Once Regulus finds out that Remus kept the fact about animagi being able to accompany werewolves he is P.I.S.S.E.D.

And so hurt, believing his boyfriend doesn’t want him there during that vulnerable time.

Remus, almost in tears, begs for forgiveness and explains that he couldn’t live with him hurting one of his friends, his life, nay, his will to live, his soul, would be entirely destroyed should he ever harm Regulus.

Regulus still goes to the marauders to get help for becoming an animagus.

On the first time he joins them, the wolf… was as careful with that little black cat as they had never seen before. Running slow enough that the tiny animal can keep up, stopping when Regulus needs breaks and when they curl up, the wolf wraps itself around the black fluff ball, licking a disgruntled Reg‘s head.

If the marauders could laugh in animal form, they would roll on the floor, unable to breathe.

The next morning, Remus is angry that Regulus risked himself like that, but has to grumpily admit to his smug boyfriend that he has never before felt so good after a full moon. Still sore, but better than any other time.

The tiny cat is now always with them.

And if the marauders sometimes wake up to a black cat on Remus‘ bed, well… he has enough dirt on all of them to make sure they don’t say a peep.

Unpopular opinion #2

Severus wasn't in love with Lily.

He had an unhealthy emotional attachment towards her because she was his first friend, the first person ever to be nice to him and whom he could trust. There isn't a single paragraph or sentence in the canon material that implies his feelings for her were romantic, beyond the patronus thing, and that doesn't necessarily mean it was romantic.

She was his best friend, they grew up together, and Severus' life outside of her was miserable (abusive parents, bullying, bigoted housemates, the death eater cause grooming him), so it makes perfect sense he thinks of her to cast a patronus. His only happy memories were probably with her.

She was his family, his anchor, and I dare to say, his sister. And when she died because of the prophecy he overheard, he felt like he killed her himself. He condemned the only person who ever cared about him.

That's why I can't stand the common interpretation of Snape as this lovesick/simp/obsessed stalker in memes and fanon stuff. He literally said it himself, in the books:

"I thought we were friends? Best friends?"

He didn't sound disappointed, or sad, or bothered. He was stating the truth of what he felt. He wanted Lily as his friend, nothing more. And like any normal person, he was broken when he lost her.
