What in the FUCKKKKKKK!?!?!??!?! I am such a fucking slut for fuzzy thighs, you have no idea. I'm forever petting hubs like he's some kind of anti-anxiety stuffy and like... they are just a total fucking turn-on for me. Always have been. I like to snack on 'em in bed, ngl.
Dylan is flashing these at me without realizing he's sounding the dinner bell. JESUS FUCKING CHRIST.
I am glad we're all suffering together because I think I'm about ready to lose my fucking mind.

Welcome to the family, SEBASTIAN! Your application to DEVON CRAWFORD was accepted. We’re really happy to give you your second character! Make sure to read the beginners checklist, and remember, have fun! We can’t wait to roleplay with you! Have fun!
IN CHARACTER
CHARACTER NAME: Devon Lennox Crawford (Famous Broadway Actor) CHARACTER AGE & DATE OF BIRTH: 25 FACE CLAIM: Dylan O'Brien HOMETOWN & CITY WHERE LIVES NOW: Born in England, lives in NYC SEXUAL ORIENTATION & GENDER: pansexual demi-boy (he/him non-binary) RELATIONSHIP STATUS: In a relationship and also fucking around with Stevie Evans POSITIVE TRAITS: talented, generous, amenable NEGATIVE TRAITS: sheltered, secretive, impulsive CHARACTER QUOTE/LYRIC: I don't tell you what to say I don't tell you what to do So just let me be myself That's all I ask of you I'm young and I love to be young I'm free and I love to be free To live my life the way I want To say and do whatever I please ANYTHING ELSE?: Because he is born into fame, anyone that's famous probably has a connection to him and everyone should know of him. He's been in the news since he was just a little bean on a sonogram monitor. People on Broadway currently will definitely have room for connections to him, because he's such a big name out there.
HEADCANONS
Growing up famous, he was always in the public eye. There are pictures of his sonograms on the internet. It feels normal, but he does feel like a monkey on a stage sometimes. He's had a couple scandals already, nothing problematic just dangerous. He's actually known for being incredibly kind and generous, giving to other people whenever he has an opportunity. It's been speculated in the tabloids that he has a drinking problem, despite being on Broadway (and having explicit rules that he has to follow on and off stage to represent his craft). His parents are great and loving, but he does feel pressured to live up to their legacy and he feels kin to things that child stars like the Olsen twins have said in interviews about their childhoods. He's got a bunch of VHS movies that he starred in as a child as well, it was in his late teens that he moved onto stage work instead of film and has been in starring roles on Broadway ever since.
It's that pressure that makes him want to drink, he's got more anxiety than he leads on. He's sure that nobody would understand how someone that lives in the spotlight and has everything he could ever want could feel the way that he does sometimes.
He travels between the US and UK all of the time, it's not unusual for him to get on a plane 6-12 times in a year, depending on how much work he's taking on.
Personality wise, he's a jokester. He's easy to get along with and easy to like.
CONNECTIONS
PARENTS: His mother is born in the states and his father was born in England, both coming from wealthy families and proving themselves by gaining accolades quickly. They met while performing together in the New York Symphony and their whirlwind romance was something that was gossiped about in the US And UK, because of their social status and status as celebrities. BROTHER: Adam Crawford is his older brother, their parents are why he was asked to coach and captain the Adam's Apples at NYADA. BOYFRIEND/GIRLFRIEND: He does have a significant other, s/he's someone that he was arranged to meet and was expected to at least try to date. I'm going to be really vague here because I'd like whoever was interested in this role to come to me to plot for it and I want to leave room for creative freedom. However, I do really want you to come plot with me before applying for this. CLOSE FRIEND: Someone he can sit down and gossip with and talk to honestly, even if he has to reveal some parts of himself that don't make him look good in the process. This is someone he could be talking to about cheating on his significant other with and not be judged harshly. This could be another actor and/or someone he's known since childhood. They trust each other because neither of them can trust anyone else, lest their deepest and darkest secrets end up in the tabloids. THE CO-STAR: Stevie Evans has been on the same cast on Broadway for quite some time. They just keep working together, and at this point there's something that keeps him coming back to the other man off stage too and he is most definitely cheating on his official partner with Stevie.

"John Boyega didn’t say anything that Daisey Ridley or Adam Driver didn’t say about Reylo...which mirrors when Tyler Hoechlin and Dylan O'Brien said negative things about Sterek" You know the difference? Daisy's and Adam's characters are part of the ship. Dylan 's and Hoechlin's characters are part of the ship. They have right to criticize their own ships. But John and Tyler Posey had nothing to do with Reylo and Sterek. Nothing. So their opinion of THE OTHER ACTORS' ships don't matter.
I would live to love in whatever little fantasy world you seem to live in where it's that simple.
For years, we watched as fans harassed Tyler Posey (and the entire cast) about Sterek. Interviews and cons and tweets: "What about Sterek? Is Sterek gonna be canon? How does Scott feel about Sterek? Is Scott jealous of Stiles and Derek?" Over and over and over again until Posey said the very simple "if you're watching for that (Sterek), you're watching for the wrong reasons." He didn't say anything disparaging about the crack ship (because that's what it was). He didn't slander either Hoechlin or O'Brien (or their characters) he just said something that indicated he was both tired of be asked that question (something that didn't involve his character at all) and an indication that it wasn't going to happen on the show.
And for that, we also watched as he was sent death threats and horrible remarks about his mother as she battle cancer and died, all because he didn't cow tail to a bunch of rabid shippers who had nothing better to do than harass an actor over a crack ship.
Same thing with John.
For years, ever since he showed up in the trailer for THE FORCE AWAKENS - not even the movie itself, but the trailer! - he's enduring all sorts of racist bullshit from people using the pathetic excuse you just gave as a reason for harassing him. It only got worse after the movie, as you all flocked to Kylo, a literal space nazi, going out of your way to erase Finn from his staring role in the story and giving his qualities to Kylo to make him more likeable. This went so hard that Disney and Johnson and Abrams actually went out of their way to reduce him to a secondary character when he was introduced as the male lead.
And for the record, here's the tweet that started all of this
Tumblr media
He didn't call them anything, he didn't insinuate anything, he posted four pictures of things that actually happened between these two characters of Rey and Kylo (more so than their "soft" moments) and said this is what Disney considers a romance.
The fact that these two actors said the smallest of things and y'all have used that as an excuse to harass them with death threats and racial slurs and wishes that their careers end horribly says so much about all of you and I can honestly say that I'm perfectly okay with you staying in that little world and away from the rest of us.

“Da bambino seguivo tantissimo un attore americano, Dylan O’Brien della serie Teen Wolf, e sognavo che la gente mi amasse come io amavo lui. Pensavo che fosse una cosa spettacolare.“

“As a child I followed an American actor a lot, Dylan O'Brien from the Teen Wolf series, and I dreamed that people loved me as I loved him. I thought it was spectacular.“

TEEN WOLF
I started Teen Wolf without any knowledge in 2015. I had no idea who Dylan O'Brien is or why his character is so celebrated. At first I actually liked Scott better. The teen characters in teen wolf became by far my favorite of all series. Everyone got character development and had heart. I could imagine being close friends with everyone. Also the world in which it takes place. Completely without sexism, homophobia and racism. Everyone is equally important, differences are not even discussed. Scott and Stiles friendship is the best for me there is in fiction, completely without toxic masculinity, very attentive and so close. The same goes for the father-son bond between Stiles and his dad. In general, the parents were just as great as the kids in the series. The series is cheesy, yes, starts rather slowly and with bad effects. Nevertheless, there was already interesting lore and a lot of jokes. But season 3b then catapulted the whole thing into my favorites. Starting with the extremely exciting, confusing plot to Dylan's outstanding acting. From then on, my crush on Stiles turned into love. Because you saw behind the whole sarcastic manner he had. I've been talking about Stiles for a long time for the last 5 years, so I'll make it short here. I've already had so many series crushes that have been replaced by new ones, there are many that I consider boyfriend material. But Stiles stayed. My love for him never faltered, he was always superior, he is husband material. After all, Teen Wolf was the reason why I started to write fan fiction myself, because there weren't any who spoke to me about it. The series showed me what I really want and need. What kind of environment, friends and partner. There are of course some things that I didn't like that I corrected through fan fiction. Isaac and Erica's departure, for example, who would have had so much potential, especially as a couple. Just like Stydia. In my opinion the two don't go together and Lydia was never interested in Stiles. Stiles was actually over her and apart from their kiss I found the end of 6a perfect. Scott and Stiles hand over their legacy and drive away together. Full circle, but with important character developments. I especially like the cast who are still friends, who are very similar to their characters in real life, joking together. They just create an extremely warm, funny and cozy atmosphere. To rewatch the series or watch cast interviews always feels like coming home.

Comic Con Interview
Teen Wolf cast X reader
BIO: The Teen Wolf cast meet up at comic con to talk with there fans about the show and other things, sometimes personal things or just complete and otherly fun on set.
A/n: I got this idea from another fanfiction writer forgot her username so yeah. Sorry about this story, its hot garbage.
Characters: Dylan O’Brien, Tyler Posey, Tyler Hoechlin, Cody Christian, Ian Bohen, Jr Bourne, Melissa Ponzio, Holland Roden, Cyrstal Reed, Jeff Davis, Y/n L/n etc...
Tumblr media
The "Teen Wolf" cast just finish filming for season 5 and was now moving on to season 6 of "Teen Wolf", They were asked to do a meet up at Comicon to discuss the last season that was aired on television and to give somewhat a plot of what's going to happen the next scene but not a lot to spoil it for everybody.
They meet up at the building and hung out with each other until it was time for them to go on stage and talk, Y/n can hear all the chatter from the audience that is waiting for the announcer to call them out as he spoke.
She was very nervous but not so nervous to the point where she would pass out, just nervous enough. The announcer began to call out names of the cast members of the show and the director, He said Jeff Davis name first then Tyler Hoechlin, Ian Bohen, Tyler Posey, Dylan O'Brien, Cody Christian, Holland Roden everyone until he gets to Y/n…
She walks out and waves while smiling at the audience that is clapping for her along with the cast members, she takes her seat between Cody and Dylan Sprayberry.  As the panel went one the fans began to ask their questions that they had for them.
"This question is for Jeff," One of the fangirls who was given a mic said. "When are Stiles and Lydia going to become a couple?" the crowd cheers at the question that all of them wanted to ask…
"Umm, I don't know… When are they going to get together?" He said with a smile as he looked at Dylan and Holland who smiled at the teens.
As the questions went on Y/n knew most of the questions weren't going to be for her as she feels that her character is trash and all she does is get in the way in some of the missions they have or involves herself in the other cast members relationships.
So, she pulled out her iPad and proceeded to play Roblox while listening to music, she was jamming to the beat and didn't hear that someone had a question for her so Cody and Dylan S. Had to tap on her shoulder to get her attention.
"What y 'all want? y 'all messing up my game, I'm trying to have my girl look like Nicki Minaj…" She says to Cody and Dylan S getting laughs from her cast members and the crowd.
"She has a question for you," Cody says while pointing to a girl standing up smiling at y/n…
"Oh, what is it?" Y/n says now giving the girl her attention.
"Y/n, is you're character ever going to show her eyes?" she asked at this moment the whole crowd goes crazy at the thought of seeing Y/n eyes… The thing is for while Y/n never showed her eyes, it was because of her being bullied in middle school she thought that if she never showed them again she wouldn't be bullied anymore.
And It worked, Y/n never intended for the character she plays to not show her eyes it was just a natural thing for her. At least now people can say that’s the one thing her and her character got in common. Y/n sits up straight and grabs the mic… she takes in a deep breath and says.
"Never!!!!" in her singing voice making the crowd laugh until someone else takes the mic, "Awe come on Y/n!"
"Nah fam!" Y/n says with a smile. Then someone else takes the mic. "y/n, what are two things that you're character values most in life."
The crowd went silent waiting for her answer as she thought about it, "Food and more Food" She told them, that answer is actually a good answer because her character eats a lot of food.
"Y/n, what are something things that you're character does in the show that you do in reality?" the crowd claps at the question while the cast looks at y/n with smiles on their faces.
"Well, we eat a lot of food. We funny sometimes, curse a lot, we both don't show eyes… we play childish games and we eat more food." she explained truthfully.
"She's not lying about that…" Tyler P. says over the mic,
"Yeah, like this one time where we're all hangout outsider Posey's trailer when all of a sudden Y/n walks past us with this big tray of food in her hand…" Dylan O'Brien says with a smile.
"Out of nowhere, Cody was like "HEY!" Scaring the hell out of her." Posey says. "Then she turns around and says this most cutes and soft "what?" I have ever heard in my life." he finished with a smile. Cody explains…
"I Had to protect my food." She said while crossing her arms over her chest. "Well, I didn't work didn't it?" Ian asked her.
"No, No it did not… they were like a pack of wolfs bro, and when I got back to my trailer I was pissed… but I felt something sticky on my chest so pulled my shirt down to look at it, and guess what?" she told them.
"What?" almost everybody had asked wanting to know more about the story.
"I was just standing there with barbeque sauce on my boobies, I forgot I had ribs that morning," she said with a laugh making every almost fall out their chairs in laughter.
The questions were drifting back over to the rest of the cast members and off Y/n so she continued to play her game until another question was directed her way, It was almost time to end the panel when the very last question was for me.
"Y/n this question is for you, do you see you're character having a boyfriend or girlfriend anytime soon?" The crowd owed at her question and at this point, y/n was stomped."
"Ugh," she said as she was trying to search her brain for the right answer… "Umm, Jeff a little- a little help her." She asked him.
"Nah, Y/n this all you answer it." He told her.
She clears her throat and exhales a deep breath " Everybody's taken!" she shouts out quickly while standing up and grabbing her stuff while running off the stage so nobody else could as her any more questions.
But then stopped when she realized she had left her food bag behind, she ran back up and grabbed it and ran back of… the crowd laughing at her as she done it.
Y/n was sitting down on the benches outside of the building waiting for the rest of the cast to come out so they could leave. As they were walking out laughing and talking they spotted Y/n sitting by herself so they called over to them.
"Wow, y/n you don't want a relationship with none of us." Tyler H. asked as he wrapped his arm around her shoulder.
"Yeah, Nah I don't… I had to get out of there quickly before Jeff got an idea." She told him.
~one month later~
"Here's the new scripts for the new season," Jeff said as he handed out the scripts' when he hand Y/n hers y/n quickly skimmed through it until she landed on her scene, she looked at it with scrunched up eyebrows… "That’s weird."
"What is?" Holland asked her…
"It's not so often a get a whole episode to myself, why would I get an episode by myself?" She said while looking at Holland. Just then someone walks into the room "Hey, Y/n did you read the new Script?" He asked her.
"I'm looking at it now. Why?"
"I'm your love interest." He said with a smirk on his face,
"That's it Jeff has done it, I'm Going TO Kill Him!" she says as she runs out the room in the search of Jeff.

Be You
Hobrien (Tyler/Dylan) || ~2.5k || G || AO3
Amidst the buzz of their upcoming collaboration on a movie produced by their former co-star Colton Haynes, we sat down with Tyler Hoechlin and Dylan O'Brien to discuss the project that brought them together for the first time since their days on Teen Wolf.
“I’m not quite sure how I got here. Some of the previous years are a blur, because I ran full speed - pun intended - thinking that I had to do everything at the same time." - Dylan O'Brien
"I like to think I’m grown up, but I’d hate to become too serious. There’s always a part of me that never will want to be mature. So far, it’s worked." - Tyler Hoechlin
April 2024 issue, InMovies magazine
They’re no longer known primarily by the show that was responsible for at least one of their career launches. It has been years since they portrayed the funny sidekick and the grouchy werewolf, but it’s no longer the thing that gets attached to their names.
For one of them, the show started the rise up the ranks of the movie industry ladder. Dylan O’Brien, 32, the star of several blockbusters and franchises over the years, is a star in his own right now, his name enough to finance movies and drive audiences to the cinemas across the world. He moves seamlessly between indie movies and ensemble blockbusters, his work recognized not only by the audiences but also by his peers frequently. He has several nominations under his belt already, and another one looming in the near future, if reviews for his latest release are to be believed.
For the other, the show remains one of the projects most recognized to this day in popular media, but not the only one he’s earned himself praise for, especially in critics’ reviews. Tyler Hoechlin, 36, has recently made the move from the spotlight to behind the camera and into the director’s seat, after years of co-producer credits on projects he helped get off the ground.
Under the wing of Be yoU Productions and Agency — a company co-launched only a few years earlier, in 2020, by their former co-star Colton Haynes, 35 — Tyler is set to produce the first movie he’ll be directing himself. The movie itself is already creating a buzz due to his and BU’s involvement, and the importance it’s likely to carry in the ongoing dismantling of barriers in the industry — something that Colton is not afraid to voice openly, his own struggles with Hollywood’s restrictions known and on record.
Working with one former co-star from the Teen Wolf days brought attention not only back to their days on the show, but also to the upcoming project. The interest was stirred up even more when Tyler was spotted at BU’s offices with none other than Dylan O’Brien, sparking several rumours. Some were related to the movie itself, bringing up the possibility of Dylan’s involvement in it, others steered in a more personal direction. The former co-stars had not been seen together often since Teen Wolf’s finale, and the sighting caught the interest of their fans almost immediately.
The news of Dylan’s casting in Tyler’s movie was not a surprise to anyone after that. With the connection revealed, they were spotted together more and more.
I caught up with both of them at the BU Productions offices, as the pre-production of the movie is starting to ramp up, and their names get mentioned side by side more often.
Tyler, sitting at his desk with the script in front of him and a red marker in hand, doesn’t miss a beat when asked about his transition from acting to directing.
“Acting was never my primary aim, it came from not being able to continue with baseball. I love it, I love slipping into a different persona and being someone else while on camera, but it’s not me and that’s what made acting always just a temporary thing. I knew I’d end up elsewhere at some point, and this movie allows me that. It’s new and refreshing now, but it feels like what I wanted to do.”
He doesn’t move away from talking about his career, with the exception of recounting the injury that ended his sports goals. Without prompting, he mentions the projects he was a part of in the past, movies that sparked his interest in the work behind the scenes. He’s unapologetic about his choices, pointing out that “there were decisions I made because they were a stepping stone only, not because I wanted to make them. There are some regrets, looking back now, but they all got me here and I can’t complain about that.”
We move outside with the photographer, and Tyler laughs as he points out that he can still follow directions as he poses for the camera. In the bright sunshine of the autumn afternoon, between shots he talks about growing up here in California, being surrounded by acting since he was little.
“I was lucky to have a family to keep my feet on the ground. It’s so easy to get swept up by the spotlights, by the glitter. I like to think I’m grown up, but I’d hate to become too serious. There’s always a part of me that never will want to be mature. So far, it’s worked.”
He doesn’t dwell long on the past, though he does talk about the choices he made throughout his career.
“There was a time when I thought I had to chase the big movies, the red carpets and the shine of it all. It wasn’t really my own wish, but I believed it was what I was supposed to do. In a way, when I fell off the radar somewhat after Teen Wolf, it was a wake up call. I was happier doing the smaller projects, the ones that were maybe overlooked by distributors, but ones I could do without feeling like I’m selling out.”
After a while, he excuses himself to take a call, and he points me to the small studio space at the back of the building, where another photoshoot is in progress.
The studio has posters of Dylan’s upcoming movie, the one that’s being whispered about with the word “Oscar” as the first reviews are rolling in. He’s in a suit, which rarely happens outside red carpets and photo shoots - he tells me almost immediately that the casual clothes in the latter are usually at his own request. Like Tyler, he talks to me about his career so far between different set ups for the shoot.
“I’m not quite sure how I got here. Some of the previous years are a blur, because I ran full speed - pun intended - thinking that I had to do everything at the same time. The post-accident time was, despite the surgery and pain, good for me. I slowed down some, it helped me sort out my priorities then, and I’ve been more picky about my projects since. I don’t have to do it all, as long as what I do is what I can look back on with pride.”
He talks about balancing the big movies with the small, the lead roles with the smaller ones, the one-man-shows with the ensemble projects. “It’s good to have both. It’s always great to have a team effort, and being the lead on too many things can be... isolating. You’re right there in the forefront of promotion, and you might have back-up, but it’s not the same as when you have a group of people on the same level. I’ve talked about anxiety before, about how crippling it can be, and it’s one of the reasons why I choose projects that don’t put me under a level of pressure that could very easily become too much.”
I ask about the project for BU, and the importance it’s being given because of the multitude of factors. Dylan shrugs, and smiles softly.
“Some of them are worth it, despite the possible pressure,” he says.
When the photos are all done, I follow Dylan back to the offices at the front, and find Tyler in one of the conference rooms, back to poring over the script, the red marker in his hand. He only looks up when Dylan stops by his side and pulls it out of his hand, strikes out a note on the margin and scribbles his own, then hands the marker back to Tyler, who smiles and nods in agreement.
It feels for a moment like I’m invading on a private moment — they immediately fall into a discussion of the phone call Tyler took earlier, and what it means for the production timeline, speaking in a way that makes it unclear if they’re aware of another person in the room.
They don’t seem surprised when I point out how seamlessly they work together, like they’ve been doing this without the apparent gap between the Teen Wolf years and now.
“We have, in a way. It was Dylan who pitched me the idea originally, a script he came across in his former agent’s office that was tossed aside because it had no one behind it yet, no director, no production. It was from the screenwriter directly, and shouldn’t have been there at all. I call it serendipity, Dylan calls it a good plan on the screenwriter’s part.” They both laugh, like it’s an inside joke, and Dylan mumbles something about Irish luck that Tyler rolls his eyes at fondly.
“We always worked well together, when we did. It’s a pity it took this long to be back on a project together again, but he -” Dylan points at Tyler “-is not even in front of the camera with me. I don’t know how he expects to make this movie aesthetically pleasing without his face on the screen.”
Tyler doesn’t miss a beat and replies immediately. “That’s what you’re there for, to stand around and look pretty.”
There’s an ease between them, even with someone else in the room, like it’s really only a personal conversation between them. They talk about the movie, about how the casting went.
“I know directors usually don’t have all the decision power about it, but I knew I wanted Dylan in the role, and that set up everything else,” Tyler explains.
“He was stubborn. He’s lucky it’s BU Prod that holds the wallet, or he’d never get it off the ground. Colton’s a good friend.”
“Colton was the one who backed me, he knew as well as I did that you were the right choice.”
It takes until the very end of the interview to get to the rumors flying around about them, and it’s Dylan who brings it up. Tyler sits back and watches as Dylan talks, eyes on him like he’s looking for signs of anxiety, but Dylan is completely zen.
“I’ve been such chickenshit about things in the past. Gone along with what my agency told me was the best, let people draw their own conclusions. I’ve made good movie choices, ultimately, career decisions that got me to where I am now, so I can’t say I have regrets about that. But I didn’t make friends where I could have made them. Not that making friends is what this whole business is about. But I know I let my anxiety and my career keep me away from things and people that would’ve been good for me then.”
It’s then that Tyler reaches over to take Dylan’s hand and give it a squeeze, a gesture that looks too comfortable for two people who are only co-workers and friends. Just like several of the sightings of them prior to this day were more intimate than what director/actor meetings would’ve looked like.
“I hate the fact that even now, even when it’s not all that big a deal anymore or glorified in the media, there’s still the pressure to come clean. My life… our life is our life, and it’s no one’s business really. Even when our working relationship is business, what happens at the end of the day shouldn’t matter to anyone but us. But I’m tired of the accusations of setting things back, of lurking just on the edge of a closet. I think what I was always most afraid of, with my relationships if I was too public about them was that we’d lose our separate identities. That we would become ‘half of a couple’ instead of just people who happen to be dating. But I know now, seeing friends in solid relationships out in the open and still also having their own spaces, that it doesn’t matter if some people in the world see couples that way. What matters is that we know who we are separately and together.”
“As long as on set you remember that I’m the boss,” Tyler interrupts and all of them laugh, breaking the tension of Dylan’s words.
“Like hell you are. Don’t forget whose face will be selling the movie.”
And just like that the seriousness of the moment is over, and they’re back to the easy back-and-forth that only ever comes from a solid connection. They both mention their roles in the upcoming project again, talk about the anticipation of working together in a set-up that they haven’t done before. But their hands stay linked, and there’s one more photo, slightly reminiscent - if a lot toned down - of the Teen Wolf promo days: Tyler’s moved from behind his desk to the small couch on the side of the office, and Dylan’s perched on the armrest, his feet up on the cushions. They’re holding hands, looking almost like they’re not even aware of it, but Dylan’s looking at Tyler with a fond expression as he listens to him talking about his vision for the movie.
It’s all the way at the end, when I’m wrapping up and the photographer has left, that they finally get to that one topic.
“We don’t want just us to be the headline when the time comes. The movie is important in so many different ways, and it matters an awful lot to both of us, to our friends, and hopefully to the people who will be in the audience,” Tyler says.
Dylan picks up from that easily, as he has done through the interview.
“It was sort of inevitable that it came to this, I told Tyler when he first approached me about working on the movie. I mean, we were lucky in a way to be able to keep most of our private lives away from the media.”
“Lucky, and it took a lot of work on drawing lines when it came to sharing,” Tyler adds.
“But really, we can’t avoid it now, and I wouldn’t want to, when we’re going to be spending time together on set. I hope it the ‘we’ of it all doesn’t take attention away from the project, but in the end, it’s not in our hands.”
They explain then why they agreed to do this interview the way it went — as a partially joint one. When the movie’s production picks up, we’ll return to the parts not mentioned here, the ones they want to get their own focus. But they both understand — though they don’t like to give it that much attention — that there is interest in them, in how they came to work together and be together.
“I just hope we won’t need a break from being together at work and at home,” Tyler finishes, laughing when Dylan’s expression turns sour for a beat, then softens again.
And that’s the line that doesn’t leave anything up to interpretation.
