okay. disclaimer this has SO many thoughts please remember panic was my gateway to bandom thanks. also i’m sorry to my ryan friends

so in 2012? i guess? i got into panic and the split was still Very Fresh in everyone’s minds. and they were like You Have to Pick a Side. so i picked brendon and spencer. and i do not regret that choice, musically and artistically speaking. the young veins are FINE and FUN but vices & virtues is a way, way better album than take a vacation, which is kind of funny in a mean way to me because when ryan quit panic he talked a LOT of shit on brendon and spencer and the concept of the band in general, but they made something like... really much more musically interesting than he did. and continued making music, whereas ryan legit dropped off the face of the earth for a REALLY long time.

we know now that brendon is a Supreme Douchey White Dude, but honestly, i don’t think that ryan is necessarily Not That, he just doesn’t have the platform or do social media in the same way that brendon does. EVEN IF HE DID THO... i don’t think i could ever overcome my ryan dislike. i pavlov’d myself into getting angry when i see him and i still stand by the fact that he was a huge asshole after the split
