Danny, after running away moving to Gotham a few months ago begins making little commentary videos on a social media app.

It was fine and all with mostly friends viewing them up until his meta gene activated. He didn't even know he had a meta gene and kinda figured any of the ghost stuff he did as Phantom would have activated it if he did have one. Nope!

His newest video started out with him wearing a red beanie, "Hey guys! You know how I just moved to Gotham a few months ago? Well, turns out I have the meta gene!" He takes a moment to let that sink in before continuing, "Most people get there abilities or whatever through a lab accident or an explosion or something and end up with like telekinesis."

"I, however, am hated by the universe and got scratched by a cat," he then yanked off the beanie to reveal two large cat ears, "and turned into furry bait. On that note if you have any tips on how to avoid Catwoman please leave them in the comments section. For my sake."

In the meantime Danny has to deal with his channels popularity skyrocketing. "This is not what I want to be remembered for."

Bonus points if Danny gets one of those FMK questions that are all bats and he responds with, "Kill? A bat? Listen, if I get put into a death match with a bat the only one dying here will be me. I cant even do a backflip, what makes you think I could even touch one of them???"

Then one day there is talk around town from a gossip mail person that they saw a wedding invitation to Bruce Wayne and Salen Kyle's wedding.

The adult Masons are like oh it's nice to be invited to the event of the year. They make it clear to their daughter she cannot take her friends.

Only the invite goes to the Fenton's and Danny takes tucker to the wedding as Sam made it clear she doesn't like things like that.

Oh what I meant by that was I am totally puzzled by folks who see Dom Bruce/Sub Selina as some sort of very obvious Default. Personally, that's not the vibe I ever really get!

🦇🐈‍⬛ Her real name is actually Eden Aspen. She doesn't like people to know her real name... feels too personal in a way... So they just go with whatever nickname people give them! 🦇🐈‍⬛

🦇🐈‍⬛ She was drawn to Gravity Falls a few years ago, since she has always been really interested in the unknown, cryptids, anomalies, you name it! 🦇🐈‍⬛

🦇🐈‍⬛ One day, while she was out exploring the forests of Gravity Falls, she got kinda lost... and night fell. She was bitten by a werecat AND one of those vampire/fruit bats... IN THE SAME NIGHT. 🦇🐈‍⬛

🦇🐈‍⬛ They started working at the Mystery Shack a little bit before Dipper and Mabel visited for the summer. 🦇🐈‍⬛

🦇🐈‍⬛ Is friends with both Soos and Wendy! Even Stan has a soft spot for them! 🦇🐈‍⬛

🦇🐈‍⬛ To hide her bat wings, cat ears and tail, she wears hats, hoodies etc. And hides the tail in her pants! The wings, though... You know the episode "The Love God"? How he hides his little cherub wings in his backpack? That's what she does! Just cut little holes in a backpack and puts her wings through it to look like a bat wing backpack! XD 🦇🐈‍⬛

🦇🐈‍⬛ The only time she can really be herself is when halloween and summerween come around... She just tells everyone that her ears, wings and tail are a costume! 🦇🐈‍⬛

🦇🐈‍⬛ In fact, Stan started calling her all of those little bat nicknames because of her little bat wing "backpack".... But honestly? He KNOWS she's some sort of anomaly. He isn't stupid! XD 🦇🐈‍⬛

🦇🐈‍⬛ He just doesn't see her as dangerous/a threat, so he lets her work at the shack! (Plus he needs the extra help... it's so hard to find folks who actually WANT to work there!) 🦇🐈‍⬛

🦇🐈‍⬛ The twins eventually find out her little secret as well! But instead of fear, they just think she's so cool! Mabel loves her "kitty" ears, and Dipper asks a billion questions about her condition... XD 🦇🐈‍⬛

🦇🐈‍⬛ They actually have a symbol on the Cipher Wheel: a pair of bat wings! Because of this, Bill refers to them as Wings a lot. 🦇🐈‍⬛

🦇🐈‍⬛ Speaking of Bill... She accidentally summoned him the same way Ford did years ago: by reading that incantation in the cave! However, she didn't make any deals with him. (She actually just thinks he's something her brain dreamt up - that he isn't a real creature!) She kind of becomes friends with him since he keeps visiting her dreams... (he was trying to get her to make a deal, but she didn't know that XD) He's been visiting her regularly for several years, and she just thinks he's her imaginary dream friend! X'D 🦇🐈‍⬛

🦇🐈‍⬛ However, once Ford shows his picture to the kids, she is SHOOK. She tries not to let Ford know that SHE knows him though... it's kinda complicated - Like a mixture of embarrassment and being afraid he'll think she's working with bill... 🦇🐈‍⬛

🦇🐈‍⬛ That night when Bill inevitably visits her dreams, she tries to distance herself from him... Which he doesn't seem to like very much! :o ( tbh I think Bill actually started getting attached to this weird little human XD Platonic, romantic, idk but he's definitely attached :o ) 🦇🐈‍⬛

🦇🐈‍⬛ After she kinda broke off the friendship/relationship thing with Bill, the events of several episodes and eventually weirdmageddon happened! ( I don't have concrete details yet on some of these things though. Maybe later! ) 🦇🐈‍⬛

Batman is so hard to draw but I needed to talk about them so so bad. Anyways.

batcat fail divorce couple to me. They’re together in some sense but they meet like once a month— Selina was stealing something and Bruce ran into her by chance. They buy shawarma and sit on a roof. Selina talks about how she made out with Ivy and Harley at the same time and Bruce infodumps about bats.

the thing is they love each other, but it’s the layers. Selina knows more than anyone that love makes you weak and in any setting you should put yourself first. She can’t settle down in one place she’d die if she was tethered to something she’s just simply too afraid of attachment. Huge commitment issues. She’s so so scared. Bruce is always busy. Always running. Always flinging himself into the nest step because he has this big goal in his head and if he slows down and thinks the grief will catch up to him. there is also the envy. Bruce envies Selina because she’s free and driven and can do whatever she wants without any rules to hold her back. Selina envied Bruce because he’s so committed to his own agenda to his own rules and he never had to break down so bad it soiled his hands. sometimes Bruce breaks into Selina ‘s super secret supposedly unknown apartment and he plays with her cats. He’s non verbal and just so tired and sad and Selina just sits with him. Sometimes Selina breaks into Wayne manor to steal something she doesn’t really want but Bruce cooks something for her and they watch s movie.

Of course, Zdarsky is a jerk with his one-sided relationship, but I can't deny that my heart has seized up. Given Bruce's anger at the moment at the completely jokerized Gotham and family, Bruce's denial and troubles with the head, Zdarsky`s desire to highlight all words except "hate" (this may be due, among other things, to DC politics, it’s really bad, batcat is prescribed in a too "normal", "sugary" way, I don`t see in Zdarsky a person who would like and could prescribe a batcat, and DC won't let write a mutual batjokes), I think it's fine

Some random but important headcanons about Bruce:

I portray Bruce as a single father by default. My Bruce panromantic & demisexual. He typically only develops crushes on friends and even then they are often one sided.

Depending on who I write with he may eventually have a romantic partner. My love interests for him include: Harvey & Two-Face (especially if the duo go on a redemption arc), Superman, Wonder Woman, J'onn, Hal Jordan, and/or various founding members of the Justice League (I wasn't kidding when I said he tends to develop crushes on friends)

Although batcat is cute I adore @clawsextended 's selina so much that I've decided to make it my default canon for my Bruce that he is a platonic soulmate connection with Selina instead of a romantic one. Bruce really said "let's go lesbians!"

My Bruce doesn't have bio children. He especially doesn't have a Damian bc there's no way he'd let anyone with the surname al Ghul near his d.ick or his heart (sorry Talia)
