Welp, another AU idea I gotten and now running with, Gilf Jaune, yeah, this is gonna be out there but oh well, again, question ask away, mainly gonna be shitposts but I like making stuff at random

Old Man Relic

Jeanne was pouncing on her bed, giddy and ecstatic, having received arguably the best news in her life! "My my, first time seeing you this excited partner" Giggling her was Jeanne's partner Pyrrha, at the desk working on some homework "heh, sorry about that, I'm just so exited because my grandpa is coming to visit!" Pyrrha perked up at that, happy for her leader "aww, that's great, will we be able to meet him too?" Jeanne scoffed at the idea of not showing how her badass grandpa to her team "duh!, not only is he my grandpa but also a badass veteran huntsmen, he said he was coming to see how Beacon been and to help train me more!, so obviously gonna let you, Ren, and Nora join in!" Ren perked up, happy for his leader but also intrigued "a veteran huh, considering he's your grandfather I'm presuming he served in the great war?" Jeanne nodded, indeed her grandfather was old, but in truth the man was so much older, he barely looked over 75, and in truth he was 120! "Yup, 120 war veteran and hero!"

Pyrrha and Ren couldn't believe what their leader said, sure Aura could basically slow down aging by a bit, staying in peak condition by 60 if not littl more, but 120 had to be a exaggeration, and right on queue "120?!?" busting out off the bathroom was Nora, only wrapped in a towel as she was in the process of brushing her teeth "That's so cool!" Jeanne chuckled as their surprise, Nora quickly shutting the door to dry off fully and get dressed, then busted out of the bathroom again "HOW IS THAT POSSIBLE?!?" From Ren or Pyrrha that question would have been one of bewilderment, but for Nora, she genuinely wanted to know Grandpa Arc's secret to being so old "Well it's due to his naturally large aura reserves and his semblance, Aura Amplification, basically he can rapidly refill anyone's aura and even strengthen their semblance, including himself, basically giving him near unlimited reserves, thanks to that and using it so often back during the war, his lifespan is further than even most huntsmen" Her team was in shock and awe, not only a walking relic, his semblance was downright broken "That so cool!, he must have been a monster back in his day!" Nora was endlessly giddy "Yup, tho now he mainly stays back home, guarding the village and playing the village sage, offering advice and wisdom to whoever asked, a hero he was, a tired old man he is now" And with her peace said, she smiled softly reminiscing about all the old adventuring stories, Ren got up off his bed "So, when is he supposed to arrive?" And at that question Jeanne got up with a surprising smug grin "in just an hour" Nora started jumping and bouncing off the wall "wooooo!, let's go meet the badass Arc Patriarch!" And with that they began finishing up and making sure they all dressed to impressed

Team JNPR stood at the front of Beacon Academy, waiting eagerly for Grandpa Arc's arrival, but while they waited their sister team, Team RWBY spotted them and came over "Jeanne!" Shouted the Red Reaper of Team RWBY "Ruby!, Yang!, Weiss!, Blake!, heya guys!" Jeanne responded back as she was tackled hugged by Ruby "Hey guys, so what's the special occasion?, standing out in the plaza all fancy and pristine" Pyrrha perked up to answer "Jeanne's grandpa is coming to stay awhile to see how she's been" Ruby let go of Jeanne and stood excited "Jeanne's grandpa!, then he must be a super cool Huntsmen!" Jeanne nodded, happy Ruby could already recognize her Grandfather's badassery without even needing to know of his exploits "And get this, Jeanne said her grandpa is 120!, he's a immortal badass!" Nora unable to keep a secret, too excited to contain herself, obviously Team RWBY couldn't believe it "I'm sorry but I find that very unlikely, the 100 would the most, but 120?, that has to be exaggerated a little" Huffed the heiress Weiss Schnee "I'm not, I'm serious he's super old because of his aura and semblance, he'll tell you the same when he arrives!" Jeanne refused to let anyone doubt her super cool grandpa "Well then we won't have to wait long, that must be his Bullhead" Pointing at the approaching Bullhead transport was the smu-(ow!...ahem) Adult Literature reader Blake, which soon landed in front of Beacon, it's side transport door opening, out stepping a fairly tall man, gray and white haired pulled out mostly into a pony-(ow!...sigh) Lone Wolf tail, simple white button up shirt, duster, blue jeans with two belts, and boots, the most striking was his partly dull but still piercing blue eyes, a tower shield on his back, and a strange sword hand with a unusual blocky guard, Jeanne began rushing the man down "GRANDPAAAAA!"

The Old Man had just reached the bottom of the stairs as he was knocked to the floor by his granddaughter, letting out of heavy groan "H-Hey Jenny, g-good to see you too..ooh by back is gonna feel that one in the morning.." Team RWBY and rest of Team NPR look on in..confusion and less than convinced about the old man's incredible past, tho maybe the age was accurate little..

Final Thoughts on RWBY - Weiss

Of all of the characters in RWBY, Weiss was the most ripe for character development. During Beacon, her character development basically capped off with the Checkmate arc. During the separation, we got to see why Weiss was the way she was, and when they meet again in Mistral, she is a LOT nicer.

And then, the biggest thing to happen to her was that she used the M*A*S*H method to solve her family arc. In M*A*S*H, whenever a scummy character would show up, they would get a photo of them doing something else that is scummy, and use it to blackmail him or get him demoted.

Weiss' arc could have been that SHE is Grandpa Nicholas' legacy. Or it could have been that she is more than her name. But that would require character development.

Instead, they decided to have her act like a villain, and threaten to murder her brother. Because Whitley is a prat, and therefore Weiss potentially murdering him is okay. I am so smart. There's also the small issue that both Winter and Weiss have been disinherited, which leaves... Whitley as the heir to the SDC. CRWBY seems to think that all of the evil in the SDC would disappear with Jacques, which means they know nothing about megacorporations. Threatening to murder the heir probably wouldn't help any.

And then we got the Ever After. Weiss finally pulled the rod out of her ass, and, honestly, became magickal. Accepting the world as it is, including it's failures, and her own.

And the way she reacted to the Rusted Knight proves she does have a maiden's heart in her frozen chest.

Unfortunately this isn’t Monkey 60, it’s someone else. The big issue that manga made and I can see it is how ultimately nothing matter. Don’t mistake my intentions, loving who you are is a great message but when the message involves a character being ignored while showing signs of heavy depression to the point of being not alive (I’m hoping this phrase is okay) and them magically getting over it feels sorta disgusting. It’s like a bad form of coping that I feel is more toxic than positive and the writers are trying to paint it like committing not alive (again I’m hoping this phrase is okay) and being reborn makes all the problems go away.

And considering you're talking to a guy whose had suicidal thoughts and has depression- you could have just said 'comitting suicide' and it would have been fine.

I hope you see this because I'm gonna be bearing a lot here.

I feel like Kamen doesn't understand the complexities of depression and suicidal thoughts.

The mentioning of how Ruby's friends and family don't show concern for Ruby? That's not true. They do show concern for Ruby. Everyone is visibly uncomfortable when Ruby gives the parting line at the end of V9 E2. Blake tries to comfort Ruby during E7 and remind her of staying cheerful. Yang...does this three fucking times.

Do you want to know what Ruby herself does each time? She rejects them. She pushes them away or shoots down their concerns. Then she explodes on them for things that are either not their fault or just trying to move on.

RUby wasn't ignored- She felt ignored because she was isolating herself.

And just as well- Only Ruby could pull herself out of that slump. Only Ruby could pull herself out of that hole she dug herself in. Only Ruby could overcome that.

'But isn't it really wrong to just have your character magically get over suicidal depression after a small talk?'

Maybe. But you know what would be worse than Ruby's situation?

Losing the only man who ever believed in you, showed faith in you and guided you. Your so-called comrades not only TRULY ignore your pain, one of them even says that you're at fault for his death because you had an emotional episode and he died saving you. And all he gets is a minor call out by his sister. But you getting up in your friend's face, putting blame on him for your bro's death because of his religion? That's a big no-no. And the only person to actually try talking to you is some girl you found about a day ago. But hey, it's all better now! The girl you use to have a crush on told a story about your bro that you might have not even heard and you're all better after a speech!

I mean, what awful, no good, poorly written, obscure trash could that even be-

Oh. It's not only one of the most well remembered scenes in one of the most well beloved recent anime-

It's the story of the character who inspired me to keep living.

Yeah, I wasn't just saying bullshit to defend RWBY when I said I've had suicidal thoughts. That is something i legitimately went through. Back when i was in high school, with depression destroying my motivation to work on my grades, my mom screaming her head off at me about how I was ruining my life, how I hated how angry and temperamental I was. I legitimately thought about sliting my wrists and walking out into the snow to die.

And then i caught Kill La Kill on Toonami at my grandpa's house. I thought it looked cool so I looked it up and found Gurren Lagann. And I binged watched it. I watched a kid who went through far worse than me, finding himself in as deep a hole as me. And he pulled himself out. He found the will to keep living, to keep fighting, to break through any wall in front of him. And by the end, Simon was a true hero.

And that inspired to keep living.

I'm sorry but the arguments Kamen and so many make about Ruby's arc would also apply to Simon's. That there's no self reflection? Simon proceeds to do reckless bullshit throughout the series.

That no one cares about them and no one reflects on how they affected them? Team Dai-Gurren legitimately NEVER check up on Simon or try talking to him. NIA did more for him than they did and she knew him for a fucking day.

That what they did to them was toxic? Gee, at least Team RWBY admitted they may have made a mistake. Kittan, the guy who threw Kamina's death into Simon's face, acts like he always knew he was okay and he suffers no consequences for his actions.

That they're magically okay afterwards? Trying to show me a picture of Ruby coming back and Simon coming back would be like that Office meme- they're the same damn picture.

In every regard, for me to accept that RWBY fucked up would be to accept that Gurren Lagann fucked up as bad if not WORSE. And that doesn't work considering it resonated with me enough to keep going.

So I hope you understand why I don't think these arguments work. Especially since I know quite a few of these guys are Gurren Lagann fans.

jaune is spiderman au) in which jaune is everyone's favorite webslinger, going by the name Huntsman (after the huntsman spider) downside he lacks the tech other spidermen have, upside he's already got tons of superstength and durability before he unlocks his aura! however his story is a little different than most spidermen, since everyone around him is a bad ass his grandpa (who's this story's uncle ben) doesn't die. instead when a white fang operative tries to rob him grandpa arc draws a revolver shoots his enemy dead and holsters without breaking stride. people at the scene describe him saying to himself "it's a hell of a thing killing a man" while walking away. take us through the life of a spiderman that the universe doesn't hate

A universe that DOESN'T hate Spider-Man? Oof... Tall order there, friend. But, sure, I'll see what I can do. Before we begin, might I regale you with my research? If not, skip to the read more. When I was playing Shattered Dimension for the PlayStation, there was a bumper in the loading screen explaining that there was a Parker of York Spider-Man who was a knight cursed with the blessings of a spider. I thought to look into this for inspiration, but I came up with bupkis on that. Instead, I found three different inspirations that used the name of Spider Knight. The first is Spyder-Knight from Disney's Ultimate Spider-Man. Not really anything too interesting. Just a knight in Spider-Man armor. Then there's the Prince of Arachne, who was a Peter Parker who worked for the noble Osborn family. He left after Princess Gwendolyn died in his place when Norman Osborn tried to kill him with a chandelier. Peter became knight and served as the Prince of the kingdom, sadly leaving a heartbroken Mary Jane to weep for his return. Then there's the SpiderKnight, who is a fusion of Spider-Man and Moon Knight, which is Peter Parker with D.I.D., including him, the witty voice of The Spider, the serious voice of The Knight, the confident voice of The CEO, and the techy voice of The Science. And then there's SpideyMoon, which... is a thing, apparently? A CANON THING, TOO! Like, apparently, they dated, but it's never brought up again after one mention in one panel? Actually, now that I think about it, I think that was just a joke Spider-Man made. But, yeah, that's what I found. Anyway, here's your Huntsman Spider AU~!

Chapter 1 - Somethin' Sensational~!

There is an old saying, often told to those who begin questioning their lot in life...

"There are those who are born great. There are those who achieve greatness. And there are those who have greatness thrust upon them."

For one such young man, named Jaune Arc, he wasn't quite sure where he fit into these categories. One could argue he was born great as his ancestors were all heroes and imbued upon him the genetics of a great warrior. However, it could also be argued that greatness was thrust upon him when he awoke one morning with unusual abilities that allowed him to sense danger and climb up walls.

The third category, however, Jaune was certain he wouldn't fit into. His chances of "achieving greatness" were slim to none. Even if he'd somehow managed to stumble his way into Beacon Academy, a school for Huntsmen and Huntresses from all over Remnant, he still a poor fit as both a leader and a hero.

That said, he still did what he could to help out anyone he could. Like his grandfather taught him. "If you can do it, then just do it." His work schedule as a midnight superhero was a bit of a mess, but it's not like he could just stand by and do nothing. Especially not when his world was tearing itself apart.

"I'm screwed..." Jaune groaned into his textbook.

"Is that so?" Ren, his roommate, asked as he read from his own book.

"Doctor Oobleck is going to eat me alive tomorrow. I've been so busy dealing with the Torchwick gang that I wasn't paying attention to anything he's said this past week."

"You could always ask for a remedial class." Ren turned the page.

"And when would I have time for that? When you've already graduated while I'm still trying to figure out what color underwear Gura Belladonna wore when the White Fang disbanded?"

"Ghira Belladonna." Ren corrected. "And you don't have to worry about the underwear color. Just the cloak color. Which was..."

"Red?"

"No."

"White?"

"No."

"Green?"

"No."

"I'm screwed, aren't I?"

"Yes."

As Jaune slammed his face into his book again, he scroll suddenly buzzed. It was an emergency alert from the school...

"All students are required to remain away from Vale downtown due to a robbery in progress."

"Ren?" Jaune shut his textbook and ran to the closet. He snagged his backpack, complete with his superhero suit, and ran for the window.

"I'll tell any girls asking about you that you just missed them." Not looking up from his own studying. Jaune's leaving had become something of a routine at this point.

"Yeah, right." Jaune opened the window. "Like any girl would ever ask about me." Leaping out, he ran up the wall to the roof. Easier to change from there.

"3... 2..." A knock came from the door. Ren stood and opened it, finding his best friend and her roommate standing with their own textbooks. "Hello, girls."

"Hi, Ren~!" Nora cheerfully greeted.

"Hello, Ren," Pyrrha also greeted, albeit more demurely, "is Jaune here?"

"You just missed him." Ren said with a smirk.

"There's trouble downtown."

"Mhm."

"Do you think it's the White Fang?"

"Could be."

"This used to be such a nice city."

"Mhm."

"If only the police would do their jobs."

"..."

Jaune made his way from the school to downtown as fast as his legs could carry him. It was times like these, which happened every time there was a crime to be stopped, that he wished he'd brought his bike with him to Beacon. At the time, he didn't think he'd leave the academy very often, and even now he argued that it would only make it more obvious who this masked vigilante stepping in to stop crimes that huntsmen were either too busy, or too corrupt, to stop was.

Thankfully, he'd developed a routine by now and figured out the fastest way to downtown was by train. He didn't have a ticket, so he'd have to hitch a ride. Last time he tried to jump on it while the train was still in the station, the conductor's refused to move until he jumped off. For some reason, people didn't trust masked vigilantes when they said, "I'm trying to stop a crime from happening!"

Jaune was now downtown-bound with his eyes on The Gilded Crown, the biggest bank in Vale. Keeping low to the roof he quietly prayed that whoever was tough enough to make such an attempt was also nice enough to give up without a fight. Sadly, they were more the former and less the latter.

The train began to slow and Jaune leapt off the train and made a running start for the building closest to the station; the Vale CCTV News station where Lisa Lavender gave her unbiased view on him. And when Jaune says unbiased, he means that he doesn't like what she says but replies, "to be fair to her", to each of her arguments. After all, The Huntsman Spider is, was, and, for the foreseeable future, will always be a vigilante, not a huntsman or a police officer who work by codes, regulations, rules, laws, and everything else that stops a person from doing the right thing.

An extensive and drawn-out hop, skip, and a jump later, Jaune was watching the scene play out. Police, huntsmen, and huntresses were engaged in a firefight with bank robbers wearing black fedoras, black suits, red ties and red glasses. The Torchwick Gang. Jaune was weighing his options when he spotted someone breaking into the side of the building, through a top floor window.

"Hm," Jaune hummed, "either this vigilante thing is catching on, or there's something else going on here." Looking down to the brave boys and girls in blue and green, he decided they had enough on their plate without him 'getting in their way', as they like to say. "Think it's time I give them a break."

"So, Ren~?" Nora leaned in, cooing with a sweetness in her voice. "Any idea when Jaune will be back~?"

"I don't think he'll be back until late." Ren answered, not looking up from his textbook.

"Seriously?" Nora gave a long sigh and fell back onto his bed. "Isn't he failing history?"

"He's been studying. I'm sure he'll be fine on tomorrow's exam."

"Well, that may be so," Nora jumped from her back to her knees, "but there's a lot more important things to worry about than studying!" She glanced over to Pyrrha. "Like maybe getting closer to your friends~?" She waggled her brows.

"Nora..." Pyrrha gave a small pout. It was true she held an affection for Jaune, but it wasn't something she needed to focus on. She was attending Beacon to become a huntress, not to find a boyfriend. Getting a date for the weekend wasn't important right now, even if it's something she really wanted.

"Jaune and I are plenty close, Nora." Ren replied, not looking up from his book.

The two girls shared a look.

The inside of the bank was dark. Torchwick's gang must have shut off the power to make this heist a little easier for them. Jaune looked down from the rafters above as the black-cloaked goons of Vale's most dangerous criminal continued to unload bullet after bullet against the "protectors of the innocent".

Jaune understood it was a hard job to be a police officer and a huntsman. That's what his grandpa used to do, after all. However, according to the man himself, things have gotten way to lax and hard in the wrong places. When he threatened to go to the council, couple of dirty cops pinned Jaune's grandpa with a crime he didn't commit. No charges were pressed, but he was stripped of his badge and had his good name muddied.

From what Jaune had seen, this wasn't the case for all of the police, but still too many to just blindly trust all of them with everything. So he decided to let things play out down below while chasing the shadowy figure moving ahead of him. He kept his distance, following the obvious trail they left. Open doors and open windows practically screamed-

"This way!' Jaune looked down and watched as the goons started running deeper into the bank. Huntsmen and police wouldn't be too far behind. Jaune had to work fast.

Jaune's head throbbed, and his back slammed against the wall by a doorway on instinct. Bullets sprayed from the other side, meaning stealth was no longer an option. Holding up his arms, keeping his target in view, he charged forward as bullets ricocheted off his armor plating. When he got close enough, he ducked low and pushed himself forward into the figure.

That didn't work, though, and he what he jumped into fell away like solid smoke. His head throbbed and he rolled away as soon as he hit the ground, narrowly avoiding the swipe of a blade. As his rolling came to a stop, he watched the figure flee around a corner, beginning the chase again. He was about to indulge when he heard shouting from the other direction.

Following this noise, he found another large room, though this one wasn't riddled with bullets like before. Instead, there a group of hostages, all tied up and gagged, with the largest of them being yanked to his feet by Torchwick's thugs. Jaune could play cat and mouse with his lead, but not when there was somebody in trouble. Jumping down from the second floor, he landed on the balls of his feet and hopped forward. The gang members gave shouts as they aimed their weapons at him. He ran to the side, keeping clear of the hostages, and chased after the running gang members.

They dragged the large hostage down the corridor leading to the back exit. Jaune barreled through and knocked aside any criminal that got in his way. When they got up to try and chase down their assailant, they were captured by the pursuing huntsmen. Jaune made it to the back alley where the hostage was being shoved into a long car. Jaune made for a running jump and landed just as the car was peeling out.

"Whoa, whoa, whoa!" Jaune shouted as the car swerved around, trying to shake him off. For better or worse, Jaune wasn't flying off with his hands sticking to the roof of the car. His head throbbed and he rolled to the side, narrowly avoiding a blade stabbing through the roof. His head throbbed again, instigating him to roll aside once more. By the time the third stab came, he rolled himself into position over the window. Giving a little hop, he smashed through the window, and everything started to slow down around Jaune.

The guy with the blade, shocked at the sudden intrusion, fumbled with his weapon before trying to stab Jaune with it. The thrust was avoided as Jaune slid into the vehicle with both hands now removed from the roof. Curling into himself, Jaune punched one goon while grabbing hold of the blade from the not sharp side. He then kicked the blade goon as Jaune tugged on the blade. One goon pulled his gun on Jaune, but the hostage jumped into him, giving Jaune the chance to avoid being shot and knocking the goon out.

"You okay?" Jaune asked, untying the hostage. "You usually hear about these kinds of things happening on trains."

"Aside from the glass in my suit," the man grumbled, scowling at Jaune as he removed the gag from his mouth, "I'll live." He took the gun and made his way to the front, where he tapped on the glass. The window opened and he shoved the gun through. "Pull over!"

"Whoa, whoa! Careful!" Jaune shouted. "No need to get violent!"

"Really?" The man asked sarcastically. "After kicking the hell out three asses, shoving a gun into a fourth is where you draw the line?" The car slowed to a stop.

"Wouldn't you?" Jaune asked, trying to ease the tension.

Without looking at his savior, the man replied. "You sound just like him." His arm twitched. "And you. Try anything funny and you'll wish you killed me back there."

Jaune, not sensing any danger, exited the limo with the large man. The man took the lead and brought Jaune into an alley where he could escape. Before he left, Jaune and the man had a talk.

"Look, kid, I get that your heart's in the right place," the man said, "but a lot of people got hurt today. If you want to help people, be a huntsman, or a cop. Don't make things worse by putting on a mask and being a hero."

"I have to, though." Jaune said. "If something bad happens and I could have stopped it, then it's no different than if I did the bad thing." Jaune's voice was a bit shaky, since this was a much larger man he was speaking to, but it was the honest truth.

"You really are just like Ghira." The man chuckled.

"You know Ghira Bellafauna?"

"Guess you were studying without us, huh, Jaune?" Nora remarked.

"Well, something like that." Jaune chuckled. "Ren and I have been really hitting the books this past week."

"Yeah, well, some things are a lot more important than studying, you know." Nora rolled her eyes.

"Nora..." Pyrrha grumbled.

As Jaune ignored Nora, he felt like someone was staring at him. He looked around, his eyes passing over the classroom until he caught someone looking right at him a few desks away. The girl looked away, keeping her eyes glued to her exam paper. He recognized her, but more as a friend of a friend than an actual friend. Blake, wasn't it?

Nora, with smoke flowing from her hair: "I was held up by Professor Port..."

Jaune, covered in soot: *Bursts through the doors* "Sorry I'm late Profess-"

(AN=i don’t own fate stay night or rwby)

"when i was a kid, i want to be hero" Jaune narrated

the screen show a young Jaune in bed with star in his eyes. beside him was his grandpa Johnathan telling a fairytale about a hero save the day. the next scene show young Jaune wearing plastic armor and wooden sword play with his little sister

"but not one ever believed in me"

the scene change to young Jaune fighting his dad. the screen change to young jaune crying with his back at the door. next scene show young jaune get bully by human and faunus kid.

"i still try to become a hero"

the screen cut to young jaune training in early morning with wooden sword.

"but it the end i give up"

he was now show looking his wooden sword with teary eyes before let it go. the scene show few memory of Jaune, cooking with his mom, dancing with his sister, get cross dressed by his sister, sewing with his mom, planting plant, and cleaning the house. but few of it show Jaune with fake smile

"but in the darkness, someone give me a hope"

the scene show Jaune now at age 17 talking to johnathan on his death bed with teary eyes.

"a hero isn't a person who is strong, a hero is person where he can stands up and raise his fist to protect other people. not matter what the challenge is"

Jaune eyes slowly open wide and slowly he cried. not just sadness but joys and happiness. the screen change to jaune hang on the tree with a spear before his hoodie get torn off. he fall on his butt. he hear a rustling leaves, Jaune open his eyes see a girl with red hair.

that girl have golden-brown eyes and she as tall as Ruby. her bust is little bigger than Ruby. her hair is short and look fluffy. she wear black tight and sleeveless shirt that only covered upper body and her stomach uncovered, simple breastplate, red hood that reach slightly below her shoulders, black short and red open skirt which ended above her shins. she also wears black metal plated shoes. on each of her hand there are two sword, black and white. her golden-brown eyes look into to jaune blue eyes. the screen pulled back show Jaune Arc in sitting position on the ground with his hands planted behind him to prop himself up, looking up to Shina Emiya. a rustling of the trees brought a single ray of sunlight down into the forest, illuminating the girl who stood over him.

Jaune it show cooking with Shina beside him. she wearing a white apron while jaune wear a yellow one. behind them is Nora talking about her dream about vampire troll while Ren and team RWBY listen to it.

the next scene show Ruby, Blake, and Sun in the dock fighting the white fang while Jaune fighting with Roman and Shina fighting Neo. Roman kept shooting at Jaune and Shina clash blade with Neo. the screen cut of to Shina in front of her friend with purple-pink energy that shape like a flower

the screen change to jaune and Shina fighting Atlesian Paladin-290 on a train. the screen cut to jaune in front of the train by few meter. his body shine with pure white. Shina eyes widen

"Jaune!!!"

after that a calmer scene show Jaune with black suit and red tie dancing with Shina wearing red dress and a red heel. they slow dance under moon light on the roof. they stare into each other eyes with love.

the final scene show Jaune and Shina. part of Jaune right hoodie get burn off to show not just his abs and muscle, but his bruise, cut, and bleeding body. he also bleeding on his head over left eye. while Shina not look better too. her breastplate is gone and some part of red skirt is gone too. her body show bruise, cut, and bleeding too. they are holding hand together. slowly Shina body lit up with cyan circuit like lines across her body. slowly the lines trailed down to her hand and to Jaune body. Jaune body lit up with cyan circuit like lines too. both of them trace Kanshou and Bakuya, Jaune hold the black blade on his left hand while Shina hold the white sword o her right hand. they open their mouth and yell.

"Trace On!!!"

One of the biggest reasons I’m not quitting this show is because I’m convinced that Miles purposely wrote that bullshit to get the people who hate Jaune to stop watching because he wants to make his Self-Insert a harem protagonist who is the key to saving the world or something like that. That, and the fact that the actually interesting characters (Like Ren, Nora, team RWBY, Oscar, and Emerald) are still there.

Miles ultimately didn’t want to write a female-centric show, he wanted to write Jaune: The Series and it shows. Jaune is the wish fulfillment character you find in most Shonen. Except done worse. Unlike Goku or Naruto, Jaune’s tragedies have been largely unearned. I mean… Goku has to deal with the fact that he’s responsible for Grandpa Gohan’s death! Naruto is an ostracized orphan!. And Miles goes out of his way to try to make his fave be as uninteresting as possible while still giving him all the screentime… In a show that was advertised as a female-centric show.

This show has potential. It still does. But as long as a hack writer like Miles Luna is at the helm, this show will never improve. It will always step into the same pitfalls as before. The reason why we haven’t gotten the blang kiss?- Because it keeps viewers around who want to see that kiss, and having them kiss would (gasp!) turn off the homophobic viewers. The reason why it took so long to have an actual person of color be in the protagonist group?- Because Miles is too afraid to write something that he’s not familiar with as a white guy (his words, not mine). The reason it took him so long to have a female writer?- Because then he might have to have Jaune share the spotlight with a character lacking a y-chromosome. Miles’ bad writing manifests through Jaune. Which is why everyone calls Jaune a Self-Insert Creator’s Pet. Miles has done nothing to disprove of that in the slightest. He can deny it all he wants, but actions speak louder than words, and right now, the actions taken by the writing team tells us that Jaune is going to remain prominent for a very long time.

So yeah. This show is going to end up being horrible because Miles is too afraid and is too egocentric to realize that people watch RWBY for RWBY. Only incels watch it for Jaune “I refused to take ‘no’ for an answer until I saw the girl I was constantly asking out despite her being annoyed about it asking out another guy” Arc. Only selfish people watch it for Miles “I had Yang get punished and belittled for wanting to save Blake but I had Jaune get rewarded for wanting revenge” Luna’s writing. And YES. I am NEVER letting that go. If I do, assume that I’m dead.

It’s too late to have Jaune face any repercussions for his actions now. The Salem thing has gotten so big that they would brush it off, and the plot (read: Miles) doesn’t want Jaune to face consequences for his actions.

Miles 100% knows that the viewers have a rocky viewing of Jaune at best, so I’m convinced that he did this to drive away people who have a more negative view of his pet away. Miles should honestly stop writing for this show and make a new series. One where he can put in the self-insert character. I’m sure that he’d get all kinds of girls clamoring for his dick if he were to advertise that he’s writing a series where his new self-insert gets to have everything handed to him, have someone else getting a paper cut be treated as if his new self-insert lost a loved one, because I believe that he would do that too. He can call it “The Adventures of Liles Muna”

So yeah. Seriously. Miles can go fuck himself. And Jaune can have a cactus shoved up his ass. I watch this show for the characters that it advertises. Not some bland Self-insert whose VA is also a writer who wants so desperately to be liked that he shoves his pet into everything.

Fucking hell, the plot’s going to bend over backwards to justify Jaune’s presence in Volume 9′s void world, isn’t it?
