Hi, I’m writing this post on behalf of Shaima and her family @familygazaamal from Gaza. They have reached out to me asking for help, their campaign has been moving very slowly and they're very far from their goal. After a month since their campaign was created it’s received 145 donations amounting to (at the time of writing) $1804USD out of a target of $30000.
Shaima is a mother of four: Magdy, the oldest, who she describes as a diligent student and the owner of a cat he is really attached to; Walid, 9, who loves football and admires stars like Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo and Mohamed Salah; Abdul Rahim, 8; and Amal, a little girl who is just 1 year old, who’s had her first birthday a couple of months ago and hasn’t really seen her father, because he left for Egypt to get medicines two weeks before October 7, when Amal was fourty days old, after which he and his family couldn’t see each other due to the crossing being closed. Amal is constantly exposed to diseases due to immune deficiency as well as food and water contamination, and she misses her father. Shaima has also suffered greatly due to his absence, a feeling she says she can’t describe, and all the difficulties she faced in order to take care of her four children on her own. Their conditions are desperate, they have been displaced over five times and have been living in a 3 square meter tent, 3 square meters for five people and all their needs, in the intense heat and an environment with many reptiles and insects, they can barely manage to sleep and rest.
I’m appealing to those who have the means of helping by donating, and asking the rest to share this post so that their campaign may hopefully receive more funds and reach its goal faster.

Okay. I was really upset yesterday. I expected (and still expect) a wave of mockery and jokes about Portugal and especially Ronaldo.
In 2004, at the home championship, somehow the Portugal NT made me fall in love with them. It was Cristiano's first championship and I remember myself crying with him in the final (Greece, I remember everything 🤣).
Now it's 2024. It's very likely that this will be Ronaldo's last championship (although who knows, maybe he'll change his mind), and I still love their team. During this time, new talented players have grown up and who are lighting up the team.
But I want to say that it's been damn cool to live in the Cristiano era for 20 years 😄 Watching how he develops as a player, a person, and how children follow his example. Remember how in Qatar he put down the Coke bottles and asked for water? I know examples from life, how after this gesture several people's children refused to drink soda, because their idol does not drink it.
I didn't get to rejoice this year like I did in 2016 (I yelled so much that I fell off my chair 🤣). I hope to rejoice in two years, when I will wear the national team jersey which I bought in the official store in Porto in 2019 (I ran like in Disneyland that day😄), bragging my head off again and swearing at the TV.
Thanks for the emotions, my favorite national team! I love you with all my heart!
Força, Portugal!
Since 2004 and forever.

Welcome For five months I've been trying to find a friend to create a campaign for me. My children are living under bombardment in the war 😭 Please consider them your children and help them 🙏🙏 Stand by my side to save and protect my children. They haven't gone to school for a year 🙏😢😢 Donate to save my children's lives 🍉 🙏🇵🇸 We live in very difficult and desperate circumstances, and the worst of all is that the fear that haunts me increases day by day. Help me provide basic life needs.
Hello, my name is Brooke Coke and I am organizing this fundraiser on behalf of Amal and her family. The main goal of this fundraiser is to help Amal's newborn nephew get urgent treatment for his foot, which has been severely damaged due to Israeli shelling. This fundraiser also aims to raise money for Amal's entire family to help them get food, water, and shelter. Here is their story as told by Amal's mother: I am Shaima from Palestine, Gaza. I am a mother of four children, Magdy Walid, Abdel Rahim, and Amal. My husband traveled to Egypt to get medicines two weeks before the October 7 war on Gaza. I faced very great challenges and responsibilities for my four children in the absence of my husband, as he was traveling and the crossing was closed and we could not see each other. The extent of the suffering I was feeling cannot be described. I reach out to you today with a heavy heart and ask for your urgent assistance. I have left my home and been displaced more than 6 times with my children. I live in the war-torn Gaza area, facing unimaginable challenges, with water shortages, food scarcity, and constant threats to their safety. Magdy the Great, dreams of decorating his room with the best furniture and appliances, to build a future with his three younger brothers. - Walid, 9 years old, loves football very much and admires stars such as Messi, Ronaldo and Mohamed Salah. He hasn't seen a game in nine months and missed the entire school year without any education. Abdul Rahim, the youngest, is 8 years old. He often says: “Stop the war - we are children - we want to live.” But does anyone in the world hear his screams and respond to him? Living in despair This family has been living for nine months in a small tent, no more than 3 meters in size. Imagine spending every day, every night, and every moment in such cramped conditions. They need urgent support to rebuild their home and regain a sense of normalcy. Amal’s nephew, who was born a few days before the war, and her cousin, who went to Egypt for treatment, did not see her. Amal's infant nephew has a problem with his peripheral nerves, especially his left hand, and it also means a problem with his right foot, because there are platinum nails inside it, which restrict the movement of the foot. He will need to be evacuated to Egypt as soon as possible to treat his nerve damage and increase his quality of life as he grows. How can you help? This family needs your help to move to Egypt, where they can find safety and start rebuilding their lives. Every donation, whatever the amount, can make a big difference. Please donate to help this family escape the horrors of war and start over. Spread the word If you can't donate, you can still help by sharing this story with five of your closest friends. Together, we can make a difference in the lives of Shaima's family and give them the hope and support they desperately need. Donate now and be part of their journey to safety and recovery. Thank you for your kindness and generosity.

Oh yeah, I remember.
Ronaldo, sat beside Portugal manager Fernando Santos ahead of his team's match against Hungary, irritably set aside two bottles of Coke, then picked up a bottle of water and said, "Água!" — the Portuguese word for water.

ENGLISH / PORTUGUÊS
Cristiano Ronaldo makes Coca-Cola lose $4 billion on the stock market. On Monday (14), before an interview that preceded the match between Portugal and Hungary for the Euro 2020 (played in 2021), Cristiano Ronaldo took the Coca-Cola bottles from the counter, placed a bottle of water and said the name of this drink, meaning it is healthier than soda. Ronaldo's attitude caused the company to suffer devaluation, losing around US$ 4 billion on the New York Stock Exchange.
Ronaldo is very careful with his food. He doesn't even drink fruit juices for breakfast. During the day he drinks mostly water, eats six small meals, which almost always include fruits, vegetables and light proteins like chicken and fish, all without oil.
.
