Mad Mike’s FURSTY by TCP Magic, 2024. Presented at the Tokyo Auto Salon. Kiwi drifter Mike Whiddett began his career with this Mazda Savanna Wagon but sold it to fund his FD RX-7 drift car. Fast forward to October last year when Mike was able to buy the Mazda Wagon back and pass it onto TCP Magic. They have fitted a 26B 4-rotor NA engine with HGT sequential transmission and Winters Performance quick-change differential, there's also a Rocket Bunny Pandem wide-body kit and custom Rotiform wheels.

So, why are rotary cutters awesome:
Safe! Very safe!
Can go back and forth to make several passes on the material. You don't have to lift the blade off your work and replace it at the top, you can just go back, which minimizes the risk of a mistake.
Feels like wielding a pizza cutter, it's very easy.
The handle is shaped differently than a straight cutter, so you hold it in a way that makes it easier to put more pressure on the blade but without straining your fingertips. At least in my case.
When coupled with a quilting ruler, it's just the safest way of cutting that exists. I once badly cut my fingertip using a straight cutter and a regular ruler: I twitched so the ruler slipped and the blade went right through me. But I'm not afraid for a second with the quilting ruler + rotary cutter combo.
Barely more expensive than a straight cutter. Worth it!
Now, I suspect the blade's life will be shorter and I'll have to change it when it's blunt. The cool thing about straight cutters is the blade life, because you can just shorten it to get it back to sharp. But I can live with that considering all the advantages of the rotary cutter, and it doesn't look like blades are very expensive anyway.

DSAF characters as Phones
including like i think all the human characters except the health inspector, but excluding all the phoneheads
I kept most of them non-era specific!
Jack - Nokia 3310
Look. Nokia 3310 is indestructible, and so is Jack with the way he comes back. Y'get it.
Dave - SPECIFICALLY a phone receiver
this is specifically bc of navy-leader's phone art. actually i think he made jack a nokia too??? im not sure but like making dave a fucking phone receiver and the cable his neck. my god. you don't want to know how much it brainrotted me
Henry - Antique wall telephone
partially picked bc of splatoon but also i think it really fits Henry. Also like i guess he deserves a cool-lookin phone (he doesn't but it still fits)
Dee - Princess telephone
Admittingly, I didn't have any other phones I can think of that could fit her vibes except garfield phone. cat lady moments. Other than that, the princess telephone was another retro telephone brand that i dont really see a lot. can't find a nice striped one though
Matt - Flip Phone (no specific model)
No specific reasoning to this tbh i jsut like matt and thought i'd give him flip phone. But also wouldn't you want to close his face on him? stop that man from talking? Now you can!
Jimbo - Brick Cell Phone
I'm not caught up on ANY jimbo lore tbh but i think brick cell phones fit his vibe. originally i was gonna give him the ghostbuster cell phone bc like yknow. shadow jimbo (still don't know shit about him)
Ronaldo - Vintage Pizza Inn Landline Telephone Novelty Pizza Man Phone
also not entirely caught on his lore but like he's a funny pizza dude who may or may not cook with human flesh! he derves a funny pizza dude phone!

Sitting on the loo absolutely mystified as to why my back is spasming so painfully because I don’t have a working memory good enough to remember that I spent 4 hours today hunched over making dice bags for all my friends.
