🪰 Nikola chuckled as you cheered, the youngest sister jumping alongside you. You were such a flamboyant woman back during your lives, and it was hard getting used to life without you when you passed, and it was amazing when you both joined hands again

☀️ Leonidas was ready for his fight, after all, he was going against the man he blamed for the deaths of not only his and his men's lives, but the death of his wife via the domino affect

☀️ As your husband looked back at you, you smiled and hugged him, wishing him luck. You the heard an eruption of applause, making you look up while Leonidas scowled silently

☀️ Standing before you both was a youthful-looking god, specifically Apollo, the Greek God of the Sun and Music. Much like the others close to Leonidas, you knew how much he despised this guy and how much he blamed him for the deaths of his men, himself, and in result you

☀️ The God of the Sun looked around and winked at his nymphs in the audience, which caused you to roll your eyes and kiss your husband's arm before leaving him to enter his fight

☀️ It was when you finally made it up to where Brunhilde and Göll were that the fight was about to begin. You could see that the two males were speaking, or rather Apollo was speaking to the King of Sparta standing before him

"You know I always wondered what my opponent looked like, wondered if you truly were just a brute, but..." He looked in your direction, causing you to flinch slightly.

☀️ Apollo smirked as your long blue sleeved moved and how your traditional Greek dress hugged you. It accentuated your chest perfectly and allowed your perfect skin to shimmer in the light that Apollo controlled. Not that man you called yours

"I must admit, you found the most gorgeous ray of life I have ever seen. And I'm a well-sought-after god."

"Shut your fucking trap and fight me like the powerful man you claim to be." Leonidas said, readying his weapon.

"Simmer down there, Leonidas! I meant nothing offensive towards your beautiful wife up there." He said as he winked at you, much to everyone's annoyances. "I just merely wanted to commend you on your taste. Maybe after my victory I can take that flower out for a walk? Yes, that sound delightful."

"Kick that motherfucker in the balls for me, honey!" You screamed.

"Planning on it."

"Well then, I guess we can begin our fight. Now... let's dance, your majesty."

🌩️ But, fate was cruel and it always landed you both in extremely tight spaces. It cursed you with the arranged marriage to a man you despised while Lu Bu's gave him the strength nobody else could match, leaving him alone for many years

🌩️ Thankfully, your fiance was stupid enough to get himself crossing paths with the rough-man, landing him six-feet-under. It was only after that day that you finally found the man you loved, to which you married and, while not having any biological children, you treated all of your shared subordinates with the love of a mother

🌩️ As the fight began, you shivered. Raising your hands, you gripped your upper sleeves, causing Chen Gong to look at you and wrap an arm around your shoulder, attempting to comfort you while your husband readied himself against the notorious God of Thunder

"Human. Why do you intend to beat me?" Thor asked.

"My wife and soldiers have faith in me, though I don't expect an arrogant monster such as a god to understand that. So why bother?"

🌩️ Thor cocked an eyebrow slightly as he looked over at the many soldiers that Lu Bu led, he gazed over them all before settling on you. You were the most beautiful woman he had ever laid his eyes upon in eons

🌩️ You looked at Lu Bu with worry and determination in your eyes. It almost made Thor... jealous. But why would he, an all-powerful being such as himself, be jealous of some mortal's luck with picking a spouse?

🌩️ Eventually you felt Thor's gaze on you, making you stare into his yellow-colored irises. He blinked as you shifted slightly in your hanfu, which only made Chen wrap his arm tighter around you, determined to keep you at-bay

🌩️ Thor looked back at your husband before sighing and starting the walk that would mark the start of Ragnarok. He glanced back at you, only to see you focused, watching Lu Bu with both love and hope despite your furrowed eyebrows

🌩️ And while they began their fight, there was one thing plaguing Thor's thoughts; why did he wish for you to look at him in that way?

🔱 As a god of few words and one that showed far to much pride for even his own brothers to handle, Poseidon was the opposite of your husband. And you hated that

🔱 Your husband was none other than Sasaki Kojiro, History's Greatest Loser. And as you were close to a couple immortals such as Buddha and Brunhilde, you knew just how dangerous the God of the Seas could be. And it made you concerned for your husband's outcome in this battle

🔱 Sasaki looked back at you as he raised his now-broken sword, and he could tell by the subtle look that you were beyond pissed. And that was the thing he loved most about you, your fieriness

"Why you arrogant bastard! How much of a fucking asshole do you have to be to not even blink an eye at killing such a magnificent man?! Why if I was down there, I'd smack the ever-loving shit out of you!"

🔱 Poseidon was internally shook at hearing a mortal woman yell at him. Every time any human tried voicing their opinions to him, his mere glace would shut them up. But not this human. This one was different

🔱 Looking up slightly, he saw you standing with the other supporters of your husband. One of the males, Musashi Miyamoto, was holding one of your arms to keep you from jumping down and attacking the god with your bare hands while his son, Iori, was watching in shock at how strong you were

🔱 The one thing that Poseidon noticed other than your attitude was how you moved. You moved so delicately and swiftly despite your fury, and it was, dare he think, alluring. It was almost like you were an embodiment of the silkiness of a piece of the softest fabric ever

🔱 You raised your fist and slammed it on the nearby seat, causing Iori to jump and your elderly-appearing husband to chuckle. Poseidon merely watched stoically as you screamed once again

"You win this match and show Humanity just how amazing your old-ass is, Kojiro!"

"Alright, sweetheart. I understand what I must do." He replied, a chill-smile on his face while yours portrayed pure hatred towards his opponent.

🔱 The God of the Seas then saw you lower your fist back down as Musashi had his son wrap it up, as it was bleeding from the impact of cement and your fragile-hand. He saw your hanfu, it looked very blue, like the seas he ruled over for centuries

🔱 After this fight was over with his winning and a step closer to the destruction of those pesky worms down on Earth, Poseidon was going to need to pay you a visit. Maybe said visit will lead to something else? But, for now, getting rid of this hunk of waste was the first step to said future

The reader is part of a high ranking angel family specifically seraphim's their adoptive father have connections with other higher rank gods, the reader is the most famous pop star in Valhalla, performing in grand halls before audiences of gods, valkyries, and honored human souls. Gods like Apollo, Hermes, and Dionysus are frequent attendees

They are very adored by many of the gods in Valhalla, specifically Hermes usually when their adoptive father have a meeting with Zeus they would discuss music, he actually teaches them about how to sing and play music instruments

They are by far one of the most influential people at Valhalla even tho being born a species below the gods but higher than humans. Many would try to court them some gods would try to enforce their rule towards them but there still more powerful gods amongst their side.

Apollo and them have a good relationship as in pals not as anything more than that, they would discuss the beauties of the world and beauty tips. Although there's never anything going on between them many of the nymphs that follow him would be envies of the reader or Apollo themselves.

The reader would go to Midgard and usually would try to spread the voice harmony leading the start of worshipers, this could lead to a possibility of them becoming a god that they have no intention of but their adoptive father been trying to push it as well.

About their brother he respects their decision but still being ascended as a good would do good for their family name.

Valhalla has different districts, and the reader resides in the Celestial Quarter, a place reserved for divine and semi-divine beings, Where they reside.

Occasionally, they perform for human souls in Midgard’s Quarter, offering songs of comfort and inspiration to warriors who perished in battle.

Encounters with Loki are frequent he enjoys provoking them, testing their composure, and hinting that he knows more about their past than they do.

Usually when they have a big performance, they would absolutely do their best to be perfect the higher ranking gods like Zeus and Odin only deserve perfection no flaws are welcome if not their family name would be tarnish.

Apollo would casually drop by and would act with them during rehearsal giving them tips and critiques on how to make the performance better, by the reader also performing during large banquets.

By far one of their closest companions is Buddha always finding peace with him not making a fuss over them, Whenever they feel overwhelmed by expectations, they find themselves wandering to Buddha’s favorite quiet spots—a serene garden, a quiet temple, or just a random rooftop where he’s enjoying the breeze.

Warnings: some heavy Angst Right here, and most likely no comfort. It's one of the first times i write this kind of stuff so it may suck. Mentions of death and violence.

Poseidon

• Poseidon was many things, among them a very proud god, for that reason, he never let anyone get too close to him, let them know too much about him, a god should not depend on anyone, after all.

• However, that same philosophy exploded in his face when he began to frequent a certain place. Or, rather, a certain person.

• Even though it sounded ridiculous, the tyrant of the seas once became fond of a mortal, as shameful as it was. For that reason he never allowed his existence to be known to the other gods or humans, he did not want to carry that stain on his name, not even for all the love he had for his lover.

• Maybe they could find a way to turn them into gods, but until then, it was better, for him, to keep it all a secret. After all, the idea of spending eternity with them did not sound bad at all, it was a future he hoped for.

• Sadly, that future was shattered with the fall of the old regimes in the Greek cities. The gods could no longer intervene in those times unless they had certain… priorities.

• Poseidon believed that reader was going to be fine, they was a mortal, but a resilient, stubborn mortal couldn't be easy to kill… or could they?

• It was a pretty vivid image in Poseidon's head, when he found the lifeless body of his lover. A few meters away from a temple that humans had made in his honor.

• They had come to seek his protection… and they died…

• (The least Poseidon could do was ensure that reader had a proper burial next to his temple. A strange way to always keep them close…)

• Everyone could notice a certain bitterness in Poseidon after this dark era. But no one was brave enough to find out why the already closed god's attitude changed. Not even his brothers.

• Even after his death, his pride was greater than his love.

• Almost two millennia passed since those events, and what many gods did not expect happened. Ragnarok. Even with Poseidon's disinterest in the event, he was one of the chosen ones to fight, so he went.

• He only hoped that all of this would end quickly, however, when Heimdal was introducing his opponent, he could feel something... familiar.

• And then, Heimdal said their name, as they landed on the battlefield. reader...

• Poseidon reacts externally, for the first time, having his eyes fixed on his opponent, with an expression between perplexed and... with something unknown, as if he wanted to reach out his hand to reader and know that they were really there.

• However, the fight began. Although reader did not have as much strength as the god of the sea, they did not hesitate to attack him for the good of humanity. Although he did not miss the pain on their face every time he looked at him. How painful…

• When the god of the seas falls dead, he gives the reader a sympathetic look for the first time, as if he saw this as the right thing to do, maybe it was, but it was good to see them well again…

Thor

• Thor is also a proud god, but to a lesser extent. He doesn't really think much (if at all) about humans, but that doesn't mean he was incapable of falling for the charms of a mortal from his pantheon.

• That was the case with Reader, a mortal who liked to hang around the same places Thor used to fight, looking for materials to be able to do magic of some kind (things Thor didn't understand, but Reader got so excited talking about it that he would just let them rant and talk for hours).

• What started as unwanted company when he wanted to clear his mind, quickly became a routine for the god of thunder. Always hoping to be greeted by Reader's constant talk, their new discoveries regarding some magical plant, etc.

• Curiosity turned to appreciation, appreciation turned to affection, and affection turned to love. Thor didn't hide the fact that he loved Reader, he used that fact as a threat, after all, no one would want to anger the God of Thunder by messing with the mortal who had earned his affection.

• Thor thought that in this way he was protecting his partner, however, this would have serious consequences when the attack of the giants in Asgard occurred.

• He saw this event as another attack, another waste of time, so he left his lover behind to take care of the problem (even though he knew it would be boring), saying goodbye while Reader happily greeted him.

• Not knowing that it would be the last time he would see them alive.

• Thor remembers how the events of that afternoon were, the day his reputation was formed, it was also one of the worst days of his life.

• The first thing the God of Thunder noticed when he arrived at Reader's territory, were the giant footprints in the territory, realizing what had happened, he quickly went to see his partner's house, but it was too late.

• One of the giants had strayed, and gone to attack Reader's house in his absence. Everything was in pieces, destroyed, including the body of the god's lover.

• He spent several hours clinging to the cold and shattered body of his partner, unable to accept the reality of what had happened until his father arrived to take him to Asgard.

• And now... here, in Ragnarok. Thor remained still for a second, while the face he tried to forget stared at him. The face he couldn't remember without seeing it disfigured and shattered, was before him, as His opponent.

• No matter how weak reader was in comparison, they were able to give Thor a fight thanks to their Volundr and, more importantly, the god of thunder seemed unable (or willing) to throw deadly blows. Not at them.

• Thor wanted them to tire themselves out and eventually give up, not to do this to him, they couldn't do this to him, please…

• It doesn't matter if Thor dies at the hands of his former partner, or if his partner dies again at (what he feels was) his hand, there will always be that thought in Thor's head, deep in his subconscious. That will haunt him until the end.

• “It's my fault”

Apollo

• Ah~Apollo has had many lovers in his life, some have been more like admirers who were able to climb the hierarchy of his temple, others who were friends with certain “favors” in between. But none of them were like reader.

• Like everything the sun god liked, reader was a mortal of great beauty, which was already enough to gain the god's interest. However, what kept him was their personality, their quick mind, and to a lesser extent, their dry humor.

• they was someone Apollo enjoyed having around more than a god should with a mortal, but Apollo was willing to turn a blind eye, after all, wasn't this funny and beautiful human absolutely adorable? What kind of god would he be if he didn't keep them for himself, forever?

• That was the plan, at least. However, Apollo's ego, as well as attracting the attention of fanatics, also brought problems.

• Apollo was well aware that other divine entities were interested in his favorite mortal lover, and it wasn't something he liked in the slightest. It was something he let everyone know.

• Whether it was with mocking comments about how Reader preferred him over other lesser deities, displays of his ego, among other things that made a certain wind god angry...

• Apollo didn't remember anything about the day Reader died in his arms, but he did remember how everything felt the next day. The blood in the playground, where Reader's head was opened by a disk, their large room, normally full of noise, was now completely silent, and their bed, which in the mornings was always warm, was now cold.

• Everything felt... empty, without Reader to give it meaning.

• Obviously Apollo wasn't going to show how this affected him with so many eyes on him all the time. If anything, he just let himself go and abused his normal vices even more, even during a time as difficult as Ragnarok.

• He probably would have stayed stuck in that cycle of misery, if he hadn't been told who his opponent was going to be. Oh~ sweet, cruel irony.

• A part of Apollo just wanted to run over and hug Reader and squeeze Reader's face the moment he set foot in the arena, look at them, thinking themself tough enough to face him, wasn't that just cute?

• Even when Reader looked at him with a hurt and serious expression, Apollo just enjoyed being able to see them again, FEEL him again, as if it were a friendly fight between two estranged lovers (which he was going to win, of course) so that Apollo could get them back.

• How? Simple, by eliminating them from Ragnarok without killing them, he would simply have to make them give up, right?

• … right?

• No matter how much Apollo launched attack after attack, arrow after arrow, blow after blow, Reader still didn't give up. At first he tried to laugh, but now… he was getting worried.

• They didn't understand? He does this to save them! Just give up!

• Give up!

• GIVE UP!

• However, Reader got back up, the fight continued, and Reader looked more and more tired, more and more fragile… that look of exhaustion and pain… was very similar to when he died… but it was full of determination to kill him.

• Gods…

☀️ Apollo hummed, his lyre's strings gliding with his fingers as he played it in the room that acted as his main. His golden eyes closed as he sits there, absentmindedly playing his music to relax himself.

☀️ Behind him, he heard two voices. His eyes opened, and slid across the clean room towards the doorway. There, opening the door, was his godly father; Zeus. His frail body slid inside, the one beside him being Apollo's brother and Zeus' other son, Hermes.

☀️ Hermes offered his brother a relaxed smile, to which the God of the Sun copied back. Zeus looked at his older son and stood straighter, a pop coming from his withered back as he did so.

☀️ "Apollo," He began. "How have you been all these years away?"

☀️ "Quite well, Father." Apollo replied, standing and laying his instrument on a nearby table. "How have you, Lady Hera, and the others been?"

☀️ "Well as well." He smiled, sitting down in a chair with a lightning bolt inscribed in it. It was normal for him to sit in the exact same chair, almost as if it was a throne. Because of this, Apollo had engraved the King of the Gods' symbol. "Though, I do have a question for you."

☀️ Apollo's eyebrows rose slightly as he sat across from his father, his chair engraved with a sun, along with hyacinths flowers, his lyre, and a wedding band with a sound-wave symbol inside. He looked into his father's matching eyes and asked what his father needed.

☀️ "The last I remember, you were with that human; the one who spoke without a care, whom you married. Am I correct?"

☀️ "You are correct, Father. What does my spouse have to do with anything?"

☀️ Zeus chuckled, tapping his fingers on the wood, lightning slightly popping from the tips as he repeated the action while he spoke. "Well, I was wondering if they would like to participate in Ragnarok. Not as a fighter, but as an announcer. Heimdall would be working alongside them, so nothing bad could occur."

☀️ Apollo glanced, looking at a painting nearby. The frame hung from a single nail on the wall, golden flowers and leaves surrounding it, bringing volume, while the four inside smiled.

☀️ Inside the painting, there was two adults and two children. The adults smiled happily, their smiles pressed lightly against their children's flushed cheeks. Just looking at how much you two meant to one another, nonetheless to your children, was enough for Apollo to nod.

☀️ "Yes, I'm sure they'd enjoy it as well."

☀️ Apollo smiled, feeling one of his twins' hands gripping his own tightly. He looked down at his eldest twin and asked what they were nervous about.

☀️ "What if Mama/Papa gets hurt?" The mini-version of Apollo asked. The God of Light chuckled as the young boy was picked up and placed on his elder half-brother's shoulders.

☀️ "Don't worry, young Darius, I'm sure they'll be just fine." Orpheus, your step-son, voiced. His younger sibling looked at him and nodded. Apollo then looked to his right and saw his other twin, Damon, in his other half-brother's lap. Asclepius smiled gently and wrapped a cut the young deity had gotten from dropping a godly-weapon a couple days prior.

☀️ "Orpheus is right, Mama/Papa Y/N is very strong when engaged in battle. Besides, I'm sure none of us would stand for them being collateral damage." Said Aristaeus, chuckling as Darius played with his golden-hair.

☀️ Apollo nodded and heard the sound of lights turning off. His sons all silenced and sat down, either on a chair or on top of their brothers.

☀️ "Speaking of Y/N..."

☀️ "Divine and Non-Divine, it is a pleasure to bring you all this wondrous event; Ragnarok. You will see two of the strongest of your kind battle for the fate of Humanity."

☀️ "That's right, Y/N! In the first round of human vs god, we have two of the most formidable to ever live!"

☀️ Your family smiled as you hopped around, eventually landing on a cloud, and you continued announcing for the human opponent for the first round. "The man fighting for Humanity is known far and wide for his military prowess. Anyone who learned about Asian history will know from from his aliases; Humanity's Worst and Most Barbaric Warrior, The All Mighty Warlord, the Furious Dragon, The Strongest Warrior in History, and the Flying General! Everyone, it is my pleasure to introduce to you all: Lu Bu!"

☀️ As the human warrior stepped out to wait for Heimdall to announce the first divine fighter, you floated on your cloud towards the balcony where your family sat. You jumped from the fluffy structure of water and ran into the arms of your husband.
