maybe im just being pedantic but is anyone else irrationally annoyed about how ryan breslin isnt credited on spotify for king of new york? while ben, kara, and lewis are??

like obviously i love the others, but i mean kony is ryan's song. like ok just counting their solo lines:

davey: 1 line

les: 2 lines

katherine: 5 lines

race: 12 lines

he's credited in the dance break version so why not the main version ??

hes also credited in once and for all, even though hes literally only got two lines in that ??

Can us Fansies tell me the differences between each Race? Example:

Max Casella is giving wine uncle who went through an emo phase when he was a teenager, and always knows the family gossip

Ryan Breslin is your parent’s youngest sibling, who taught you how to drive when you were 12 in your other uncle’s really nice car that he stole the keys for, a former frat boy, and buys you nerf guns for your birthday and has an intense nerf war with you at family reunions

Ben Cook is the cousin you’re closest in age to, who has a caffeine addiction and even if you only see each other in person once a year, you guys still act like lifelong besties when you meet up, and they’re probably the child of the aunt that’s gotten married like 4 times

Idk too much about Josh Barnett’s Race cuz there aren’t any slime tutorials :( so if y’all could help me out with his, or more different personality traits for the Race’s that would be great! (Happy 2nd day of the Newsies’ strike) 🗞️

Newsies opened on Broadway at the Nederlander Theatre for a limited engagement starting in previews on March 15, 2012, and officially on March 29, 2012. On May 16, 2012, Disney announced that Newsies was an open-ended engagement. The engagement was extended through August 19, 2012, after the first previews.

The original cast of the Broadway production featured Jeremy Jordan as Jack Kelly and John Dossett as newspaper tycoon Joseph Pulitzer. The cast also included Kara Lindsay as Katherine Plumber, Capathia Jenkins as Medda Larkin, Ben Fankhauser as Davey, Andrew Keenan-Bolger as Crutchie, Lewis Grosso and Matthew Schechter sharing the role of Les, Tommy Bracco as Spot Conlon, Ryan Breslin as Race, Andy Richardson as Romeo, Garett Hawe as Albert, Ryan Steele as Specs, Aaron J. Albano as Finch, Mike Faist as Morris Delancey and Jordan’s understudy, Mark Aldrich as Seitz and Kevin Carolan as Nunzio and Theodore Roosevelt. The Broadway production cost about $5 million to stage. Newsies recouped its initial investment of $5M in seven months, becoming the fastest of any Disney musical on Broadway to turn a profit, and closed on August 24, 2014, having played 1,004 performances.
