Like how do you, a fourteen year old child, try to help out your best friend who has clearly been through something traumatic, but you don't know what. How do you deal with your friend disappearing for weeks on end and returning with bags under his eyes and scars all over his body. How do you deal with your friend leaving and coming back a little bit more changed each time, a little bit more scarred each time.

Good God this is the most heartwrenching, devastating thing I've ever seen.

Sorry to ruin everyones day...Ive been sobbing into my breakfast for an hour now for what it's worth.

His ability to evoke such emotion from a viewer as to drive them into fits of near wailing sobs is just further proof that he is hands down one of the best actors beyond and to all time, and this role was absolutely fated for him. Couldn't imagine him portrayed any other way despite how absolutely shattering it all is.

I decided to look up the MKUltra Mind Control Experimentation out of curiosity and see the extent of it and OH MY GAWD I just had a massive, and heartbreaking realization that Bucky Barnes a.k.a THE WINTER SOLDIER was most likely an unwilling participant in the MKUtlra Human experimentation that originated from the damn NAZIS!!!! So yes, it's highly possible that a portion of his abuse (that was part of the MKUltra experiments) was Sexual.

Also, part of the experiment was about brainwashing the truth out of someone and another part was about making"Robot agents" who would kill without question or thought by using drugs to induce amnesia and make it easier to manipulate them.

SOUND FAMALIAR?!

Think about it, in Mackenzi Lee's book, Winter Soldier: Cold Front Bucky (as the winter soldier) is given drugs to manipulate his compliance, to keep him from learning the truth of who he really is, and to ensure he was nothing more than a mindless "robot" who just killed without a second thought. In the Marvel Captian America: The Winter Soldier movie, Bucky as the Winter Soldier is seen with an IV bag full of a clear fluid (Acid a.k.a LSD is known to be clear in color) connected to his flesh arm shortly before his brain is fried with the Electroconvulsive Therapy (ECT) machine.

You also get that The Winter Soldier was highly active throughout the Cold War (Mid-to-late 1950s to the mid-to-late 1960s). He was active and abused in a highly chaotic and paranoid period of American history.
