Lucien felt it was an honor to guard the borders which protected the people of Spring. Lucien asked Feyre to not force him to risk the stability of the court. He asked her to put an entire people first, not Tamlin. The people who suffered for 50 years, the ones who weren't the nobles and were forced to do terrible things. He showed concern for them as they worked towards rebuilding their lives after Amarantha. Lucien performed the Rite with his abuser to help the lands of Spring. Lucien expressed sadness over not being able to return to Spring, not just to Tamlin's Court but the land beyond it. Isn't it more than likely that Lucien was trying to help pull Tamlin from his depression, not for the sake of his friendship with Tamlin but for the sake of the people of Spring who are currently without a ruler? Who have been without a true ruler since UTM? For the safety of Prythian in general considering the location of the Spring Court and how it borders Autumn and the human lands? Lucien Anti's often miss the bigger picture when it comes to Lucien's actions, focusing solely on what he did or didn't do for Feyre (despite the fact that he was willing to die for her on multiple occasions). They forget that an entire people and their safety is at stake. That Lucien often acted like a leader focused on the good of the many and not just the one.

EARTHSPARK S3: review??? (SPOILERS!)

this weekend I watched earthspark and I have to say something or I'll explode. This won't be a review as much as just some loose thoughts trying to summarise what this series had became.

STARSCREAM I hate what happened with starscream. I wrote an analysis of how this character got absolutely massacred in S2 (you can check it out here). To summarise: In S1 he was such a great character, shown so intriguing with both his not perfect character and his history of being abused. In S2 they made him the villain in an absolutely shallow way, in the final episode writing him in a way that makes him irredeemable. And I thought thats the worst u can do. And then S3 happened, when he appears for one scene to be shown as funny for "being crazy" (WHICH IS ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING WHEN U REMEMBER S1 WHEN HE WAS A VICTIM OF ABUSE THAT NOONE BELIEVED. IS THIS REALLY A GOOD IDEA TO PORTRAY HIM AS HAHA CRAZY GUY). It's absolutely heartbreaking to watch that scene. Starscream gets electrocuted by the very person he opened up to in S1, he was in isolation for all of the S3, he went insane bc of that, and still at the end we drag him to autobot jail. what is this.

PROWL I have no idea how such an intriguing and complicated character from idw that was clearly an inspiration inspired such a dull and shallow character. His process of learning about respect for human allies and terrans is shown so poorely and never feels like being actually resolved, I won't even talk about this. I admire how they did two things I thought were impossible. I thought it's impossible to make IDW inspired Prowl in this show a good guy (I genuinely thought he's going to be the bad antagonist). I thought it's impossible to ignore his weird and complicated relationship with Tarantulas, in a show that had Tarantulas in S1, was created with Nick Roche as character designed and was inspired by The Sins Of The Wreckers specifically in specific places. They did both of those things and it worked out horribly, congrats.

CONCLUSION I can't understand what happened with this season. it's visible there was some cuts, it looks rushed, it lacks any substance, and Quintessons at the end... didn't help the case let's just say. But that isn't my bigest problem. I feel devastated by what happened to the ideals of the show. in S1 we had decepticons in cages, and figuring out it's not actually a good solution. In S2 we saw decepticon as boring usual villains. But in S3 we have decepticons in one big cage again. But this time there is no consideration, there is no doubt. Even if under Shockwave they just want to go home. They should all be kept imprisoned. No matter if they mean no harm, no matter if, like Starscream, they suffered enough. And there is nothing to figure out, that's just how the world works. After all, they are decepticons, right. yes I'm bitter, S1 was just very important to me and seeing what happened to ES is just sad.

IDW collection reading update! :D 📖 (Fixed!)

Phase 2 volume 4 done! This volume included: Monstrosity, RID issues 12-18 and MTMTE issues 14-16!

I ended up reading all the way to Phase 2 volume 6 before finishing this update so my notes are a bit scattered! Anyway! As usual my thoughts are below :3 ⤵️

Monstrosity:

This story is set in the past, when Optimus has assumed leadership on Cybertron after the senate and pervious primes were killed.

This story is, I dunno... For some reason I can't really get into these?? It feels... edgy?? Idk, I feel like that's not the best way to describe it. But there's something about the vibe with these ones in the past (like Autocracy and this one).

Of course everyone is becoming the characters we know since this is in the past. So there is going to be a lot of fumbling and growing from them and things that seem out of character. But given their situation at the time, i can't be super harsh on odd decisions.

They have to deal with the senate and their corruption, as well as that from the previous primes, the Decepticons uprising and wanting to take over, Cybertron running out of resources aaaaand I feel like something else I can't remember rn 🤔 but a lot is going on!! Haha.

There is a scene that references the OG animated movie where they toss Megatron out of Astrotrain and he goes "I still function...!" Which was a pretty cool homage tho.

But this kinda felt like a whole way to just show how badass Megs is meanwhile Optimus is going through it on Cybertron �� It was entertaining and interesting at parts, but some things I was 'eh' about

RID: 12-16:

Before i go on, I'm sorry, but... this Megs panel is giving me the same energy as that little alien guy that was in the news months ago 🤣 Now actually⤵️

Megatron returns!! This story was very entertaining!! I feel like I can usually guess where something is going, but I was surprised by a lot of the twists here! There was so many!

The character deaths had me shook! 😭 Wheeljack ahhhh!!! Metalhawk!! Also everything with Prowl and the Constructions! O_O;

I'm sorry Prowl 😔 I was pretty surprised when they started killing off the Decepticons at first, but then went: "Well, I guess he's being super ruthless now" I couldn't see you were brainwashed!! 😭🗿To my defense, him teaming up with Arcee and given Arcee's record, it kinda seemed like the natural progression of things lol 💀

Two things I kinda have mixed feelings about tho are:

1. Arcee just casually being part of the Decepticon gang and no one questioning her being there?? She then easily kills the guy controlling Devastator and that was like... Megatron's big plan. Why didn't she do it sooner? I imagine it was to draw out Meg's, but still it seemed weird.

2. Starscream killing Metalhawk after Metalhawk came to save Starscream. It's in his character and everything, and I'm happy that he did it bc it shows who he is. But OOF I thought he was leaning a different way for a bit and that I had Starscream wrong, But no, he's greedy boy. (I was starting to like Metalhawk T_T)

Anyway! Good guy Swindle!! 🥹

MTMTE 14-16:

💀💀💀💀💀 BIG SAD. But!!! It was a super interesting story!! I really enjoyed learning about Overlord and Chromedome.

Chromedome becoming Trepan's apprentice in the past was crazy!! :O And the whole scene with him and Prowl in Prowl's office. When Prowl asks/threatens Chromedome to go into Overlord's mind 😙👌 *chef's kiss* GET 'EM CHROMEDOME!! 💪👊🔪

The whole thing about how the Phase Sixers are made was very interesting too!! This frame ⤵️ Meg's saying this made me lmao 😂 I can now see the thing between him and Overlord better now.

As for Overlord getting out and obliterating some of the crew... ughhhhh 😭😭😭 Pipes man!! Ratchet protecting the medibay was awesome. Best doctor 🚑😌

I was shocked during the fight with Overlord that Magnus got so injured!! I've read ahead already, but I was sweating it, I thought he was gonna die too 😭😭 Overlord goes right for your spark man 💀

Luckily they got Overlord back to his containment cell, but- 😭😭😭😭 LITTLE MAN 😭😭😭 Why'd he have to hop in there to get the sword??? OTL

Then Chromedome blowing it up once the cell disengaged from the ship 😭 It was a perfectly painful sequence! 👏

When I saw the scene with Whirl and the cannon/ blaster shooting asteroids, I knew it would come around 😔

Also!! Learning that Chromedome has had other deep connections with bots (idk if Brainstorm meant Conjunx' specifically) and given them his innermost energon before and that's why he's dry!! Excuse me as I sob 🤧🤧🤧🤧😭😭😭😭 and then he makes himself forget!!! UGHH OTL My heart man!

The tape that Rewind made too!! 😭🤧

RID 17-18:

We got more Shockwave lore here and I'm a big Shockwave enjoyer so I was very happy!! More heartache of course tho 😢

Him pitching/making the Jhiaxian academy of advanced technology is huge. Then all the experiments he did once he was turned purple 💀💀💀

Him going to Dai Atlas and injuring him before the attack on the senate so that he would escape death was a cool surprise. He's still in there ;_; ahhhh.

There is another story that happens in current time where Bee gets turned into Goldbug, but I think he's called "Goldfire" here? 🤔 He really got injured during the whole thing with Meg's so they had to fix him up with pieces of his old earth form.

It was cool to see included in the story :3

Final Random Thoughts:

This volume had a bunch of great stories in it! And I learned quite a bit about characters I like!

Though it was sad, I'd say my favorite story was the mtmte one with Overlord (The Overlord arc?). The art is always fantastic and so is the story!

I look forward to reading more and I'll be making another reading update very soon since I'm already on volume 6!

I didn't want to lump them all together bc I like using images as the story breaks and Tumblr only let's you use 10 per post 😔 Also... I ramble quite a lot haha, so 3 volumes worth would definitely be too much! 😂

So a random idea related to the fact part-insecticon!Bee is affected by the weather.

SO- we all know bugs don't like cold. They hide and bury themselves to hibernate. But bees are a bit different, they like warm weather- heck they themselves are very resistant to heat because their hive defence is literally swarming the intruder and boiling them with their body heat.

So that being said; Bee is having the best time of his life during heatwaves. Like, a very warm summer that would be quite dangerous for humans or even normal bots is the best time for him to go do shit.

I imagine when the heatwaves hit in summer, everyone keeps a fan near them to cool down cuz it's just that hot, even if the plant is already chilly on its own. Everyone is suffering but the moment they come out of their rooms- "GOOD MORNIN' EVERYONE!" Bee with the biggest happiest smile one could have. He's been going around base restless since the sunrise and making food for everyone. He's even done some chores.

If Bee's team couldn't keep up with his usual energetic personality the one he has now is even harder to follow. They are miserable and he's even more bursting with energy. Oh well, at least they have one functioning member of the team in case something happens.

A funny scene that would play out is when Bee puts his arm on Prowl's shoulder and leans on him while they're talking. "You're hot.."

Bee would just blink before replying. "Awwh thank you! I didn't know you felt that way.~"

And Prowl would just have more of a weary expression before weakly explaining. "No, literally. You're too hot. Please step away..."

And yeh, fair enough- Bee has been out basking in the sun and absorbed so much heat one could get burns if they touch him. (Sari might have gotten one on accident, Bee felt so bad) Ratchet is just confused because the temperature his frame is at is enough to straight up melt him, lol.

Bee may be feeling great during heatwaves but he feels awful cuz he can't spend time near his friends. One time someone compared him to a sun- Bee thought as in a bright and happy presence. No, as in a burning ball of fire and wanting him a good distance away from them. Ouch.

Oh and since it's a blitzbee au, Blitz is not having a good time either. First of all it's a heatwave and he's big and used to the cold atmosphere of the underground. He may be able to withstand it since fire is one of his elemental weaponry and he has a light paintjob in comparison to other 'cons (RIP Prowl and his matte black).

The cons generally stick inside when the weather is too harsh to do anything so Blitz is not much happy when he's forced via texts by Bee to come out and hang out with him. Deepdark is a dramatic king through and through.

God, man, the big cameo panel on page 2 took me so long to finish. But I liked getting to draw all the animal species.

Deepdark is very performative, and with such a violent group, he has to make sure they all feel welcome, and more importantly loyal to him. His lieutenants help enforce that.

All the theorizing about Longest-Claws was so so fun for me. And they caught on so fast! Very nice. Actually, we will in fact learn why Deepdark chose to talk about Longest-Claws and the origins of Defiance in an upcoming issue!

Jazz sung along to the strum of the last cord, his voice coming to a crescendo with the chants of the crowds.

It had been a long time since he'd headlined a proper performance. And the rec-room might not have been as exclusive as The Iacon Indies, but it was no less popular.

With Elita-One's crew having finally arrived, the room was literally bursting at the seams. Bots crowded as close as they could to the tables that they'd pushed together for a makeshift stage. Each of them eager to experience Jazz's music.

For once Jazz didn't have to fake the smile on his face as he soaked up the adoration.

"That's all for tonight folks!" Jazz cried. "But don't worry, my boy Blaster will be banging tunes for the rest of the night!"

There was a short sigh, before Blaster blasted out the up beat beats of his turn tables and suddenly everyone was cheering again.

Jazz slung his aghartan electro-bass over his shoulder as he jumped down from the stage. Bots closed in from all around, eager to sing his praise or flash their headlights. But this was far from the first time Jazz had to escape his fans. Syncing the black and white of his body in with the shades of colour around him, he easily disappeared into the crowd.

He made it to the drinks table, avoiding the punch that the twins had clearly spiked and grabbed an untampered cube of high grade.

Speaking of the twins, Jazz spied the pair dancing with the birthday bot himself.

Upon request, for Bumblebee's sparkday present, Jazz had furnished him a battle mask. It was made of black steal, the seams seared together with strips of yellow neon that evoked the veins of the wings of the organic creature he was named after. It was some of Jazz's best work, if he did say so himself. Practical yet stylish, if the appreciate glances that the new bots from the MacCadam's base, aimed Bumblebee's way were any indication.

Jazz wondered if Bumblebee would become a man tonight in more ways than one. Most of the bots on board the Ark had watched Bumblebee grow up. They would be disgusted at the idea of getting it on with Bee. And if any of them did think about it then Jazz would make sure that after a night a too much partying their bodies would never be found. But most of the MacCadam's crew hadn't. And Bumblebee was a full grown bot now. As much as Jazz still saw him as the speck of a sparkling that they'd found all those years ago.

Pushing those thoughts away, Jazz wrapped an arm around Bumblebee's shoulders.

"Hey big bot! Here's your first taste of high grade!" Jazz said, thrusting the cube he'd grabbed earlier into the young bots hands.

Bumblebee suddenly became very interested in said cube, avoiding Jazz's gaze whilst Sideswipe burst out laughing and Sunstreaker smacked his twin upside the head.

Jazz rolled his eyes. It wasn't as if he hadn't suspected as much. Besides it was a little late to get mad at under aged drinking at this point.

Not long later Bluestreak finally arrived at the party, her grey skin adorned with swirls of a familiar golden paint. Jazz left Sideswipe and Bumblebee to tease Sunstreaker on his slack-jawed reaction.

Jazz weaved between the crowd, guiding mechs towards the dance floor or bumping into those bots who were a bit too shy to make the first to step towards their partners, making them take a step closer.

Behind the turntables he spotted Devcon, drink in hand, chatting up a very receptive Blaster. Mirage as expected was hiding in in the corner, only this time he was actually visible as he and Hound performed a dance far too sophisticated for Blaster's club remix. Ironhide and Chromia were making out in the middle of the dance floor. Optimus and Elita stood side by side on the side-lines, pretending that the reason they were stood so close was too be heard over the madness. Jazz even spied Red Alert, earphones over their audials and Inferno's arms around their waist as they swayed to the beat.

But Jazz still couldn't see the bot he was looking for. Then the blast doors opened.

Chapter 11

The next day, she woke up with a whine, “Thirsty…” She muttered, she felt so warm. Had she forgotten to turn on her ceiling fan?

“Here you are dear.” Her water bottle was handed to her off her bedside table. Her eyes snapped open at the voice, she leaned away to get a look at who the hell was in her bed! It was, of course, Alastor! He wore a sheepish look on his face and spoke softly, “Good morning, my dear. I apologize, but you refused to let go of me, and you were in such a terrible state. I understand if you feel the need to slap me.”

 

She blushed, taking a mental note without moving her eyes from his face that all her clothes were in place before accepting her water bottle from him and relaxing. 

“I don't think that's necessary…” She sat up and sipped on her water.

Alastor sat up as well, “Now, what do you remember from last night?”

She drank her entire water bottle before answering. “Well, I didn't even get to finish my drink before Dusty's boss came over to cause trouble… Husker got caught in his smoke and was out of it. Angel protected me, then I tried to protect him. Then… I don't remember much after that… I felt weird, everything was dizzy, and my eyes were too heavy to open. Then I remember smelling your scent and I felt safe. I guess I ended up in your arms? Then I woke up feeling thirsty.” She frowned, it sounded like she'd been drugged somehow.

 

Alastor's ears twitched in irritation from this, “I see… may I hold you a little while longer my darling?” 

She smiled, “ I'd love that.” She nuzzled into his chest, and he held her as well, running a hand up and down her back in a soothing motion.

“Husker should be punished for failing me.” He decided he'd bring it up to her, see if Angel was right about it upsetting her.

“What? But it's not his fault! It's my fault for getting in trouble. Please don't hurt him…” She whimpered and looked up at him with big sad puppy eyes. He groaned, Angel Dust had been right, curse him…

“Alright my dear, as a favor to you, I'll let him get by with just the scolding I gave him yesterday… maybe a little more scolding today.” She giggled at that at least.

 

“Hm, I need to get Angel a gift too. Since his desire to protect you was clearly stronger than Husker's, and I wish to reward good behavior.” He smirked, already having thought of the gift while she was sleeping.

“What are you gonna get him?” 

“A few days off from work.” Alastor chuckled.

“Oh? Are you gonna kill his boss? I'd love that. He scares me…”

He tisked at her, “Now now dear…” He began singing,

 

“Nothing's going to harm you,

Not while I'm around.

Demons are prowling everywhere, Nowadays,

I'll send them howling,

I don't care, I have my ways.

No one's going to hurt you,

No one will ever dare.

Others can desert you,

Not to worry, whistle,

I'll be there.

He kissed the top of her head gently.

“Now, let's get on with our day, shall we? I want you to stay in the hotel while I attend to some errands.”

“Okay, I'll probably just write in my room or read some stories to Dusty and Husk while you're gone… I love you, Al.”

“I know you do.” He smiled fondly, then got up from her bed, offering a hand to help her out, before giving a half bow and disappearing into the shadows.

 

She got up and got ready for the day. Soon as her door shut, Angel's opened and he came out, “Hey! Z, how ya feeling? I'm so sorry about last night.” He approached her quickly looking apologetic.

She smiled and hugged him tight, “I'm okay Dusty. I know you didn't mean for that to happen. But if ya wanna make me breakfast to make up for it, I'd be really grateful.”

He hugged her tight, “Yeah, I can do that.”

“Can you and Husk spend the day with me? I wanna spend some time with both of you today. Oh, and I'm not allowed to leave the building for the day!”

He pulled back, “You okay with that?”

“Oh yeah, I definitely need an ‘at home’ day after last night.”

 

They made their way downstairs and Angel got to cooking, she watched him till Husker showed up. “Oh, there you are!” She hugged him tight and he patted her back gently.

“Hey, you okay?” He looked away from her, feeling awkward. 

“Yeah, I'm good, you okay? Al said he gave you a scolding. Don't worry though, he promised me he won't hurt you over this. Oh, He also said he's gonna give Dusty a reward for doing a good job too!”

Angel froze, “A WHAT?! From the radio demon?! Oh man, it's either gonna be awesome or terrifying.” He seemed worried.

 

Husker sighed, leaning against the counter. “Eh, don't be scared. You actually protected his new favorite pet, so it'll be something actually good. And you really did good yesterday. I hope you don't get messed up too bad by the jackass for this…”

 

The rest of the day was the trio spending time together and bonding.

Alastor came home a few hours later, seeing the trio on the couch in each other's laps, she was reading one of her stories to them. He approached them and smiled, “Well, this looks rather cozy.”

She stopped and looked up with a big grin herself, “Hey Al! Back from a big day? I hope that's not your blood on you.”

He laughed, “Hah! No my dear, but thank you for the concern. I was simply securing Angel's reward for protecting you yesterday.”

“My reward?” Angel looked up at him, “The hell kinda reward makes ya all bloody?!”

“You're getting at least two weeks off from work! Or however long it takes your boss to reform after completely being torn apart and fed to the crows.” He seemed so proud of himself. Angel felt all the color drain from his face.

“Y- you…”

“Ah not to worry, I never told him it had to do with you. This was personal.” His smile grew dark as the static around his voice increased on that last sentence. 

 

He then quickly changed back to cheery, “Welp! I think I shall retire to my room. Zariah, would you like to accompany me and read one of your stories to me as well?” He started walking off before she could answer, leaving a few drops of blood in the hall as he went. She immediately got up, giving Angel and Husk each a kiss on the cheek, before following after her master. “Later guys!”

The whack a mile analogy got me thinking, the twins go on a date at a carnival and for whatever reason the two get highly competitive. First as a friendly joke but then they get serious serious. Darling is just “Wow Ingo great aim!!!” and Ingo turns to Emmet with a smirk and Emmets smile tightens. When darling applauds because emmet is faster at whack a mole his smile is blindingly bright and smug and Ingos pulls his hat down “Because his light was leaking too much for their dearest, not because he didn’t want to see that smug face.”

The carnival was certainly amusing, they supposed. The twin demons didn't seem to be particularly interested in any one thing- The rides were, they supposed, enjoyable- To humans. Roller coasters and the strange rides that gently spun you in the air- Only served to give them future ideas. The entire time the three of you rode the roller coaster, Ingo's mind was consumed with thoughts of taking you through the air so gently in his claws- Resting you on clouds, perhaps- tumbling through the air with you in his embrace-! And although you did enjoy the rides, you were more enamored with the adorable mareeps and wooloos and furfrows at the petting zoo that had set up alongside the fair. Strangely most of the adorable pokemon grew tense when you approached- With your darling boyfriends on either side of you. "Isn't she adorable? Her wool is so soft!" You asked, gently squishing the soft, soft fur of the wooloo as it bleated happily in your embrace- It's eyes darted between the two imposing figures hovering over your shoulders.

"Yes. I suppose it is." Emmet bent down and reached his hand out to stroke the little creature- And the Wooloo snuggled into your embrace, away from the Station Master- Before realizing there was another Station Master who looked far more intimidating on the other side of you as well. Emmet's eyes fell in frustration, his smile betraying his annoyance and his- slight sadness. The majority of pokemon were skittish around them, for some reason. The wooloo didn't feel anything particularly bad from your beloved boyfriends, just- something wrong- Ominous. Ingo moved silently closer to you. Crouching down alongside you, hand on your back while you balanced yourself precariously on the balls of your feet. Emmet sighed, watching the interaction unfold.

You were no stranger to frightened pokemon- And you knew how intimidating the Subway Bosses could be! That was all. The pokemon were simply scared of them, that was all.

"Here, Emmet! Offer her some corn instead. She's probably frightened of you a little bit..." You turned to Ingo. "You too, Ingo- She's just a little intimidated, is all."

Emmet and Ingo both took small cups of the grain- And knew what the reaction of such a cute, small, and pathetically weak pokemon would be. It ran from the three of you, to the far side of the pen, where it stayed.

"She's probably just... jittery?" You sighed in frustration, pouting. Your poor boyfriends- Why were all the cute pokemon so terrified of them?

Ingo stared down at the lambs running around their pen. "Probably. Do not fret, Love. Most pokemon do not like our company."

Emmet leaned over your shoulder, a soft smile on his face. "Yes, do not worry, Darling. We are used to it. Please- Pet the sheep to your heart's content. Brother and I are just happy to watch you- To be with you."

You blushed at his sweet remark, Ingo suddenly bending over to place a kiss on your forehead in an unusual gesture- "Yes, dear. Please, enjoy yourself."

You bent down closer and gave another sheep a hug and smooch, eliciting a cute baa from it. Emmet's eyes didn't leave you- Studying the cute face you made. "She's so soft-!" You remarked, squishing the wool on the sheep- Certainly, Emmet thought, though not softer than him. Ingo kept his eyes over the crowd. He disliked large gatherings like this, out in broad daylight- Too many things prowling about, the heat too intense for your head- The way several humans had looked at you lecherously- It set off his possessiveness, tinged with nerves, and he caught himself several times trying to shield you, hide you away in the shadows of his coat- And perhaps a few degenerate people simply disappeared, like soap bubbles caught on the wind.

You continued to pet the sheep, unaware of your boyfriend's growing- and to them, at least slightly justified- paranoia. The soft expression you adopted, the smile you wore on your face- It stirred their hearts possessively. Ingo watched raptly as he leaned over to look at you- No, the wooloo, of course-!

Though, despite his best efforts... He couldn't keep his eyes off you.

"Daarling, I want to hug you." Emmet whined, his expression softening. You turned to face him, having let go of the sheep. "Of course,-" And before you could even finish the sentence or stand up, you were swept up in the arms of the Station Master- His teeth barred together in an aggressive smile as he pulled you into his embrace.

"Em-Emmet," You spoke, muffled into his chest-

"Emmet," Ingo began, giving his brother a glare- A warning glare, at that- Emmet's smile held too many teeth, his eyes flickering with the faintest glimmer of a light in his eyes-

Emmet smiled turned sheepish, letting you go with a hint of a mischievous laugh- And took your right hand in his, leaving your left free for his brother.

Hands locked with hands, your dear twin beloveds guided you through the rest of the petting zoo and back to the rest of the Castelian Carnival; Enjoying rides and eating delicious sweets- Emmet somehow devoured a massive, deluxe sized cotton candy on his own, and Ingo tried to only pick at yours- looking at it longingly from time to time as the sugar dissolved in his mouth.

It was strange, you noted- When they took your hands, how no one seemed to notice you or them, or commented on the fact that the legendary Bosses of the Unovan Transit System were glued to your sides, holding your hands and watching you intently- Stealing every sort of little kiss and touch they could from you, their darling little sweetheart! It was enough to make you blush that they were so forward in public, but they assuaged you- Promising you, strangely, that not to worry- No one would notice you with them, so please- Just let them hold you, let them touch you-! It barely registered to you that such a thing should not have been promisable in the first place; Or would it? You'd stop to think about it only for Ingo to suddenly pull you in for a light kiss, or Emmet would squeeze you against him tightly- And what else was there to think about aside from the sudden thudding of your heart and the warmth spreading across your whole form as you blushed at their ministrations?

And then came games. You were, at first, not terribly interested in them- You knew how carny games were so often rigged against the player, seeming so easy yet in actuality, much of it came down to luck and chance, rather than any sort of skill.

This, of course, naturally infuriated your darling boyfriends when you informed them of why you weren't particularly eager to play- So they asked you, please, to try one- A cute Gible plushie would be your reward for a simple ball toss game-! If you could win. Finally, you relented.

You chucked a ball half-heartedly towards the center goal-

Only for it to bounce perfectly into your chosen target.

You blinked in amazement. Ingo clapped behind you. "Bravo! If you can do that just a few more times, Love- The little Dragon fluff will be yours!"

You smiled at your love's enthusiasm, though certainly- this was just another one of your strange bouts of good luck you had, right?

And the next ball hit the target.

And the next one did.

The carney watched wide-eyed and amazed that you managed to get four of the five balls dead center- Surely the fifth one would miss...? That Gible plushie was expensive.

The carney gave you your fifth ball- Rough and knicked up and springy and sure to fall far off course and leave you with the taste of a victory-turned-defeat in your mouth- At the very least, he could probably drag a few more games out of you and your companions. You would get so close, why not try again-?

You turned the ball round in your hand, Emmet and Ingo eying it with a glint- Such a vile way of tricking you, they felt. Trickery was only for making your life easier- Not for making it more difficult. And the two watched it as you went to pitch it- Actually putting effort into it, your face contorted in concentration and betraying just how much effort you were putting into acquiring the prize.

And you threw it, watching it fly-

On course! Landing firmly in the center target, making a loud clop as the target spot lit up in congratulations. The carney's smile was strained in annoyance- You didn't have any pokemon with you, so he couldn't even blame it on a psychic type intervening...

Emmet and Ingo both clapped behind you. "Verry good, Darling!" "Bravo!" You smiled at them bashfully, the carney's expression turning to annoyance as the three of you walked off with his best top-shelf prize.

You were a little more than amazed yourself- Walking away proudly with the life-size plushie of the Sinnohin Dragon under your arm- Your two boyfriends asking over and over if you did not need them to carry it for you? You cuddled it annoyingly, and it occupied both of your arms.

Maybe they should not have let you won it so easily-

"Is there anything else that catches your interest, Darling?" Emmet asked, leaning over your shoulder-

You looked over several of the other game stands. Most offered plushes, toys- Nothing too fancy, but entertaining for children, at least.

Until-

You saw the Whack-a-Patrat stand had an absolutely gorgeous Gracidea pin on display in a glass case- On the top prize shelf-

For a dual contest. Both contestants had to score a certain amount of points, and then it would go to whoever got more points.

You stared at the beautiful flower pin- Even if flowers weren't normally your thing, this was beautiful. Crafted from fine cut glass, elegant barely began to describe it. "Crafted by an artisan from the Lostlorn forest, dontcha know." The carney drawled in some heavy accent- Solaceon, perhaps?

Emmet and Ingo exchanged glances; A shared glint between their silver eyes. Ingo paid for the round, chucking a mallet at Emmet, who caught it forcefully. "Shall we, brother?" He asked, maintaining his perfect-as-ever posture. His eyes settled on you for a moment as he adjusted his hat. "Do not worry, Love. If that pin is what you want, then you will have it."

You blushed at your boyfriends endearing proclamation- Not that you expected them to win, or anything-

Until the round started.

Emmet moved first, smacking down patrat after patrat with marked aggression and speed-

"Wow, you're really fast, Emmet!"

Ingo's frown stiffened as Emmet smiled with swelling pride at your praise- All of the patrats had already been knocked down on his side.

"Ingo-wait, did you- Did you already... knock down them all?" You asked, waiting for the count-down timer to start the next round...

"Er, Yes-" He returned, fidgeting with the edge of his hat over his eyes-

"That's incredible!" You cheered- Staring up at him with your oh so beautiful eyes, sparkling so prettily in the sunlight-

"You two do your best!" You cheered to your boyfriends. The demons immediately took your words to heart. Which one of them could- Would be- The one to present you with that pretty gem that caught your eye?

Between the two of them it was difficult for you to keep up with their movements- Emmet moved so blindingly fast, his arms appearing like a white blur over the table- Ingo, on the other hand, moved just as fast but far more gracefully. The patrats descending as quickly as they arose on his side of the table, and the points counter steadily rose on both sides- Emmet's over Ingo's score, Ingo overtaking Emmet... A few people gathered to watch as the patrat whacking game increased in intensity- The Subway Bosses moving deftly and powerfully as they bashed in the heads of the squeaky toys quicker than they seemed to be capable of rising. The Carney was even scratching his head at one point, the score having risen to one of the highest he'd ever seen- Near a thousand points. Even competitive whack-a-patrat players- Would usually score around 800-900 points- And the pin's prize limit was somewhere between 600 and 700.

Their intensity only increased. Emmet's smile split aggressively, His jagged teeth digging into his lower set as he turned his eyes away for a brief second to glare at his brother- Why couldn't he just let him have this-! And-

Ding!

The timer went off, the patrats descended from being brutally thrashed, and Emmet and Ingo both looked up-

985 on Emmet's side, and-

984 on Ingo's.

"Of course I would beat you, brother- Hey, Ow!" You looked over to see Ingo had pulled Emmet's hat down over his brow- bopping him lightly on the head.

"It's not good to gloat after winning, brother." Ingo stated- The carney of course, offered him the pretty glass Gracidea pin- Which was presented to you happily as Emmet delicately placed it in your hair, gently running his hand through your hair.

"Verrrrrry pretty, Love. It looks verry nice in your hair."

You smiled happily, turning to flash the pin. "Thank you, Emmet," You squeaked in surprise as he pulled you close, planting a kiss on your head as his fingers combed through your hair obsessively. "Mm. You are verrry welcome, little Love."

Emmet stared happily- It certainly wasn't as pretty as his feather in your hair... and it didn't glitter like one of the jeweled gifts he'd gotten you before...

But you liked it. That was what was important- And you looked so bashful, letting him seat it in your hair.

You all headed away, leaving the crowd and carney still slightly amazed and confused at the sheer speed of the game that had just transpired. Though as you went to inspect a map, trying to determine where to go next- Ingo trailed behind you, and Emmet suddenly fell back as well- With you still engrossed in the map.

Emmet looked at his brother, his smile shortening on his face, becoming a tense, angry frown.

"Why did you do that?" He hissed.

Ingo looked over at his brother, still maintaining his perfect pose. "Why did I do what?"

Emmet pouted. "Oh, don't play such a game with me, Brother."

Ingo coughed into his hand. "Shiny things like that are better suited for you to give to her, brother."

"You let me win for that?"

"Is that a problem...?"

"You should show her more affection, Brother. You are too reserved."

Emmet continued on, stepping closer to his brother. "Pleeease, Brother? It would be good if you, as Miss Elesa has said, "loosened up" a little bit. Darling would be verrry happy if you did so."

Ingo blushed, looking over at you. Still staring at the map...

"It's- difficult, Emmet. I don't want-"

"You won't hurt her like this, Brother." Emmet smiled knowingly at Ingo. "I am scared too. I can tell you are as well. We watch out for each other, no? But even Darling could tell- That you let me win on purpose. I do not like a victory ill-gained."

Ingo scoffed. "So? You would never have beat me otherwise."

"Excuuse you, Brother. I could verrry much beat you anytime I want." "Oh please, you absolutely could not,"

"Yes I could."

"In what manner? You're far weaker than I am,"

"Am not. I would win in a brightness competition."

"That's completely different!"

"I'm also fluffier-"

"What's fluffy?"

The twins' bickering ceased immediately as they turned their attention to you, having walked back towards them after you'd noticed they weren't beside you anymore. You tilted your head quizzically.

"Ah- Eh-" Emmet stuttered-

"Er, ah- The Wooloos! That we- er- You, pet earlier. Those were quite fluffy." Ingo interjected.

"Ahhh, yes, they were, weren't they?"

You took a sip from your water bottle. "D'you guys want to go see them again? It's getting late, it might be a nice thing to do before we have to head back to Nimbasa..."

"Of course!" They answered in unison, and fell in step behind you.'

They could settle their argument later- For now, you all had some Wooloos to terrorize- Or well, for you to pet.

Just watching Transformers the Movie once again.

I reverted back to that girl whose nails were piercing her hands, thinking "no es cierto, no es cierto", watching as Brawl falled, thinking "ya ya, Ratchet lo va a arreglar, Ratchet puede arreglarlo todo", just in cue for him to fall, Ironhide behind him, Prowl, god-damned, in that moment I literally screamed out: "¡No! ¡NO PROWL!", since he was so funny in G1 and one of my favorites at the time, the way smoke was coming from inside of him, screaming "Ratchet, ¡Ratchet haz algo por favor!" as my uncle was just like "Okay, te juro que esto no es así, es una película para niños, no hay manera que esto vaya así, solo han sido 30 minutos de película".

My uncle wasn't aware of the toy sellers' idea of erasing the older models (Brawl, Ratchet, Ironhide, Prowl and so much others) and bring up brand new ones, and he was also surprised when Ratchet didn't move.

And just got to the part of:

"Do not grief" as my tears start to appear, "soon... I shall be one with the Matrix".

Just like that, I was out of the living room, out of my house, running, screaming and crying like a crazy bitch in the park, leaving behind my uncle saying "ay no molestes sí se murió" un front of my grandparents' old TV.

He tried to make me watch the rest, that there was another Prime and because of Blurr, whom I really liked because he talked fast like me, well, way faster.

But there was no way, my heart was shattered to pieces (no pun intended) and due to the VHS being old, crusty and overall about to give up, I had to see it from the beginning if we didn't want to lose it completely, going "Oh no, no lo haré", it hurt so bad that I stayed away from it and not watching the rest of it, stayed away from all the transformers things for a very long while, my friends asked "¿Qué no sabías que se moría?" and me shouting "¡No, pedazo de animal!"

It was sad, and maybe I was exaggerating a little, feeling bad when I remembered those words "Do not grief" when all I did was cry and mop about it.

Years later I almost forgot about it, and just catched a glimpse of Beast Wars.

And got back at it, falling for that sassy leader "It's just Prime, isn't it?", I think I only got to see the first season as my uncle got into university, him being my main source of content now more worried with other things, well, I didn't get to watch the rest (which some tell was the best, since, well, those are like we don't talk about Bruno kind of deal).

And yeah, that was it, even when I was a little girl most of the transformers media that came years ago was new for me and my uncle since it took time to reach my country, everything we had was secondhand things and not exactly legal VHS, and all of that went with him in his new apartment.

That was it, except for when I finally could watch the live action movies (years after the first two one) in a time I was really down the weather, and remember those words once again when things do get hard.

"Do not grief" he said, not wishing to be remembered with sadness, wishing his friends and loved ones would keep going even when he was gone.

"Do not grief", at least not for long, crying is fine, but please have a smile at the end of it all, if things get hard then you can let go and express that sadness and anger, but then please be happy.

"Do not grief", back to the game I guess (now fueled with lots of angst).

Found family dynamic with the reader (Tfa optimus, prowl, bulkhead, ratchet, sari and bumblebee) please. Basically a scenario where the reader feels like they don’t matter and then team prime comes and comforts them and that they care about them and are apart of there family.

Hello hello, so this took way longer than planned due to holiday stress, but alas I still hope you like it. The focus ended up being more on Bumblebee, Sari and Bulkhead, than the others. Sorry. Thank you for requesting and have fun reading.

GN!Reader & Team Prime (TFA)

After having met the Autobots a lot of things, both amazing and frightening happened to you. At first surprise, shock and adrenaline kept you very much distracted from any or all second or third thoughts you could have had, but recently things had been quieter and you had time to think.

And think you, but quickly your thoughts were filled with all these little moments and ideas you had pushed away just as quickly as they came.

What were you in the eye of these beings beyond a small inconinconvenience? You couldn't bring anything useful to the table and in any emergency situsituation they would need to protect you.

Hell, even Sari, a literal child, was more helpful and less of a burden than you yourself.

Maybe you should keep a little distance between yourself and the team? Make them feel less like they would need to watch out for you at all times.

Deep in thoughts as you were, you did not notice that the team had started to notice your visible absence. Sari looked around the open room with open curiosity and a letting out a thoughtful hum as she did so, which was quick to draw Bumblebee's attention.

"What are you looking for?", he inquired as he leaned down a little. Sari's head quickly snapped up to meet his optics and didn't hesitate to reveal her thoughts to her best friend. "Do you know where [Y/N] is? I haven't seen them for a bit."

From that point on, it didn't take long until the entire team was more or less actively looking for their human friend. Meanwhile you didn't notice them at all as you were still deep in your own thoughts as more and more doubts started to fill your head.

In the end it was Prowl who found you first.

"[Y/N], there you are. We've been looking for you all over." His sudden appearance startled you out of your thoughts and once the information registered in your brain you looked to the side embarrassed as the negative thoughts flared up once more. "Sorry, didn't mean to worry everyone. I'm fine, just thinking about stuff.", you were quick to try and brush the ninja off, while also reassuring him.

A slight frown settled on the bots faceplate and he send a ping to the rest of the team before leaning closer to your form. "Are you sure? It does not seem like it. I am more than willing to lend you an audial.", the ninja offered, watching your reaction closely. The way you avoided looking at him and your slumped shoulders telltale signs for discomfort and other negative emotions he couldn't quite decipher.

Before either of you could have said more, Bumblebee, Bulkhead and Sari arrived and quickly made their way over. Sari was sitting on Bulkheads shoulder and waved excitedly upon spotting you. "[Y/N], there you are! We were looking for you, why weren't you're- hey, what's wrong?", she interrupted herself upon realising how defeated and sad you looked.

Seeing as the three were most likely better suited to talk with you, Prowl gave a last considering look towards you, before quietly leaving.

The three newcomers didn't pay much attention to him though, instead they were quite focused on their unhappy friend. Sliding down from Bulkheads shoulder, Sari settled down next to you. "So?", she inquired again, giving you a gentle poke.

Faced with three curious and concerned faces, you relented with a small sigh. "It's just...in comparison to you all I'm just, you know, useless. Sari, still has her abilities and all, but I'm not in anyway helpful. " You avoided looking into their direction as you talked, already feeling bad for bothering them with your problems, as they already had enough of their own.

There was a moment a silence, before you were pulled into an energic hug by the girl next to you. You wheezed a little at the sudden lack of air, but the sudden swell of words were quick to distract you again.

"That's not true at all. You're not useless!", Sari exclaimed, "You're just as helpful as me, if not more. It just wouldn't work without you, heck, even Ratchet likes you." As the girl talked, Bulkhead carefully scooped the both of you into his servos, to bring you closer to him and Bumblebee.

Once Sari had stopped talking, Bumblebee swooped in to take over, before you could even think of a reply. "She's right, you're just as important as Sari. You're part of the team, we wouldn't be the same without you here. Without you it would only be half as fun and Ratchet would be even more grumpy than he is and the bossbot would miss you a lot too."

Cradled in Bulkheads servos and wrapped in Sari's arms, you could feel your mood raise as your doubts were overtalked with your friends caring words.

A small smile, slipped onto your face and you quietly thanked your friends- family as they chased the negative thoughts away.

Messy thoughts on batch 1 of season 2. SPOILERS

First. The first episode is like breakneck pace, pretty much all action, room to breathe is little. The context of the Decepticons betraying the Autobots after a time of working together is brief. I feel it would help if it was a two-parter or at least slowed down a little so we can actually catch up on the characters the past year. I don't think it was best that it was all pretty much action, it was great though, the story boarding and animation.

I liked that Hashtag was shown to have some battle damage and went out of commission for a while but nothing permanent comes out of it. I initially thought it may play into her picking a new alt mode.

Breakdown basically creating and attempting to be a father to Aftermath was funny. Though it didn't last past episode 1. And the only interaction we get between Breakdown and Bumblebee was when they were fighting in the finale, in the background only though. And speaking of Bee, he was barely in this batch. Only in a few episodes with few lines. It was like he's been demoted to cast B and he doesn't seem to be teaching the Maltos anymore. I hope he's there later, he was such a prominent character in S1 and a mentor to the Terrans.

I love Aftermath and Spitfire, they're fun characters. Twitch's and Spitfire's rivalry was great. Disappointed that JB didn't crush on Aftermath. I hope they come back in the next batch. It would be interesting if they were permanently dead though I doubt it. And I knew Starscream would have to rip those shards out of them in order to complete his plot! This answers the question, Starscream would kill a child.

Starscream is not painted sympathetically at all and there is no mention of his and Megatron's backstory. His motive is briefly mentioned though I wish they put more focus on it. Certain people are going to throw a fit over it. I understand though we still have more episodes.

Sad that there is no Hashtag betrayal, sad that there wasn't a big talk between them of her trying to convince him not to awaken the Titan or even him hesitating.

I wonder what happened to Wheeljack after he was hit with the Cyber Slayer, I think he may be dead but no one acted like he was dead. I don't think we see him again after. They better tell us next batch.

Surprised we didn't see Prowl. He was one of the earliest characters leaked. But I think in the next batches we will see him and hopefully Cybertron. I hope we see Tarantulas next batch as well, I hope Tarantulas and Prowl meet.

I hope Tarantulas reunites with Nightshade the most. Luckily there were there and not taken by a UFO!

I still feel like the Terrans aren't fully fleshed out and I'm disappointed that their dynamics didn't get fleshed out more either. It's too same-y still. I want inner conflicts, I want drama, I don't want this perfect siblings. ;w;

The Terrans personalities don't change drastically, sadly. No characters arcs yet.

I keep thinking about this while watching. This batch doesn't feel mature but to be fair it was the same for batch one in season 1. I see bits of trust but not much of the other two. They'd be in the next batches hopefully.

Over all, I need more than one rewatch. I'm interested in more episodes. I didn't absolutely love it, I didn't hate it I just wish they did more. But I enjoyed what was given and I love my Terrans <3

I think the carnival episode with Robby's crush is my favourite. I hope the Terrans also have crushes in the future hehe.

The night sky shimmered with stars as Chat Noir prowled the rooftops. His emerald eyes scanned the city below. He was on the lookout for any signs of trouble, but tonight, his thoughts were elsewhere. Marinette had been unusually quiet during school lately, and he couldn't quite shake off the feeling that something was bothering her. Every time he tried to talk to her about it as Adrien, though, she seemed to avoid him and whatever the problem was. He didn’t know what it was but all he could think was that he needed to fix it somehow.

As if on cue, a soft voice called out from behind him, "Chaton?"

Unsurprisingly, his feet had taken him exactly where he needed to be. Right by Marinette’s balcony.

Chat turned to see Marinette standing on the edge of her balcony, her expression pensive as she clenched her railing. Even from this distance, he could see that her brow was creased in a frown and he tried to ignore the tug his heart gave at the sight.

"Hey, Marinette," he greeted, trying to sound casual despite the unease in his chest. "What brings you up here?"

Marinette sighed quietly, her gaze meeting his. "I needed some fresh air," she replied, her voice tinged with a hint of sadness.

Sensing her turmoil, Chat extended his baton and hopped the small distance over to her balcony. He stepped closer to her, his shoulder brushing against hers as he instinctively wanted to comfort her. "Is everything okay?" he asked gently, his tail swaying behind him.

She hesitated for a moment before nodding. "Yeah, just... thinking about things," she admitted, her eyes searching his for understanding.

Chat didn't press her further, knowing that sometimes words weren't enough to express what weighed on the heart. Maybe he’d be able to distract her. Instead of asking more questions, he simply gestured to the starry sky above. "It's a beautiful night, isn't it? Sometimes, looking at the stars helps me clear my mind."

She smiled faintly, appreciating his attempt to lighten the mood. "Yeah, it is," Marinette agreed, her gaze drifting upwards.

They stood in a companionable silence, the cool breeze ruffling their hair as they gazed out into the vast expanse of the night sky. Chat couldn't help but steal glances over at Marinette, admiring the way her eyes seemed to sparkle in the starlight. They were beautiful. Even more brilliant than the night stars.

Suddenly, Marinette spoke, her voice barely above a whisper. "Do you ever feel like... everything is fleeting? Like we're just passing through, and one day, everything we know will be forgotten?"

Chat turned to her, surprised by the depth of her words. "Sometimes," he admitted, his voice tinged with melancholy. His thoughts turned to his mother and father before he quickly buried them. He didn’t want to think about that right now. He was Chat Noir. He wasn’t Adrien Agreste. Sucking in a deep breath, he continued, "But then I remember that even if everything else fades away, the moments we share, the bonds we forge, they're timeless."

Marinette met his gaze, her eyes shimmering with unshed tears. "I want to believe that," she confessed, her voice wavering.

He took her hand in his, his touch gentle yet reassuring. "You're not alone, Marinette. As long as we're here, together, we'll never fade into oblivion. And, as long as I’m around, I’ll never forget you or the memories we shared."

A bittersweet smile graced her lips as she squeezed his hand, finding solace in his words. "Thank you, mon chaton. You have no idea just how much you helped me. I’ll do the same for you," she whispered, grateful for his unwavering presence.

Together, they stood there, underneath the beautiful blanket of stars, finding comfort in each other's company. Both of them buried their hurt of the past few days in each other, using the other for support like they had always done and would always continue to do.

I got an idea- what if at some point in time Sari gathered all Team Prime for a group therapy kinda thing where they just talk over the little conflicts and issues and come up with solutions/compromises. As a little team bonding exercise.

At first most of them thought it was stupid but Optimus insisted they do it so 'they can work better together as a team'.

So they all sat in the main room, it was quite awkward starting it but Sari gave them some prompts on how they can word things and it got a little better.

"I don't like when you make such loud ruckus with paint cans because loud noises hurt my audials." Prowl was the one to start it properly.

"Oh, I didn't know that- sorry, I'll try to be more careful next time." Bulkhead acknowledged. It was literally that simple. Sure, Ratchet was a bit stubborn when it came to him and his overworking habit but it wasn't as bad as when someone asked Bee to say something because he hasn't spoken about anything since they started.

Bee was exceptionally stubborn about everything- he kept saying he doesn't see any problems when in fact there were much problems with quite few situations he kept pulling.

Eventually tho Sari persuaded him to try one of the prompts with what he thinks is an issue and he gave it a try.

"When you leave me alone I... feel sad." was the first line he said. When the others asked him to elaborate... boy he wished he didn't say anything.

"I guess I feel sad- and kinda lonely." "I just don't like being alone cuz when I do I start thinking all the bad stuff." "Whenever I try to hang out you just keep telling me to go away and leave you be." "I just wanna spend time with you and it's like you don't want me around anymore and-... uhh."

Bee didn't even realize he started rambling when he noticed all of them staring at him with concerned expressions.

He tried to go back on whatever he spilled about his own issues but it was too late. It soon became an argument about Bee denying anything that was being said to him and the others trying to get him to open up again.

"-All you say is you have more important things to do and won't spend time with-..." Bee spurted out when they were arguing.

"And you think you're not important enough for us to spend time with you?" Prowl said gently what Bee was very much thinking.

"..I- I didn't say that!" Bee yelled. "But you just implied it!" Ratchet yelled back. They were all arguing. Bee was very defensive over everything, just wanting to shut the whole deal down.

"You help us feel better all the time- so why can't we help you?" Sari yelled at him at some point, which made him shut up. Bee didn't answer, all he did was cross his arms and look to the side at the floor in attempt to ignore them.

The others however took that opportunity and started saying that they're sorry about making him feel this way, that they want to help him and undo all the damage they caused on accident, that he is important and how good of a friend he is and how much they care about him.

They only stopped when they noticed tears falling down Bee's face- Bee sat still and silent the whole time, one good look at him would tell he was purposely trying his best to keep the stone expression but the act was falling apart more the more they spoke to him. Forced stoic expression barely holding while his frame shook and more tears fell down involuntarily.

What really broke him was Sari going up and hugging him, closely followed by Prowl. Despite many attempts he couldn't stop his sobs and cried.

"I-i-i h-hate yo-ou al-l..." He managed to choke out.

"No, you don't." Bulkhead said kindly and wrapped and arm around his buddy in a gentle side hug. The rest came together and gave him comfort too. It took a while before he quieted down with the crying but still, he only flopped his helm back on Prowl's shoulder when he pulled away slightly from the hug to ask if he was feeling better now. That meant no, he needed more comfort. And the others were happy to provide it.

After that the others were much more considerate when talking to Bee. All that mess during the session revealed much personal issues with Bee; it was really just a big red arrow pointing at him with texts varying from attachment/abandonment issues, dubious self-worth to the lack of any healthy relationships/friendships before them. It also made them aware of other stuff he does that might and most likely is connected to all these.

Truth be told, Bee did help them feel better whenever they were feeling sad, be it acts of kindness, jokes or play. But he never seemed to have those issues himself, it shouldn't be surprising Bee has been sweeping all of that under a rug to keep pretending that everything was fine. It almost seemed like Bee didn't trust them enough to let them in...

But that was the past. Now they will do their best to not make those mistakes again. They care about Bee and it hurt them to see that Bee didn't think they really did. After the "group therapy turned one person therapy" they all were better at communicating with each other- and whenever Bee did try to hang out they either did or explained why they can't hang out now but promised to spend time with him after they do that.

It might've been subtle change but the amount of times Bee has behaved like an asshole reduced significantly. The others definitely took notice of that. Heck, Bee himself started coming to them for comfort for once- it was rare but it still counted. And it showed the amount of trust he put in them to not hurt him.

They all had their own preffered ways to receive and give comfort- with Bee it was physical touch. His way to show his care and love was hugs and gentle touches so it made sense for him to want those hugs and gentle touches as a way to reassure him.

That session might not have gone the way Sari planned it but hey, it worked out way better than expected in the end.

My analysis of RID15 (good points and bad points of the series)

Hey ^^! New analysis, I haven't done any since last month, that's a long time. Well, as you saw in the title, today I'm going to talk about Transformers Robot in Disguise, 2015. I'm going to talk about what I didn't like and what I liked about the series, trying to develop my reasoning.

Well, I prefer to be honest, I didn't like RID15 very much. Well, I didn't hate it like the Bayverse movies, but let's say that the series mostly bored me a lot.

First of all, I will tell you about the points that I didn't like:

1 - The predictable and bad scenario

First, the scenario is predictable and bad. Generally, when I watch a movie or a series, I expect to be surprised, I like not being able to predict what will happen next. I already predict everything in real life, I wish I didn't have to when I'm watching something.

The problem is that, in RID15, the scenario is predictable, and above all always the same. Here is the list of the typical scenario of RID15 (especially in season 1 and 2):

- The heroes are at the Scrap yard, and often argue over a subject

- They come across a villain (often while going on patrol)

- They attack a first time but fail

- The heroes argue, then reconcile.

- Humans offer to help

- The group moves on to the second attack, and manages to stop the villain

You put this list on any episode of the series, you will see that it works almost every time. Except on season 2.5, but I'll talk about that later.

Also, I presented another point about the scenario, which is that it's bad. There are no triggers, no real adventures or missions, no challenges, no big bads guys, and no relationships between the characters. Except that well, without these five elements, it's impossible to make a good story.

Well, OK, maybe I'm exaggerating, there's a kind of trigger in RID15: Optimus asks Bumblebee to protect the Earth (why only Bumblebee? We don't know. But hey, that's okay, scenario).

But to give you an idea, I will give the example with Transformers Animated, of what is a good story (I could try with others Transformers series). Remember, the five main elements are: a trigger, an adventure or mission, a challenge, one big bad guy or more, and relationships between the characters. It works normally even on the classics, it's the base in fact.

TFA :

Trigger: They are repairers of space bridges, and find themselves propelled on Earth, an unknown place. They cross paths with Starscream, break the All-Spark, and at the same time Megatron comes back to life.

Adventure or mission: Find pieces of the All-Spark, and fight the Decepticons, and also some humans, while having to handle their superiors (in particular the insufferable Sentinel Prime)

Challenge: Well, a lot actually, since they're considered to be at fault for destroying the All-Spark, they really need to fix it. The Decepticons also want to have it, so it becomes even more dangerous, because the All-Spark is really a powerful artefact. Surely Megatron could create an indestructible army with it. There's also a whole conspiracy beginning to form on Cybertron, with the dangerous Shockwave.

Big Bads Guys: Megatron, who leads the Decepticons; Shockwave, who plots on Cybertron; and Starscream, who does his stuff alone (and a Starscream alone is dangerous, remember my analysis: Why does Megatron keeps Starscream?)

Relationships between characters: In the beginning, the small team of Optimus; which consists of: Optimus, Ratchet, Bulkhead, Bumblebee, and Prowl; only see each other as work colleagues, and they really don't get along well. Optimus doesn't want to fit in, because he's still sad about being demoted; Prowl finds Bumblebee insufferable; Bumblebee dislikes Prowl because he's too serious, etc. But, over time, relationships come undone to become stronger. They then form a real team. And even between the secondary characters like: Jazz or Sentinel. Well, Jazz is getting to know Prowl, and Optimus and Sentinel already have a bond. Or with humans, Sari gets along well with the Autobots, but her BFFs are Bulk and Bee.

Now back to RID15, and see what this story has to offer us!

Trigger: Optimus contacts Bumblebee to go protect Earth. He takes Strongarm and Sideswipe (not by choice). They cross paths with Fixit, a small robot who took care of the Alchemor ship, as well as the Dinobot Grimlock (a Decepticon who decides to join them, because OK why not).

Adventure or Mission: Stop the Alchemor Escapees (what more can I say, that's all that happens in seasons 1 and 2. Oh, and actually, there's a conspiracyon Cybertron (but we learn about it only during the end of season 3)

Challenge: Well… These Decepticons are kind of thugs and brigands, so… The risks are: property damage, and the Transformers kind being discovered. We are far from the potential destruction of the world that TFP offers us (no, really, in each episode of TFP, you tell yourself that the planet will end up really dying, given how much the Decepticons are making a mess).

Big Bads Guys: Sleejaw??? Megatronus??? Cyclonus??? Steeljaw doesn't appear often enough, and Megatronus and Cyclonus appear too late, and for only one or two episodes.

Character Relationships: Bumblebee and Strongarm have a leader and cadet relationship; Strongarm and Sideswipe don't like each other; Grimlock appreciates the team but doesn't really try to get to know them; Drift doesn't bond either, but he does have an actual Master/Father relationship with Slipstream and Jetstorm; Windblade passes by from time to time, a small friendship with Strongarm and Sideswipe, maybe. Russel doesn't specifically have a Transformer BFF, Sideswipe may be a friend, but not a BFF. There is still a father-son relationship with Russel and his father.

You see, compared to TFA, the story is empty, the relationships are poor, and the challenges are non-existent.

It's not necessary to have a main character. You can have several characters, and follow them all equally, without one being more important than the others. It's rare, but it does exist, especially in series or films with teams. So, I have no complaints about that about RID15.

On the other hand, the other five points that I mentioned are essential for a good story. You need at least a 4/5, you don't always need to have a big bad guy for a story to be good. Unless if a villain is needed, like in RID15.

2 - Character development is practically non-existent

Secondly, most characters don't evolve, they keep repeating the same mistakes forever: Bumblebee doesn't improve that much as a leader (except a little in Season 3); Sideswipe and Strongarm never seem to get along, despite spending a lot of time together.

I haven't seen any real evolution or improvement, either in the heroes or the villains. Apart from some, which I will discuss later. But, first, what is the evolution of a character?

A character evolves when he learns from his mistakes, or changes his behavior. Usually it's always about getting better, sometimes it can be physically (like in sports manga, where the hero keeps training to get better), or mentally (like getting nicer or more brave).

An evolution of a character often consists in transforming his faults into qualities (therefore transforming them into strength) or in combating his faults, which often prevent him from advancing.

But here, there is none of that. Sideswipe remains eternally disobedient, which often leads his team into trouble; Strongarm fails to bend the rules, or calms down his competitive spirit, which makes him a burden for the team; and Bumblebee doesn't try to improve his command techniques, he just repeats them until it works. And let's not even talk about Optimus (I'll talk about that right after)...

Let's give the example of another Transformers series: Rescue Bots. Already, what we know of the original characters is: Heatwave is stubborn and does not always listen to his team; Chase only cares about the rules but ends up ignoring the rest; Blades is not brave at all and is whiny; and Boulder forbids himself doing things, and does not show what he really likes.

OK! This is the team we have at the moment. However, over the course of the series: Heatwave becomes more empathetic and attentive; Chase tries new things, he steps out of his comfort zone for others; Blades overcomes his fears, and complains less often; and Boulder evolves his curious mind and reveals himself as he really is (an artist and nature lover).

That's perfect character development. And, generally this evolution is only possible if the character makes a mistake, knows the cause, and tries to correct it. Or, a mistake or an accident happens to the character, but he comes out stronger. Blades, for example, is often injured in the series, but he always overcomes the pain, because his primary mission is to save lives. At the very beginning of the series he would surely have whined and given up.

The evolution of the character have to be visible. This is something very important because it allows the viewer to love the character, and to appreciate his new personality little by little.

3 – Optimus is not Optimus

Well, I'll be honest with you, I don't like the RID15 Optimus at all. For me it's not Optimus! Or at least, not the on of TFP, or many continuties (@emperor-kumquat did a great analysis on that: here).

The Optimus we have in this series is a controlling Optimus who does not listen to others. But, what kind of Optimus is that?! Especially since he almost always needs help, which makes him a huge burden for the team.

But it's a fragging Prime!! Respect him a minimum! That's something that really confused me on the show is how useless Optimus is, and how no one respects or fears him!

Sideswipe is even particularly insolent with him, calling him "Pops", and Optimus is forced to call him to order. Except that, normally, he shouldn't even have to!

In Transformers culture, in most series, a Prime is closest to Primus. Like a half-god. It's like if in ancient Greece, an simple human gave a nickname to Hercules like "Cucules". I'm not saying that Optimus should be put in a superior position, but on an equal and respectful one.

Also, the Decepticons do not seem to particularly fear Optimus, but as a reminder: It's a PRIME!! You have a Prime in front of you, and you're just a poor thug who clearly can't do anything against him, you're freaking out! Even Megatron feared Optimus! Megatron!! Fearing a powerful person is a form of intelligence and self-preservation, so I'm okay with some of the villains on the show being a little dumb, but please not all of them...

4 - The bad guys are mostly... lame

Now let's talk about the villains in the series. Honestly, I don't see them at all like a threat, and sometimes even ridiculous. I don't even see them as dangerous individuals, except maybe Steeljaw, and the Stunticons (Motormaster especially).

But otherwise, for me, none of them got the criteria of a good villain (@le-sluagh did an excellent analysis of what is a good villain, I give you the link: here).

I'll sum it up, but basically a good villain should: be a threat, preferably charismatic, we understand their purpose, know who they are, and see them plotting.

But, there, in the series, but there is none of that… The big bad guys like Megatronus and Cyclonus are swept away so quickly that we don't even have time to see them as threats. We know nothing about them, we at least know what they want, that's already not bad.

Most of the villains on the show are empty, they usually have only one personality trait, but that's all. They always have it, and it's always constant. Normally, the villain and the hero evolve, for good or for bad. They change to become better, or change to become worse. But there… well… nothing… Again, in a movie it's ok, but in a series… No...

I won't complain about the show introducing new villains, it's common and it's good to innovate. But, they still have to be presented a little more than: "His name is 'like that', he committed 'select a gangster crime', so he's mean". It's a little introduction of the character, but we really learn nothing...

Also, there's another thing that surprised me, it's that it's that there's only Decepticons with animal forms in season 1 and 2. But, why? Why did the Alchemor only carry this type of Decepticon? Why not other appearances?

5 – Informations or characters that appear suddenly

When I say that, I'm actually talking about something that you don't know, and suddenly find out, when no clues were left for you to know anything.

Again, for Megatronus Prime, it was not that bad (I insist on not that bad). Because, he appears as a kind of hologram around the middle of season 1, but after that he hardly ever appears again. I don't mind that we don't automatically know who it is, but I would have preferred more appearances. Kind of scenes where Steeljaw talks to him, so his appearance isn't too abrupt.

There was also the other half of the Alchemor, which is only mentioned once in the very first episode of season 1, and which we only see around season 2, that's a long time… and above all, well… if it's never recalled or mentioned, well, we forget about it!

And, the conspiracy on Cybertron is way too subtle, it's only really halfway through season 3 that you realize there's a plot. Generally, the spectator understands before the hero, or it's true sometimes at the same time as him (but it's more often in films or detective series).

In each thing I have mentioned, there is one important point: The information is too abrupt or too subtle. It's something that we can also see in season 1 of TFP, but still it's ok, because Unicron and his energon are mentioned very often. So it's not too shocking when Unicron is the final boss of Season 1.

But there, well, you can't know who the real villain is, what the danger is. You don't have any clues, or they're far too subtle to notice.

6 - Morality

I find that the moral in the series is not necessarily well conducted, I can see that it's: by joining forces we become stronger. Except that, since the heroes don't learn from their mistakes and don't evolve, well, morality goes wrong...

Also, there is this discreet but still present lack of respect, which is never sanctioned. Like when Sideswipe disrespects Optimus, or when Bumblebee belittles Starscream. That's not good morality… You don't disrespect someone and don't depreciate them…! This is not worthy of a hero!

Afterwards, of course, the characters shouldn't be totally Manichaean, but they still need to have these values, it's important. The heroes must give a good example (it's also a mistake that TFP does, especially towards the character of Starscream who is clearly a victim of abuse, but who strangely deserves it. No! No one deserves that!).

A film or a series must present strong and above all fair values. Justice is important, and it's not only a hero fighting a villain that you see while watching a movie, but two opposing values! One upright and just, and the other corrupt and perverted!

And, unfortunately, I haven't seen anything like that in the RID15 series…

For example, in the Sideswipe disrespect scene, which I think is inevitable, Optimus might not have gotten upset. Putting himself then in a superior position but full of respect.

Script :

Sideswipe, to Strongarm: Urgh! Stop Strongarm for a bit! You bugging Pops for war stories is getting older than… well Pops!

*Strongarm's shock, and Optimus's silence*

Optimus: I can understand your doubts about me, young Sideswipe. It's true that I'm probably not as powerful as I was before, but in exchange for the power, I gained wisdom, which is also essential during a fight. And together, I'm sure it's possible to form a good harmony. Also, I hope that you will be accept to tell me the stories that can be heard in the present, and that you will accept that I tell you the stories of the past. Because it is thanks to the knowledge of the past and the present that we can create a better future.

I would have preferred an answer like that. More Optimus Prime actually… Not grumpy old grandpa.

And I also would have liked a better conversation between Starscream and Bumblebee. When Starscream realizes the Dark Star Saber won't give him his full power, Bumblebee finds nothing better than to taunt him, telling him that he must really be worthless for even a sword of evil don't want him.

But, in truth, what that means is that Starscream isn't purely bad. That, maybe, even after all that's happened to him, there's still some good side in him. I really wish Bumblebee had said something like that to him, trying to convince him to give up his revenge.

Of course it wouldn't have worked, but Bee would have at least had the credit of having tried, and that would have given him a more noble value. It would have really enhanced Bumblebee, and reminded viewers that no one is totally bad, that there is always a little bit of good. And that's an important moral.

7 - Inconsistencies with TFP

In the RID15 series, I noticed that there were inconsistencies with the TFP series. Except, apparently, it's supposed to be a sequel to TFP. And, when you decide on that, you have to be careful that there are no inconsistencies or glaring differences with the other series.

Of course, I'm not talking about the character designs, it's normal that it changes over the series. Especially in the Transformers universe, the designs are always different.

Here, on the other hand, I am talking about things that we have seen or heard about about Transformers Prime, but whose logic RID15 does not follow.

- First point I noticed: How does a robot change color compared to RID15 and TFP?

Well, maybe it's me who sees an inconsistency where there is none. But, in RID15, Optimus tells his team that the Primes have taught him a lot of things, and at that moment he analyzes a vehicle to change his color. Then he tells the others that he can teach them how to do it.

… However in my memories, in TFP, Bumblebee and Smokescreen were able to change colors without problem in the end of season 3.

So why does the team in RID15 have to learn it from Optimus? While apparently it's possible for a scout and a recruit in TFP.

Is it a technique that has been forgotten over time? No, because if we had started from this theory, only Sideswipe and Strongarm should not know how to do it. Because they are part of the new generation.

The other theory is that it's two different techniques, and that's the one I prefer. I prefer that rather than it being a huge inconsistency with TFP.

- Second point: Megatronus Prime is the first Decepticon, WTF?!

So there is something that totally disturbed me… Megatronus Prime is the first Decepticon?! Lol, no, it's Megatron! It's known in TFP and in the aligned novels, Megatronus the gladiator is the one who created the Decepticon cause. Except, well, this Megatronus is Megatron.

I have nothing more to say about this huge continuity inconsistency. I don't mind that they presented Megatronus Prime, but he didn't have to be a Decepticon symbol, or be featured as the very first. It completely breaks all the continuity.

- Third point: Grimlock is not Grimlock of the aligned novels.

I really like Grimlock in RID15, I find him adorable, he's one of my favorite characters in this continuity along with Drift (and Starscream too of course).

But, I can understand that it can be disturbing to see Grimlock like that, especially if you're basing it on TFP. In the aligned novels, Grimlock is the epitome of brute force. He is a free spirit who obeys no one, and a powerful robot who leads an equally powerful team.

This Grimlock can't be TFP's, it's basically not possible. It's an inconsistency in the continuity, but Grimlock RID15 is so adorable, and above all saves the series so well that I am ready to forgive this error.

Now let's talk about the things I liked. There don't have a lot, but there have some:

1 – Season 2.5

I loved Season 2.5 of RID15, and not just because there's Starscream. The fact that there is my favorite character does not totally influence whether or not I like the film or the series.

For example, I don't like Bayverse movies, even though I can see my favorite character in them.

In fact, if I particularly like this season, it's because:

First, it has a much better scenario than the rest of the series. Remember the five rules?

Trigger: Seven minicons appear and seem to be running from someone we don't know, before it's discovered to be Starscream.

Adventure or Mission: Prevent Starscream from possessing the seven minicons

Challenge: If Starscream manages to have the minicons, he will then gain a power equivalent to a Prime, and by wish of revenge will destroy everything in his path.

Big Bad Guy: Starscream (I'll talk about his villain role right after)

Relationships between characters: Well, relationships don't necessarily improve, but we have at least relationships with Starscream, so already a past bond with Megatron. But also with Bumblebee and Optimus, who know that Starscream is a real threat.

During the episode, Starscream even manages to have the seven minicons. Which is rare in this series. We know that the heroes are going to win, but at that moment you sincerely wonder how they are going to do it. So, first positive point: a well-executed scenario.

Second point, Starscream is a real villain, a real enemy. Starscream has his own musical theme, which in the first place shows his importance. The minicons call him "Him", and they fear him and run away from him. Also, when the other Decepticons see him, they tremble in fear. And when Bumblebee learns of his return, he fears for the future.

Starscream is presented as a powerful and determined robot, which is not afraid of pain to achieve his goal. That's a real villain!

Third positive point, respect for continuity with TFP. Starscream is known, Bumblebee and Optimus know him thanks to the passive they have with him. There, you see that the series is the continuation of TFP. Because, in the other seasons, if you don't tell me that RID15 is the sequel to TFP, I just can't know, especially with the inconsistencies.

Fourth positive point, Starscream does not appear out of nowhere like Megatronus or Cyclonus. Even before appearing, Starscream is already introduced several times implicitly. Sure, you don't know it's Starscream, but you sense a threat is coming soon, thanks to the minicons. A dangerous threat.

That's why it's my favorite season, I was even sad that it wasn't longer. I haven't been bored once watching this season. I wish I had seen this more often in RID15…

2 - Drift and Grimlock

Drift and Grimlock are by far my favorite characters in the series, and for one simple reason: they evolve. They change over the series and improve.

Let's see how Drift and Grimlock were at the start.

Grimlock: A robot who thinks with his fists, who thinks only of fighting, and who does not pay attention to others.

Drift: A stern robot, who doesn't trust his students to let them take their own initiative.

Yet as the series progresses, Grimlock becomes wiser and more thoughtful, and Drift leaves Slipstream and Jetstorm to learn from their mistakes for themselves. Drift also softens.

We also have the background of Drift, with the return of Shadow Raker, which deepens the character, and therefore makes him more endearing to the spectators.

It's a shame that this evolution was not made on the characters, since apparently it was possible.

That was my analysis on RID15, of course, I didn't talk about everything. I haven't talked about Soundwave, nor have I gone into the conspiracy on Cybertron.

For Soundwave, I confess that I did not find the act interesting. And as with Megatronus, Soundwave took too long to appear, only to be defeated in one episode...

The Cybertron conspiracy moment was a good idea, but it's not introduced well enough to really shock or surprise you.

And, it's true that there are inconsistencies with TFP, but there is also some respect for continuity such as: the mention of Miko, Raf and Jack; Starscream versus the Predacons; the fact that Megatron abandoned the Decepticon cause; and Soundwave who is locked in the Shadow Zone.

I understand why some people love RID15, because even with all the negatives points I've cited, this series has great potential. However, this potential has unfortunately not been exploited well enough.
