when everything's made to be broken (i just want you to know who i am) by @hoteadepresso pt 1
‘Stop.’ Will forced out, shaking his head in disbelief, hurt painting his features ‘Mike, that’s not funny. It’s mean.’
He thought he was joking. Mike was throwing his bleeding heart onto his floor, and he thought it was some sort of a prank.
Fuck.
‘You really think I would joke about it?’ his voice sounded like it came from far away, weak and broken. His hand twitched, yearning to touch Will, to take his hand, to brush his fingertips against his warm skin for just one second even if that was all he could ever get.
late happy birthday present for Alex, the bestestest person out there!!!
a little bit of backstory;
Once upon a time user @hoteadepresso wrote a fic (click here!!) (read it, its fucking amazing!!!!!!) which I immediately wanted to make fanart of, so, ofc it took me like, over a year to finish just this pt 1 <33
thus, the artstyle changes, which are a thing in this thing

Stained Glass Greenhouse Set
It seemed impossible but I did it! 😁 The set include: Door, Window, Roof and matching Roof Trim. For each item (except the roof trim) there is the stained glass version and the basic with transparent glass so you can alternate them if you prefer (in the pic above I made some greenhouses as example), they are very versatile even for "normal" houses.
For the door and window unfortunately I couldn't use the ones from the Greenhouse Haven kit (transparency problems) so I used the ones from Spa Day, but I made everything base game compatible! 😉
Last but not least, I reached 1K followers so thank you so much!!! ❤️I hope you'll enjoy this set!! 😊

this isn’t going to be coherent but i am stuck on the presence of smoking in may december. joe tells us he never talks to his father about what happened, but he’s able to smoke cigarettes with him, neither of them saying anything. his son teaches him how to smoke a joint on the roof, how it’s different than a cigarette. elizabeth is reliant on an inhaler and nebulizer to the point when georgie smokes near her she makes a point of coughing and telling him to blow it away from her. georgie, who was joe’s peer, who was the reason for gracie being around joe before she could manipulate the pet store job. the fates of joe’s little sisters are left unclear but we’re told one of them was asthmatic like elizabeth. at the start of the movie joe is grilling at the behest of gracie, but she can’t stand to be in bed with him afterwards because she says he smells charcoal. joe tells her that they have a gas grill, so what she’s smelling is smoke.

i think some of us in this fd read manga/ watch anime with their ass and not eyes because i cannot explain this hc in other way.
there was never a single time in this story when katsuki genuinely wanted izuku to die. his friends pointed out that his behaviour before the sludge villain accident was too much and his words were too far, meaning that he usually doesn't pull shit like that. horikoshi said that he went too overboard with this scene. his va said that katsuki wouldn't be able to forgive himself if izuku actually jumped. he would take a swan dive right after him, i might say.
let's recall their first training in the UA. katsuki is attacking izuku with his strongest moves and everyone's worried that izuku is about to die. and yk what? katsuki's sure that izuku wouldn't die, izuku would dodge, otherwise he'd never went so hard on him.
kats dreamed about getting into UA, and even when he craves strength he still. wants. to. be. A. HERO. if he was ready to kill why not became a villain instead? no restrictions and endless ways to improve, like, watching "top 5 endeavour moves" from stolen laptop.
bakugou's mean, not straight up cruel.
i need to go, touch some grass, reunite with the nature (do my actual analysis for university). i'm done with the internet for today

My idea of what the Maitland-Deetz house could look like using the musical set, the movie set, and Victorian homes of that style and era. The musical set doesn’t really line up from scene to scene, but I did my best.
One square ≈ 1 yard. 9 feet is the historically accurate height for the ceilings but I wasn’t really thinking about the thickness of the floor until it was too late :/ Imagine 1 foot between each floor for me please, I don’t want redraw all that siding
I can’t figure out why they made the chimney so wide (besides the scrapped turntable) but the best practical explanation I can think of is a masonry heater or a witch’s crook, which also explains why it doesn’t line up with the fireplace 100%.
Edit: Floor plan in the notes
A masonry heater pulls more heat out of the smoke and into the house. A witch’s crook is a bend in a chimney so that witches couldn’t fly down it into the house, a common feature in older New England houses.
I’m not an architect but I tried to minimize potential water damage, since this house as portrayed on stage was not designed with drainage in mind.
Interesting (to me) side note: I was trying to find a reference image for the tank house, where water would be stored after it was pumped by windmill. I discovered that those are really only a thing in California. In most Victorian homes the water tank is in a room in the attic, while in California separate enclosed wooden structures are built nearby. My guess why would be that homes in California are usually only one story, I think to deal with the heat, and the water tank still needed to be elevated. I don’t know if there’s any evidence for it, but maybe the masonry heater in the attic would help keep the tank from freezing in New England winters?
