I'm passing away from my cramps right now so let me just make it known that Stiles would be the best cuddler when his girlfriend is on her period.

We all know that he gives great hugs and loves to snuggle, but his attention to detail really shines when his girl is in pain. He knows exactly what to do to help depending on what kind of pain she's in.

If her cramps are in front, right by her belly button, he'll lay behind her curled-up form, gently placing his hand on the affected area, which acts as a biological heating pad of sorts.

In the opposite scenario, where her cramps creep to her lower back (literally me right now), he'll let her bury her face into his chest while his arms wrap around her to allow his fingers to carefully massage those tender muscles.

He will happily stay there for as long as she wants and needs, or move so she can switch to a different position. He doesn't mind, only wanting her to be as comfortable as humanly possible, despite all the"disrespect", as Stiles would say, her body is giving her.

Anyway, the moral of the story is that the boy knows how to take care of his girl, and boy oh boy do I wish that I was that girl right now.

The Playdate:

Dylan can't help but join in the fun.

The O'Brien household was buzzing with excitement as eight-year-old Leo prepared for a playdate with his best friend, Dave. The boys had plans for a grand adventure in their backyard—an expedition to the “jungle” (a.k.a. the tall grass around the swing set) to find hidden treasure.

Leo's dad, Dylan, a big-hearted man with an infectious laugh, was busy in the kitchen making sandwiches. He could hear the enthusiastic giggles of the boys outside and felt a swell of pride. He loved being a dad, and he had a knack for making even the simplest moments special.

As the boys bounced in and out of the house, Leo ran to his dad, who was just finishing up with the sandwiches. “Dad, can you come out and help us find the treasure?” he asked, eyes wide with excitement.

“Of course, buddy! Just let me finish these sandwiches,” Dylan replied, grinning as he set the last one down on the counter. He then asked, “Do you want me to dress up like a ship captain? You know, for authenticity?”

Leo's eyes sparkled, both excited and slightly embarrassed at the thought. “No, Dad! Just… just come out, okay?”

When Dylan finally emerged into the backyard, a big smile plastered on his face, he spotted the boys with their makeshift pirate hats made from newspaper. “Ahoy, mateys!” he boomed, striking a ridiculous pose, one hand on his hip and the other shielding his eyes from the sun. “I’ve come to join ye on your quest!”

Leo couldn't help but crack a smile, despite the slight embarrassment creeping in. Leo laughed, and together they called for Captain Dylan to follow them to the first treasure spot.

As they ventured into the “jungle,” Dylan decided to take things up a notch. He began to chant a pirate song—something he’d made up on the spot—all about the bravery of young explorers and the riches they would find. The boys giggled and played along, swaying their hips as they acted out the parts of valiant pirates.

However, while Dylan was caught up in the moment, he turned and put one arm around Leo, who was nearly bursting with excitement. “And my brave little pirate, Leo, shall lead us to glory!” he declared, lifting Leo onto his shoulders in a gleeful display of affection.

Leo's smile faltered as he felt the eyes of Dave on him. He squirmed a bit, but Dylan was oblivious to the shift in the atmosphere. “Look at my boy!” Dylan continued, holding Leo high like he was a champion. “He’s the best treasure hunter in the land!”

Leo was now a bright shade of red. While he loved his dad and appreciated the fun, he was also acutely aware that his friends were watching the whole scene unfold. The last thing he wanted was for Dave to see him as a “baby,” being paraded around like a precious little treasure itself.

“Dad! Can you put me down, please?” Leo squeaked, trying to keep his tone light as he wiggled on his dad’s shoulders. “I can walk!”

Dylan finally noticed the slight strain in his son’s voice. “Oh! Sorry, buddy!” he chuckled and gently set Leo down. “What’s wrong? I thought we were being awesome pirates together!”

Leo looked at Dave, who was trying to stifle his laughter. “It’s just… you know…” he stumbled over his words, “I mean, it’s kinda… embarrassing.”

Dylan's expression softened as he realized that his affectionate gestures weren’t quite hitting the mark with his son in front of his friend. “Oh, I get it,” he said, a bit sheepishly. “I didn’t mean to embarrass you, Leo. I just thought…” He paused, searching for the right words. “I thought it would be fun to show how proud I am of you. But I’ll tone it down a bit.”

Leo sighed, a bit relieved and a bit exasperated. “It’s okay, Dad. Just maybe not so much… you know… next time?”

With a nod, Dylan shot him a grin. “I promise! So, how about we find that treasure? Lead the way, Captain Leo!”

In that moment, the initial embarrassment faded, and Leo couldn’t stay mad at his dad. He knew his dad loved him and just wanted to share in his joy. Taking a deep breath, he took the reins back as captain, eyes sparkling with mischief again. “Alright! But I’m not saying the pirate song, okay?”

“Only if I can be the lookout, or I might just have to break out into song!” Dylan laughed, and they set off on their adventure once more.

As the day wore on, the sun dipped lower in the sky, and the boys' laughter filled the air once again. Dylan had learned something important: while affection might sometimes take a funny turn, it was all part of the messy, beautiful journey of parenting. And with that understanding, he found comfort knowing that his bond with Leo was stronger than any accidental embarrassment.
