This is a overhaul of the Soap Making Station.

What is this? What this mod offers?

Rebranded hobby, offering two types of crafting tables, equipped with 10 level re-named skill and customized items, in 6 different categories, to produce.

You have 2 crafting stations, you need to install ONLY one version!

Carlo’s Cosmetix Crafting Station can be found under Outdoor Activities, and it cost 1750 simoleons. Includes 21 swatches (recolors are allowed, do NOT include the mesh!), and I tried my best to make them close to maxis. The products made on it and the ingredients can be found in debug mode. When you press on the station you’ll see all 6 options of craftables.

Ramen Booth

Description:

Ramen Booth is a large appliance that can be used to buy 10 different types of ramen.  It can be found in buy mode under "Bar". It costs 795$, and it comes in 5 different colors.

When you press on the object you'll see a few options to choose from. You can hire a vendor, tend the Ramen Booth or purchase ramen. You can purchase from the hired vendor as well.

To hire a vendor the interaction is free.

okay so like. lab rats: bionic island is not real, season 4 is the worst one, it's very disorganized, etc etc yes BUT. i think the angst potential of the bionic soldiers was very interesting and so under-explored.

bc like. what the hell happened with all these kids? krane basically just kidnapped them, wiped their memories, and implanted them with bionics, right? and then controlled all of them with the triton app. that's just crazy to me. bc it's like. none of these kids are like adam, bree, and chase at all when it comes down to it. they had actual families. they were not MADE to be bionic. there's a line that i keep thinking about from bob that's like "i keep asking them where they grew up, but they all just say, 'i don't know, i don't remember'!". that's so sad to me. they had families and lives that they just may never find their way back to.

and this all makes it even more depressing that they consider krane their father in bionic rebellion (sebastian especially). these are just random fucking kids. who maybe just got unlucky and were randomly picked by krane to be part of his army, or maybe were chosen for some particular reason (which is honestly kind of worse bc if any of them realized there was actually a reason, that just makes it feel more like it was somehow their fault even though it wasn't). but in the end none of these kids are related to each other, at all. they consider themselves to kind of be one big group of siblings now, but that's only because they were all put through the same trauma. and also. if they were chosen by krane for a reason. then what the fuck happened with characters like spin? or bob? they're both so young. why would krane have picked them? it gets more disturbing the more you think about it. they also are all probably not going by the names their parents gave them either. because they all got renamed to designations (S1, S2) and then renamed again when krane stopped controlling them.

and finally on the note of them not being made to be bionic the way adam, bree, and chase were: that is its own angst potential. i think the showrunners kind of forgot that they established that about the chips, that adam bree and chase can't even switch chips for a day without messing things up because they aren't built to handle each others chips. if that's really the case, then some random teenagers probably also can't handle being implanted with bionic chips? they should all be experiencing a lot more difficulties due to that. it would be fun for the difference between all of them and abc to be highlighted in a way that is not just "abc are old models" anyway. because given the actual lore of the show, no, they're probably NOT old, they're the only ones whose chips WORK PROPERLY ALL THE TIME. krane got his technology from douglas. he doesn't know how to do bionics himself, and he would not be able to make it work correctly with kids he pulled off the streets once douglas left. there's just no way.

Bubble Waffle Maker

A small functional object that allows you to make 10 different types of bubble waffles.

It can be found under 'Small Appliances'. It has one menu and it's base game compatible.

All ingredients are optional, if you have them they decrease/remove the price.

I used the waffle maker introduced by EA, I just converted it to be able to use it in the base game but it keeps all 8 original colors.

I’m so obsessed with this podcast. Sobbing screaming frowing up, I love him Jonathan ‘Jon’ Sims AKA The Archivist SO. MUCH.

CLOSEUPS!!! AND HEADCANONS!!!

Maybe I’m being unrealistic & OOC but I think back when he was a normal (semi-)functioning person, he was sort of quiet and stylish in an effeminate Corp Goth way. Like dressing up his old punk style from his uni days.

He stops taking as much care of himself as the paranoia takes hold, & the self-consciousness of his scars reduces his confidence in his appearance. The stress starts to age him more & more. He doesn’t like jewelry that dangles after the worm incident, so he goes w/ simple, easy-to-wear jewelry.

(The green cat eye studs were a surprisingly considerate gift from Elias, to congratulate him on his promotion. They’re comfortable gold flat-backs, so he just puts them in one day when he’s in a rush to get out the door & never changes them out. It gives Elias a convenient means to spy on his little Archivist 👀)

Season 3 is self-explanatory. His upper cartilage earring and his nose ring get ripped out while he’s tussling with various avatars. He spends enough time being hunted like an animal that self-care frankly doesn’t occur to him. Scruffy scruffy wet cat of a man.

Season 4, well… no one bothered cutting his hair during the coma. Martin told him once while he was comatose that he likes it long, & even though Jon doesn’t remember, he refuses to cut it all the same. He would Know what Martin had said if it occurred to him, but it never does. He just never thinks about why he likes his hair long now even though he never did before.

He dresses more comfortably than stylishly now, in too much constant but minor sensory overload to bother with blazers or turtlenecks or slacks.

The hospital staff removed his piercings while he was comatose. Most healed over. Only his lobes stayed open enough to put jewelry in. Elias recovered the cat eye studs he gave Jon and re-gifted them back to him after he woke up from the coma. Jon feels like he should throw them away, but they’ve been with him through so much. So few of his possessions survived after he lost his place in S3 and then again in S4. He’s basically lost everything, and it’s not like the jewelry are symbolically evil just because Elias happened to give them to him. They’re just objects. He’s allowed to be emotionally attached to them. …Right?

Hehehe ANYWAY. I have plans to draw a full spooky portrait of Season 5 Jon. So much to draw, so little time!!

Posing Interaction for Babies (Newborns)

This mod adds an interaction to the bassinet to play poses with babies.

Based on my testing the interaction works wherever the sim is, even off lot. The baby spawns to your sim and afterwards back to the bassinet (little demo below).

As a placeholder I included a set of Gallery poses with babies. However, you can override them with your own. For that purpose, I’m including the pose files separately as well as the blend file I used that you can then use as a base (the blend file is saved in Blender 3.6). (You don't need to put the blend file into your mods folder.) Here is an alternative set of poses I made that you can use with the interaction.

XML Injector Required The XML injector is a tool/library that can be used to add interactions without the need to write your own script (another one that you might know is lot51’s core library). A script in my case would have been needed to add the posing interaction without overriding the existing game file with the baby tuning. The XML injector does that for me.

This was just an experiment tbh but I was surprised that it works so well and so I ended up wrapping it up. But anyhow, in game interactions are pretty new to me, so let me know if there's any issue.

Some background information:

The baby is an object in-game that is connected to the adult sim via the stigmata bone for poses/animations – similar to poses with accessories, if you’re familiar with that. The difference is that you also need to pose the baby itself. I have some additional notes in this tutorial for Gallery poses with babies that I made a while ago.

Note that you can’t export baby poses or animations via S4S the standard way since you can’t select the baby rig in the S4S export options. I did this with a workaround by exporting the clips from the Game File Cruiser, then importing them to Blender using an add-on (it’s actually a deactivated part of the Blender add-on that S4S uses and it’s only functional in Blender 2.7).

However, you can import the blend files with baby poses to the package file like you normally would since the rig selection is not relevant for the import.

Bubble Teas

Description:

Bubble Tea is an add on for the Hot Carob Drink Machine. Since the the end for the spring is here I wanted to create some cool and refreshing drink for our Sims to enjoy. And what better than preparing Bubble tea from the comfort of your home? Your Sim doesn't need to take this tiring road to the thrift shop anymore, just for a good ol' cup of nice bubble tea. To make it you need the Hot Carob Drink Machine. You need to place it on the lot (on a counter) and now after I updated it, you'll be able to see 2 new menus to make a single or multiple bubble teas. Each option will open a selection menu and you can choose from 10 different types.

It's base game compatible and it has the drinking animation for the EA bubble tea.

Cantina Collection

Straight from Oga's Cantina comes this cobbled together industrial set.

A bit later than planned but finally here. All items are very low poly as they are all frankenmeshed from the original bar back counters.

The textures are all composites and rearrangements of the originals, as a result they are not seamless - but we'll say it just adds to the look that they've just been made from whatever scrap metal was around!

Also as the cabinet doors all have the same rust pattern, it looks odd/repetitive on very big kitchens but works fine for small spaces.

There is only one swatch for all items except the seating, which comes in the same colours as the originals.

All items are base game compatible, except the resized bar backs which require Journey to Batuu.
