yes, it’s been three weeks, and yes, I’m still screaming about the fact that Imogen was at her lowest when she met laudna (was thinking of ending it all), and laudna had been roaming aimlessly for thirty years, utterly alone. No purpose, no reason for living, until she met the purple-haired sorcerer that saved her life no questions asked as soon as they first met, then chose to stick together forever, hold on to each other, sleep on the same bed for the next two years and help each other find answers to their miserable existence- and now, NOW that they finally got it together, got some stupid answers, and actually gained some power over the forces that had subdued them for years, KISSED, immediately- literally nine days into their relationship- the shitty world that they live in decided to make it clear and remind them that their days are numbered (significantly smaller numbers than they had accounted for) and that they won’t get to live their quiet life on a field, raise horses and just be. I AM OK ABOUT THAT. TOTALLY FINE.

No, is his immediate reaction and, to his continued mortification, his mouth blurts it out without his permission. He shoves his hands in his pockets, ducking his chin to glare at the dirt as he mutters, “I mean, I don’t…mind it.” He glances back up at his friend through his fringe to find a delighted smile aimed his way, wide and bright and captivating. His heart leaps in his chest at the sight.

Nights spent on the couch together, talking about everything and nothing, Gon’s icy toes tucked under his thighs despite the fire just a few feet away. Evenings dancing around each other in the kitchen as dinner cooks, or waking up on the weekends to breakfast, or hastily packing lunches for one another when they’re running late for their next hunt. He wants all of them, mornings and afternoons and nights together, for as long as Gon will have him to share them.

Killua’s lips tilt up at that, what must seem like a corny, childish request. He indulges him with an affirming hum.

Gon takes a steadying breath, inhales slowly and holds it in his lungs for a moment before wishing, “Stay with me forever.”

A sharp elbow in his gut distracts him, then Killua’s reprimanding tone as he scolds, “Watch the movie, perv.”

“But Killua,” Gon whines, drawing out the last vowels of his boyfriend’s name petulantly, “I missed you and the movie is boring anyway.”

“Hey!” Killua complains, turning in his hold enough to meet his gaze with a mock glare. “Take that back.”

“No,” Gon replies stubbornly, tightening his arms around Killua’s waist. He can see the familiar glint of mischief in those blue eyes, so he knows Killua isn’t actually upset about the insult to his favorite film. He’s just about to continue where he left off when Killua moves away, deliberately avoiding his advances if his smirk is any indication.

Gon whines his name again, trying in vain to kiss his boyfriend. Killua masterfully eludes him despite never leaving the circle of Gon’s arms.

“Take it back,” he demands again, poking Gon in the side, just below his ribs. He jumps reflexively, narrowing his eyes at the competitive tone. “Or I’ll make you.”

Heat flares in his stomach at those words, anticipation coursing through his veins as he goads back, “So make me.”

“I’m not afraid of Killua,” Gon assures earnestly, putting every ounce of love and trust into his tone that he can. Killua still doesn’t budge, stubbornly holding on to his misplaced sense of protection. He’s so kind, Gon thinks a little sadly, that even in the midst of his own turmoil he thinks first of keeping Gon safe. So Gon waits patiently. He’s willing to sit here all night until Killua gives him his hand; he refuses to allow Illumi’s lies to take root any deeper than they already have.

His best friend knows him well enough to realize he’s fighting a losing battle because eventually he gives in with a heavy sigh, offering his hands reluctantly. Taking them in his own, Gon wastes no time in bringing one to his lips to place a kiss to his palm. Killua jolts at the touch as if shocked by his own electricity.

“G-Gon, don’t.” He shifts uneasily, even tries to tug his hands back again as he eyes Gon with an uncertain, wary gaze. His next words are so soft that they’re barely audible when he mumbles, “They’re dirty.”

“Killua looks good with his hair like this,” Gon murmurs absently, almost like he’s thinking aloud, trailing his hand higher still until he’s carding his fingers through the longer curls. His eyes dart over, lower, and his hand follows until he’s fingering one of the piercings in Killua’s ear. His touch is soft against the sensitive skin; it’s all Killua can do not to shiver.

“And these, too,” Gon adds. Is it Killua’s imagination or was his tone kind of breathy? But that wouldn’t make sense—Gon doesn’t—

He tries to respond, licks his lips in an attempt to despite not knowing what to say, but then Gon’s gaze snaps down to lock on his mouth.

“Because Killua deserves to be spoiled,” Gon answers matter-of-factly, eyes lifting to meet his again and staying. Killua’s certain his face is way too red to blame on the lukewarm bathwater, so he turns away from the earnest look to face the wall again. Gon giggles knowingly behind him.

“I don’t,” he mumbles, wishing his hair wasn’t slicked back with suds so he could hide behind his fringe. He feels especially vulnerable right now, even with Gon at his back.

“You do.” Gon insists, tone brooking no argument as he starts to rinse the soap away. He reaches forward to tilt Killua’s head for him again. “Killua helps me all the time. The least I can do is wash your hair now and then.”

It makes his heart ache, knowing Killua doesn’t truly know tenderness. That he hasn’t experienced contact that’s soft on his skin just because he deserves to be touched without having bruises left in the wake of it.

When he first realized it, Gon wanted to reach out and gather his friend close, wanted to offer an open palm and urge, Here, see? You’re safe. I’ll take care of you. But he noticed the rigid set of his best friend’s shoulders, the flex of his sharp fingers and the aversion of his eyes, and knew he would have to earn that right.

very demure & mindful of you to recommend these. i had no idea the Miah_Kat one-shot fluff kingdom existed, and my existence = infinitely better after reading every last one of these. their use of languages is so unique & heartwarming.

seeing as wuwa's doing the whole lock locations behind the story deal, my only hope is that there will be some kind of travelling merchant that occasionally comes by and sells things like regional specialties and even boss materials, regardless of how far the player's progressed. would seriously help new players who haven't unlocked the regions along with saving caught up players some time

the absolute arhgggg I feel whenever someone tells Jarra to shut up is pain because she obviously loves what she does and she should be able to talk about it with her friends! Let the girl speakkkk. also random theory time,

so Jarra felt like a really young child in the first portal book when she made her decision to come to Asgard U. Now, Jarra did not seem like that in the two prequel books, she was an intelligent teenager with a decent emotional maturity. (Mostly thru avoidance but she was doing good)

then when book one starts Jarra is acting like she’s 10 or 11, she’s making rash decisions and her logic is faulty and angry. I… can’t knock this up to her being angry, Jarra gets plenty angry in the books and never reacts like this. I think it was her being devestated. Jarra struggle with emotions so when she found the dead body she was in shock, she set everything up but when she found out the details she was FURIOUS, like dangerously do, but she was also devastated because I mean who wouldn’t be. Anyways, from Jarras reaction when her parents died we know she reacts badly to devestation like really badly, like go into fugue state badly. But Jarra couldn’t do that because she had no fantasy land to go to then, so she made a subconscious different choice to instead age regress of some sort. I don’t really know if this is what Janet intended but it is what I got from that because of how Jarra acts in the prequels vs the first book but idk

El Dakar, por su parte, siempre había sido un lugar donde hacer experimentos y dónde las marcas probaban ideas, pero tal vez faltaba darle un sentido y una visión, que llevara a estas ideas a tener un mismo propósito más allá de la agenda de cada constructor. Así nació Dakar Future, donde acompañado por la mayor libertad de reglas que caracterizan al rally raid de otras categorías de pista o el WRC, las marcas e incluso preparadores más pequeños han comenzado a probar soluciones que si tienen mucho futuro en nuestros autos de calle.

La aventura de llegar a la meta se volvió más compleja en nuestra era: También queremos llegar a la meta con un desafío de ir más allá en la propulsión de nuestros prototipos. Precursores en esto fueron los preparadores del prototipo eléctrico Acciona EcoPowered en Sudamérica, pero ahora es casi una norma que los equipos principales están haciendo más verde su recorrido en la ruta algunos años antes de que sea impuesto por ASO y la FIA.

Tenemos a Audi con el proyecto más ambicioso de todos con el prototipo híbrido pero que usa solo motores eléctricos para los ejes motrices. Audi busca ganar la carrera luego es un esfuerzo titánico para ser parejo con los autos de combustión y ya hizo historia ganando etapas en 2022. HINO también luchará por mantener su récord de triunfos en su categoría con un camión híbrido. Este es un auto que pelea por ganar el Dakar con Sebastien Loeb y dónde no se puede regalar ni una milésima a los rivales. A este camino se han sumado el Repsol Rally Team con un biocombustible para Isidre Esteve desarrollado por Repsol pensando en la industria y Astara Team, que llegará a un 90% de la propulsión con este método. Astara es una compañía de movilidad y tiene divisiones automotrices. Buggyra Tatra propulsará sus camiones con el nuevo biodiesel HVO. 

Más allá en estos pasos ha ido el equipo KH-7 Epsilon que será el primero en integrar al hidrógeno en la competición intentando proveer a su camión 6X6 hasta un 50% de la energía con H2 reduciendo el consumo de diesel. Y Cyril Despres y Guerlain Chicherit están trabajando en prototipos 100% hidrógeno que debieran estrenarse en los próximos años.

Al darle un mensaje conjunto a los esfuerzos verdes, el Dakar está logrando avanzar hacia un cambio de propulsión mucho más rápido que otras categorías motor y también con un sentido pensado en la industria automotriz.

And Helicoprion is technically not a shark... they're closer to ratfishes/chimaeras, although specter's CN name (灵鲨, ghost shark) is also a informal name for Chimaeras (in english tho, the CN term is apparently 银鲛目) and her nun headpiece design does reflect their floppier(??) fin appearance than regular sharks so technically you can say she is both I guess. I'm guessing they just lumped it together because of how she was experimented on by Amaia and friends (because the sharks in her e2 are like Fucked Up) which is cool but also a pity

You can see how modern sharks are all on the left so they're more like distant cousins

My wife and I often do not know where our next meal will come from. We have no access to proper medical care. It pains me to say that I am living the worst days of my life. It’s one nightmare after another. There is no life here and I fear I will die if I can’t leave. I lost my home, my law firm, and everything.

Since our safe haven, our "sweet home", was bombed and leveled to the ground, which held all our memories from our childhood and youth.. everything that was beautiful to us was destroyed.
