Do you like volume 9? I liked it. I loved some stuff like the Curious Cat and the Jabberwalker. How do you think the rest of the group would react to Juniper?

I've got my complaints, but I'm sure most of it was because of monetary restraints for Vol. 9

I thinks it's a 9.5/10. I love Volume 9

Blake: (Snuggling into Yang) And I'd say we all grew a lot.

Yang: (returning the Snuggles) Yeah. I am going to miss Little though. They were cute.

Jaune: Yeah ... and Juniper.

Ruby: Hey. No one's ever really gone in the ever after. Juniper will be alright.

Jaune: I know. No ones ever really gone if they made an impact on your life.(He grabs the last of Pyrrha's sash) For better ...

Yang: (Flexing her robotic arm) Or Worse.

(Another Portal opens, Spitting out someone)

Juniper: Purpose was to be by the knights side! Purpose fulfilled, new form to do purpose!

Weiss: That doesn't answer the naked part!

Juniper: Had no clothes before, Why need clothes now?

Ruby: Why are you talking like that?

Juniper: Speech is new! But understood lots of the wording of the knight!

Jaune: Could You stop rubbing me against your chest? Please?

Juniper: But the Knight is Beloved? Want to hold Knight close! Knight Makes Juniper feel warm and Good! Want Knight to ride!

Blake: (Staring intently at Ass) Hot.

god Jaune HAS to make it back to Remnant with everyone, because I absolutely must see Nora and Ren being introduced to Juniper the jackalope — and, of course, Juniper being introduced to them

Nora: WHAT IS THAT IT’S SO CUTE 😍😍😍😍😍

before Juniper knows it, their back foot is thumping uncontrollably as Nora introduces them to THE best ear scritches in all of Remnant

Ren is just...very wary of this completely alien animal that is three times his size, but politely holds out his hand for Juniper to sniff anyway

Ren: this is how you make the acquaintance of a huge rabbit, right?

Juniper, in answer, rubs their head vigorously against Ren's whole body

Juniper is offended by the very existence of Vacuo’s jackalope Grimm, and it’s very fun joining their new friends in Kicking Them Good — fighting in a whole team instead of just with Jaune is an interesting novelty

at night, it gets very cold in the Vacuan desert, and Juniper offers their services as a big warm pillow in the sand

Juniper's just looking at the three of them snuggled together against their side, sound asleep, Jaune’s arms slung protectively around the teammates he so clearly adores, and thinks

OK so, RWBY Beyond is definitely implying a return to the Ever After with that portal opening in front of Somewhat and Juniper, and there are so many implications and points of speculation on that...

But that's not what I'm here to talk about

I want to talk about what that means out of universe, one point in particular

Returning to the Ever After, Somewhat and Juniper returning, are yet more proof against the dumbass "vOlUmE nInE iS fIlLeR" take from the shit for brains
