Something we know about Roz is that she stays true to her programming to never be violent. She won't be violent if you disrupt a task. She'll sooner let herself get scratched and banged up than throw a punch in self-defense. However......

If your interfering with her task endangers those she is protecting, she has no issue making you rather uncomfortable. This seems counter to her making, but it's never out of violence towards the assailant - rather, out of protection towards those who need it.

Same to be said when she needs to do something for the overall good like pulling porcupine quills from your dumb face.

She's a task robot - not a nurse robot. Her bedside manner isn't always great. (We see that she had to LEARN to be gentle with a tiny thing like baby Brightbill.) She WILL manhandle you to do what needs doing and good luck out-muscling her. She can carry a bear on one shoulder.

TL;DR, she's the nicest robot you'll meet but she can be crossed.

More about the wild robot bc I can't get it out of my head but I just appreciate how it explores love in different ways - the unconditional love of a mother, the love forged between friends, the tense, complicated love when it's revealed that things are not what you thought they were

When Roz lets Brightbill go for the first time we also get to see the irony of love, how although a big part of that maternal love is keeping them close, nurturing them, building them up... we see that love is, also letting go. Despite that desire to keep them close, to keep on protecting them, because letting go means you love them enough to know they need to grow and be their own person, that you've done your best, and now it's time to love them by letting go no matter how hard, no matter how much you may miss them

Because even though it's hard, the best part of the love that lets go, is the experience of the love that comes back

Sharing that guide here except re-written so that the really sensitive info isn't included :p since almost everyone co-fronts, these are based on my memory of what the body/brain feels like when we're sharing the headspace.

Adam

Physical Differences: Body stands up straighter and has more confident body language. Voice is deeper and generally more even toned. Seems to have higher pain tolerance than the rest of us for things like standing and walking. Sense of taste is pretty radically different from mine (dislikes sweets, prefers bitter flavors.) Resting bitch face. Mental/Emotional Differences: Thoughts trend towards being meaner/snarkier and a bit more judgemental. Emotions are overall a little bit blunted except for anger. Topics of Interest: Cars (esp sports cars), analog photography, clinical psychology, himself, gossip/shit-talking

Louis

Physical Differences: Has looser, more comfortable/chill body language and posture. Starting to get some overtones of California Surfer Bro accent to his voice. Pretty similar to mine. Has a much stronger spice tolerance than I do and sits somewhere between me and Adam with sweetness preferences. Mental/Emotional Differences: Emotions maintain their usual intensity save for anger which the few times we've experienced genuine anger while Louis's been fronting/co-fronting it's been fucking overwhelming. Usually pretty calm/chilled out (but this might also be because Louis generally prefers to front/co-front when we're really stoned or otherwise mentally/emotionally altered) Topics of Interest: Goth fashion & subculture, drugs/alcohol/smoking, horror movies, horror art, gore kink, fashion, painting, poetry, kink in general, the 1980s and 90s, Vampire the Masquerade (esp re: clan Toreador/Volgirre and fleshcrafting), cinematography & other film stuff, video games

Laurent

Physical Differences: Stiffer and less expressive body language (feels awkward inhabiting a physical body), voice is somewhat lower and even in tone/maybe not particularly emotive? Generally doesn't like sweet things at all, generally lacking in appetite. Mental/Emotional Differences: Blunted emotions but not in the same way as Adam. Tendency to hyper-focus. Some shades of paranoia/anxiety. Making eye contact and looking at people is fucking uncomfortable as hell. Topics of Interest: the occult/paranormal/magic etc., psychology (specifically the neuroscience side of things but clinical is of interest too), science, VtM (Clan Tremere Specifically), astronomy and space, horror fiction, books, history

Laci

Physical Differences: Perky body language. Has a sort of open/confused/shocked resting face? (eyebrows up, eyes wide). Highest voice out of all of us. Apparently has the most "California" speech patterns out of everyone lol. Mental/Emotional Differences: Thoughts tend to be fleeting, disorganized and more manic. Tendency towards feeling vastly different "ages" from moment to moment. Just very much embodies being Bipolar and an age-slider but she leans towards Mania over depression. No psychotic symptoms from mania (that we've noticed but we're also on an anti-psychotic) Topics of Interest: 90s and 2000s alt subculture but esp goth, club/techno/dance music, the occult/magic, psychology (specifically from the perspective of having bipolar disorder), VtM (Malkavians specifically.), web design, food, people watching, photography (digital & collage), gothic lolita, creepy dolls & creepy toys

Morgan

Physical Differences: Stands up straighter, has a more "feminine" way of holding her body. higher voice, heavy accent that I'm 90% sure is from the area of Tennessee my mom used to live in. Mental/Emotional Differences: Emotional disregulation seems more intense*. Morgan used to be the primary Mask I wore when we were still a median system, so it's hard to tell how we're different... Other than Morgan has some pretty intense gender dysphoria now. * this is according to my partner, it's not a difference I notice. Topics of Interest: Country music songs about murdering abusive dads/boyfriends, cooking and baking, fashion (specifically plus size fashion, historical fashion and lingerie), photography (any/all but esp of flowers), Adam, club music, partying, religion, art and poetry, painting, fairy tales

The other three don't front frequently enough/strongly enough to really have clear ideas of what they Feel like. Other than: - Vulpine REFUSES to walk plantigrade - Killian has a soft voice that's a fair bit higher than mine and is really fond of Bastille. - Daffodil feels a lot of dysphoria about being in a "normal" human body (i.e., not a changeling)
