This is a overhaul of the Soap Making Station.

What is this? What this mod offers?

Rebranded hobby, offering two types of crafting tables, equipped with 10 level re-named skill and customized items, in 6 different categories, to produce.

You have 2 crafting stations, you need to install ONLY one version!

Carlo’s Cosmetix Crafting Station can be found under Outdoor Activities, and it cost 1750 simoleons. Includes 21 swatches (recolors are allowed, do NOT include the mesh!), and I tried my best to make them close to maxis. The products made on it and the ingredients can be found in debug mode. When you press on the station you’ll see all 6 options of craftables.

Tłumaczenie Cosmetics Crafting

Mod dodaje możlliwość wtwarzania kosmetyków: mydła, kuli do kąpieli, szamponów, itp.

Mod ma 2 wersje: jedna z nich (historical) zawiera stację do wytwarzania kosmetyków w starodawnym/średniowiecznym stylu. Do folderu z tłumaczeniem dodałam obie wersje, czyli Modern Cosmetics Crafting Station (wersja współczesna) oraz Cosmetics Craftic Station (wersja średniowieczna), ale w grze może być tylko JEDNA wersja stacji. Co do tłumaczenie wydaje mi się, że można mieć dwie wersje na raz, pojawi się tylko tłumaczenie wybranej stacji.

Tłumaczenie trzeba włożyć do folderu z modem. Bez moda tłumaczenie nie zadziała. Tłumaczenie pasuje do obydwu wersji moda (oprócz funkcji, którą opisałam wyżej).

Ye Olde Cosmetix Crafting Station can be found under Outdoor Activities, and it cost 2000 simoleons. Includes 12 swatches (recolors are allowed, do NOT include the mesh!), and I tried my best to make them close to maxis. The products made on it and the ingredients can be found in debug mode. When you press on the station you'll see 3 options of craftables as well option to light up the fireplace, once lithen up, you'll see the rest 3 categories of craftables.

Interactions on the table

Craft Soap, Bath Bombs, Bath Salts (these you are familiar with, since they are the same from the Soap Making Station), Shampoo, Lip Balm and Face Masks. Selecting the station will open the recipe picker menu, from there you can choose what type of item you would like to create.

Note: If you use the historical crafting station, you will need to light up the fire, before being able to see ther Soap, Shampoo and Lip Balm interactions, sinc ether require warmth to be produced.

Each crafting category has it's own WIP stages and animations!

However, since I'm using for a base the code from the woodworking table I wasn't able to add vfx of liquid when pouring, so for now it's empty, if I figure out how to do it, it will be updated.

At level 1 only a few bath bombs are available, you will unlock more recipes as your skill level increases. Level 3 of the skill unlocks bath salts menu, level 4 unlocks face masks,  soaps are unlocked at level 6 (at level 5 you can craft only plain soap), level 7 unlocks lip balms and shampoos are unlocked at level 9.

Skill Information

Re-branded skill - from Soap Making to Cosmatics Crafting, it includes 10 levels, and it is gained by reading skill books (can be bought from the bookshelf or computer) and crafting items on the Station.

At level 5 of the skill, a new interaction is unlocked on the products - Sell At Market Fair (selling price 1.7x retail price) and at level 10, another interaction is unlocked (that requires license) on the products - Sell to Soaps Company (Selling price 2.5x retail price).

Another specific includes custom skill icon, can be mentored and has custom thought bubbles.

If you have get together, crafting soaps is also a Club Activity option, and if you have Seasons, there are two holiday traditions.

Ingredients

The ingredients needed for crafting can be separated in two groups - harvestables (EA flowers, some of my custom harvestables), and cosmetics crafting essentials essentials (they can be purchased when pressed on the Soap Station, there will be option buy soap making supplies). All ingredients are optional, you can create products without them, it will just cost more.

Using the interaction will give 8 of any of the following ingredients - Epsom Salts, Dye, Essential Oils, Soap Base, White and Pink Damask Rose there is an equal chance of getting any one of the mentioned.

Interactions on the Craftables

All craftables can be listed on Plopsy, sold from the City Living Sales Table or sold directly from the inventory.

If you do not want to craft them, you can buy them from the Buy mode catalogue after turning on debug and then searching by the respective name Soap, Bath Bombs, Lip Balm etc.

Opening the bath salts jars will give you 4 small cups of salts in your Sims inventory.

All products can be placed in the world, you can use them as decoration in your bathroom and they can still be functional as well.

Once your craftable is ready, place it in the world and press on it, other interactions will show up.

Use - As the name suggest, this interaction will let you use the product. Bath Bombs and Salts can be used only with bathtubs and while bathing, Soaps and Shampoos can be used while taking shower/bath, Lip Balms and Face Masks can be used at any time. Once used the product will disappear.

Smell Scented Item - Sim will smell the craftable and will get special moodlets (available only for soaps, bath salts and bath bombs)

Admire Crafted Item - Sim will view the soap and will get moodlets (available only for soaps, bath salts and bath bombs)

Sell At Craft Fair - Sell the product at 1.7x retail price (available at level 5 of soap making)

Sell to Soaps Company - Sell the product at a higher price (2.5x retail price), however this interaction will be available after maxing out the skill (level 10), also requires license.

Face Masks and Lip Balms have custom animation when applied.

Thanks to Mirai the Face Masks when applied will show up on your Sim's face for 30 min. Also the masks are compatible with SoL and decrease the chance of acne!

Moodlets

There is 80+ craftables, so the moodlets are a lot! There are common and unique moodlets. The common moodlets are after finishing crafting, mentoring, selling and admiring. For crafting and admiring there are at least 5 different moodlets each, so it will be randomized.

Unique moodlets are brought from using and smelling the products. Literally every single craftable in the picker option has its own unique moodlet for smelling, and most craftables also for using! Bath bombs, and the new Shampoo, Face Mask and Lip Balm the moodlets are randomized after using.

All the rest have scent specific moodlets for both interactions!

Selling Price

The price is made so that the sim can profit no matter of the quality of the product, a higher price can be obtained by selling through the interaction 'Sell At Crafts Fair' (after level 5) or 'Sell to Soaps Company' (Unlocked after maxing out the skill).

Computer Interactions

You will find on the computer a new interaction:

'Research Requirements for Selling Handcrafted Soaps'

Once you reach level 10 at soap making, you will see another interaction as well:

'Apply For Cosmetic Production Safety License' - you need this license to be able to sell to Soaps Companies. This interaction cost 390$ and your Sim has 75% chance to get license from the first time. If they fail, they can apply again. Once licensed, they can sell their production to Soaps Companies.

Custom Preference

You can have a custom preference towards Cosmetics Crafting. It's included in the package.
