Okay a character everyone gets wrong in winx club would definitly be... well it's a group of people but I really think people don't really give Wizards of the black circle the credit and recognition they deserve. Maybe it's because they come from season 4 that today more people like to bash but they actually were so interesting as villains. Like to me what makes them stand out is how they don't give a f^ck about the Winx. in the episode where the girls get their believix (still one of my favs) there is a moment where they have total control over the girls and Ogron basically says "don't be afraid they won't do anything to you, all that we want is Roxy". And actually they already told the girls they had nothing against them and well it is actually true. Like Valtor told Bloom he just wanted her to stay out of the way two seconds before making Aisha/Layla blind. Wizards started being really dangerous to the girls when they became an obstacle for them. They don't care about the Winx because they don't care about the Magical Dimension. They have something to do, a mission to complete and it's their goal. They also have one of the most interesting dynamic as a group and I feel people should talk about it more instead of... fangirling over Duman for the part that cares about the wizards. Nothing against him it's just that I feel like he's the least interesting in the group sorry not sorry.

Also Riven and Roy. Really should explain more about Roy. But I think your other questions can help me.

Which ship fans are the most annoying? Oh a though one because I don't really interact with fans of ships I don't like. However I will have to give the palm to some representative of the Rivusa fanbase and I'm sorry for you all Rivusa non-toxic fans who have to deal with such problematic people who think that defending a ship is insulting people. Also sorry to those who are good but I had many problems with some Bloom x put the name of the villain you prefer fans. Like sometimes I just want to talk but they take everything as an insult like when I ask "how did you come to ship Bloom with Valtor?" they see it has "lol how on earth can you be stupid enough to ship her with the guy responsible for her parents' fate". Once again not everyone but these fanbase were my worst experiences.

Bloom is basically me dealing with toxic fans

A character that the fandom made me hate: This time I have to go with Mirta. I never was a fan of Mirta but the way the fandom praises her made me feel so out of it that everytime I rewatched season one, I was trying to understand why fans loved her so much and the more I was rewatching, the more I hated this poor Mirta. Today i won't say I hate her because I feel like she had a pretty decent arc and a character that is good for a supportive character (not for a permanent member PLEASE DON'T) and she's cute but for a time I really couldn't stand her face because I felt like she was so overrated by the fandom it made her dislikable.

Worst part of canon: I would say the fact that instead of being very clear when they decided to do their soft reboot in season 5n they chose to do things without being clear enough. Plus they kept things from past seasons but with the new timeline it makes no sense and gives so many plot holes. Even if I kinda like season 5, this soft reboot is still the worst part of canon for me. Plus and this is unpopular as hell, Nabu and Layla's love story. I'm sorry to you fans of this ship who love to say it's the best love story of the franchise but I never was able to buy it. It came definitly out of nowhere, still is a part that annoys me in season 3 and was forced and way too fast. If they had introduced Nabu sooner in season 3 or made them meet the group sooner maybe that impression I had of being forced something in my throat wouldn't have been there but it's here.

Obviously I also have to give Rivusa a palm but I would say the worst part of their story is THE FACT THAT THEY GOT BACK TOGETHER IN SEASON 4. They both finally had grow up and were mature enough to realise that they weren't good for each other. But instead of accepting it... well they got back together.

Worst part of fanon: The way some people can't stop fighting for their headcanons against other people. Like we all have the right to have our headcanons it doesn't mean we should fight. For example I have the headcanon that Timmy and Tecna are an asexual couple and it goes against many of my friends headcanon that Tecna is aroace. I will never fight with them about it because it's an headcanon. Just respect your neighbour and let him ship Driven without pissing him off for no reason.

It's absolutely criminal that the fandom has been sleeping on Roy. This guy isn't bland and without a personality like some of his haters may say. He's a sweet guy who never liked a girl before and falls in love with his princess who is also dealing with grief and he's respectful enough to not want to piss her off or be too much. If he got along with the girls and the guys even if this season and season 6 criminally lack of Specialist's friendship moments, it's because he's a sunny guy with a great humor and a personality that goes along with people. He's an extrovert who loves to go and talk with people discovering what interests them and who loves to try new things. And this is absolutely not in my headcanons that are really numerous for him, all of this is shown in the show when he's here and people should stop hating on him just because he appeared after Nabu's death. Plus this reason to hate him is also unfair considering he has nothing to do with the writers decision to kill Nabu in season 4 (unpopular opinion: they were right to do this).

Part of canon you think is overhyped: Season 3 and Enchantix. Don't get me wrong, the concept and execution of Enchantix was great and I loved it, it's definitly one of the best transformations in Winx Club. But it also has problematic parts that are for me the way Tecna, Stella, Musa and Layla have clothes that are way too over-sexualising them.And I say that with Stella's enchantix being my favourite transformation for her. An yes I know every transformation has this problem at least once but the thing is that here, it's on almost everyone and it's so obvious. People keep saying it's the most incredible transformation and the "only one where they look like fairies" as if weknew what fairies look like. My fairies are Tinkerbell and her friends and Enchantix doesn't look like them. But WHATEVER. It's a good transformation, definitly has the best way to be earned but is that a crime when someone says it's not their favourite? No and we shouldn't see so many comments saying "if his/her favourite transformation isn't Enchantix...." on youtube rankings of the transformations.

But it's also relevant for season 3. The thing is that season 3 is good but wants to do too much at the same time and loses its own timeline. The first part of the season varies from episodes were everything happens at the same time and others where the plot installs itself. Which leads to the second part of the season where everything goes downhill with many boring episodes and a rushed and deceiving ending. I don't get why people praise it so much because objectively it's not better than seasons 1 and 2 and subjectively not than season 4 in my opinion. It looks like the season was being written episode by episode and suddenly they realised they had ten episodes to conclude the season and started doing WTF and rushed endings of arcs. Plus I don't like the Water Stars scenaristic facility. Sorry not sorry.

Let's be honest, if she had the choice, Tecna wouldn't wear it because it's absolutely not practical. And I also dislike how they decided her hair was too short. Magix Winx, Believix and later seasons transformations except Harmonix showed you could do a transformation with her hair not changing from the rest of the season.

Your favourite part of canon that everybody else ignores: For once I'm not gonna go with easy choices like season 4, Wizards of the Black circle or Roy. I'm gonna go with a plot point everybody keep forgetting and that is: Darcy is a fucking romantic girl. Did she chose power over her boyfriend? Yes but it doesn't mean she's not a romantic person. In season 1, the way she falls for Riven everytime she sees him shows how she wants to build something with him. In season 2 she mentions at the start of the first or second episode that she sometimes thinks of a simple life when she was watching that in love couple (it was a movie I think) and her sisters KNOW she is romantic because they keep laughing at her about it. I'm really sad they decided to forget about that later because it made her character more complete. She's kind of a bitch who dreams of power but she also has a soft heart beating for romantic comedies and who sometimes allows itself (the heart) to dream of a romance. With Riven of course.

Ship you'v unwillingly come around to: There are many but I would still say that the one I wish I never saw is Faragonda x Bloom. How gross it is to imagine the influence this woman has on Bloom since she's sixteen turning into a gross love story? I want to forget it. I do ship Bloom with people and considering the only canon Winx pairings I like in the original group are Brandon/Stella and Tecna/Timmy (Flora/Helia is fine but I prefer her with someone who wakes her baddie and flirty side like Anagan for example or Layla). Bloom to me would fit SO WELL with Nabu. Like he is the soft guy who understands her but also the one who's not afraid to tell her she fucked up and who would treat her right and not let her insecurities win because that's what Sky does by NEVER putting a term to Diaspro's fantasy. But this is mostly linked to the writers loving to torture Bloom and Diaspro.

And this is both Bloom after she finally found peace in a relationship and me after finishing to answer these questions by talking WAY too much!

Stella woke up on election morning with hundreds of texts bombarding her phone.

"Fuck." She muttered, scrolling through.

Kendall had posted one of the pictures they took the night before. They were sitting on his fancy, all white couch in the penthouse, his arm around her. His gaze was on her as she looked into the camera. Obviously, they looked great, but she was still upset about the night before and how Kendall treated Matsson. Of course he had no idea that Lukas had harassed her all night, but still. He had run off with Ebba earlier in the night and she was definitely not thrilled about that either.

Kendall had texted her too, and though she was mad, the silent treatment wasn't really Stella's thing.

She caved and called him, sitting up in bed. It was definitely past ten, but she didn't have much work as it was Election Day.

"I was getting worried." Ken chuckled on the other side of the phone. "What happened last night?  Did you like my insta post?"

"Yeah, yeah, I did. Sorry. It was just a lot—"

"Understandable." He smiled. "Did you have a good time, though? I thought the party was pretty lit."

Stella cracked a smile. He was always trying to be hip with her but was always a few years behind on the lingo. "It was super lit."

He was quiet for a second. "Uh, I don't wanna be that guy, but Shiv told me she saw you with Matsson."

"Oh."

"Like, I get it. But—"

"You have nothing to worry about, Ken. Seriously." Her voice cracked a little, the memories of the night before flooding her brain. If Shiv didn't separate them, what would have happened? Not that she would have cheated—definitely not. But Matsson had gotten awfully drunk and awfully close to her. "He kind of...um, he kind of harassed me."

"What?"

"It's not a big deal. He just, kind of like, I don't know. He was weird."

"Are you fucking kidding me?"

She sighed. "I wish."

"Fuck." Kendall half-yelled. He had never been loud with her before. "I'm gonna fucking kill him."

"It's okay, really. He was drunk and just wanted to fuck with you." She pleaded. "I'm a big girl, I handled it."

He was quiet on the other line, clearly plotting his next moves. "Okay."

"I'm yours, Ken. Please don't worry."

"I know."

She remembered Kendall following Ebba to the balcony. If he got to question her, she was certainly going to question him. "Um, I don't wanna be that girl, but I saw you with Ebba."

Kendall sighed. "Business shit. I was fucking with Lukas."

"Ah."

"Trust me, you were the, uh, hottest girl there last night. Not that it was hard. But still. I'm kinda not surprised Lukas was trying to fuck you."

"Oh God Ken." She rolled her eyes.

"I know you're rolling your eyes, pretty girl."

"Fuck off."

"Speaking of," his voice softened, "Dad's funeral.  Uh, I know it's like, a funeral and shit, but my Mom's going...and Rava and the kids..."

"Oh, um, okay."  Stella could definitely handle his mother, but it was the ex-wife and kids that really made her nervous.  Sure, his daughter was a fan and she'd seen her on FaceTime with Kendall, but that was about it.  They hadn't found a good time for Stella and his kids to meet because of Logan's death.  He didn't see them that much anyway.

"Soph's excited to meet you."

"Okay, good."  Stella felt a little bit better.  "How does um, Rava feel?"

"Honestly, I don't know.  Things have been pretty fucking tense."

"I'm sorry, Ken."

"Sophie got like, fucking, I don't know...pushed or something."

"Pushed?"

"Some Mencken guy on the street.  Rava told me."  

"What the fuck is wrong with people?"  

"I don't know."

"Ken...if you have any say in this tonight..."  she trailed off.  "Do the right fucking thing."

He picked up on the first ring.  "Where the fuck have you been?"

"Tell me it's not true."  She breathed, looking at the tv in front of her.

"JERYD MENCKEN WINS ELECTION" blared on the screen, burning into her irises.

"What?"  He said, but they both knew what she was talking about.

Stella paused, tears pricking her eyes.  This could not be happening.  "Kendall."  She was almost pleading with him...hell, she was pleading with him.  "Please."

"He's gonna block the deal for us, I had to—"

"How could you call it?  How could you do this without the ballots in Milwaukee?  And the—"

"It wasn't my decision."

"What about your daughter, Kendall?"  She spat at him through the phone.

"What about my daughter, Stella?"  He fired right back at her.

"You told me she got fucking pushed, Ken!  Not everything is about the fucking deal!  Don't you care about her?"

"You don't know a fucking thing about my kids.  You're a kid.  Fucking suck it up."

"Mencken is a fascist and you know it.  He's a racist homophobe who's going to destroy the country and you let him walk all over you."

"Stella."  He warned.

"My brother and his husband were just starting to feel accepted in their new neighborhood."  She whispered.  "How could you do this?"

"Jimenez wouldn't help us.  We had to make a difficult choice."

Stella audibly gasped.  "A choice?  The fate of the country is a choice?"

"Stella—"

"No, no, I...I can't."  She cried.  "This is all a game to you.  The election, the tailgate party...it's all a fucking game."

"This, this, is fucking politics, Stella."  He scolded her.  "And it's not going to fucking effect you."

"Not going to effect me?  Are you hearing yourself?"  She knew it was in him to be this way, but Kendall had never showed this side of himself to her.  He was callous and cold and cared about himself more than others.  "I didn't grow up like you, Ken.  I have fucking car loans."

He laughed.  He actually laughed.  "I'll pay your fucking loans, Stella girl."

"You...you can't just 'Stella girl' me and expect everything to be okay."  She stuttered.  "You failed your kids tonight.  You failed the fucking United States of America."

"Fuck you."

"No.  Fuck you."  Tears ran down Stella's face.  Was this it?  Was their relationship--their love--going to end over politics?  It just seemed so tacky to her.  She sunk to the ground, sitting on the cold wooden floor.  They sat in silence, neither of them sure how to finish the conversation.  Stella heard Kendall sniffle from the other side of the phone.

"I'm sorry.  You're right.  But I had to do it.  Shiv's working with Matsson and I can't let them win.  I-I'm sorry."

She stifled a sob.  "I know."

"Are you still gonna come to the funeral?"

It pained her to know that Kendall thought she would flake on him.  

"Of course, Ken."

"Are we good then?  Like, are we uh, still good?"

"Um...I don't, I don't know."

"Okay."

"Yeah."

"Well...I'll uh, see you tomorrow, and uh, I...I fucking love you, okay?"

Stella breathed.  Tears were flying.  Never did she think this would be her life.

"I love you too."

The next morning, Stella's doorbell rung.  It was barely light out and the funeral wasn't until the afternoon.  

She opened the door to find a man carrying a dress bag.

"Miss Allen?"  

"Oh.  Great."  Stella mumbled sarcastically, taking the bag.  Of course Kendall sent her something to wear.  Even on the day of his father's funeral, he was still sending her signals, telling her that she was his.  

Putting on the dress and looking at herself in the mirror, Stella felt good.  Way too good for a funeral.  The dress was definitely too short and the black Gucci tights were definitely too sexy, but what was she going to do, not wear it? 

As she left the apartment building to get on the subway, a car was already waiting for her outside.  She recognized Fikret right away, rolling her eyes and getting into the black SUV.  

I told you to stop sending me things.

Stella groaned.  Little did he know she was going to the protest after the funeral.

Twenty minutes later, the car stopped at a giant cathedral.  Paparazzi were swarming everywhere.  

"Fuck, fuck, fuck."  She muttered, stepping out of the car.  Twitter was going to explode about her outfit.  It truly was a 'Fuck Logan Roy' dress.

Cameras rushed her, but they couldn't get too close because of the heavy security detail.  Stella walked into the Cathedral behind some other, expensive-looking people.  The last funeral she had been to was her father's, where she gave the eulogy.  It was good, obviously, she was an actress, after all.  

Kendall rushed to Stella the second he saw her walk in.  She secretly wished he didn't look so good in his navy suit.  

"How was it out there?"  He leaned in to hug her.  It lasted a little too long.

"Oh, the protest?"

He nodded.  

"I think they left."  She shrugged, knowing he was going to be pissed that she was attending the protest after the funeral.

"Uh, good.  I was worried about you."

"You don't need to worry."  She put her hands on his arms, rubbing down slowly.  It really wasn't appropriate--she was supposed to be mad at him.  

He leaned into her touch.  "Thank you for coming, Stell."

"Of course."

Kendall checked her out as subtle as he could.  "I knew that dress would be perfect on you."

"Little inappropriate for a funeral, though, don't you think?"  She smirked.  Hopefully Logan was grimacing in his coffin at Kendall being with her.

"Exactly."  He said, staring her down.

"O-okay lover boy."  She pushed him away, but before she could get far, an old woman with a pixie cut appeared out of nowhere.  

"Now Kendall, who is this?"  She spoke with a distinguished British accent.  Stella's heart sank.  The woman standing in front of her was definitley Kendall's mother.

"Oh, uh, mom, this is Stella."

Caroline's face curved into a sideways smile as she looked Stella up and down.  "Oh my.  Aren't you something?"

Stella smiled nervously.  She knew Ken's mom was a fake bitch.  "Hi."

"By God, Kenny, you're turning into your father."  Caroline laughed.  "Dear," she looked to Stella, "How old are you?"

She started to speak before Kendall interrupted.  "Thanks, Mom, great job.  Awesome."

"Ah, Kendall I'm just joking.  She's beautiful."  Stella noticed that Caroline didn't even address her.  

"Uh, thanks."  He answered for her.  Stella mentally rolled her eyes.  Everyone treated her like a child at these kinds of things, even Kendall.

"Now I just hope you don't end up like your sister...the poor thing."

Caroline must've noticed the confused look on Stella's face.  Did Shiv finally tell everyone she was pregnant?

"Oh, dear, you don't have to worry about that."  She looked at Stella's stomach.  "Not with Kendall, anyway."

Stella's heart dropped.  "I'm sorry?"

"Mom."  Kendall said sternly.  He looked pissed.  "Stop."

Stella didn't know what to say.  She was prepared for a few weird comments from Caroline, but that...that was not something she was expecting.  She looked to Kendall, but for the first time in their relationship, he couldn't meet her gaze.  Embarrassment reddened across his cheeks.

Before anyone could say anything else, Shiv grabbed Kendall's shoulder.  "Hey, it's time."

He nodded, pushing past Caroline and Stella without saying goodbye.

"Well I guess I should find Kerry."  Caroline smiled, walking away like she hadn't just dropped a bomb on Stella's life.  

On her way to get her seat, Stella made unfortunate eye contact with Lukas, who winked.  Things could not get any worse.  As she sat down in a random pew, Stella's mind raced.  Kendall had always insisted on using condoms.  And he had kids, right?  Sure, Sophie was adopted, but Iverson looked just like his parents.  Stella realized she hadn't even seen the kids at the funeral.  What was going on?

    That string of texts was the reason Dewey Finn found himself in his car, on his way to a dive bar, at 03:47. Y/N had tried to get him to come that night with her and her friend, Stella, but he told her he was working on music which was half true. He did need to write some songs for the kids, but he mostly tried to avoid the bar because he didn’t want to be there when she inevitably went home with another random guy. As long as she was safe he was happy but it made him incredibly jealous and he didn’t feel like stewing at the bar all night, so he said he wouldn’t go. He hadn’t heard from Y/N at all up until he got those texts; he didn’t need to see her to know that this was probably the drunkest she’s ever been. She was always kind of a lightweight and even at her drunkest she was (for the most part) aware of her surroundings, but these texts made absolutely no sense. He was afraid someone would pick her up and just leave with her because she wouldn’t be able to defend herself or even say no.

    When he pulled up to the Roadhouse it was still pretty packed, which wasn’t all that shocking for a Friday night. He arrived at the nick of time— someone was leaving. He immediately took their spot which, luckily, was right next to the door. He ran inside and started searching for Y/N, praying she was still there.

    Calling out “Y/N!” elicited no response, but once Dewey finally found her it became clear that he got no response because she most likely didn't even know her own name. She was flopping around the bar, babbling nonsense to random people. Some humored her for a bit, while others ignored her; Dewey was just glad nobody had tried to take her home.

    He gently reached out for her hand, and she almost toppled over after attempting to turn around. Y/N collapsed into his arms and looked up at him with a crooked smile, “Plleased to meeetcha!” Even blackout drunk, he thought she looked radiant.

    “Come on, Y/N, we’re going home, okay?” He tries to lead her towards the door, but she messily snatched her hand away.

    “‘M nOT going home with a sTRANGER!”

    People started glancing over at him, and he began to panic; the last thing he needed was to get arrested while on his obligatory best friend wellness check, “Hey, hey, hey! It’s me okay, it’s Dewey.” Her face remained blank, she knew nothing but booze. “Dewdrop? Y/N, I promise I’m not kidnapping you, I’m just gonna put you to bed."

    The word ‘bed’ seemed to help Y/N register what was happening, and she threw her arms up in triumph. “M geTIN LAID!” she cheered, which earned her confused looks from anyone within a seven foot radius. Maybe she didn’t register what was happening after all. Either way, it was enough to make her go with him willingly.

    If anyone else had been working that night there is no way in hell Dewey would’ve been able to leave with her in that state, but their favorite bartender, Kara, was on and she knew that the pair were best buds. Dewey locked eyes with her to confirm that he was taking Y/N home. Kara just shook her head, shouted “good luck!” over the bar, and turned back to the customer she’d been talking to.

    Dewey helped Y/N throw an arm around him so they could walk to his car, but they only made it about twenty feet before it became painfully clear that she couldn’t make it that far. He scooped her up and walked outside; she, all the while, was babbling about something Dewey couldn’t decipher. Her speech was so slurred at this point he wasn’t even sure there were actual words coming out of her mouth.

    He gently laid her in the backseat and buckled her in as best he could. She’d started nodding off at this point, which was probably for the best. It worried him slightly because he wouldn’t be able to check if she was breathing for the whole ride home, but he laid her on her side and hoped that would be enough.

    It was only a short ride to his apartment and, in that time, all he could do was pray she didn’t vomit until they made it inside. He lived on the third floor and knew there was no way in hell Y/N was making it up the stairs, even with help, so he had no choice but to carry her again. It was difficult to maneuver the narrow hallway and, while she didn’t feel all that heavy to him, he’d definitely gotten his workout for the next month out of the way.

    He stumbled through the door, almost dropping Y/N in the process. He quickly got her upright, and before either of them had time to register what was happening, she’d vomited all over her dress and the floor.

    Fuck. Fuckfuckfuckfuckfuck. Dewey really wanted to keep her in her clothes; they were best friends and she’d seen him in his underwear loads of times but this was different. Dewey gently sat her down on the ground before running into his room to rummage through his drawers and find a pair of pajama pants and an old shirt.

    When he made it back to the kitchen, Y/N was passed out on the floor, and she’d thrown up again from the looks of it. He closed his eyes, let out a breath he didn’t know he’d been holding, and made his way over to her. Once he was sure she was still breathing, he tried to slip the dress off as gently as possible. It wasn’t too difficult to do, and once it was entirely off he was grateful she chose to wear that leather dress that always made his heart stop; as disgusting as it sounded, her vomit wasn’t able to seep through the fabric so her bra and panties remained clean. He felt much better about helping her change now, and it was only a matter of time before she donned Dewey’s slightly too big clothes.

    He cleaned the mess, ran over her face with a wet rag to get any remaining vomit off, and sat on the floor with her for a moment to gather his thoughts. She looked so peaceful. He ran a hand through her hair and smiled to himself. 

    Dewey had loved her for a while, and he’d always wanted to tell her how he felt, but things just weren’t that simple. What they had going was good, he couldn’t let his feelings get in the way. He’d resorted to pining from afar and supporting her romantic endeavors endlessly, no matter how much it hurt.

    “Nngh…” she mumbled a bit in her sleep, before her eyes slowly opened. “Don’t feel good. Doooooo not.”

    “Are you gonna be sick again?”

    “Mmmmm…. I dunno.”

    'I dunno' was not a good enough answer for Dewey to consciously let her sleep in his bed. Even with a bucket next to her, there was no guarantee her aim would be spot on, and he didn’t want to take the chance. Cleaning your best friend's vomit off tile flooring was one thing, but cleaning a vomit soaked carpet was another thing; even Dewey Finn has limits.

    He helped lead her to the bathroom and sat her next to the toilet, silently thanking whatever deity had given him the motivation to clean his bathroom that afternoon. Upon sitting down again, she immediately vomited, and all Dewey could do was sit behind her, hold her hair, and wish he could make her feel better.

    After about an hour she’d finally stopped being sick, and an hour after that it was almost 08:00 and he could feel drowsiness overtaking him. She’d been asleep on his chest for quite some time and he hated moving her because he knew he’d never get this opportunity again. He bunched up a clean towel and put it on the floor for her to use as a pillow before leaving the bathroom. In an ideal world, he would’ve stayed with her but his bathroom room was far too small for that.

    Then again, in an ideal world they’d be together.

    He laid in bed for about ten minutes before he decided he’d feel better if he was closer to her in case she needed anything. He took a pillow and blanket, and laid himself down on the floor right outside the bathroom door and let the sound of Y/N's soft snoring lull him to sleep.

    When Y/N woke up, her eyes were practically glued together with a layer of crust and makeup from the night before. Her head was pounding, and the first thing she did once her eyes were fully open is stick her head right back in the toilet and vomit. Once she's convinced there’s nothing more to puke up she disregarded any logic or sense of cleanliness and pressed her head against the cool toilet seat. It’s only then that the fog clears— just slightly, but enough for her to register where she is. She recognized the unusual, mismatched tiling on the floor to be Dewey’s, but had absolutely no idea how she ended up on the floor of his bathroom. He wasn’t even at the Roadhouse last night.

    She wracks her brain for what could have possibly happened the night before but her mind is entirely blank. She remembered leaving her apartment, taking two shots, and then the rest of the night is a blur. How did she get to Dewey’s place? Did Stella drop her off? She noticed her phone sitting on the counter and shakily reached for it, hoping it could give her some answers. It was 14:37, and the only notification she had was an unanswered text from Stella, who asked where the hell she went last night. Evidently, she hadn't dropped Y/N off at Dewey's place. She quickly responded with “i’m fine, lyk later. puking” before checking her conversation with Dewey. 

    She couldn’t decipher a single text message she sent him, and from the looks of it, he’d been in the same boat. All she was able to gather is that she trying to reach Brianna; it wasn’t until she reached the jumbled message reading "il ove dwey som mocuh” that she realized what she’d done. This brought on a whole new wave of nausea and she quickly found herself, again, retching into the toilet. 

    She decided then and there she needed to leave as soon as she could. She was still a bit drunk so driving was definitely out of the question (she didn’t even know where the hell her car was), but she didn’t live too far and assuming she could stand up she just might be able to walk back home without Dewey ever knowing. She’d leave him a note. Using the edge of the bathtub for support, she shakily stood up. It took a while, and the nausea came back and slapped her in the face as soon as she did, but she remained standing without vomiting for a few moments. Y/N decided it would be okay to try to leave. She made a break for it and opened the door as carefully as she could hoping that Dewey wouldn’t hear it when all of a sudden-

    “Ow!”

    Y/N froze. Looking down from the crack in the door, she could see the top of Dewey’s head— he had been right outside the door all night. If her situation hadn’t been such shit, she’d have found it endearing, but right now all she was worried about was their inevitable confrontation and the potential concussion she just gave him. She slammed the door shut.

    “Uh, I’m out of the way now if you wanna come out...” She wanted nothing more than to remain hidden in the bathroom but he knew she was awake, and there was nothing to do now but go out and face him. 

    Once the door was open, she finally got a good look at him. His hair is sticking out in more directions than she can count and the bags under his eyes are dark. Y/N can only imagine what he went through last night trying to get her here. He was wearing his favorite AC/DC shirt and sweats, which clued her into the fact that she wasn't wearing the dress you left home in last night. She fiddled with the fabric at the hem of the shirt before looking up at him “Dewey, did we-?” 

    She didn’t want to imply anything, but she had no other logical explanation for where her clothes could have gone. Her voice sounds gravelly and her throat feels like sandpaper but that’s something he’ll just have to get past. 

    Dewey's eyes widened in panic, and he ran a hand through his hair “No, no! God, no!” He nodded towards a plastic grocery bag tied up by the door, “You didn’t even know who I was when I picked you up, I would never… I was just gonna let you sleep it off in my bed but when we got here you threw up all over yourself. I-I didn’t see anything, I promise. I just couldn’t let you sit in your own puke all night… sorry.”

    “No, oh my God, Dewey, don’t apologize!” Y/N felt awful, she must have put him through hell last night. Sure, he was her best friend, but that went far beyond what she’d ever have expected him to do for her, “I’m so sorry you were stuck dealing with me last night, you can literally pick the movie for every movie night we have ever again. I’ll help you clean up once my headache dies down a little.”

    He smiled a little bit, “There’s nothing to clean up, it’s okay. You should eat.”

    “I’m not hungry.”

    “I know, but you should still eat,” he made his way towards the fridge and took out a carton of orange juice, “You can have some of this and I’ll make you toast. I’ll make you more food if you’re hungry later but for now we should see if you can even keep that down.”

    “Yeah,” she mumbled. “Thanks.”

    As he’s getting the glasses for their orange juice, she felt her panic start to rise. She knew they needed to talk about the text, but he hadn’t brought it up.

    The silence is deafening, and it all but consumes Y/N as she watches the orange juice fill the glass, and before she knows it, there’s toast in front of her. She knew she wouldn’t be able to even consider eating without vomiting until she got this over with. “ImsorryIdrunktextedyou.”

    “’s okay,” he mumbled between bites of toast, “You could barely function as a human being, I didn’t really take anything you said to heart. I’m not entirely convinced you knew who I was. ‘M just glad you’re okay.” Dewey smiles up at her, eyes twinkling, and her heart melts.

    “Dewey, I-”

    “Y/N, I’m not kidding. Don’t beat yourself up about it. You’re my best friend, I promise I didn’t take any of it seriously.” Dewey could all but hear his heart shatter, and he just prayed she couldn’t hear it too.

    She bit her lip. Jesus fuck, she just wanted him to understand without having to say it out loud. “I um… I know you don’t think I knew what I was saying and uh... for the most part I didn’t, but that text, um, t-the text was um. I feel like that when I’m sober too.” 

    Y/N struggled getting her words out, and although she knew Dewey was trying his hardest to keep his reaction hidden, his nostrils flared. He never notices he’s doing it but she always did— it's a nervous tick of his. Normally it’s really cute, but right now it just made her want to curl up in a ball and never face him again. "N-Nothing has to change, it’s just… I don’t know. Fuck!” 

    With a loud groan, her head was in her hands, blocking out the light (and Dewey), “I just. Don’t want to lose you as a friend.”

    No response.

    “D-Dewey? Are you gonna say something?”

    “I-” he faltered and she prepared herself for the worst. “How long have you felt this way?”

    “What?”

“Howlonghaveyoubeeninlovewithme?”

    “O-Oh, uh… a year. M-Maybe longer.” Y/N finally looked up at him and he was just staring at her, mouth slightly agape and eyes wide. She scooted herself away from the counter and mumbles a quick “thanks for taking care of me last night” before making her second break for the door.

    She only got halfway through the kitchen before she was whipped around and found herself in Dewey’s arms. Shit. He was practically crushing her, and she genuinely couldn't tell if everything felt more intense because she was so hungover or if he was really using that much force. It was probably a bit of both.

    “I love you too,” he mumbled into her hair. 

    Wait. What? 

    “Fuck, Y/N, I’ve loved you for so long and I thought I didn’t stand a chance. And then I got that text and I just— Jesus, when I got to the Roadhouse and saw how trashed you were I didn’t think there was any way you could’ve known what you were saying but… you mean it?”

    She inhaled deeply, forehead still pressed into his chest, “Of course I do, you doofus. How could I not?”

    He squeezed her just a little bit tighter before placing the gentlest of kisses on the top of her head, “I’m really glad you got drunk last night.”

    She laughed quietly, a short huff of air out of her nose that warmed Dewey’s chest through his shirt, “Me too."

Bloom:

I've begun my "I don't care for Bloom/Sky" era except I love Sky unlike most people who believe this. He's literally a wet cat of a man. Bloom's and Sky's relationship is based on Bloom wanting the prince charming of her dreams, and Sky wanting to be normal by being with someone nomral. Both of these things are very much not true and are pretty unrealistic of them.

Brandon is the only one of the guys that would be able to roll with the insane shit that Bloom is ALWAYS caught up in without missing a beat. That's it, that's the only reason. No hesitation, no surprise, simple acceptance.

Why? Helia is the only person Brandon has ever considered a threat to his relationship, and I think that's funny as hell. Helia's commitment to the bit and acting utterly insane (see: holding off a monster only for Flora and letting the other Winx die ig, throwing someone through a table) would match Stella's ultra dramatic energy perfectly. Stella starts a bit and Helia acts like it's her last dying will and testament. Also, Helia seems to not trust himself as a part of a team (esp in the comics) and Stella's Stella ness would drag him out to hang out with everyone more often in s2 helping with that. On the other side Helia would barely care about Stella's looks, like they'd probably dating after Stella drops her "cute blonde ditz" mask, so he'd inform her of how much he likes her real personality so often

Stella/Timmy

I think it would be cute. Stella keeps him in her purse and she thinks he's so adorable. Timmy is being lavished with attention and he will try his best to let Stella know she's the best person he's ever met

Flora:

I genuinely forget that in canon Flora and Helia are supposed to be together. Mirta my beloved disaster lesbian

Flora/Riven

I have too many shippers of these two following me to not see the appeal. I have read the essays and I am convinced they could be EXTREMELY cute. Riven helps Flora be more assertive and not exclusively do things for others, and Flora helps Riven connect with his emotions and other people. Adorable

Tecna:

I don't ship Tecna's aroace ass with Timmy in the first place, or anyone for that matter so this is gonna be difficult

Tecna/Nabu

She'd eat everyone alive. He's the only non Timmy person who'd survive

Musa:

Despite Rivusa being my otp, breaking it up is a lesser crime than breaking up Brella who are soulmates. You still will not be forgiven for your transgressions /joke

Combining the two posts talking about ships and the new timeline. Mostly just wanted start by staying I love rarepairs and wanted to change the order of villains and fairy forms.

Backstory: The ancestral witches messed with the entire magical balance by attacking the Dragon, several planets are on the verge of destruction and the rest of the planets are putting all current resources into maintaining them. Daphne sent Bloom through the magix dimension instead of the solar system which resulted in time distortion. Winx Club is an abandoned club between all eight schools for camaraderie, the meeting room is the only room magically connected to all other schools.

Season 1:

Bloom is discovered by Stella same as canon but when brought to Alfea, and explained Faragonda is nervous whether Bloom is tied to Terra or another off-balance planet. Explains that because of the missing past and link that it’s best they keep Bloom’s origin a secret. 

The party is hijacked and Bloom’s secret comes out so the group joins the Winx Club to help tie their relationship tighter: Bloom, Stella, Flora, Techna, Musa, Aisha, Sky, Brandon, Timmy, Helia, Riven, Thoren, Nex, Roy, Mirta, Diaspro, (Chimera, Roxy, Daphne, Nabu later seasons). 

Instead of each new aspect + pet coming each seasons we have them mentioned here but not relevant until later in their respective seasons. 

Explain all the fairy forms and how one version is more useful depending either on the fairy aspect or the planet that is their guardian planet. (ex: Sirenix is good for water based fairies or water based planets).

Introduce all of the new schools + planets (maybe not this season but one per season or a cameo in season one and expanded in later seasons). 

Explain what a nymph is and the difference between a normal fairy. 

Introduce multiple magic creatures (creation myth for the planets etc etc) alongside the great dragon. 

Main plot of Trix trying to find and capture the Dragon Flame, discover that Bloom has it, army of darkness, etc. 

The crushes that start is Bloom x Diaspro, Mirta x Techna. 

Season 2: 

Fairy animals are now the main plot, similar of evil boss wanting to use the magic to unlock specific types of powers, miniworlds are cut out, everyone gets a fairy animal (name undetermined), and charmix is discussed at earlier point in season. 

Trix have been sent to Lightrock but attempt to escape constantly before faking the therapy working, but it did affect Stormy, who now attempts to prove to herself that she is evil to a harder degree. 

Different type of wildlands with strange issues, upside down mountains, no magic, too much magic, etc, every arc is at a different wildland focusing on one or two fairy animals. 

The wildlands end up with Stella and Aisha developing crushes and then at the after party for defeating BBEG, they confess to each other.  

Season 3:

Darkar attacks the pixies and tries to use an artifact to open the dimension and go into the solar system, since he was banished into the dimension. 

Mythix is the form focused, using stories and myths of pixies and the creation of the dimension to gain power. 

If Darkar opens the solar system, the dimension will shatter and die completely. 

Trix join him, and flees before the Winx can capture them. 

Romance Plot of Aisha being told of engagement and Stella and her come out about the relationship, at first the parents believe they’re lying to protect Aisha but they realize that they are in love, call off engagement. 

Nabu shows up to see why the engagement was called off, and joins the group at this point, him and Riven start a mutual crush. 

Palladium x Avalon. 

Season 4: 

Tritannus attacks the infinite ocean, power from the ties between infinite ocean and other planets. 

Trix joins him, but he does go insane via the magic and attacks the Trix several times, almost killing Stormy which pushes her into actually wanting to change herself and runs from the Trix to Lightrock. 

Romance of King Radius and Cassandra, Stella helps romance this time, and her and Chimera bond over the issues of the infinite ocean. 

Sky develops crush on Chimera.

Daphne is rescued and crush on Nereus. 

Season 5: 

The magic between the infinite ocean and terra’s connection (pillar? Tether? etc), restarts the magic of Terra, letting the frozen time bubble on the dark circle wizards pop, and start the hunt for the last Terra fairy, who they think is the infant princess of the limbo’d fairies in Tir Na Nog, who spent centuries healing their wings. 

Believix is the fairy form focused on Terra magic, still the wings of (maybe?): speedix (speed enhancement), Zoomix (teletransportation), Tracix (time traveling), Lovix: Gift of Heart, Sophix: Gift of Wisdom

Nex develops crush on Roxy. 

Nabu doesn’t die from the wizards but instead falls into a coma and Riven takes him to his home for healing.  

Season 6: 

Selina discovers her witch magic, becomes obsessive with cursed book, attends Cloudtower. 

Icy and Darcy reenter the school with fake identities and replaces Stormy with Selina to make a new Witches Trio. 

Takes over the school and almost kills Griffin which gets them sent to Omega Dimension. 

Fairy Form Focus is Enchantix, now about being a guardian fairy. At this point is the highest form. 

Riven returns a few episodes in, and mentions Nabu healing and recovering and prob several mentions and hints. 

Season 7: 

Valtor’s new backstory, Trix find him at Omega, wakes him up and he attempts to steal magic of planets, and stars in the solar system. 

Fairy Form Focus is Winx, basically redid Bloomix, dragon flame magic. New highest form.

Ranking Winx Canon Couples

I’ve already done this here but I hadn’t watched everything back then so I have decided to redo my classification now that I have all the information. I will be ranking this from best to worst. I wasn’t going to go in-depth with this but my hand slipped and it got long so... under the cut:

1. Stella x Brandon

This is the ship that I have shipped ever since I first started watching the show and it still holds its ground. The two are just so made for each other that it is unthinkable to imagine they wouldn’t be together (thanks, Fate). Despite that and how obviously they click together from the very start, they have things to go through and they go through them as a couple (I am looking at the Amentia arc and Stella being turned into a monster). Add to that the delicious fact that Stella does not care for a second that Brandon is not royalty plus a handful of other tropes subverted (for example, her caring about his safety instead of his image during the competition on the Day of the Rose). Their honesty with each other is charming and their shared dramaticness is endearing. Their sensitivity and friendliness make them such a warm and welcoming couple that spreads love not only to each other but to the people around as well. They are just perfect and will always have my heart.

2. Layla x Nabu

They were so perfect for each other! There were some shady things around their first meeting but when they actually started interacting, it so quickly became clear that they were made for each other. What is really impressionable about the two of them is how much effort the writers actually put in showing how compatible they were. They got to be shown to have the same tastes and same hobbies and the understanding that builds between them is very natural and effortless. To top that off, they have this calm energy as a couple and just trust each other inexplicably which is something I feel they earned despite the suspicions that marked their first meeting. It was just so refreshing to watch a couple that has such a healthy relationship, especially compared to the shit show that the other relationships become in season 4. The only thing that really saddens me about them is the fact that the writers had to be absolutely despicable and kill off Nabu without any reason for that.

3. Tecna x Timmy

4. Mike x Vanessa

I have been so blind to not see all the cuteness of these two when I was little but I am correcting that mistake now. Respect for Tecna and Timmy’s relationship and also some squealing because it is absolutely adorable! The build-up and setup of it is just really good compared to the drama that the other relationships in season 1 are subjected to. Tecna and Timmy are the definition of friends to lovers and I love the way they both had to learn how to shift from being friends to navigating their romantic feelings and entering a relationship. The fact that they are the ones that are more involved with technology and rationality and Tecna comes from a planet that leans so heavily on logic and needs to learn how to be more open and listen to her heart makes their emotional scenes so touching. Season 3 was just incredible in regards to the highlights it gave their relationship, what with Timmy betting all of his hopes on finding her even when everyone else had given up and Tecna being ready to give up logic for him but then giving him up for the good of the world. The impact that these scenes had was just incredible and I loved it. The handful of scenes that they get in later seasons are also cute but all the meddling that season 5 subjected their relationship to was really annoying and very disrespectful, I would say. They retconned the emotional connection the two of them had established to an extent in order to push them into “conventional” displays of affection. It was unnecessary but at least some cute moments came of that as well. I just wish they would let them have a more central role in the narrative because they are definitely a more healthy couple than some of the ones that get the majority of the attention in later seasons.

We have mostly seen the two of them interacting with Bloom instead of with one another but they are just such warm parents and I cannot imagine that outside the context of them as a couple. What I mean is that they always work as a team and the understanding and support they show Bloom seems to come from that very fact, from the stability that the two of them have built in their marriage. And I believe it is that connection that the two of them have that helps them deal with everything that happens to them (they do get attacked more than enough times and they also need to let Bloom find her own way into life even if it takes her away (temporarily)). It is heartwarming to see them carrying their family together and being such wonderful parents not just to Bloom, but to the rest of Winx as well (in season 4 and in the second movie when they were taking care of all of them).

5. Marion x Oritel

Just like with Mike and Vanessa, we haven’t seen that much of Marion and Oritel but during the short screen time they’ve had, they’ve been shown to have each other’s backs in a way that none of the main couples have (well, actually, Tecna and Timmy had a cool battle moment in season 1). They are such a power couple and it’s inspiring to watch a couple of royals that can actually take care of themselves and of each other. They are capable and take no shit from the enemies they’re facing but they’re also very kind and understanding to Bloom (and her friends) too (except for Oritel in the second movie but he learns). It’s also amazing to see them going strong after the years upon years they spent trapped in Obsidian.

6. Erendor x Samara

Yeah, I know. You’re probably wondering what this is doing here. To be fair, I am a little confused and surprised myself but a deeper look into those two has convinced me that they are perfect for each other. It was evidenced in the first seasons as well that they share the same outlook on life but season five provides a couple interesting peeks into a deeper level of their relationship. Erendor is known for being an asshole and not standing anyone to disagree with him. In other words, he is an entitled prick used to getting things his way. Except for the fact that season 5 actually used the two minutes of screen time in which he and Samara appeared to say that he actually listens to her as he didn’t attack her the moment she criticized his decision (his horrible, horrible decision to give Diaspro any official authority) and let her persuade him into lenience over Bloom’s insistent calls distracting Sky. It isn’t much but it is a lot for him and from the general vibes they’ve given off in the short time they’ve had on screen, they truly appear to be a match made in heaven (even if they are hell to deal with to everyone else) while leaving a lot of room to work around with the vague implications about their whole situation. They’re simply interesting to me.

7. Riven x Darcy

This has some very unfortunate implications, especially in the 4kids dub but I do believe that it is Riven’s better relationship. While we didn’t see a lot from it, it was obvious that Darcy understood him and knew what he wanted which I don’t think was only the result of her using her powers on him. Riven was willing to keep an open psychic channel with her which I believe needed his consent and he trusted her enough to do that. The thing is that Darcy spoke to the worst parts of him while Musa was the one that was poking the best ones awake while also refusing to deal with the bad parts. I still think Darcy would have been a better partner for him had she completed her rehabilitation in Light Rock and come looking for an actual relationship. She could have embraced both the good and the bad in him and he could have done the same for her and I think they would have been a great couple in that case.

8. Riven x Musa

The fandom’s beloved placeholder for the “problematic” label. Honestly, the relationship could have been so different if the writers would have just let Riven’s character development stick from one episode to the next. Season 8 appeared to do that but they can still reverse it once again in season 9 so nothing is secure for now. What has pulled this ship lower than it used to be on my list is the fact that while Riven obviously has issues that he struggles with, Musa’s own behavior is rarely acknowledged despite being just as problematic most of the time. Yes, she tries to communicate with him at some points and it is more than understandable that him pulling away hurts her after everything she has been through but she also rarely appreciates Riven’s efforts when he makes them. They just have different ideas of showing and receiving affection and that makes a lot of their arguments, They care for each other but they don’t get each other and when they try, they drop it after an attempt or two because of the walls the other side is putting up. It is a mutual problem since Riven may be the first one to fuck up in a lot of the cases (if not all) but Musa is almost never open to communication and needs a lot of convincing to just give him a chance. Her first reaction is to start a fight instead of talk to him and it can be especially frustrating to watch them hurt each other. The best moments they have had were 2x15, 2x24 (I believe, when they were saying goodbye before Winx stormed Shadowhaunt) and, ironically enough, 6x23 when they broke up.

9. Flora x Helia

I had such loving feelings for this ship before rewatching everything. And then it was actually ruined. It isn’t about what they did (even though there were major annoyances in seasons 5 (especially) and 6). It’s about what they didn’t do. And they didn’t do anything. There is just no growth, no development, no attention at all paid to this ship and the only few moments that they get are all for the worse as they fall victim to cheap drama just like all the rest. Flora herself barely gets any arcs despite being one of the main characters and Helia has never had a single moment of change after his initial appearance in season 2 (if you do not count the evolving disasters that his new haircuts are). It’s stale and boring which is not to say that they need to have drama in order to be interesting. Unfortunately, that is the only kind of relationship dynamic that the writers of the show understand. I wish we would have actually gotten to see how their relationship impacts them as people because they’ve been together for six seasons and there has been no shift whatsoever.

10. Daphne x Thoren

This just sped through any logic and restrictions of reality. It was rushed. It was incredibly, unbelievably rushed. The reason I have not placed it lower on the list is because I have some personal headcanons that make it better (they will be revealed in my season 6 rewrite in due time) even though nothing can save the canon version. It just isn’t physically possible for events to happen the way they did. That’s not how the world functions. However, I did find them cute in the couple moments when the show actually bothered to show them interacting with each other and building that relationship. Had it had more time and acknowledgement, I believe it could have been a great ship, especially with the parallel of Daphne sacrificing everything for her little sister while Thoren ran away and abandoned his cousin only to learn how to be brave later on. There could have been a story there if the writers had had the patience and inclination to tell it.

11. Layla x Roy

The first impression Roy left was not a good one. He was introduced way too soon after Nabu’s death in order not to leave a foul taste in fans’ mouths (and Layla’s even though the show neglected that) and the light in which he was shown was not flattering either. Layla’s attitude towards him changed inexplicably when his own did only to leave her appearing to be considering a relationship with him despite not having had the proper chance to mourn Nabu. Then Nex got introduced into the fray and everything just lost all meaning. Roy at least appeared as the better choice between the two as he seemed to be over his macho ideas by the time a relationship became a possibility and he and Layla were shown to have fun together while for Nex everything was a competition. And then he faded without any explanation despite having the stronger connection to Layla. I believe they would have been the better couple had the writers bothered with writing a coherent story.

12. Theredor x Niobe

They have been shown to care about each other a lot, or at least Theredor has. The reason why I cannot say that this relationship has made much impression is because of how one-sided it has been portrayed as. Niobe just fades into the background almost all of the time and looks completely helpless during a crisis which just doesn’t leave any opportunity for her to even get the spotlight long enough to show her own feelings. They’re too busy showing her being protected by her husband, her daughter and said daughter’s friends. I genuinely think that they are a very loving couple not just to Layla but in regards to each other as well but that was just never given the spotlight because of the imbalance the writers cannot tame while writing them.

13. Bloom x Sky

Lucky number 13. I had completely forgotten to include them. I had totally and unsurprisingly forgotten to include them. My brain just blocked that shit out even though I had a momentary recollection of them at the start of creating this list. Anyway, they bring my list up to 15 and are lucky they aren’t in last place because there were even bigger disasters but let’s stay on topic (as much as I don’t want to).

For how much the show insists on shoving this relationship down our throats, one would’ve thought that they would make some effort with it. There isn’t any, really. I cannot settle on a worst moment for them as they have highlights in basically all the seasons (I’ve just blocked out seasons 6 and 7 because they were that annoying). Their best is definitely in Magical Adventure where they’re both OOC and actually communicate with each other. Which brings me to the issues of this relationship. Complete and utter lack of communication and trust which just goes on and on until you want to claw out whatever’s left of your brain so that it won’t be rotting on the inside of your skull anymore. The cheap drama that is thrown at them is so exhausting, but it cannot even compare to their refusal (or rather, the writers’ refusal) to let them learn from their mistakes and grow. Start fucking talking to each other! Prime example is SotLK where all of Bloom’s angsting could have been avoided if they had just fucking taken two minutes to talk. But that will never happen. Closest we came was season 8 and that was after Sky hid yet another interaction with Diaspro from Bloom. I couldn’t have cared less about them if the show wasn’t constantly throwing them in the forefront because they’re the main romance. The sad thing is that they actually truly care for each other but can’t get over themselves in order for the relationship to evolve to a level where it isn’t being more of a detriment to them rather than their safe place. I could rant more but I genuinely do not give enough of a damn to put in the effort.

14. Icy x Tritannus

Mostly a relationship introduced for the sake of the plot as that was what kept the Trix around for the entirety of season 5. Icy and Tritannus never connected in any meaningful way and all they were talking about was how they would rule together since they didn’t seem to have anything else in common but their thirst for power. The moments when they were shown to genuinely care for each other were OOC at least on Icy’s part (I can see Tritannus actually caring for her since she was the only one that saw him as the better brother) only to swerve into the opposite direction and make their breakup nonsensical as well. The whole ordeal appeared to be a disaster on a narrative level and there is the added bonus of Icy abandoning her sisters for him which is something I cannot forgive them for doing.

15. Layla x Nex

(I haven’t included the other parents because we haven’t seen nearly enough of them in order to make any conclusions about their relationships.)

This was just an offense. Nabu was a sweet and kind guy, the most mature out of all of the boyfriends and exactly the stability that Layla needed. Instead, she ended up with Nex that remained an asshole after two seasons of being around her and all of her friends. There was a slight change in him and a couple good moments in seasons 6 and 7 before his entire personality was reinvented for season 8 to make him a guy that Layla might actually consider a relationship with but he never actually progressed as a character to be that and the fact that they ended up together long before he became a decent person is a joke since he was someone Layla wouldn’t have spared a second glance at when they first met and not much changed by the time they got together.

The second time Kendall appeared at Stella's doorstep was a few days later.  He had been in Barbados with the Sibs and Caroline, trying to lock in the CEO position.  

Somehow, she again ended up on the counter, his hands roaming around her body.  Her pants were pulled down to her knees, the flesh of her thighs hitting the countertop.  

He stuck his head under her shirt, kissing and tickling her chest with his tongue.  Stella swore he came over int he early morning hours so he could catch her in sweats and no bra.  Her body was easy access to him, then.

"Ah!"  She laughed.  "Ken, stop!"

He nipped at her stomach, lowering his mouth to the waistband of her underwear.  

"Seriously.  Kendall."

He looked up at her, brown eyes begging for permission.  "What, pretty girl?"  His lips curved into a smile.

"You can't just keep barging into my place in the middle of the night."

"Uh, yeah I can."

Stella shooed him away from her pussy and sat up.  "We're fighting, remember?"

"I don't think we are."  He smirked at her.

She scoffed, turning to get off the counter, but his hands were still clamped down on her thighs.  "Okay, well, you can't keep doing this.  You didn't even tell me how Barbados went."  She trailed off, seeing the light shine in his eyes at the mention of Barbados.

"Well I was going to tell you after I fucked you into oblivion, but I guess you ruined the surprise."

"What?"  

"You know when I told you Dad named me CEO?"  

She nodded.

"Well Roman and I convinced Shiv to veto the deal.  We're fucking Lukas and GoJo."  He took her hands into his.  She was still just wearing her underwear and big t-shirt.  "It's me."

"For real this time?"

He nodded.  "Yeah.  For fucking real."

Her voice dropped, whispering, "You promise?"

"Yeah."

"So what happens next?"

"Well..."  He move closer to her, lips ghosting over her neck.  "I'm gonna be fucking CEO.  And I can do whatever I want..."  He bit down on the spot between her collarbone and her neck.  She could feel him, half-hard, pressed against her thigh.

"Mmm."  Stella hummed as he reached under her shirt yet again.  

"And then I get to spoil you, for real."  Kendall pulled her shirt over her head, nuzzling his face against her neck.  "You'll never have to pay for anything.  You can do whatever, be whatever."

She moaned.  The thought of being undeniably rich turned her on.  Their relationship was real, of course, but so was his money.  The concept of never having to pay for anything ever again would be attractive to anyone. His lips attached to her nipple, pulling slightly with his teeth.

"Wait, Ken,"  She could feel him getting harder and knew he was aching to fuck her.  

"Hm?"  He looked up from his spot, making hickeys all over her chest.  

"Can we, uh, do it in the bed?"

He grinned.  "You wanna make love, Stella girl?"

She shrugged, the blush creeping up her face.  "I just feel like we're always on the move."

They both knew that if Kendall became CEO, he would be on the move a lot more, unfortunately.  

"I know, baby."  He helped her down from her spot on the counter and led her to the bedroom.  Stella was basically naked as her back hit the sheets.  Kendall looked down at her, working on his shirt. 

She could barely wait, writhing around on the sheets, begging for him to touch her.  

"So impatient..."  He hummed, shrugging off his button down.  Her hands grasped at his belt, undoing it and pulling it through the loops.  She pulled down his pants--shaking fingers caressed the tip of his dick through his briefs.  

"Ahh, Stell..."  Kendall gasped at the sudden contact.  He had been holding it in, but playing with her tits had made him incredibly hard.  She reached in, palming him as he got on top of her.  

"I love you."  Stella moaned as he bit down on her shoulder.

Stella's legs started to shake as Kendall grunted, thrusts getting sloppier.  "I'm gonna come in you, okay?"

She nodded.  "Okay."

His thumb lazily traced circles around her clit, hips stuttering against hers.  After too much time away, he wasn't lasting long.  

"Gonna...ah..."  Kendall gasped against her flesh, warmth filling her stomach.  He mumbled something that sounded like 'oh fuck' as he released, relief coming out of him in waves.  She still loved him, even with his flaws.  

 Watching him come undone pushed Stella to her own high, her walls flush against him, pulsing.  Her mouth dropped open, a silent scream taking over her as Kendall took them over the edge.  

"Never leave me, okay?"  He looked down at her, chests heaving.

"I'm not going to leave you, Ken."  She touched his chin.  "No matter what happens."

The next time she saw him was on tv, two mornings later.  It was 10 AM and she hadn't heard from him yet, which was not a good sign.  

Stella checked her phone as she turned her tv to ATN News.

"Oh shit..."  She muttered under her breath.  

"TOM WAMBSGANS NAMED US CEO OF WAYSTAR ROYCO" A headline read.

Stella ran through the hall, phone in one hand, the other grabbing a jacket and pants.  

"Roman!"  Stella was shocked he actually picked up.

"How did you get this number?"  He sounded drunk.

"Where is he?"

"I don't know.  Probably floating dead in the Hudson somewhere by now."

"Roman."

"Battery Park, probably.  That's where Dad used to go."

"Okay, okay."  She stopped, trying to sound as normal as she could.  Tears were threatneing to fall, though.  "Is he...uh...--"

"Is he good?  Uh, no, well, yeah, he is not good.  He'll probably be dead or knee deep in coke by the end of the night.  Probably both."

"Great.  Thanks."

"My advice, Stella?"

She was quiet for a second.  

"Get the fuck out while you can."  He said.  "Seriously.  Like, you're young, you're an actress or whatever, so you'll be okay.  Let Ken destroy himself."

"What?"  Roman wasn't wrong.  She was young.  She had her whole life ahead of her, and couldn't be the sad wife of a coke-head.  Was saving him worth it?

"He'll promise you sobriety, but he always lies.  Rava figured it out too late, I guess.  You can get out now.  Out before you're like, legally tied to him or something."

"And you're just going to let him die?"

"Ah, I'll be here when he inevitably gets out of rehab."

"But I should leave?"

"I'm his brother, I have to stay."

But could she?

Jamie feels bad.

He knows how close you are with your brother. He knows how much you hate keeping secrets from him. But he’s also grateful.

He’s only been back at Richmond for a couple months, and many of the boys are still wary around him. He doesn’t blame them, but they’re all so fiercely protective of you that his biggest worry what’ll happen to him, to your relationship when the cat is let out of the bag.

Your biggest worry is how Dani will take it. Dani isn’t the stereotypical ‘i’ll-kill-anyone-who-looks-at-her’ big brother, but he does take shielding you from the press very seriously. And dating Jamie Tartt? That’ll put you right in the spotlight.

The both of you are reaching the end of your rope, and it’s getting harder and harder to hide it.

So Jamie does the only thing he can think of. He talks to Ted.

He takes his time changing after training, carefully packing everything in his bag, a flimsy but effective way to stay after everyone has gone. He also keeps an eye on Roy, whom he’s paranoid knows Jamie is hiding something.

But the older player simply strolls past him, ignoring him as usual, and after Jamie strains his ears to make sure he’s gone, he bolts into Ted and Coach Beard’s office.

Ted looks up from his computer with a start, Beard’s attention suddenly also on Jamie. He feels the heat rise in his cheeks, but Ted simply smiles. “What can I do for you today, Jamie?”

Jamie takes a breath, and right before he speaks, he spots Nathan coming back in the locker room. He closes the door gently, turning back to the two men.

“I’m gonna be totally honest, I’ve been dating Y/n for two months now,” he starts, and Ted leans forward.

“But the thing is, nobody else except for Keeley knows. She really wants to tell Dani, and she’s not telling him because I asked her not to, but I can tell she really wants to, but what if the team beats me up? Like what if Dani is still mad at me for being such a twat and he gets the whole team to beat me up? Roy especially, he would like totally punch me in the balls and then Dani would make me break up with Y/n, but I don’t want to break up with her, but I also don’t want to get beat up, y’know?” Jamie rushes, his words tripping over each other.

Ted takes it in, leaning back in his chair and nodding. After a few moments of silence, he turns to Coach Beard.

“Coach?” He asks.

“Yeah, Coach?” Beard answers, eyes not leaving the chess game on his phone.

“Do me a favor, Coach.” Ted asks, starting to smile.

“Anything, Coach.”

Ted’s grin widens. “Call the Diamond Dogs together please Coach.”

Beard gives a nod. “You got it Coach.”

Jamie looks between them, not a clue as to what’s happening, when Nathan glides into the room, seating himself on the shelf next to Jamie. Jamie looks at Ted in confusion, but Ted just keeps smiling.

A minute later, Higgins also enters the room and gives Jamie a nod. Simultaneously, the four men start barking, and Jamie’s ready to leave when Ted speaks again.

“Fellas, turns out Beard was right. Jamie is dating mini-Rojas,” Ted says, and for the second time in five minutes, Jamie’s face heats up.

“Problem is,” Ted continues, “he’s not sure how well that’ll go over with the team, and frankly, neither am I. Ideas?”

Jamie raises his hand, and Ted points at him. “Yes, Mr. Tartt?”

“First off, the fuck is happening. Second, the fuck is happening?” Jamie asks, tucking his hands under his shirt.

Higgins grins. “We are the Diamond Dogs, and we are here to help! With your dilemma. Your Rojas Hassle, of you will.”

Jamie shook his head. “Whatever. Do I tell him or not?”

Nathan raises his hand. “Well, what I see the worst-case scenario being is the team ices you out for maybe another couple months. Do you think Y/n will side with you during that?”

Jamie twists his fingers under his shirt. “I mean, I hope so. I would be sad if she didn’t y’know cause— well she…” he trails off, his head filled with his favorite memories of the two of you.

“She inspires me to be a better person, and I think even if we had to break up cause Dani said so, I would still want to be better for her and then if I am better maybe Dani and the team’ll see that and they’ll let us date again?” Jamie looks up, glancing around the room.

Ted slaps his hand on the table. “Well lookee there, I think you’ve solved your own problem! And with limited help from us! I declare the Diamond Digs meeting over!”

Jamie begins to smile, a bit of the weight on his shoulders lifted. His smile faded when every other person in the room begins to bark, and with an eye roll, he leaves.

When he gets out, the cool breeze biting at his face, he sees you, waiting by your car. You’re chatting with your brother, who’s telling some sort of training story. His hands are flailing everywhere, and you’re giggling.

He takes a deep breath, then walks over. When he reaches you, he snakes an arm around your waist. You look up at him, the question in your eyes.

When he nods, that inquiry on your face is replaced with his favorite look: that shine of joy in your eyes, and you turn back to your brother.

Jamie takes a breath to explain, but before he can, Dani hugs him. “¡Felicidades! ¡Bienvenido a la familia, cuñado!”

Jamie looks to you for the translation, and smiles slightly when he notices your face buried in your hands. “Something you want to tell me, love?” He asks.

“He called you his brother-in-law,” you say, your voice heavy with embarrassment and muffled by your hands. Jamie’s grin widens.

“Should we plan the wedding then?” He asks. You groan loudly. Dani suddenly turns serious, and Jamie gulps. Has he overstepped?

“Por favor, do not make me wear those horrible dress shoes,” he says, his hands clasped together in front of him.

This causes you to laugh, and Jamie’a grin reappears.

The reaction Dani had was certainly not the reaction he forsaw, but it was definitely better than the one he expected.
