The Mai-Ster is Retiring!

I just want to put this here juuuuussssttttt in case any are wondering. Vylette has left FF and as Mai's love of her life, wifey and stars and moon it seems only right that Mai goes into the sunset with her darling wife!

With that said I shall still be around with a new character. Sooooo if we are friends in FF there will be a name change on your friendslist which I am still deciding. I'll get'er done figuring out tomorrow. I'll do a new Tumbles because I'll be darn if I get rid of all the beautiful things that happened for the Mai so this is staying put! As it is I'm dragging on the name/look change because it is heavy on my heart. I didn't know it would be this difficult! She is so adorable and gives me so many smiles and happiness. Oh and the beautiful art like the portrait here from @tarotoro0 But it also feels like time!

So if any need to reach me you still will be able to here and I'll be changing my name on Discord to match the new girlie. Erm, I think that's it. Hopefully when I put this new blog together I can rebuild the friendlist since this one has like over 1k but I won't hold my breath! I might turn all blue and purple which with brown skin would be a feat!

This is a phrase I just heard from Dnd shorts that captures perfectly why I often try to make the effort of commenting on posts and telling people that I enjoy their work and why Even to small creators, I advice everyone to make the extra effort to tell them, I can guarantee it makes all the difference in the world, it's not cringy or obnoxious, it'll just brighten someone's day

Danny gets adopted by Bruce Wayne rt

Only problem is that he's King of the infinite realms and while he knows his new dad is batman he doesn't want him knowing he's even dead

Naturally danny has to sneak out to go do ghost king stuff, but Bruce has the whole manner and outside monitored with cameras

Danny, who grew up with a house booby trapped with weapons to kill him on a daily basis got a new skill of making technology ignore him

Thus leads to him altering all the cameras in the back of the house to simply not show him- at all

Like he could be standing in front of it and all they'd see is the background as if he was never there

Eventually the bat fam figure out that while they're out doing their highly business their new member is sneaking out without detection something none of them are able to do

Now they're placing bets on if Danny's a meta or not but Bruce knows he doesn't have the gene

Now ensues chaos of everyone trying to catch him using powers only to find danny has mastered the act of being 100% human

All while he complains about the paper work Constantine gives him

Thinking about how if you use 09 Ghost’s backstory with 22 Ghost, Ghost likely hasn’t trusted anyone since Roba. He retreated into himself and became a husk, because it was clear that trusting anybody in pretty much any capacity was just asking to get fucked over.

The only thing he seemed to have left was his job. He didn’t let a single soul close to him, barely tolerating even Price and Gaz, and spent too much time contemplating pulling the trigger.

And then Soap waltzes into his life.

Soap is energetic, flirty, and seems to think he’s the funniest person in the whole damn world—the only good thing about him is that he’s excellent at his job. Ghost kind of hates him. He keeps all communication short and professional, and avoids Soap outside of missions whenever possible.

But Soap was instantly drawn to his new lieutenant, and despite the man’s rebuffs and typically cold demeanor, Soap has never been one to give up easily. He makes an effort to get to know the elusive Ghost. It happens slowly—very slowly—but Ghost begins to warm up to Soap. He tolerates the sergeant’s jokes better (and even occasionally likes them), speaks more than a few words to him at a time, and Soap’s bright personality no longer makes him want to push the man out of a window. Usually. Ghost starts to look forward to spending time with Soap, and they work together better than ever before. Even Price notices the change.

And then Las Almas happens. Ghost hears Soap’s voice over the comms, and realizes with a startling clarity that he’s relieved that Soap is alive, and not for tactical reasons—he’s relieved Soap is alive because he likes him.

Ghost could’ve left Soap behind, but he didn’t. He coached Soap with jokes, advice, and encouragement as he made his way through the city. He waited in that church with bated breath until Soap arrived, bleeding and exhausted but managing a smile.

After that, they’re practically joined at the hip. Ghost gains something he hasn’t had in a long, long time: someone to trust.

Good morning 🙏🏼

I want to thank everyone their support with reblogging my stuff over the years and reblogging some of the context of the situation.

Tumblr and Instagram is filled with the most supportive people I’ve ever had the chance of meeting. The last time something like this happened, I didn’t have much support, not even from people I thought were close to me. It took me a year or two to be okay with being perceived again in fandoms. So I’m very grateful for everything.

I just wanted to post that I appreciate all of the asks and I’ve been reading all of them. I actually get anxious I’m spamming everyone too much so I probably won’t reply to everything. Please don’t feel pressured to support me financially, there’s is a free option on patreon to follow. I’ll post future project plans and occasional updates because I still love comics and I still love DC/Marvel. I do enjoy having people following along for my art/reading journey so I would always be okay with people just following for free. My brain is telling me this post is too long now so I will go 🙏🏼😭

Something im constantly thinking about is how will Sherlock and co end?? It’s not going to be long enough that Sherlock retires so will he be forced to retire???? Or will the podcast just end but Sherlock Holmes and John Watson keep solving cases but without the podcast??? I don’t worry about this but I’m like really curious. We’ll know eventually…
