TIL that some Japanese video game companies started implementing a localisation quality assurance department where people would basically compare the original script and the localised one and determine what works and what doesn't. Considering how many times I complain about localisation stuff here, I do find this information... interesting.

Or I don't know, a cowboy banner? Or an unfallen one? Also, it's quite something when one of the best banners (at least imo) is from one of the least popular games lol Apart from Alm, every new heroes were actually new. Sure rearmed Nuibaba was... a choice, but... ah you know what, I'll take it. At least it wasn't Berkut.

Males constantly getting the worst treatment but the best art is getting old MGrima was all I cared about on the last banner just because the art went hard and Folgado is the only unit I care about on the summer banner. If IS doesn't want me to pull that's fine. Dying for a MGrima Fomortis duo now though that art would be incredible but ha male harmonics yeah right

IntSys would rather not have a single female (or gay male) player spend money on this game than pass up on the opportunity to add one more identical female body to a banner lmao. I semi-joked with @hapigairu the other day about how the majority of female characters are either aged down or given a boob job, making them all look the same minus the hair. What's even exciting about the summer banners anymore? After 8 years we've already seen all booba IntSys has to offer. We won't get anything new. A male character on the banner would at least offer some variety.

I mean, you guys keep complaining, but have you considered that last year not only did you have Grail Vaike, demote Clanne and Grail Dedue, but also premium Hrid?? Was that not enough for you? Do you really need more male characters when those banners clearly don't have enough busty women or little girls as it is? No but seriously, like you said, there's basically nothing to look forward to when it comes to summer banners, and, I would argue, to any banners. It's always the same characters, or the same type of characters. You just need to take a quick look at the recent-ish banners to see that; for the seasonal banners, it's 90% women who are sexualised in some way.

Yeahhh, I get that they're popular, but they have their own games. Besides, if you're going to make them demotes, you might as well give the spot to a Valentian character.

Also okay Summer Marla and Hestia would be awful buuut, if we do get an SoV child banner in the far far future, I'd kinda love to have a trio with Marla, Hestia and Sonya so we can see how they were like back when the lived at the priory. At least, it'd be something interesting, you know?

And Palla? Really? The fact that they omitted FE1/3/11/12 during her presentation sequence is almost hilarious.

Gods, the DW finale was terrible on so many levels. It's really unfortunate that Belinda, who started off really strong, was progressively sidelined and literally put in a box for the final episode while other characters (mainly Ruby) got to do stuff. And the whole Poppy storyline just felt icky. It's okay to want to have kids, but Belinda never expresses such desire, instead she always reacts after the fact and takes a passive role most of the time. I have many thoughts on this finale (most of them negative), but I'll need some time to digest all of this nonsense. Overall though, it just felt like fancy special effects and cool scenes took precedence over strong writing. Personally, I couldn't care less about showy explosions and the like, I didn't mind the low budget effects, because what felt so special about Doctor Who were the genuineness and the heart of the characters amongst all the silliness. Ncuti Gatwa deserved better, and I really hope that he'll get to stay as the Doctor a bit more. He was great as is, but with good writing? Oh, he'd be phenomenal, like he deserves to be. Varada Sethu deserved better too, and I look forward to seeing her in other roles. But... yeah, Belinda wasn't the only character who was done dirty. The Rani too had some shoddy writing.
