness rooted there, the ability to use that knowledge (and connections!) for self-preservation. Cancer is the crab (hard outer shell, soft innards.) Cancer is quite reserved and sensitive, which is just the energy that our internal world (the moon) works best with. We see here a sense of compassion, and nurturing. The moon is tied to the mother; Cancer cares about roots, home, family. There is this inner, emotional need to be safe and settled. To protect their vulnerability (sensitivity) and protect their loved ones (home, family.) There is a strong sense of loyalty here, and caring.

Very Slytherin, yes, that drive for self-preservation. Perhaps a sense of resourcefulness one finds in caring for the home and family. (Think the Mother, and how Mothers are well known for doing what must be done, and getting crafty in caring for wayward children.) That loyalty, and caring for "one's own" lending to fraternity. But we also get a great sense of Hufflepuff here, too. That nurturing, compassion, loyalty.

Which then leaves us with 2 earth signs! Earth signs are very based in the body, connected to the senses, the physical world, material objects. They are very grounded (get it, earth?), steady, focused on security. (Specifically: material security.) We see Venus (love and pleasure) and Mars (drive and sexuality) here, which more or less go hand in hand (think: Venus and Mars were lovers. Venus representing romance, and Mars sexuality.) (Venus what we enjoy, Mars what fuels us.) Both in that steady, reliable, practical earth energy. But each planet takes a different form.

Taurus is the fixed (stubborn) earth sign and is domicile in Venus. Taurus is the Bull. Venus represents what we love: people (be they lovers or friends), hobbies, interests. For Taurus this takes a very reliable, practical approach. Taurus' loved ones can rely on Taurus. Taurus is steady, stubborn, in for the long haul. Taurus works hard! Taurus provides! Taurus is loyal. But also: Taurus is sensual, and romantic, ruled by Venus as it is. Very physically affectionate (Venus - love, Taurus - body, senses.) Interest in beautiful, tangible things. Might take up gardening as a hobby (beauty, earth.) Might enjoy crafts (a hobby that is quite physical that provides tangible results.) Taurus Venus loves good food, good music, self-care, etc. That's how Taurus feels best.

Virgo is the mutable (changeable, adaptable) earth sign. Mars represents aggression, action, drive, challenge, competitiveness, and sexuality. What fuels us, what pushes us forward? Virgo is perfectionistic, critical, capable, reliable, service-oriented, focused on routine and organization. Virgo is the Maiden. In love languages, while Taurus would be "physical touch", Virgo would be "acts of service." Virgo's aim is security. It finds security in taking control and taking matters into its own hands. And Virgo helps others, again, by making itself and the world around it "correct." Correctness, rightness, is security and safety and comfort.

So we can see Virgo as being driven to perfect. It has a desire to fix and make right. Virgo wants to attain security. And when Virgo takes action, it's in a very methodical way. Virgo makes a plan. It makes a checklist and goes through checking and double checking. Virgo makes things happen!

So both are Hufflepuff, of course. That sense of loyalty and hard-working. Taurus Venus has a more Slytherin lean, I think. The focus on pleasure we see in Venus sort of brings out Taurus' more Slytherin side. I always think of Slughorn and that "work smarter not harder" mentality. His enjoyment of candied pineapple and having a comfortable, safe life.

Virgo I often see as being more Ravenclaw in nature, especially with that focus on perfection and criticality and rightness. There is a sense of knowing, and needing to know. The attainment of knowledge for the sake of protection and safety. In Mars, though, I don't wonder if we see more Slytherin in it? That sense of perfection and physicality turning to resourcefulness? And this idea of knowledge as self-preservation? I get more Slytherin vibes here, but I still feel the Ravenclaw aspect is stronger, so I'll give Ravenclaw the minor point.

So in the end we have:

Gryffindor: 0 points

Slytherin: 1 major point (moon), 3 minor points (sun, Mercury, Venus)

Hufflepuff: 2 major points (Venus & Mars), 1 minor point (moon)

Ravenclaw: 2 major points (sun & Mercury), 1 minor point (Mars)

Which is...mightily inconvenient. However, we do have to keep in mind the extra boost Gemini has so...I think we'll give this win to:

Hey!! If it's okay, I'd like to ask about two of my prominent harsh placements: 4H Gemini Saturn oppose MC Sagi Pluto and a T-square comprising of 5H Cancer Jupiter, 8H Libra Mercury RX and 11H Capri Ceres. My Ceres has more harsh aspects than good ones, and I'm not sure how to channel her energy productively. These two are the ones I struggle with the most, so I really want to learn how to manage them. Hi! I can’t say I know much about T squares but I’ll give my best interpretation!

For your Saturn opposite Pluto in the 4-10th house axis, this is a pull between who you are (you roots, your family ect) and your future and goals (job, recognition, ambitions). Both planets are pulling in different directions. You might struggle between hating change and needing it, and changes may be intense and deep. Who others see you as and what you want to be is opposed. Saturn in the 4th May tug you toward security like having a secure stable job while Pluto and the 10th house invites you to change and take a risk. Be careful not to let your maturity or responsibility keep you stuck in a place you don’t want to be. The Gemini Sagittarius axis is meant to be freeing.

Jupiter square mercury would create someone who jumps from one project, thought and idea to another very quickly. Square Ceres you might jump into thoughts and beliefs that hurt you, or start projects or lines of thinking that take away energy from taking care of yourself. Be careful of how you treat your body and mind and your perception of yourself. Be careful that your beliefs aren’t hurting you especially! You might have trouble keeping to a schedule or remembering to take care of yourself, often pushing your emotions away in favour of a new idea, project or anything exciting. I’ve heard the key to balancing a T-square is balancing it out with the qualities of the opposite sign (I believe that’s Aries in your case). Self doubt and people pleasing may keep you away from your goals. Figure out what you want and what you need before helping others.

With challenging aspects to Ceres you might have a comlicated relationship to family, affection and nourishment. Even if you didn’t receive what you needed in childhood to feel cared for, you can give yourself what you need. Check for any flowing aspects to channel your Ceres into or again balance within the axis of Capricorn to cancer.

The Moon’s Journey Across the Ocean: Pisces New Moon Monthly Forecast

 This New Moon is as dreamy as they come, and this may leave you feeling a little on edge. You’re not used to such a flowy energy. You’re used to going against the tide to get to the waves, but the energy encouraging you to go with the current is almost overwhelming.

Coinciding with the New Moon, Uranus moved into Taurus for an 8 year stint. It’s time for us to take a new look at money. Is success making hundreds of thousands of dollars a year, yet working 80 hours a week, or having the ability to get away for the weekend, any weekend you choose, or not even wanting to get away because your bedroom and living room are your own private oasis, even though no one would gasp in awe at your salary. This is also the time to break free from any constrictions you feel around beauty. Uranus is represented by the garden of beauty, while Uranus is the planet of rebellion. Uranus is coming in and throwing lightning bolts in amongst the flowers to change what no longer works. The next time someone comes with an opinion of how things are supposed to look (even if it’s the voice in your head) laugh out loud. See? You’ve just fired a bolt of change. Know that when Uranus leaves Taurus in 2027 the runways and catwalks will look very different. The change has already begun (we see you Riri!).

Mercury Retrograde will be taking you on a trip down memory lane where secrets may be lingering. Also look at the old dreams you’ve left to die. Usually you’re trying to make the best decision in the moment and go, go, go. Mercury Retrograde gives you much needed pause to see what you want out of this waking life.

On March 10th you’ll be glad that you reveled in your dreams for a little bit, there’s going to be a strong revelation coming to you about work, money, responsibility, and value. It may not be something you’ll be able to move on yet, but know that this is real, not just your imagination. You’ll be glad you took this into account earlier in the week, come Wednesday, March 13th it will be a blaring alarm you can’t ignore. Know that it’s part of your destiny to transform, and there is a light at the end of the tunnel.

Be wary of those who talk too much about their beliefs and ideals come the end of the week. You know what you saw, and you trust in that experience. Usually, you use your words to explain exactly what you want, and you’re not afraid to butt heads with those who don’t agree. Yet, it’s tricky- this month you find that you best mode of expression in through the psychic, and through creative modes of expression- a song moves you in ways you hadn’t thought possible. Still, it’s important to speak and set the record straight. You’ll be surprised what comes from your mouth when you speak from your Truth.

Hurray! The Full Moon in Libra and the First Day of Spring all fall on Wednesday, March 20th. Some see this as the first day of the New Year, and you may want to too if you’ve taken a liking to the analog energy of Mercury Retrograde. However, be careful as the Sun enters Aries to begin Spring and trip off the Full Moon it bumps into Chrion, and we may feel this strange tension between the excitement of changing seasons, and the despair of not fully being able to enjoy it as old hurts arise. It may feel as if you’ve been cut open with a knife, and the Sun is shining on places you weren’t ready to look at. An old story around your father may crop up from the place you thought you’d buried it. Being the pharmacist of the cosmos, Chiron likes the aid of herbs for healing.

You may feel that your need for freedom and your current reality aren’t matching up. Know that healing wounds will set you free whether it’s therapy, acupuncture, or going for a long walk in the quiet to see what truly rises up from your psyche.

Two days later on March 22nd Black Moon Lilith and Venus meet up in Aquarius. The energy is forward thinking and no longer wanting to take any shit especially around future profits and value systems. This is a nice one to know about, because the day it happens you will completely have had it with something that is shriveling and dying in your life. You will want to rebel in the grandest of fashions, just make sure this rebellion is in your best interest.

Venus enters Pisces on March 26th. Traditionally Venus enjoys being in Pisces being swept away by the enormity of the frequency of love. However, this position can lead you to being secretive for the sake of love, and not saying what you mean because it would ruin the meld you’ve achieved with a lover. In other words, you’ve established co-dependency. Luckily Venus is very close to badass of the sky, Black Moon Lilith, to aid in not taking shit from anyone.

The next day Mercury stations to go direct, the haze of the dreamworld will lift, but hopefully during this time you’ve become an avid dream journaler, and you’ve seen the space where your dreams can exist in real life. Sure, Mercury Retrogrades can leave you feeling derailed, but Mercury’s real purpose during this time is to allow you to see new possibilities. Let the dream energy come with you, now with more clarity in your waking life.

Venus will surprise Uranus on this day well. Expect relationships and flirtations to crop up. If the new couple were friends or lovers previously expect this union to stick. If they’ve only met at a party over the weekend, the sparks may be real, but the participants are either not meant to be this lifetime, or need to go down their own paths until they meet again. Also, you may be presented with a surprise gift. Receive it with Venusian glee.

On March 28th things will grow incredibly intense as Pluto meets up with the South Node. Pluto rules the underworld and oversees the cycle of death and rebirth. The South Node is everything you carry from previous lifetimes. You may feel like you’re living in the Twilight Zone this day, or that you’re the phoenix rising from the ashes.

Even though it’s hard, when faced with the choice of the past you’re familiar with and the future, you must run with arms wide open toward the future. You’re not meant to live out endless cycles of pain as a soul in this universe, you’re meant to grow from this pain and end the cycle so that your reincarnations after you can take on new adventures. Over the next day the Moon will float by with a message from Saturn. If you choose to be reborn it will be fascinating to see what manifests. If the limits Saturn imposes feel too harsh, the 28th and the 29th are good days to rest, or go for a walk with a good friend.

You’ll be feeling better as Mars enters Gemini on the 31st. Things that just didn’t seem to be taking off this past month suddenly have legs and they’re running!
