They really spent a lot of time pointing to the second coming for Apolaypse 2 electric boogaloo

all 3 minisodes are about ... humans dying and being brought back to life, or more like, how that is not possible...and how Heaven and Hell have worked around that

In A Companion to Owls, Job kids never died even when they should have, Heaven didn't know enough to distinguish that they were the same children and Sitis quickly got that the miracle was... that their children didn't die to begin with. Once they are dead it is game over and Crowley and Aziraphale refused to let them die

In The Resurrectionists (it is literally called The Resurrectionists!!) and it is how one girl is shot and they can't do anything once she is dead. And Crowley still goes off of his way to make sure the other one doesn't kill herself, risking everything. And we know hell's extreme sanctions are probably what makes him ask for insurance, for holy water. On the other hand, this episode is called The ResurrectionistS, plural, but we meet only one of them ..while in the other side of the sign is Christ himself.

THEN in 1941, we have ZOMBIES, the literal living dead walking around, and Furfur states that he can't make them living people again due to a clause and just leave them as zombies to roam the earth. We see how cursed they are, rotting and bound to eat brains but not human.

EVEN! From episode 1, we get a big Clue: miracles are measured in lazarii, and resurrecting someone is no easy feat. They were telling us to watch out about coming back to life... and how only the mightiest of archangels are able to use that amount of power (or an angel and a demon holding hands...)

It sounds like IWTV Season 3 may give us not one, but two, fucked up and abusive parents/parent figures. I hope they stay true to the books in that Lestat remains a pathetic mummy’s boy and that Armand and Marius have a tender reunion.

What I don’t want is for Gabrielle nor Marius to be made into better people than they are just because their children love them. Nor do I want their children’s love to be turned into something it wasn’t in the books: hatred or scorn. People love their abusers all the time, and these characters were no different. What I am interested is what Louis makes of Gabrielle (oh so Lestat’s just another man who married his mother?), what Daniel makes of Marius (disgust,rage), and what Armand makes of Marius and Lestat being close (burning jealously over both of them).

I don’t disagree but finding one another lovely / beautiful / attractive is the default with Rice’s vampires. I reckon Daniel is capable of feeling disgust and rage towards Marius, and finding him attractive, just like the audience might. And isn’t that some real horror?

This is a Daniel who has lived a full human life, who is a father, and who has possibly reported on various abuses in his career, if he didn’t see or experience them first hand during his addiction. He also brings a very modern sensibility to the story, so yeah, I’d be surprised if he isn’t caustic towards Marius, especially if Marius doesn’t block him telepathically.

headcanon that when willow and hunter start dating hunter doesn’t know. like willow asks him out and all he just doesn’t really understand what it means. they kiss and go on dates and hold hands and he tells her he loves her, all the while completely believing she could totally be doing all of this with the others. bro thinks it’s normal. bros just happy to have a very good friend he loves named willow park. augustus gus porter has to sit this poor boy down and explain it to him. he screams into his full body sized wolf pillow darius made him for about 5 minutes

my heart hurts so much for nick and tara and tori in this season of heartstopper because literally no one seems to notice that they’re not doing okay

there’s just the moment at the halloween party where nick just is not interested in anything (and I think tao’s the only one who noticed) and then tara’s panic attack on charlie’s birthday (which charlie and then darcy helped her through) but there’s never any follow-up, and the ferris wheel ride doesn’t actually address anything tori’s experiencing outside of michael. no one ever, ever reaches out to them afterwards, checks up on them, understands that there is something wrong.

and for tara and nick especially I feel like that support has to come from someone outside the group, from a trusted adult, ‘cause I honestly don’t think teenagers are equipped to help them without their own emotions getting in the way (unless they help each other but that defeats the purpose!)

and I hope so much that the next season addresses all of this (I haven’t read any of the books / original content so I’m really going in the dark here) but I am so, so scared that they just. won’t.

They’re not going to rebuild Castle Byers because Will can’t rebuild his childhood, which is the reason he destroyed Castle Byers in the first place. He’d been trying to hold on to a level of carefree ignorance that no longer existed for him. The problems Castle Byers saved him from have been replaced by new problems that are bigger and stronger than a child’s fort. He needs to face them differently. Thank you and goodnight
