Rozzi Crane - Creep
youtube
Creep by Radiohead is a darkly beautiful song and very few cover artists do it justice. Rozzi's version pays homage to Radiohead and then catapults the song into the stratosphere. She IS fu**** special.

Simple asks #25!
Ahhh, thank you for the question dear! ヽ(○´∀`)ノ♪
25. What’s a song that gives off good vibes anytime you listen to it?
Well, I have several of these actually, but here's a really good one that I like - Psycho by Rozzi Crane when it comes on I'll usually belt it out and dance around (unless I'm driving lol)!
Thanks again!

This song is so beautiful. It’s a true heart break song, but yet so sweet and raw. She needs to get famous (will highly likely be my only hipster-like discovery)

ROZZI gives new meaning to "breadwinner" (Kacey Musgraves Cover)
ROZZI gives new meaning to “breadwinner” (Kacey Musgraves Cover)
One of my favorite pop recording artist’s Rozzi Crane just made her own rendition of “breadwinner” by Kacey Musgraves — and it blew me (and a few other lucky fan girls) away on Sunday night. (You can see the palpable excitement on my face during that moment in my Instagram reel, below.) https://www.instagram.com/p/CcOzPXepWeR/ Performing as part of an intimate lineup hosted by music + arts…

Exceptional falls short when describing Rozzi’s Joshua Tree, the singer songwriter’s latest single from her just announced debut album Bad Together, to be released later this fall. It’s a song I’ve personally listened to and gushed about many times over since it’s release earlier this month, even though we haven’t been able to wax verbose over its intimate and soulful grace on IHM till now. Rozzi, whose roots lie right here in San Francisco, was discovered by Maroon 5′s Adam Levine when she was only 19. He swiftly signed her as the first artist to his record label, and she toured with the band before she ventured on a new journey of self-discovery. Rozzi’s cherry wine voice is astonishing on Joshua Tree. She’s given us a stripped back gem steeped in aching pining. It’s weathered and worn, rusted and dusty, yet it teems with a gumption for love and life. Though Joshua Tree is mired in the past, and entangled in a deep sorrow, it also soothes the heart, giving us the peace we need to move on.
Rozzi says, "This is the most personal song I've ever written. I wrote it fresh after a break up when I was so consumed with my own feelings that I kind of forgot anyone would ever hear it. I wrote it fully aware of why my ex and I broke up, but still unable to forget the reasons we were together in the first place. It's me trying to figure out what happened. It's part of a story. Think of it this way: if 'Never Over You' is leading us to a bad break up, 'Joshua Tree' is the aftermath. And the rest of the story is coming as well with my album Bad Together." Joshua Tree is available now, here. Keep up with Rozzi via her website, here.
