Lucifer glanced at the bottom of Cassian's door on his way to the kitchen, why was his light still on? He himself needed another pot of coffee to finish these documents, but there was no reason Cass should be up this late. He knocked twice on the wooden door, all potential thoughts of him falling asleep with the light on washed away by the sound of a chair moving and some soft footsteps.
Cass opened the door with a surprised look on his face, "Lucifer?" He said quietly.
The demon raised an eyebrow. "Were you expecting someone else?"
"N-no, it's just that I didn't think... well you... uhmm...."
"It's alright, take your time."
Cass whispered a 'thank you' before taking a deep breath and starting again. "I just was surprised it was you, usually if someone's at my door it's like, Belphie or Mammon."
"I see, do they usually visit you this late?"
"Not... usually... well... maybe a few times a week?"
Lucifer sighed, "I'll need to have a talk with them, they don't need to be interrupting you while you sleep, you need your rest."
Cass smirked, "Says you knocking on my door at 2 in the morning."
Lucifer matched the human's expression, "And I wouldn't be if you were in bed sleeping."
That made Cassian shrink back a bit.
"What were you doing?"
"Oh, I was doing some calculations!"
Lucifer couldn't believe his ears, Cassian never did math willingly. Usually they had to drag him kicking and screaming to even start his work. "Is this for schoolwork?"
Cass shook his head, "It's for a game."
He quickly walked back to his desk and brought back a notebook, with the door open Lucifer could see his laptop was also open next to it. There were various tabs open along with what seemed to be the login screen for something. He looked down at the notebook Cassian was showing him.
"Uhm so, in Sigilscape, it's an online game me and Levi play, there's a skill called Prayer, and the best way to train it is going into the Deep Forest and using bones on this shrine. So at first I was trying to find out how many I'd need to buy to get to the level I need, but then!"
He pointed to another messy set of numbers on the page.
"I found out that the Specterfuntus gives a bit more XP, though it's slower, it's a lot safer since the Deep Forest shrine has a lot of PKers near it... Oh! PK means player killer, it's other players that will attack you, cause you can do that in the Deep Forest."
Lucifer felt like his head was spinning, he usually tuned out Levi's game ramblings, but he wasn't expecting Cassian to go on a verbal rampage tonight.
"So I was just trying to find out how many bones I'd need to get the levels I need!"
"That sounds..." Fun? Interesting? He wasn't sure what to say to all of that.
Luckily for him, Cassian yawned. "I guess I should get to bed though, thanks for checking up on me." He sweetly smiled at the demon.
Lucifer pet Cassian on the head, "You're welcome, have a good rest."
Cass nodded and shut the door, and Lucifer walked away, dazed and confused, he might just need two pots of coffee after that exchange.

Hey there, I feel like this is a necessary post because we have some Brazilian girlies here.
The southern state of Brazil, my state, is literally underwater right now, thousands of people lost their homes, some died and some are missing due to heavy flooding. If you're in one of the affected areas, please be careful, pay attention to the news as some emergency numbers aren't working anymore, they're sharing new ones. Seek safe shelter, either with family members or the public ones. There's also a risk of dam failure, the Civil Defense is constantly updating on those, be aware to know when you have to evacuate the area. If you can help with donations or even sharing the news to get to more people, you're more than welcome. I'll leave some links showing how to help. Please be safe, it's a disaster out there! And no matter what your personal belief is, please pray for those people.
Civil Defense - To get updates on the situation
SC Internacional - To donate
Grêmio - To donate
Public shelter in Porto Alegre

It sucks that the original Lord of the Rings movies are actually so good, because it makes it so hard to be a Hater. Like, with most franchises that have expanded into massive corporate Marvel Star Wars Disney Cinematic Universe Franchises you can look back at the original movie that started it and be like “this movie was not actually That Deep. this was ultimately just a pretty simple standard generic action adventure story that happened to have a solid cast/great art direction/groundbreaking visual effects/etc, and then people collectively assigned it depth that the original film’s story didn’t actually have.”
But like… the Fellowship of the Ring IS that good! It really is! It is genuinely a perfect horrible complex fairytale of a film that does have those many many elaborate rewarding layers of depth and meaning. It IS that good! It is that deep!
And that makes it hard to be all cynical about it, even with how the Franchise(tm) has evolved XP. Alas.

so can we talk abt how in wyfilwma
1. when penelope asks ody for her "favor" it first plays the danger motif
2. it then plays odysseus' motif (it plays again once she says "only my husband knew that")
(both on viola) bc to odysseus all he heard was "..DIVORCE????" but no. she was outsmarting him. the same way he has done the entire show. no one has been able to outwit him except her. so it plays his motif but on her instrument. fking married people im sick

One thing I love about Jegulus is that the rest of the school are just living their normal teen years, falling in love and being messy and stupid like everybody else. Some of them will have horrible breakups over the war but it's normal and human. Then Jegulus are there having their whole massive Greek tragedy complete with extensive metaphors, secret rooms and an intrinsically deep, historical aspect to their entire relationship that it unmatched by any other on the planet. And somehow they're still a secret from everybody else, their love reads like one of the epics but it's so small and hidden.
They're just that dramatic ig
