Yes yes yes it's very romantic that Stolas was ready to sacrifice himself for Blitz but, what about his daughter??? No wonder in the trailer she says "you never loved mother, you don't love me, you love him", imagine seeing on tv your father saying he's ready to die and leave you (and the mother you don't yet know was trying to kill her husband) behind for an imp... After he assured you he would always be there for you? Oof.

I've seen a lot of people saying Jayce telling Viktor to accept his imperfections is ableist because it invalidates his disability, but like. I don't think that is what Jayce meant At All. When he's talking about "imperfections," he's not referring to Viktor's terminal illness. Remember: back in season 1 he wanted to pursue Hextech to help cure Viktor, and hell, in the very beginning of the season he saves him by giving him the Hexcore. No, when talking about Viktor's "imperfections" he means Viktor's emotional fragility, not physical. When you're disabled, it's very easy to overcompensate and work extra hard to "make up" for your disability, and I think Viktor does exactly this with his little cult or whatever. For Viktor, the "cure" might've initially been about his physical disability, but it goes so much further than that by season 2. He wants to become not only physically capable but emotionless. Because, to Viktor, his emotions are just an extension of his brokenness. But Jayce reminds him that no, he's not broken (in the sense that he's not worthless). When he says there's "beauty in imperfections," he's referring to being human. Viktor, in his quest for the "glorious evolution," has forgotten that. He's come to believe that imperfections (like himself and later humanity as a whole) are inherently ugly and only perfection is beautiful. In the finale, Jayce is telling him that no, he's wrong. Imperfection has beauty. Imperfection has value.

Imperfection, in all its forms, is loved.

This dialogue had me crying. Not just because what she’s saying, but the implications it gives. I remember when talking about Silco and Jinx, there was this question about Jinx’s mental health and how much Silco was involved in it. And this just shows. Yeah, Jinx probably hid it from him. She wanted to keep a brave face for him. And so she kept up that facade. And which her insecurities would always slip through, she never broke down in front of him. And given how he always gives Jinx space and lets her come to him first, he probably never saw it until the tea party scene. Not the hallucinations, not the episodes or mental breakdowns. Now there is a level where, he’d have to know to a degree. From Sevika and what Jinx tells him. But I wonder how much that is. He knows her trauma and pain with her sister. And that gets him riled up. But what about everything else? Either way, he’s never seen her full on cry outside those two times. And that makes me sad.

Because what if? What if he ignored Sevika’s advice and went to console Jinx? What if he saw her breaking down? What if he realized the extent of her mental health problems. Would things have ended differently?

He was so overcome with grief that he excused himself so the trauma box would not burst open

He went running to grab Auntie's spellbook and flipped to "reversing death" and "summoning sea witches"
