completely enraptured at the thought of brienne initiating a kiss for the first time and she just stands very stiff, firm grasp on jaime’s shoulder, leans in for like a very quick peck and that’s it. but her face is on fire btw, and she rehearsed that in her head 15 mins prior and she was also thinking up some lines before that like she was going for a more casual approach (“you have a little something-“ kiss!) or maybe something a bit more confident and direct (“can I kiss you? ACK…!!!!!!!!!ooouuuugghh…) but in the end she didn’t get to say any of that bc she literally just walks up to him and kisses him very quickly and she’s like 🫡 my job here is done, see ya. meanwhile jaime is stunned, completely disarmed, trying to process that HIS shy sweet brienne just kissed him so very nonchalantly and he’s like Huh..?? 🧍‍♀️ then huh…!!!!!!! ��😼😼😺 then he’ll just very briskly and casually just catch up to her theatrically cough like ahem AHEM. i did not know you were a thief, stealing kisses that. i thought you were such an honourable knight but you are nothing more than a scoundrel, a rogue that steal kisses from unassuming maids..!! 🧐🤨 you have to make up for what you did ser knight or else I’ll think u have no honor. another kiss, please. and he will be very delighted and annoying about it

#dai #dragon age #dragon age inquisition #da inquisitor #the inquisitor #adaar #inquisitor #inquisitor adaar #taashath adaar #some fun facts about her that im hiding in the tags!!#taashath was born under the qun and used to be a tamassran! the left the qun when she discovered one of her #children- her last child in fact- had magic. she didnt want him to be taken as a saarebas and so she tried to leave with him #her kid was killed in the process of leaving :(. she snapped and. surprise. she has magic too. shes just done a really good job of hiding it #she manages to escape with the help of one of the soldiers assigned to protecting her (meraad who another inquisitor in a different run)#but doesnt exactly remember How. all she remembers is waking up on the shore of wycome without meraad #eventually she was found by the valo-kas and taken in by them. they helped teach her how to properly control her magic and they took care of #her as she slowly got back on her feet.#and then she became the inquisitor.#she allied with the mages. conscripted the wardens. and made celene gaspard and briala shake hands. she also sacrificed loghain in the fade.#she doesnt have a canonical romance BUT. she had a few flings with some of the others and spent years pining after vivienne.#she ends up close friends with dorian bull cole and sera! she... does not end up friends with blackwall. but she does spare him #she Was close with solas at the start of inquisiton but she struggled to connect with him. his interactions with some of the other #companions didnt help. but she does care about him!! its just. difficult. it was difficult with sera and dorian at first too. and bull #she is completely Unsure what to think of varric but they are friends. and taashi absolutely adores josephine. leliana scares her just a bit #and she struggles to intetact with cullen but she does care for him. cassandra ends up as her divine (from a game glitch i made canon) even #though she did everything she could to get vivienne on the throne.#shes also trans!!! very big bonding point between her bull and krem is that she is aqun-athlok. everytime dorian or varric mentions mae she #goes :0 as well. uhhh yeah! i love her sm. if anyone has any questions pls pls 🥺🙏 send em

another thing i dont like about the belief that soulmates are a strictly romantic thing is like... people in this fandom will be like "aiura and saiki are only not dating because hes aroace" which does not make sense and is weird 😭 so like you think soulmates have to be romantic but it can cancel out if one of them is physically incapable of feeling romantic feelings... which, even though its STRICTLY romantic in your mind, is apparently totally possible and somehow more acceptable than just not dating your "soulmate" because you dont like them like that

"theyre not dating AND hes aroace" makes sense. "theyre not dating BECAUSE hes aroace" does not make sense.

#im definitely not properly phrasing this but i feel like other aroace people will get what i mean #it sets up this weird 'you WOULD like them like that if you werent aroace' thing which is... ough not a good thing to say imo #it makes it seem like them being soulmates means theyre SUPPOSED to be together #and him being aroace is like an anomaly that went wrong #does anyone get what i mean #can we all please just accept that soulmates doesnt automatically mean two people are romantically in love #it makes everything make sense and also not gross #idk maybe this is personal maybe im the only one bothered by this #but i dont think so #im not going to go into why i dont like when people use aroace as a term when they actually strictly mean 'romance averse aromantic'#or 'non-partnering aromantic'#but i digress #whole other conversation #meows post #also i feel like i should tack onto this that yes i was reminded of this because of a post on here but in no way am i targeting them #sometimes this is just a really simple phrasing issue and they probably dont mean it like this at all

Couldn’t decide if he’d have his same body type or not but then drawing a skinny lanky Gort hurt my bones so the answer is yes

I could see him having an Avatar if for no other reason than to do field research things/because (according to him) he’s richer than god and deserves nice things. Like a body that doesn’t have achey knees.

That being said, I am leaning towards him not having one and mostly only going outside via mechs/specifically once he befriends Vat’il

#that also being said. Ollie Akana's standin Artie Nam so far~ at least the Artie before he gets "recruited" by the Drakkin Stand-in to spy on, guard and 'service' Jack’s stand in Ivan. Artie and Ollie are practically the same person. Prickly, no nonsense, does not believe in ghosts or the supernatural, you cannot tell this man a thing. so so opinionated. does not like relying on anyone for anything. At the very least here, the Amelia stand in is alive and fine, and she and Artie broke up fairly amicably.

#Ivan holds off on romance till Drakkon actively begins romantically pursuing Night Swan #Ivan would have gotten with Nelly #but Nelly happens to be the younger doppelgänger of Drakkon which abruptly makes the concept of Nelly and Ivan getting together #way too weird for either of them #once Ivan becomes more receptive to Artie aside from helping him survive and befriending him #is when the two properly get together #probably for the best for Artie to walk into feelings first
