"My wife and soldiers have faith in me, though I don't expect an arrogant monster such as a god to understand that. So why bother?"

When it comes to his darling Buddha is controlling and possessive without even being like that, he just loves you so much he that he can't help himself but want you all to himself, wanting for you to trust him with your life and soul, just like he want to trust in you blindly

He falls in love after some time you two spend together, so you already can consider your relationship, at least, as a friendship, and since for you to met him had being when he was a prince or start following him he has an advantage by already having your trust

Buddha is pretty affectionate and flirty already, it doesn't matter if you are shy or even flirt back he just keep doing it (however if you are easily flustered that just motivate him to tease you more and more), however he doesn't cross your limits or make you uncomfortable, he is willing to wait until you are ready since you two still have the rest of your lifes (since Buddha isn't planning on leave you anytime soon)

Buddha really appreciate the affection from your part, it gives him the sense that your relationship is growing for a good path and that you are accepting his love (what will bring you benefits), still when you ask him to close his eyes for you it would depend in how much he trust you, if he still thinks that you aren't fully willing to be with him there is a chance that he doesn't do it or if he does it he will take your wrists just to make sure you don't try something weird, in the other hand, if he already trust you and knows that you love him too he is totally willing to close your eyes for you, even smiling while doing it (however, even if you try something, like trying to run away, he is totally confident in his habilities and he is sure that he can catch you if is need it)

Beelzebub has a lot of troubles when it comes to his darling, first of all he is a worshipper, he thinks that you are way better than him (even if you are a bad person) and he doesn't has the right to ask anything from you, not when he is nothing more than a mere bastard who killed the ones he loved, however he is dependent once he met you (even if it isn't directly) he can't just live without you, he had watched you from afar for a while and had the opportunity to know you better, reaching the point where he feels like he will die if he doesn't know anything about you or is near you for too long

Beelzebub is too ashamed of himself to approach to you, leave alone introduce himself to you, so for you to meet has to be because you somehow find about him and were the one starting to talk to him or because you were in danger and he had no other option than stepping in to protect you

Once you two start to hang out more Beelzebub just grows more and more depend on you and completely influenced by you, Beelzebub feels like he has no reason to live and since he literally can't die he just think that his fate is suffer, but if you show him kindness or even express that you enjoy his company he will start feeling like he may have a chance to give his life a reason with you, so he just devote himself to you

Beelzebub feels even honored that you leave someone cursed like him being around you, so he trust you blindly, however the moment you aks him to close his eyes he is tensed up imediatly, Beelzebub think that maybe he had done something bad or upsed you and you are going to do something to him when he close his eyes (not because you are violent, is just that that is what he deserve), or even worst, that you will go away and disappear from his life

Beelzebub asks you if you are sure that you want him to close his eyes, and once you confirm it he just do as you ask, still a little nervous (it doesn't matter if you had asked shyly, he is too busy overthinking it to notice it), he is frowning in anticipation and his heart is racing for anxiety, every second it pass it makes him feel so desesperate not knowing what you would do

The moment you place a kiss on his cheeks, it doesn't matter if is softly or more excitedly he is shocked, Beelzebub is so taken aback that he finch and open his eyes in a second, of the all the scenarios he had think on this had never crossed his mind. In the moment you separate yourself from him and run away Beelzebub panics, he doesn't feels worthy of your affectionate so he is confused of why you had kisses him, deep down he likes it but his panic is more intense, he didn't even noticed that you were blushing because he is too scare thinking that you ran away from him because you want to get away from him, maybe your kiss was some kind of farewell

Beelzebub follows you out of instinct for how anxious he is, out of desesperation he takes you by your wrist or the shoulder (probably a little harsh) once he reaches you and is then when he notice that you were blushing, if you are being shy or even playfuly is what make him get into his senses again, immediatly let go of you and deeply apologize (even if you didn't react bad). Hello anon! I don’t write much for ror these days. But since i actually have some stuff for this i can write about this! I don’t write for Jack though!

Thor

⚡️ the quiet but chill student. Usually takes more chiller subjects too. Like geography, arts and culture, p.e. Actually biology too?

⚡️ actually has decent grades. Like not that he’s failing, but he’s not a top student either. He does blink out in certain subjects like P.E and Biology.

⚡️thor does actually go to parties. Didn’t expect that one huh? Me neither. But he does go to a few. Usually the chiller ones which is hosted by Shiva or Ares. He would NOT go to the ones Zeus gives. Never. Ever. He would rather die.

⚡️Actually has a decent amount of friends? He’s super chill with Shiva and Buddha. Surprisingly Poseidon? They go to the gym with each other and have biology together. So they’re pretty cool too.

⚡️ Thor is someone who copies homework. Like he doesn’t respond to the groupchat. Only sometimes. With an emphasis on sometimes. But when answers are leaked. He makes sure he had em written down. He also sends them to other ppl of they need it

⚡️skips school trips. He thinks they’re a waste of time and just asks for another project to do. If it’s actually mandatory, he will go. He might have a fun time while he’s at it. But it truly depends on the trip and the circumstances.

⚡️okayish with teachers. They like him most for the time. He’s quiet and does what he’s supposed to do after all. He’s usually used as an example by most teachers, much to his dismay.

⚡️ Outside of school, he has prefers to keep only in touch with a few friends. It’s not that he dislikes the other’s. He just considers those people his classmates rather than friends.

• I think it's much more likely that Qin, rather than meeting Reader when he's in Valhalla, met her when he was alive, specifically when Chun Yan came into his life.

• Chun Yan was very adrift after what happened with her son, however, one day when she went to the market, she came across something unpleasant. A man leading a little girl tied up, as if she were a dog.

• This girl, as you can guess, was Reader.

• Chun Yan didn't even think about it when she broke the guy's jaw, telling him he was a pig for buying a girl so young, taking the rope off him and taking Reader on her shoulders before running away.

• You could say that Chun Yan is Reader's Shinobu here. She's the one who bathed her, dressed her and was generally her mother and teacher until they met Yin Zheng.

• Honestly, Reader was prepared for a hellish and capricious child, but she ran into this mass of nerves. She couldn't help but empathize with his situation, so she tried to befriend him.

• This was the first real interaction with another child their age FOR BOTH, Zheng was used to being ignored and looked down upon for being a “cursed child” and reader was so reserved and scared of the world that she didn't like to socialize. So at first neither of them knew what to do.

• Luckily for Zheng, reader didn't have the same kind of stigma as other people, she never saw him as different because of his background, and she wanted to be his friend sincerely, so Zheng began to become very attached to her.

• During the two years that Chen Yan was their bodyguard and caregiver, she could notice how they had become very close.

• On the one hand, reader really only talked to Zheng, he was one of the few people she felt safe with (along with Chen of course), and Zheng showed his more cheerful and playful side when reader was around.

• Doing things like giving lots of hugs, kisses on the forehead or face, bringing her nice things he found outside, etc.

• There were times when Chen would come back from an errand and find the two of them asleep in Zheng’s bed, cuddling, very close together…

• It was something that worried Chen to a certain extent, how they seemed to have no notion of the limits in terms of closeness, or how Zheng reacted when Reader was not within reach, his reaction when other people were mean to Reader…

• Because of that, Chen refrained from telling the prince about how she and Reader had met, since, knowing him, that would send him into a frenzy. And while his current behavior was… strange, it was nothing too worrying.

• Now, when Chen died, reader really had nowhere to go, so she stayed with Qin, where while she didn't have any status like the other nobles, she received plenty of luxuries and privileges, clothing, food, and accessories with a quality (and resemblance) similar to that of the emperor.

• That, plus their lack of limits regarding displays of affection (especially PHYSICAL affection) made many generals and other nobles insist that Qin get married as soon as possible, or at least, take a concubine (from the nobility).

• And Qin, being the little shit that he is, had them talk to him about all this with reader on him lap, while they ate.

• And guess what his response was?

• “I thought it was obvious that I'm only interested in marrying (Kanao)”

• And reader: “UHHHU!?”

• MOTHERFUCKER THOUGHT THEY WERE ALREADY MARRIED (partly).

• Generally speaking, having Qin Shi Huang, of all characters, as a Yandere is a wild ride, especially when he finds out what Chen tried so hard to hide about reader's past.

• Qin is many things, one of them being overprotective, so he takes the issue of reader's parents very seriously, although he assures her that he won't do ANYTHING that she has to worry about (the execution will be private and on some far away mountain so their corpses are to be eaten by animals--)

• He's a Yandere that goes from 0 to 100 very quickly.

• He enjoys that reader is so closed off and doesn't like to socialize much, it saves him work. After all, if it were up to him, she would stay in the palace with him all day, so it's nice to see her accepting this position willingly.

• Despite this, I feel like Qin likes to show off his partner, but only in specific situations where he also goes out. And he won't tolerate things like catcalls or lascivious looks. They will suffer the same fate as the reader's parents :)

• Both Qin and the reader are used to personal space being non-existent, but considering that the reader is a volunteer (in this fic at least), that makes that be SQUARED, literally the man takes his woman everywhere, she's like his emotional support.

• Thanks to this, the reader is spoiled beyond belief, if there's something that the reader wants or likes, she'll most likely get it that same day or tomorrow at the latest.Things like customized Hanfus, hairpins made of special materials, ladies-in-waiting who do everything for her, etc.

• I got this random idea that Qin likes to feed reader directly(with the chopsticks), even going so far as to taste her food first in case of poisoning (if it turns out to be poisoned, he gives it to someone he dislikes to eat, kills two birds with one stone!).

• Overall, since Qin knows how to cover his tracks, reader lives happily with her husband. It's not such a bad life after all

Beelzebub

• Now, Beelzebub is a different case, it is much more likely that he meets the reader when she is an adult. Maybe through her equivalent to Shinobu.

• We know that Beelzebub is very involved in the whole genetics and science thing, all to find something that can kill him. It wouldn't be crazy to think that at some point he wanted to resort to poisons to test if they would be enough to end his life (not being a direct threat).

• And for that, he needed the resources of someone versed in the subject, so he turned to this Shinobu (I'm going more for Guilla Tofana, a very famous poisoner). What he didn't take into account was that she brought a partner with her.

• That's right, reader.

• To be honest, at first Beel was a bit upset, because Guilla had told him that she was her apprentice, and he didn't want to have to deal with someone inexperienced while he worked.

• Because of this, at first Beelzebub didn't even speak to her, or if he did it was to ask her where her teacher was. He genuinely had no interest at first.

• However, Reader stayed out of the way, taking notes on everything, not interfering even once.

• She wasn't just any subordinate to Guilla, that much could be seen, but she watched everything around her very closely.

• It was better than what he had originally expected, but it was definitely... weird. New.

• Because of this, Beelzebub felt more comfortable talking to her, at first about general aspects of the experiments, although from time to time he would let out some frustration every time an experiment failed.

• Thanks to this, Reader tried to help in small ways, whether it was organizing the research documents, cleaning, bringing new samples with her notes.

• Things that Beelzebub didn't let go unnoticed, in a way it made him less stressed.

• The relationship became more cordial, even friendly.

• However, there was something that felt… off.

• Reader could tell when the place she had cleaned or organized had been turned upside down, and that happened quite often, all to spend more time in the lab. That was the least of it, she would have almost found it cute, if it weren't for other… attitudes.

• There were times when Reader and Beel would have a casual chat, and she could feel him tensing up whenever she mentioned certain people, people she spent too much time with, who she sometimes didn't come around to since she liked to hang out with them.

• Other times Reader could tell that some of her things had gone missing, like her hair ornament, and she only went missing when she went to work.

• The real red flag was when said people either disappeared or, at worst, were victims of a horrible murder, their chests ripped apart.

• There was no doubt about it, it was he. Satan. Beelzebub.

• However, it wasn't going to be easy to just walk away from him.

• Believe me, Beelzebub is almost as scared as the reader, really! At first he was so scared that since he started loving her, she would be a victim of Satan, however, she doesn't have to worry now, he will make sure that she never gets hurt! He would NEVER!

• If she agrees to stay with him until he finally dies (willingly or not), fulfilling the last wish of a demon who seeks death, he will make her as happy as he can while he lives, even at the cost of his own suffering.

• As you noticed, this relationship is screwed in many ways.

• Beelzebub is a pretty masochistic Yandere, since even if the reader hates him, he is happy as long as she is satisfied, she can harm him however she wants, hurt him, it doesn't matter, he can heal. As long as she is satisfied with his suffering, he is happy.

• He is a self-indulgent Yandere, as you can see. For the first time, someone he loves doesn't die, so you can bet he's making the most of this... in his own way.

• This is still Beelzebub, not much of a filter, kind of awkward and shy, just more obviously homicidal.

• On that note, he tries to make reader as comfortable as possible, tries to be as non-threatening as he can, tone down his tendencies a bit, go out and have normal "dates," things so she understands that he does everything based on love.

• He also shares various results of his experiments with her, just wanting to bond over something that once united them. Sometimes when Beel ends up falling asleep on his desk, reader covers him with a blanket, as a small show of empathy.

• Beelzebub acts less erratically when reader opens up about her past, how she ended up in Valhalla, etc. He tries to be more empathetic (even if it's not his thing) and not go straight to the blood (because he doesn't want to scare her).

• Beel clings to the reader a lot, especially when he remembers Lucifer and Lilith, and needs to hold on to something, he goes to her. Crying and shaking, he no longer looks like the fearsome lord of the flies, he looks like a scared child.

• It's the kind of moment that makes it more likely that the reader will have Stockholm syndrome.

• In that case, Beelzebub couldn't be happier!

• At least now, he'll have someone who will love him until he finally dies...who knows, maybe even after.

Don’t touch. Don’t get near. There is nothing he can offer you, nothing you would want anyways. Unless you want to die, and want him to suffer immensely, it is better for you to stay away.

He does not reach out to you. Not beyond the absolutely necessary interactions the two of you must have.

So why do you stare at him with such soft eyes? Aren’t you scared? If you were wise, you would run for the hills as soon as you saw him coming like everyone else does. Sometimes he wishes you would. Even the slightest bit of affection from you might spark some sort of love. And if he loves you, he’ll kill you.

If what you’re feeling is pity for him, he doesn’t want it. He doesn’t want it! That’s what he’ll try to convey, at least. But this loneliness is so consuming. It is so consuming, you wonderful thing, so stop looking at him with those sweet expressions. He’s longing to speak to you.

He knows it’s probably a bad idea but…maybe it was possible?

To grow an attachment from afar?

If proper precautions were taken, perhaps he could grow closer to you without slaughtering you.

A letter was left on your desk, a plain envelope, with a strong perfume sprayed onto the paper, which you assumed was to mask the oddly damp smell the envelope gave off.

Beelzebub has such elegant handwriting.

You wrote him back, in the nicest penmanship you could manage. A simple letter back, answering his questions, saying you only stare because you’re curious about him. You work directly underneath Hades, and you know Beelzebub’s connected to your boss somehow, but Hades won’t tell you anything about him. Just that you should be cautious around him. So how couldn’t you be curious about him, especially when he looks so sad all of the time? He keeps to himself, doesn’t speak to anyone else…apparently has lots of free time for projects…

You ask him what he’s always working on in his office? Lab? You’re not sure. He’s never let you inside, only answering you at his door, and then promptly shutting it as soon as your business has concluded with him. You’ve only ever caught a glimpse of the interior, and felt bad for your invasive curiosity about what was in there, so you pushed anything you might’ve stolen a glance at into the back of your memory.

Per his instructions, you slid your letter under his door. You didn’t linger at his door, didn’t hear anything inside either. He simply waited for you to walk away before he snatched the letter up, brought it to his desk, and delicately peeled the envelope open, to preserve even the paper your letter was delivered in.

He carefully reads each word of your one page letter. And then rereads it. Again and again and again. The paper smells nice. Not like the lavender he used on the letter he sent to you. It was faint, but something more intimate, personal. Your favorite perfume…given how subtle the scent, he suspected you must’ve held the letter close to yourself for a second, unintentionally getting your perfume on it.

The last time he’d ever smelled something this sweet was back when Lilith was alive. So sweet it’s almost sickening to a god like him, who’s never gotten used to such a scent…but, almost like a man who continues smoking cigarettes even though they make him hack and choke, Beelzebub clutched your letter tightly, pushing it against his throat and letting the upper half of the page rest atop his nose and mouth. He stayed like this throughout the entire night, inhaling your scent, and once the scent faded he switched to rereading. And once he was certain he memorized the page in its entirety, he went back to searching for your scent on the paper.

He needed more of this. More of your words, more of your sweet scent, more of you. To go to you now may immediately result in your death, if this feeling was love like he suspected it was…so he locks his door. For now, there will be no more face to face interactions.

He pens his next letter. If this is love, the loving thing to do would be to just explain himself a bit, and the terrible curse he’s been burdened with.

Beelzebub is a god known as the Lord of the Flies, and has often been associated with gluttony, and envy. And now, as he pens his next paragraph to you, he laughs. Just one single bark of amusement as it occurs to him he may actually be living up to his name as he decides that detailing his condition to you can wait. He doesn’t want to frighten you away…talking about Satan can be second base.

You rarely saw Beelzebub before, but now? His door doesn’t ever open. Apparently he’s made arrangements for someone else to deliver him materials, and you’ve heard a few mentions that Beelzebub makes sure you’re not even in eyeshot of him before he makes one of his rare trips out of his “studio”.

Despite this confusing intensity in his avoidance of you, a letter addressed to you still appeared on your desk a few days later.

He says that he really appreciated you writing to him, and that he hopes this can continue for a while longer. But that he has no topics he could write on that might interest you. So you’ll have to forgive him if his letters are boring.

You write back that you don’t mind and that you’ll gladly read whatever he writes.

That was a few months ago.

You think, at least.

You can’t keep track of time in the darkness of…wherever you are…Beelzebub’s lab is what you’ve decided to call it…it certainly looks like one from your spot in the glass display case he’s locked you in.

He’s sitting across from you in a large leather chair, his fingers intertwined, his back hunched and his arms resting on his thighs as he does nothing more beyond watch you.

He had apologized for the uncomfortable accommodations your first night in this glass prison, but he insisted this was all for your own safety.

You didn’t understand what that meant until whatever curse in his blood finally burned hot enough to override his mind as you begged him to let you out. You quickly changed your mind as soon as his fists met the indestructible wall of your cell.

You’ve never seen anything like it, his eyes wild, so focused on getting his hands on you so he could slaughter you, going from slamming his fists repeatedly against the glass to scratching his nails along it like he could claw his way through.

This lasted the majority of the night. Scratching and hitting, the force of his efforts so hard his hands begin to bleed profusely, leaving dark red stains on the glass. From the looks of it, the bones of his fingers were cracking.

You shut your eyes, covered your ears, and instead begged that the glass was actually indestructible.

He hunted you. Hunted you until there wasn’t an ounce of energy left in his body. Until with a sickening wet final splat his hands, soaked in his own blood, finally slid off the glass as his body collapsed from sheer exhaustion, dragging red trails down the once clear wall separating you from him.

He twitched violently in the few short hours he slept, as if killing you in his dreams, nearly screaming in his sleep as he tore something invisible to shreds.

And he woke up laughing. At first just a light, almost imperceptible chuckle to himself, his bloodied and aching hands digging into his hair. It soon escalated into a bark of laughter, then a roar. He incoherently ranted to himself, you could only make out the occasional word or phrase in the otherwise nonsensical rambling…something about how the effects of his “curse” could be partially nullified if he literally could not reach you with his physical body.

“I’m so happy right now…you have nothing to be afraid of, I promise…” he pressed his open palm against the glass, now staining with the drying of his blood. His gaze is soft, remarkably sweet and vulnerable for him, but marred with madness. “As long as you stay in there, I can love you. You have no idea how long I’ve been waiting for this feeling again…”

And this time, it will last.

He spends as much time as he possibly can (which is a lot, given how little of a schedule he has) dedicated to being near you. Sometimes pacing back and forth as he watches you sleep in your prison, sometimes sitting in his chair and muttering about any subject that might give you mild amusement. Sometimes telling you how awful it is to be haunted by the phantoms of everyone he’s killed out of love, as if you were staying preserved in a glass display case because you wanted to be with him.

Sometimes his condition will flare up and he’ll once again spend an entire night trying to kill you within your cell.

But most of the time…he just enjoys watching you.

When you’ve been isolated as many years as he has, just being near someone he cares about is a rush of pure ecstasy.

And even if it’s selfish, even if he knows it’s not really what’s best for you, even though he knows that if he really loved you, he’d find a way to free you from him…he always puts it off one more night.

Because he sleeps better on the floor next to your display case.

Stay with him…just a little while longer.

Sobbing filled the cold, empty room. Blood was all (Y/n) could smell. Her own blood. The smell of death was all too familiar with her now.

She can't remember how long she was trapped in the room. She couldn't remember her family, friends or her home. All of that was taken from her.

Because of him.

Beelzebub. The god cursed by Satan. Lord of the flies. The god feared by humans and other gods.

A cold hand grazed her cheek, bringing her back to reality. (Y/n) felt his fingers twirl strands of her hair, his shallow breathing blowing on her face.

"So interesting..." His voice never failed to strike fear into the young woman's body. Beelzebub stood up, forcing the woman to follow him to another, where he experiments on those that caught his interest.

She may not be able to remember much of her past, but she could never forget how she met her tormentor.

It was just an ordinary day.

(Y/n) was a kindhearted woman, always wanting to help those in need, or simply become their friend. She was always seen with a smile that was just as glowing as the sun itself. Anyone around her would be stuck in an trance.

During the time Beelzebub was losing himself, he got one of his experiments to kidnap the goddess and bring her back alive. When she found herself in his home, she was relieved at first, but that was quickly washed away when Beelzebub began his experiments on her. Or as she puts it, torture.

Hey there, so about that old post you made about wizard reader and Tesla hcs, it actually gave an idea of a request if it seens interesting enough to write it. So, in middle age people also thought scientists were wizards and witches (especially if they tried explain certain phenomenous like the earth shape and rotation around the sun wich physics now explain, or the origin of live that biology studies till this day). Then i can see a reader who tried proceed with their studies in those times while alive but ended up facing a bit of a cruel fate for such "heresy", but in a twist of events they were brought to Valhalla just like the future scientists in our history including Tesla. So in this kind of scenario considering they were more from a physics field, but still found time in their live to know a few other areas such as chemestry (wich they would probably know as alchemy instead) and biology, would you have any headcannons for them envolving Nikola, Marie Curie if you write for her and maybe Beelzebub? Considering how good is your writting i can only imagine how amazing this would turn out to be.

Tesla is a man that had dedicate all his life to his studies, wanting nothing more than share all his knowledge to the world, so if he has the opportunity to meet another scientist he won't even think twice, not matter if you work on another field of science

It doesn't matter too much if you two meet by casuality or that you approached him, he is just happy to talk to you. Also, for him it isn't really a bad thing if you just hang out once, just being able to talk to you and know more about you work just like he share his own with you makes him happy, but if you want to keep contact and even become friends he gets excited

Although, once you two become friends expect for him too be more interested on your work and him to talk about his own, he is always so excited to know about your work as much as he loves sharing his own. Besides, if you work on another field he will be asking you a lot of things about it, he is always excited to learn new things and having a specialist who can teach him just making so ecstatic that he can't help

Most of the time you two always talk with letters or even hanging out together, he doesn't have problem for one or another and is always excited when he gets yours news

Tesla had never liked when people call him a wizard or what he does is magic, all his efforts are motivated for his love for science and the memory of his brother (that he holds close to his heart) so when people say that is magic he take it as a personal offence, and he will complain a lot about when talking to you (specially when just happen), you could try to calm him down but it won't work so is better if you just hear him rant about how is science and not magic, however if it bothers you too then will be the two of you complaining and aggresibly talking about all your own studies

Tesla end up having a pretty long life and even when he had some troubles he is pretty satisfied of it, however it wasn't the same for you since you had died some time ago, either victim of others or from your own experiments, that will afect him but won't really stop from his work, prefering to keep your memory as a motivation to continue with his work (just like he did with his brother)

Once he wake up in the Valhalla he just take a moment to apreciate everything before starting to investigate his surroundings and planing to continue with his work. Finding him again would be just as when you two first met, meeting by accident or you approaching to him, in either case he will be ecstatic not giving you even time to finish whatever you were saying before hugging you tightly (may even hold you and spin around out of excitment)

Just as always he will ask you non-stop different things, about what you have done all this time and about this place as well as telling you everything it happened after your dead, and is until he is finally done with knowing anything and everything it happened when he start thinking on resume his work

If you had already started working again in the Valhalla he ask you about your improvement and ask to see your place of work, if you hadn't is not really a trouble because he is planning to do so and, of course, he invite you to work with him, together once again

Marie Curie

Since Marie was a toddler her parents had always instilled in her the importance of the studies, and she just end loving studing and learning all she can

Even when Marie loved studing and investigation just for being a woman the world were making things difficult for her, still she just never give up and always found a way to get away with it, so she will never overlook the opportunity to meet another scientist

Even when she doesn't give importance in the gender the time where you two live do it, that is why at first she just act polite when talking to you, however for the love you two hold for science will make it easy for her to warm up with you and start to be friendly

If you two don't work on the same field of science she will take this opportunity to know more about that field, at first will be a little shy to ask about it and just ask some things when you start talking about it, but the more time you two pass together the more confidence she gets so at one point she will ask you more. On the other hand if you work in the same field of science is not a problem to her, taking the opportunity to talk a lot about it with you and your ideas (and this time without being too shy at first)

She is always happy to recive news about you, and even when she loves knowing about your work and ideas she is always up to talk about other things. Also, when she start to open up more with you she start to complain about how society is so unfair whit woman, leaving them with almost no option just for their gender

Marie is always curious and searching for more knowledge, so she is always excited to know more about your work, at first she is just happy to hear what you like to share, but the more time you two pass together the more she start to ask you for details about it and about your improvements, just like she does too, at first just share her work in a pretty superficial way but as you two get closer she trust you more with her work and give you details

Also, when you two get a closer relasionship and you win her fully trust is when she start telling you about her investigation with radioactivity, since is a pioneering research she prefer to talk about it in person with you so she can express her ideas and hypothesis better (along with introduce you to Pierre since they are working together)

Marie end up dying due to high exposure to radioactive materials so we can tell that she died by her own investigation, however she didn't regret it since she enjoyed all her life doing what she loved. If you encounter a similar fate before her she will be really affected for losing you, she had grow to care a lot for you and it would take her some time to continue, but she is completly sure that you were happy for the life you had so she decide to continue with her work with the memory of you close to her heart

When she wake up in the Valhalla she was really surprised, it took her a long time to realice what is happening because she is taking a lot of time to appreciate her surroundings, a little nervous to move from where she is because she doesn't even know where she is, but brave as always she brush off her worries and start looking around

When you two meet again she will be shocked, recognizing you in an instant and still freezing on the spot, it doesn't matter if you were the one who approached to her or her finding you she still freeze, slowly reacting by calling softly your name before running to hug you in a emotional and thighly hug

Without being able to calm down she separate from the hug minutes after and looking to all over you she asks you what you were doing there, passing hours that felt like a single moment talking about everything that happened after your dead and the place you were in

Marie doesn't think on continue with her work imediatly, so if it isn't your idea she will be the one who brings it up after enjoying the peace and beauty of the Valhalla and your company a little longer

Beelzebub

Beelzebub has never been really interested in others, not humans nor gods, and since everyone just avoid him and even hate him he just doesn't see why even try to approach to anyone

He could be consider an scientist for the work he taked after meeting Hades, but still he is mainly focused on create someone stronge enough to kill him

That is why, for you to meet it has to be totally by your hand, maybe on day you are lucky enough and meet him, either casually or intentionally, or maybe you get into troubles (while trying to investigate something) and you end up meeting him, either way he doesn't really care about you (although if you were causing problems he may give you a warning)

Even when he can be consider a scientist he isn't interested in other's work either, so you have to be stubborn and insist, probably by hearing the rumors about his work you end up interested, still he find your insistence annoying

It could get the point that either you manage to sneak in his laboratory and he, tired of it, just let you be or that, again tired of you insistence he let you see what he is working on with the condition that you leave him alone, although once he let you in you weren't planning to leave

He finds you pretty annoying at first and may even threaten you if you don't leave him alone, but as time pass and you still insist on being with him and seeing his work he just give up and let you stay (he isn't going to accept it, but your interest on him and the admiration you have for his work flustered him)

He won't really talk much with you, essentially just answer whatever questions and curiosity you have for what he does, if you give him suggestion he most of the time just hum or ignore you, but in reallity he hear what you say and even really consider some of them

He doesn't ask you about your personal life or about when you were alive but if you want to talk about it he won't stop you, again it seems like he doesn't pay attention to you but he actually does and end up pretty interesed on your previous life and what you investigate back then, he even mentally make a comparation between your human life and the gods culture and knowledge (not to judge, he just find it curious)

He really didn't expected that back then people accuse you of been a wizard/witch or say that what you did was magic, it surprise him but at the same time he doesn't find it strange, what surprise him the most is that even existed a threat against scientists for the heresy (humans could be as cruel as gods, huh?), that is when he gets more interesed

He doesn't express it but he likes to have you around and end up really liking hearing your stories and ideas, and, even when he never let the two of you get a close relasionship, he had made clear that you are free to come over his study whenever you want if it help you continue with your investigation

You notice how some of the male workers has gone missing. Yes you're not stupid to realize that it was Poseidon doing. How you know?

Simple you were talking to the butler the other days and then just now a maid reported to you that the butler had resigned. Coincidence?

Here's another situation. You were talking to the chef about your craving as you were talking and laughing Poseidon walked past both of you and the chef trembled. He quickly excused himself. That's not all the next day you heard the chef got eaten by a shark!! How cruel is that!! Coincidence? I THINK NO!

So thus, you test this theory. You ask a certain 'someone' to pretend as a male worker and talk to you happily. As Poseidon notices your eyes widen. You were getting touchy with that workers.

Then, the butler lean closer to you from his point of view it looks like he's kissing you.

His face darkens and he quickly throws his trident towards the male. What shocked him the most is that the male manages to capture the trident even before it can hit him. "Now now lord Poseidon~" the male chuckle. He recognized that voice.

"Hermes...what are you doing here.." he walk towards him. "Aunty here was wondering about the Olympus"

"absolutely no! She won't go there I forbid her from going!" Hermes just shook his head.

"uncle...if you keep aunty in the dark it only worsen her mental health. I'm speaking from experience." Hermes reply (hint ii 🫣)

"you know nothi--"

"I still regret it uncle... it's because of me she's crazy. All because of obsession." He add and walk away disappearing into the shadows. You just tilt your head. "Poseidon?"

You call to him softly catching his attention.

He lead you away while still glaring at nothing.

You pout and jump to hug his neck. He quickly catches you. "What is it" he ask.

"sorry I promise I won't do it again..." You hug him. "....why don't you run away from me" the sudden question freeze you.

"well you see no matter where I run you always find me right? So what's the point" he was shock.

"is that why you never intended to run away?" You nodded at his answer.

He softly kisses you and smiles genuinely. "Thank you for accepting me....y/n" you smile and hug him again happily.

"you remember my name! Yay"

He just shook his head and carry you to the dining room.
