I opened the Twitter app and the first tweet I read is talking about how the actor who played Bull in Night Court died

I'm watching the original Night Court because I tried watching the new Night Court and felt like I was missing some important history. I'm about halfway through season 4 and because I'm impatient, I scrolled forward and read the little blurbs for the episodes of the final season. I didn't learn much except that the cast doesn't change (there was a lot turn over in the first couple seasons.) and that Christine looses her god awful 80s haircut.

Over all the show is really fantastic and I definitely recommend it (its free with ads on amazon prime video and there's a whole 9 seasons of it). Even though its a half hour sitcom format they tackle some really tough topics. They even tackle some lgbtq issues much better than shows in the 90s and early 2000s. The format of these shows is generally "Dan is a homophobic/transphobic jerk but learns a lesson in humanity" but for the most part the other characters treat the lgbtq characters with respect (and some confusion, especially on Bull's part.) There are some jokes especially involving cross dressing, but they are usually more at Dan's expense than than the other person's expense. (For example Dan just hit on a person in a dress and he said, "Hi, my name's Dan." and the person responded, "Hey so is mine!". The Jokes just don't feel as cringe and distasteful as similar jokes in, say, Friends. And it was the 80s so I would be shocked if they didn't have some jokes like that.
