Why You're Wrong About Rachel Zegler
This is a long post, but there's a lot of context missing from the Rachel Zegler "discourse" that I thought I could add with my history of watching this unfold from the beginning.
The Snow White Thing
You probably know this part. There's a curated video of Rachel going viral, framed to make her seem like she's never seen Snow White, she hates the story, she hates the character, she's ungrateful, and single-handedly ruined Disney's brand. The clips from these videos are not new— they were released nearly a year ago in September 2022 and nobody cared about them at the time. Why? Because all the full interviews she did that day at the Disney Exo in 2022 showed a young, charming woman who was excited and proud to be cast in an iconic role. The interviews were very well received and it was a non story. Now that it's been edited down and cut together in a malicious way, and the people sharing them are purposefully misquoting her, they've twisted the context. Normally, this would be a non controversy. Even if that video wasn't taken out of context and spliced together to make her seem like she hates the film, most people wouldn't care. The issue is the response to the video.
Let's get this out of the way: Rachel Zegler doesn't hate Snow White. She relayed that she was afraid of the forest scene as a child and didn't revisit it again until after she was cast in the role. She has since then watched it several times and has expressed for YEARS before that interview came out that she was incredibly honored and grateful to be playing such an iconic Disney princess. If you watch the full videos that those clips came from, this comes across immediately to anyone with their own mind. If you hate someone for being scared of something as a child, I don't know what to tell you. If the role was being given to the biggest Snow White fan, you would be correct that she doesn't deserve it. Unfortunately for you, this role requires talent and Rachel has the Golden Globe and critical acclaim from people who matter within the industry (her peers and critics).
You know who does hate their beloved characters in beloved franchises but the general public still applauds them? Harrison Ford, Sean Connery, Daniel Craig, and Robert Pattinson. They've all expressed outright contempt for the roles and the films they were part of, but nobody cared. People had fun with their quotes but they still respected them. Rachel said nothing even closely resembling their remarks, but she's being torn to shreds. Are we seeing a pattern here?
Rachel never said a single bad thing about the character or the animated film— she said that it was outdated and that set people over the edge, foaming at the mouth to have her burned at the stake. If you think it would be perfectly fine to have a movie about an abused 14 year old girl run away to play housemaid for a bunch of men, get kissed in her sleep/death by an adult man, and then wake up to fall into his arms in 2024, that's certainly a hot take. If you're against remakes, direct your ire at Disney. But if you truly think that plot would work with young girls today, you're the one who's out of touch. It would do far more harm than good to portray a young woman in that light.
She also never said that there was anything wrong with romance or love. She said that the new Snow White wasn't only dreaming of that. I can't stress enough that this wasn't her decision… she was describing the plot of the new film that was written by Greta Gerwig and approved by Disney. There's a prince in the film and he will also have a more developed personality and storyline. If you have a problem with the writing, wait until it comes out so you can write your strongly worded letter to Greta. If you have a problem with the concept in general, take it up with Disney. There's no need for you to be defensive over hurting the legacy of a multi-billion dollar company or a 87 year old cartoon written by a proud racist antisemite. This is the most confusing part of the hate campaign to me because it wasn't even her opinion— she was literally describing the plot of the film she had nothing to do with. It also isn't a new thing. Disney actors have been promoting their newer films this way for years.
It's perfectly okay to like things that are problematic. It's becoming an issue that we refuse to acknowledge that maybe some things we love are harmful. What we can't do is justify why it's not problematic, and in fact everyone who calls it out is the problem and NOT their precious cartoon. The 1937 Snow White was an amazing feat of animation. It's a classic for a reason. But it was also Hitler's favorite film and was directed by a white supremacist (the one who is "rolling in his grave" due to Rachel's existence, according to his son). Things don't exist in a vacuum and we can't ignore the bad parts.
How We Got Here:
The thing that everyone is missing is the source of this campaign. This started in September of 2020 when transphobic actor Gina Carano made fun of trans people by changing her pronouns to beep/bop.boop. Rachel indirectly called her out by coming to the defense of the trans community.
She never called out Gina by name (though she rightfully could have). Mind you, Rachel's first film hadn't come out yet. Nobody knew who she was outside of those of us who were anticipating West Side Story and were fans of her covers on YouTube. She was a "nobody" in the industry. Take this part with a grain of salt because I can't confirm it, but Gina and her fans directly blame Rachel for her being banned from Twitter. Again, I really don't think that matters as she's harmful to the trans community and shouldn't have a platform. What does matter is that fans of Gina (which, let's be real, are just fans of transphobia) have been stalking Rachel's every move since then. Unfortunately for them, there wasn't much they could use against her other than to call her woke and #snowbrown when she was cast a year later as the Disney princess. The noise has always been there, but unless you were a fan of hers, you probably didn't hear about it. It wasn't until two years after this that they had something else against her.
If you've recently seen a video of Rachel crying circulating that claims to be her reaction to the recent Snow White backlash, it's an old video. It's from a vlog from her youtube channel posted in June 2022. It was in response to these exact same transphobic anti-woke conservatives who thought that they had something when she did an interview on the red carpet of the Shazam premiere. When asked why she joined the DC universe, she responded "I needed a job." It was generally well received by most people who thought it was cute and funny, but those who were waiting in the shadows latched onto it as an excuse to send her death threats.
The video was also about a month after she was invited to present at the 2022 Oscars and was made to seem like she bullied the Academy (as a no name newcomer, mind you) into letting her attend. In reality, a fan left a comment on her Instagram asking what she was wearing to the event. She responded that she wasn't invited but would be rooting for everyone from her couch in her boyfriend's pajamas. It was the public who demanded she get an invite and the Oscar's must have agreed that it was very odd that the lead actress of a film that was nominated for Best Film wouldn't get an invite. Whether it was an oversight on their part or a scheduling issue with Rachel's filming, I truly think there was no malicious intent from either party. Keep in mind, she used to be very active with her fans (she's a huge fangirl of things herself and has always had a strong relationship with her fans) and she wasn't used to her comments becoming articles and national tv segments. This was the first time it happened to her. It appears she learned that she's not just a girl who posts on YouTube anymore and she's going to be put under a microscope for every move she makes. She has since shut down her Instagram comments and rarely interacts with fans outside of liking comments these days because of this.
I know this is long, but I need people to understand where this is all coming from. It didn't just happen out of nowhere. It's an orchestrated campaign built by violent conservatives, and thousands of women who saw Barbie this summer are hopping on the bandwagon to beat another woman into submission because they have a lot of internalized misogyny to deal with. She's not smug, you just hate women. It's okay to find people annoying, but it's valuable to look into why you think that. If you see a confident young woman expressing views that don't actually harm anyone and you think she needs to be "humbled" and "put in her place" by the entire internet dogpiling her, you've lost your mind. Using "body language experts" (fake job) to diagnose her as a psychopath is so vile. Everytime someone mentions her name online, the comments beneath it are full of the most violent, misogynistic, racist things I've ever seen. If you're contributing to that, you've chosen your side. Reevaluate or seek help.
I'm tired of seeing this happen to young women. We let this happen to Jennifer Lawrence, Brie Larson, Millie Bobby Brown, Halle Bailey, and Jenna Ortega. It's one thing to call out celebrities and hold them accountable when they're doing something actively harmful, but that's not what this is about. That's never been what this is about. We pick these girls to pieces and examine them and pull them apart to justify our hatred of young women who rise to success too quickly for our liking. We dogpile and try to stamp out the flame before they burn too bright. Barbie is still in theaters and you all loved it, yet you're demanding that a bright girl with a big future be small and submissive and humbled because you have issues. That's not feminism. You're just the girls who would have bullied Weird Barbie for using her hands too much when she talks.
#rachel zegler#snow white#disney#barbie#rachelzegler#there's also misinformation about her standing up for ansel elgort which isn't true#sorry but she hates that man#you're thinking about ariana debose who defended him#we'll get into that later

Now that there's an animated adaptation of Midnight Sun coming, and given the industry's recent track record (see: Minecraft Movie), what's the worst, bad faith, cash grab adaptation idea you can imagine? I figure if we inoculate ourselves then the reality won't suck so much.
My nightmare: Streaming has a long history of making shitty attempts at "adult animation", so we'll get an Edward who constantly cusses and does lewd jokes. It'll be like the HBO adult animated Velma (Scooby Doo) show where the writers' disdain for the characters fills every scene. The first episode will focus on how Carlisle helps plan a murder of some overly suspicious deputy so they can keep living in Forks.
Anyways, worst case theories? So we can feel better when it's not THAT bad? Or else use the apollo prophecy meme on your post a year or two from now.
My 'realistic' prediction
Twilight: The Edgy Animated Adult Series with Twelve Times More Drugs and Swearing
Oh man, yours is worse than mine. I mean this guessing the future business is a little silly in general, but I think that wouldn't happen as Twilight's not...
How do I put this?
Scooby Doo is a beloved, vintage, IP that's so well-known it's a part of American culture/Americana. It's in that weird place where it's acceptable to do edgy reboots of it because everyone already knows the premise of the Scooby gang, each individual character, the bad guys, and their mysteries.
You don't have to explain who any of the characters are supposed to be, so you get a "ah ha ha ha isn't it funny that Velma swears now?" because you know she's from a 1960's cartoon.
Twilight's not quite old enough for that and, at least in my opinion, not pervasive enough for that. It was a huge sensation, but was never as big as HP, and dominated only a subset of the YA audience (female-targeted YA romance). Ask a person off the street and the most they can probably, maybe, tell you is "sparkly vampires and Team Edward and Team Jacob". So, at best you get riffs like we saw when Twilight came out with the Simpsons and various other parodies where the parodies... really didn't know what to do with the characters or what it was even about. "Milhouse turns into a poodle, I guess? Is that funny? It's funny, right?"
Twilight just isn't old enough and as big as it was, I don't think was widespread enough.
So, I think we're going to get an earnest reboot.
But you do now have me concerned. And I may be eating my words later on this post and reblogging with a clown face.
Other Theories
Alright, let's see what we've got/what we can come up with:
Yours: HBO adult comedy horror fest
Mine: Boring, Snoozeville, Tame, Generically Arted Palatable Twilight that is Designed to Be as Appealing as Possible
Other options I can think of are...
Interview with a Vampirepalooza/Oh God I Don't Know What's Popular: given the recent success of Interview with a Vampire, an edgier adult story with adult characters, Netflix will look to make Twilight their exact own version of that. Except they won't understand what made it work there. We sexy it up but in a CW way, the kids are all still in high school but the fact that the Cullens are fucking each other is brought up relentlessly in an edgy way. The vampires all look hot, hot, hot but in a normal human way where you're not terrified they're some crystal robot out to eat your limbs. We'll keep some of the artsy weird dialogue, but Edward will be both somehow made more sympathetic (as he is the lead we end up with) and 'dark' where he's dangerous in a sexy way and not in a "you smell like my personal heroin way".
The Buffy Route: remember that one teen show from the 90's that was so good it spun off an entire genre of television that essentially hadn't existed before? Twilight becomes a fun teen oriented show where the characters say witty, fun, teenage-like things and get into episodic mysteries while somehow trying to remain in the realm of Twilight. Edward loses his edge, Bella loses her unrelatable nature, and we really play up every time a character has a funny line and write a lot more in there. Unfortunately, it's not a well written teen comedy show and so the lines are just generally bad and the plot never seems to go anywhere and it's just boring.
Hannibal the Twilight: some really artsy director gets involved and we now have a show where the symbolism of Edward walking around as a man-deer takes over the entire fucking thing. Nothing ever happens, Edward just shows up in Bella's dreams as a snarling man deer. When characters talk to each other, it's in artsy nonsense dialogue where it feels like both are reading 2000's era chatbot scripts to one another as they mix metaphors about ponies, china pottery, and dust motes. The plot is so non-existant the only important episodes to watch in a season are the premier and finale, except even then it's unclear what happened.
Audience Input
Anyone else got any wild guesses here?

gentle reminder: going by anti logic, all male love interests in most otome games are "pedophiles".
let me preface by saying, i know it sounds crazy. but hear me out.
let me take the new shining star in the otome gacha genre as an example: love and deepspace. the male love interests in it are aged 24, 27 and 28, with one being of unknown age. (!!!spoilers ahead: current lore even suggests that they all may be way, waaay older!!!). the mc has no canonical age, but is assumed to be an adult.
this is the important part: antis always prioritise the age of the actual person playing the game over the fictional character they self-insert into, as easily demonstrated by their disapproval or outright hate of romantic or sexual fanfictions/games/media providing self insertion into an underage group (such as high schoolers) being played/read by adults. in short, an adult self inserting into a high schooler dating high schoolers is still "being a pedophile" to them.
and this gets especially funny and ridiculous if you turn the tables on them. love and deepspace and tears of themis all have very much adult male love interests, with a through context assumed adult mc. but that doesn't matter, what matters is the person behind the screen playing. plenty of minors play love and deepspace and tears of themis.
and thus, adding that to the anti mindset that fictional beings can "consent", can pass the whatever the fuck test to prove they can consent, can be "violated" or "disrespected", fictional beings can also decide to be "pedophiles". which every single adult male love interest in both of these games and many many more are "deciding", when they "decide" to court a minor player, and even bed a minor player in a tasteful fade to black manner.
so, wake up call everyone, get out all your pitchforks, because we bouta take all the handsome anime men in otome games to fiction court in fiction land for their fiction crimes!
all these beloved boyfriends, *fiancées* even in tears of themis, arrested and put in fiction jail for daring to lay a hand on a minor.
similar hypocrisy can also be seen when antis criticise the persona franchise and its fandom: for quick context, persona is a series of games with a self insert high school protag about you and your clique saving the world with your jojo stand. while doing so the game allows you to forge bonds and romance available partners, most of them being fellow high schoolers.
on one end, there's "b-but you're an adult playing the game and dating minors, so gross, so problematic, so disgusting, you're such a pedophile!!!", and on the other, there is "yeah but the fact that romancing your teacher is an option is so messed up, like, so problematic, like, wtf that's unacceptable, mc is her minor student, the fact that you like that is so wrong!!!".
no need to have a PhD in mathematics to see that something doesn't add up lol. antis always prioritise the person behind the screen, until you can make it problematic by not prioritising that, and that obviously leads to some funky "you can never win" arguments.
whether i choose to romance the teacher or choose to romance my 15 year old friend, antis are gonna have to say something about it. (and of course, all otome husbandos need jail NOW😡)

I did all 20 of @taylortut 's
20 BLORBO/OC WHUMP/ H/C ASKS
for both Mithrun and Kabru from Dungeon Meshi, because I have low-key lurked the community for a while and long to reveal my madness, and also I want to spread the 'ganda about my perfect boys before season 2 of the anime drops. Evidence of my illness is below the cut.
Also parts of this are NWS and there's violence including passing mention of sexual violence so like please. There's also visual depictions of stuff like self harm. I've warned you.
BILL, STAY OUT.
What appeals to you about this character?
Mithrun: Without spoiling too much, I'd say the draw for me is that he's a character who's at once very capable and very vulnerable. He's a powerful magic user with a lot of (terrible) life experiences, but he's also afflicted with a condition that makes it necessary for him to have what amounts to a caretaker whenever he's not doing rote daily routine stuff. Also, he's a tiny little elf, which is always a plus.
Also, he looks like D&D Gilbert, which is Funny To Me.
Kabru: The son-boy! The one through whom I recognize the self through the other! I love that he's a chronic manager of others' emotions, and a doting caretaker to Mithrun, and also sometimes a ruthless killer.
I've observed this isn't a super beloved character trait of his, but I maintain that it whips ass. He's a character of contrasts like Mithrun is, being very much invested in humans and also willing to rip someone apart.
Also, he looks like D&D Serge, which is Funny To Me.
What's your least favorite aspect of this character?
Both: None! I like that Kabru will stab a fucker, I like that Mithrun is very capable of being a bitch, I like that they both have worldviews informed by their upbringings and think/say things about others that aren't charitable or fair, I love my boys.
What's your favorite canon moment with this character?
God. They have many good moments individually and together, but like. The #1 one, as well as the one most relevant to this questionairre, is this. I goof about it a lot, but it's so tender and the implications are so striking. Kabru is actually treating him like a person. I consider this scene a companion to an earlier one, when they first meet and Mithrun actually treats Kabru like an adult and a peer, which elves generally don't.
Do you have a favorite fic for this character?
GOD. So many of them are so good, we really do monopolize the biggest crinkliest brains, but the one I'm FERAL about right now is The Chameleon by threesmallcrows. Fuck. Me. Up. It's an AU, too, a gothis horror/romance one, so one could if one wanted just eat it right up even if you've only seen these two on screen for two minutes.
What's your favorite whump trope to use for this character and why?
Individually: Mithrun: Exhaustion or illness or anything that requires him to be toted around like a stupid little baby and handled delicately. I just like him being spoiled, which is a hideous contrast to what I'm gonna type in a minute wwww
Kabru: Persevering through injury, I think. He's a very purpose-driven person, and I think him toughing it out because he absolutely has to is very appealing. He can collapse and be coddled later, it's fine.
Jointly: *throws up my fucking hands* (Threats of) noncon against Mithrun while Kabru is incapacitated. Sorry. It just has juice. Nothing even has to Happen, it can be as inoffensive as someone manhandling him wrong or threatening him. My brain is simple and I like more reasons for Kabru to stab people and for Mithrun to be miserable. SOZ.
Whose relationship with this character is your favorite, shipping or otherwise?
*gestures at entire post* WHAT DO YOU THINK.
Whose relationship with this character is your least favorite?
Mithrun: Milsiril, she very much was ready to murder him when he was at his most vulnerable because she decided his life wouldn't be worth living.
Kabru: ...Nay, I shan't say it.
Describe your ideal whump scenario for this character.
The main antagonist possessing Another Chara's body and threatening Mithrun while Kabru is temporarily restrained. I. Listen.
No, there's no adequate defense. It's just exciting! It's got juice, to me! I like peril, I like Literalizing, I like protective fury. Rage is a kind of distress!
Do you have headcanons for this character, if they're not an OC?
Mithrun: I write him as something that readers would describe as intersex if they saw it IRL, but it's not treated that way and doesn't work in a way that would be realistic if that's what I was trying to do. I'm not doing realism, I'm doing an artistic expression of sex and gender variety in a fantasy race that's explicitly very androgynous already. Also it's fun.
Kabru: That he's legally adopted. Way less interesting.
What would devastate them the most, emotionally speaking?
BESIDES THE ABOVE?
Mithrun: Rejection or perceived rejection, canonically. If he were to perceive someone as being tired of him or sick of him and discarding him, he'd be Very Upset.
Kabru: He's majorly motivated by loss and a sense of responsibility, so losing someone he loves to violence when he feels he could have prevented it would break him pretty bad.
If it's not a spoiler, what's the worst thing that's ever happened to them?
It is a spoiler, so: Plenty.
How do they act when sick/injured? Is it obvious or do they hide it well?
Honestly they both kind of keep on keeping on until they Drop or someone stops them.
What are their coping mechanisms, good and bad?
Mithrun: Relies on memories of how he was before he was so severely traumatized in order to make what are usually constructive decisions about what to do. I get the impression he becomes less able to do this in fraught situations, though.
Kabru: Mentally recites rote facts to himself to persevere through unpleasant situations.
How is their mental health, generally speaking?
Could be better. They're doing their best though.
Who do you like to see hurting them, if anyone?
DESPITE WHAT I'VE WRITTEN ABOVE I'm not super crazy about them being hurt. I guess 'baddies, generally' because while I like them in peril I'm not super specific about it.
Who do you like to see caring for them, if anyone?
Both: Each other, and also the stupid poultry AKA the gaggle of freaks who follow Mithrun around. I just love their various dynamics. Pattadol is very appealing platonically, for reasons.
What do they do to self-soothe when they're not feeling well?
They don't, it's an established problem. Kabru is literally so terrible at taking care of himself (but not others, he's very attentive to other people) that his landlord cleans his room for him out of either pity or necessity.
Are they good at taking care of themselves or do they need help?
Buddy they do it worse than anyone's ever done it.
Do they have old scars, physical or otherwise?
fffff
Mithrun is missing his right eye and half the outer structure of both ears after the incident that traumatized him. He's extensively scarred from having compulsively harmed himself during his recovery, as well as from having been restrained so that he wouldn't do that.
Kabru seems fine physically, but they're both PTSD disasters that present it differently.
Anything else you'd like to share about them I haven't asked?
Thanks for coming to my TED talk.....................

Hello! Call me Yan (any prns), and I'm honestly here to satisfy my cravings as a writer 😔
♪ REQUEST STATUS: OPEN—Although please understand if I was unable to answer yours!
WHAT DO I WRITE?
x reader, my beloved i dont use y/n tho
Yandere. There are times I won't write yandere, but it's my blog's main trait.
Please read at your own risk. There will be warnings at the start of the chap!
Headcanons, one shots, and drabbles
Mostly SFW — Sexual themes are mild at most. I do not write smut.
My account is multifandom. I am in multiple fandoms, so expect my content to be different every once in a while!
☕support me on kofi!
MASTERLIST... LIST
PART I: Masterlist
Keep reading if u wanna request!
SO, YOU'RE AN ANON
You can name yourself as an anon! It's a nickname of sorts
Feel free to use a name even if it's taken! This is because I hop around fandoms, so anons may come and go, plus it's definitely an easier way to find your request (in tags) 😺
Think of your same-name-anons as like,, wow, u have the same name as me! siblings frfr??
FANDOMS?
I lurk in many fandoms. Not about to list them all, though Mostly I write about my current obsession! Almost always it's my blog theme :O
Please don't hesitate to ask from wherever fandom you are! There's no harm in trying! :) Except BNHA. Preferably, no anime. (With the exception of Dandadan)
Better yet, feel free to list down your fandoms in the comments! Anything that you would want to see yandere content in! Just so I can browse and maybe write for!!
LIMITS?
No problematic shipping requests.
Unfortunately, I don't do OCs (':
If the character is 18-, they can be aged up if you'd like, but strictly no NSFW, or in certain circumstances, romance. They're gonna be platonic.
I don't do intense gore. While I do have yandere content, I'm on the sorta wholesome side? Define 'wholesome' ... Implied scenarios are more likely😩
I write non-yandere stories too tho!
Minors, please stay safe. Don't go meddling around with adult spaces!
Sadly, I'm lacking in knowledge of other popular media, so if you happen to request one of those, I might not reply. Instead, I'll be keeping your ask until one day I check that media out.
Doesn't matter if the character is well known or not! Cuz I WILL attempt to learn about your request!
Except real life people. I can do actors with their characters, but never peeps' government names.
Part 2s are my weakness. I'm sorry. Doesn't mean you should try asking me tho!
WHY IS MY REQUEST TAKING SO LONG?
...college
If it's something I've never posted about yet, then it's either I'm not in the fandom, or I'm just clueless.
But other than that... sometimes I take days— weeks— months? to truly click with an idea.
I want to enjoy whatever I'm writing, so I take a break until an idea comes up.
And there's also the fact that I'm working on multiple things at once 😭😭 I tend to focus on easier ones first!!
Also I usually think of ideas at night c:
Worst case scenario: I truly have zero idea for your request, I'm so sorry 😔
NOTES ABOUT ME!
Yandere is my guilty pleasure, I fear🤕
HOWEVER, I do not, and won't ever, condone the behavior I will portray in my writing. Please don't misunderstand, don't romanticize. They are purely fiction and for entertainment.
I regularly change my theme (profile, colors, banner, etc.) just so you know.
This account is for everyone,, we're all just trying to find content of our favorite character fr— so please don't hesitate to request :)
As I close my eyes to sleep, that's when I start imagining scenarios for my writing!

The Looney Tunes Show holds a special place in my heart for how it revitalized the classic WB characters. While I grew up watching the beloved slapstick shorts, the show’s sitcom format appealed to me more as an adult, offering an opportunity to explore the personalities of Bugs and Daffy in more depth.
The series also completely reinvented Lola Bunny. In Space Jam, she was a bland, one-dimensional character with little to offer beyond a persona derivative of Jessica Rabbit and a stereotypically 90s tough gal attitude. But in The Looney Tunes Show, she was reimagined as a disturbed, delusional valley girl with a unique and compelling personality—one that made her not only my favorite version of Lola, but the only one I like.
The show portrayed Lola as an innocent, bubbly, almost childlike young woman, who gradually reveals herself to be a full-fledged psychopath, infamously obsessed with Bugs. The writers wisely leaned into this twist, blending the personality of a lovesick teenager with the intensity of a thriller villain—think Legally Blonde meets Fatal Attraction. This darker take on Lola was truly inspired, not only in the hilarious writing, but in Jessica Borutski's excellent redesign and Kristen Wiig's iconic performance. While Lola's unhinged antics were toned down in season two as Bugs started dating her, her psychotic distinctiveness remained intact.
When Rabbits Run was announced, with Lola as the protagonist, I was excited. The first two acts maintained some of the offbeat humor and kooky charm of her character from The Looney Tunes Show. Though I prefer Lola to be a more overtly unhinged character, I found the direction taken in Rabbits Run moderately entertaining, at least initially. As the film progresses, we see glimpses of her deranged side, though it’s often dialed down, leaning into the sweet, goofy gal she is on the surface.
The movie begins with a fun parody of Disney Renaissance I Want songs, where Lola trashes a perfume shop while singing about her dream to leave behind her mundane life and create a signature scent in Paris. Rachel Ramras is serviceable as Lola, but cannot match Kristen Wiig's acting range, nor her singing abilities. The plot escalates when it turns out that the flower used in her perfume gives her the power of invisibility, sparking a series of chase sequences between her and the government, inspired more by the Jason Bourne films than by WB's Roadrunner or Tweety shorts. Lola, oblivious to the perfume’s effects, believes rival artists want to steal her creation, setting off a madcap adventure with Bugs Bunny dragged into the chaos.
While the animation quality here falls short of the standard set by The Looney Tunes Show, there are larger issues. The film stumbles in its third act, where the pacing grinds to a halt. After a dramatic leap from a plane, Lola and Bugs are rescued by the Goofy Gophers, who give her a makeover during an unnecessary and distracting musical number. With only two songs in the film, both of which are placed at wildly different points, can we even call this a musical?
The segment, along with the sudden romance between Lola and Bugs, feels out of place. While the two characters do become a couple in The Looney Tunes Show, here their relationship feels rushed and underdeveloped. The film does little to justify their budding romance, while Lola's stalker tendencies and Bugs’ clear discomfort with her obsessive behavior are left unexplored.
By the time the narrative moves to Paris, Lola casts aside her artistic aspirations, leaving her without a clear objective. The film’s focus shifts to a short-lived sequence of Lola and Bugs dating in Paris, which doesn’t capitalize on the setting or their invisibility. This part of the story feels like a retread of The Looney Tunes Show’s Eligible Bachelors episode, but without the same comedic impact. As the film adds Marvin the Martian as a last-minute antagonist, it becomes clear that the plot has become a disjointed series of events rather than a cohesive narrative. The film's conclusion lacks any real resolution, leaving the audience with little sense of closure.
Rabbits Run is a difficult film to recommend. If you’re a die-hard fan of Lola's character from The Looney Tunes Show, you’ll find moments of joy in her antics, particularly in the first two acts. But if you haven’t watched the show, I’d advise starting there. The film falters in its structure and tone, playing it too safe with its characters and losing much of the quirky, unpredictable energy that made Lola’s earlier iteration so memorable.
That said, Rabbits Run is a lighthearted, kid-friendly adventure, with simple, straightforward humor that makes it accessible for younger audiences. But for adults who appreciated The Looney Tunes Show’s mature humor—drawing inspiration from sitcoms like It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia and Seinfeld—the movie is bound to feel like a missed opportunity.
It’s especially disappointing that Rabbits Run may serve as the final bow for this unique version of Lola. In New Looney Tunes, she’s portrayed as little more than a derivative Bugs Bunny clone, and in Space Jam 2, she reverts to a bland, tokenized girlboss archetype. One can only hope that Kristen Wiig and Jessica Borutski will someday return to the character, with writers willing to lean back into the delightful, deranged qualities that made her so entertaining. Ideally, they could even explore Lola’s character further in a project aimed at adults—perhaps tapping into the dark, offbeat humor of The Cable Guy or the twisted, psychologically charged energy of Gone Girl.
While Rabbits Run isn’t the explosive send-off that this Lola deserves, it remains a serviceable, if flawed, film that younger viewers may enjoy.

Matryoshka Doll & Wooden Soldiers (WIP title)
— A Nutcracker Retelling
Genre: Fairytale retelling, adult fiction, speculative fiction.
Setting: Wintery, early 19th century Germany, Russia & other culturally-inspired fantasy settings with a touch of steampunk.
Summary: Clara Stahlbaum is forced to prematurely shelf her ballet career after a severe injury. Feeling lost and alone, the former ballerina leaves the comfort of her home in the countryside to visit the city and help her godfather run his toy shop while she recovers from her mental strife. After encountering a peculiar stranger with wooden hands who speaks of a fairy that can undo all injuries and ailments, Clara is pulled into a plot of curses, tragedy and lost personhood.
Themes: Identity & self worth, loss of humanity, defying fate, vengeance and repressed emotions, hints of unhinged womanhood if you squint.
Introduction & Context
Matryoshka Doll & Wooden Soldiers is a retelling and slight reconstruction of the beloved story The Nutcracker & the Mouse King, taking partial inspiration from the ballet, but is otherwise mostly based on Hoffmann’s original 1816 novel! I’ve been deeply infatuated with this story ever since I watched the animated movie by GoodTimes Entertainment (please tell me someone else watched this as a kid) and the Barbie version when I was little. I’ve since read the original book and been wanting to reconstruct the story into something new! Everything in this post is very much a WIP and subject to change as I develop the story, as it’s still in its first draft!
Inspirations & Vibes
Tchaikovsky’s music and the ballet (naturally), powdered snow, sweet Turkish delight, hot steam from the locomotive swirling in the crisp winter air, scent of gingerbread and mulled wine with cinnamon, winter wonderlands and peppermint candy canes, pastel baroque & rococo aesthetics, white marble with specks of blood, loss of humanity and sense of self, tragic romance, whimsical inventions, old fashioned toy shops filled with wonder, out of tune music box and other antique trinkets, freshly baked Berliner buns, the gritty and dark hiding beneath the prim and proper, prickling fingers on thorns while picking berries.
Main Characters
Clara Stahlbaum (23) she/her
Burnt out gifted kid filled with longing and passions she can no longer pursue, a romantic posing as a cynic to protect her feelings, loves messing with little trinkets and antiques and is kinda a nerd.
Hans Peter (25) he/him
Stoic, intellectualises his feelings, detached yet slightly vain, charming until you realise he’s not aloof for allure’s sake he’s just kinda socially awkward, but hey maybe that’s charming to some.
Godfather Drosselmeyer (52) he/him
Eccentric, mischievous, a bit sketchy but people brush him off as just a quirky old man, secretive, knows a lot and yet literally no one in the city knows anything about him he just showed up one day.
I might make a deep dive post about these characters to go into their psychology and development if that’s something people would be interested in! Deconstructing a character’s psyche is one of my favourite aspects of writing and I’d love to be able to share it. Also I know this seems very heteronormative as a story but I promise there are queer themes brewing beneath the surface here I would die otherwise.
✦ If you’d like to be added to a tag list for future writing updates/excerpts, please let me know!

My latest, epic poster for 'Joshua Sumter: The Movie!', starring ME and featuring the worlds of Disney.
SYNOPSIS: From minding his own business in our universe to journeying across iconic Disney movies in another, "Joshua Sumter: The Movie!" follows autistic young adult Joshua Sumter (That's me) as he sets off on a magical and multiversal adventure across beloved Disney classics. Joshua, who finds a strange shard piece in our world, finds himself thrust into a whole, new universe based on the magic of Disney where he is forced to find and gather all the pieces of the legendary Wishing Star that's been making the dreams of Disney characters come true for more than 100 years. While pursuing the fragmented pieces through the worlds of Disney, Joshua's journey is a story of action, comedy, romance, and adventure as he travels from the worlds of The Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin, and Hercules to the worlds of The Emperor's New Groove, The Princess and the Frog, Tangled, Moana, Frozen II, and (of course) Wish while tangling with an all-star ensemble of beloved Disney Animation characters from the most beloved and famous stories. And if that wasn't crazy enough, powerful, dark forces of Disney Villains are on his tail as they are after the magic of the Wishing Star's pieces. Like moths to a flame, the Disney villains will be drawn to its unleashed power and magic of the star, gaining them new and frightening powers. Soon, the very fabric of the Disney universe could come undone and be hanging in the balance. Can Joshua find all of the pieces before they do and restore the Wishing Star in time? In the tradition of 100 years of Disney and featuring the worlds of your favorite Disney stories and its iconic moments, be prepared to be blown away by an epic multiversal adventure like no other inspired by 'Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom (2012-2021)', 'SpongeBob SquarePants: Cosmic Shake', 'The Pagemaster (1994)', 'Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions (2010)', 'Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order (2019)', the 'Fantasmic!' show and much more! Five 1-season series I watched recently, and why I recommend them/liked them:
Lessons in Chemistry
About the trials and tribulations of a woman who both fails and refuses to conform to the expectations of 50s-60s USA. The show is primarily character-driven and works on a rather… somewhat simplified and exagerrated mindset? It took me offguard at first, but was fine once I settled into the groove. My favorite part was, as I later found out, an addition for the show (compared to the book, which I haven’t read) → the neighbor being a black woman fighting for civil rights. There’s that one chunk that mixes the psychological/personal aspect of getting involved with the socio-political reality of asymmetrical struggles and I… loved how clever that was… I’ll be honest, in that the show is mostly a sort of drama/character exploration and the political painting part of it is secondary. But I mean, the drama is good, I bawled my eyes out a bunch of times, and it’s visually compelling. The protagonist reads somewhat as a modern woman dropped into the fifties and her relentlessness is actually refreshing. It’s a power fantasy in that sense – watching someone smart, fully confident in her own abilities, and what she’s worth, and owed… It’s nice. Just so that we’re clear – this show is the one I’m least confident pitching, because it’s odd in many ways and questionable in some – but I really enjoyed it and I won’t lie about that. I thought it was very good on the moment hahahaha
So give it a go if it intrigues you!! and come chat with me about the neighborhood subplots.
Cherry Magic (anime version)
About an unremarkable salaryman who starts being able to read others’ thoughts because he’s a 30 y/o virgin – but really, it’s actually about someone finding both love and confidence in himself. This is so, so sweet. Pretty funny, too. For all the silliness of the premise, the more profound core of the story is very nicely-wrought, it’s painted with a delicate touch and subtle hues. There are aspects of it that I think will hit harder if you are not a child anymore. I think I would have enjoyed it when I was sixteen, but probably not as much as I did being a worn-out adult, lol. I binged it while I was insomniac with dread, and it made me laugh like a teenager. It’s sincerely very fucking great and if you enjoy romances at all you’ll love it.
Scavengers’ Reign
About a handful of scattered space castaways on a beautiful, wonderful and terrifying planet. If you enjoy science-fiction for any reason whatsoever, I can only make this a very ardent recommendation. It has it all: the alien planet, the machines, the creatures, the cast of characters; but also the wonder, and the fear, never too far from one another. This show is a real underrated gem and I am very serious. For you, tumblr, my beloved freakopolis, it also has it all. I won’t say it – but it has what you want. […] This show is so beautiful. The planet’s ecosystem feels tangible and coherent and new and it’s beautiful and frightening most of the time. There’s something of the primordial awe of coming into contact with the intriguing unknown. Did I mention that this is an animated show?? It’s very good visually too.
Andor
About the birth of revolution – accross the galaxies, people getting tired of imperial abuse, and in the hero’s heart and mind. What I loved most was how grounded it was. This isn’t the usual star wars with god-elect heroes with a destiny. It’s about the sorry little bitches who look at their increasingly corrupted world and decide to try to do something about it. Or end up in there by accident. SO, so good. For that only I thought it was a banger. But then there’s everything else!! The worldbuilding (that prison!!)! The practical effects! The janky-looking tech everywhere! The gorgeous sets (the senator’s house HELLO <<33)! Heartwrenching details! An essayist! Not joking it changed my brain chemistry and there’s a bit of text I want to write down on paper for myself.
Machine
Mandatory « I’m sorry for all you bitches that don’t speak French » because I doubt it’ll get translated, or even subbed, anytime soon if at all. But god y’all are missing out. Machine is a freakishly fun take on the figure of the white woman being kickass through « kung-fu » (looked like every technique under the sun to me lol), yknow, Kill Bill-like? It’s also a very, very fun series about freaking Karl Marx and class struggle. Not joking, literally some fighting interspersed with karl marx quotes and also cycling. Again with a show that lays it on thick and, at first, it takes me off-guard, but I go with the flow and then it’s fucking fantastic. Suuuch a coup de coeur for me. Can’t think of a translation for it, but it means that it struck a chord and became a favorite of mine. Also made me realize I was less aware of where dreadlocks discourse is currently at than I thought (topic for a research afternoon for when I can catch a fucking break…) (bc the heroine has them). Et je m’en remets pas de l’influenceur gilet jaune lol, quelle pépite. Very mad that no one around me watched it.
Honorary mention: Jujutsu Kaisen s2
Total banger. You don't need me to recommend it to you.

I watched Disney's Robin Hood tonight, and here are some of my highlights:
This movie is so FUN. Even as an adult who has seen this movie so many times I laugh out loud multiple times when watching it
Prince John being fooled by The cross-dressing Robin Hood and little John because he cannot fathom the idea of Female robbers
Everything about their heist is fun- but especially kissing away the ring jewels, the entire conversation between Robin and prince John, Prince John's reflection in the ball, sir Hiss being stuck in a basket and the thieves colliding when running out with their bounty
We're really shown how wicked the sheriff is, stealing coins out of the cast of a cripple, the birthday gift from a kid and a beggar
Robin is very good with kids and gives the birthday boy a bow, arrow and even his own hat
Turns out both Marian and her Lady in waiting Kluck are also terrific with children and their little playing with the children is absolutely adorable
Marian having a wanted poster of her beloved in her room is so funny to me, I cannot get over it.
Robin being a horrible cook because he is thinking about his lady love 😍
The cartwheels he does when he hears that the winner of the archery competition will get a kiss from lady Marian!❤❤👌
Also he has zero chill during the competition. Someone with brain cells might think that he should mess up a couple of the shots to be more inconspicuous, but not him.
Cleaving the sheriff's arrow with his own is a Legendary TM moment though
The little turtle cheering for his dad was adorable. I really enjoyed the looks of all the contestants too!
Robin and Marian's love confessions when he's been found out 😭
Little John is literally saving the day multiple times during the aftermath of the contest while wearing a crop top. Also him just vibing with the prince, or "PJ", is a testament to his acting skills.
After the fight breaks out Robin and Marin agree to marry, where to go for their honeymoon and discuss their future number of children (robin:"We'll have six children". Marian: "no, a dozen at least") They both have zero chill and are so hot for each other, it would be sickening if i didn't love it so much
Lady Kluck literally being Player of the Game during the fight, every single thing she does is a win
The entire fighting sequence is a joy from start to finnish
The song "Love" while Robin and Marian just walk around in the forrest talking and being well ... in love 😭😍❤
The scene with the warerlillies, fireflies and the flower-ring while they gaze into each others eyes is the textbook definition of Romance
Much of the animation in A Phoney king of England is borrowed from earlier movies, but I like the little game I make of trying to remember wich animations are from which movie
I also like Friar Tuck's little theatre setup and Robin using his bow as a, well, bow when playing the violin
The song becoming such a hit in the town that Prince John raises the taxes even more, resulting in several people being put in jail (The jail part is not a favourite but the song being a hit is)
Friar Tuck absolutely losing it when the sheriff steals from the box for the Poor in his church.👏👏
The double take Robin does when he hears his friend is to be hanged on the morrow, first out of character then in character as the beggar.
(In the swedish version Trigger, who is suspicious of the beggar remarks that "han har en räv bakom örat" lit. trans ="he has a fox behind his ear" which means that he is up to something. I thought it was a fun pun considering Robin is a fox)
I view the whole breaking into the castle sequence each Christmas (as is tradition) but I always forget how much from the movie they cut out of the Christmas show
(The whole sequence with Robin masquerading as Nutsy, John freeing the prisoners and about half the fight/flight when they escape is cut from the Christmas show)
Trigger being unable to properly secure his crossbow is a great running gag. He calls his crossbow "gamla Bettan" in Swedish- probably translated: "Old Betsy". I wonder what he calls it in other languages?
And each time I watch I lament that Robin gets too greedy, just leave that last money sack that the prince is cradling in his arms!!
Robin (and little John) turning around to fetch the little bunny is so in character and kinda heartbreaking because Robin almost dies
Robin is really fearing for his life - especially in the burning tower
Robin's face after his escape and Skippy claims that he could've swum double the distance
Was the ending rushed? Yes. Do I care? No.
#robin hood#Disney's robin hood#there was so much more i liked. but i couldnt fit it all#i tried using pictures here. hope you like it#robinxmarian#disney#blomsterspråk#yes i am in a robin hood mood!!

✨ and ❄️
✨- which fictional character (book, show, or movie) do you relate to most?
oh geez that has got to be the hardest question on the list... uhhh
Adashima Shimamura being absolutely obsessed and in love with Adachi no matter how you look at it but not actually feeling all the wibbly wobbly amazing happiness feels her girlfriend does is kind of very relatable, same for her general cynical alienated from society attitude
on a similar note, my gf always teases me about how similar I am to Sasakoi Himari, as in, I also had a ton of 'but am I really in love with her? / how do I understand what that's like?'-moments at the beginning of our relationship. I am very much not a genki girl who easily makes friends though so the relatability ends with those moments
for similar/basically the same reasons as the two above YagaKimi Yuu is of course also very relatable
anything not romance related hmmm... the rat familar girl from the obscure niché trans webnovel I Signed Up To Be The Substitute Familiar Of A Struggling Witch To Pay My Bills And I'm Just Now Realizing... (buy on itch now for 5 bucks) is very relatable in all of her doesn't know what to do with life life issues
oh yeah and of course Carol Malus Dienheim my beloved (Symphogear) is incredibly relatable in her desire to dissolve the entire planet into nothingness, those are like 80% of my 'sitting in a subway, depressed, listening to loud music'-fantasies (much less of those now that I'm a girl and have a girlfriend but still it counts), also bonus points for her excellent aesthetic sense of making herself gay doll girl servants with spiked teeth
Aria the Animation Alice is also very relatable with her cute autistic attitudes, and social struggles and her attempts to act an adult, but also she ends up succeeding at a customer service job so by the end of Aria she totally outgrows anything I could ever hope to be
And I would of course also love to put Satsuki gay foxgirl of all time onto this list but alas I am nothing like her I could never be this responsible and cool and good at work and put-together, she's everything I would dare dream to be, nothing I am
❄️- what is your favorite season?
FALL! nothing better than the start of the cold times, and there's pretty leaves too^^
#asks#sankyuu Lico-chan^^#now to post this and realize there's some extremely important anime girl I missed in an hour or two

✦˖ ݁ ˓♡˖ ݁ ˓⊹˖ ݁ ˓Introduction and writing list˖ ݁ ˓⊹˖ ݁ ˓♡˖ ݁ ˓✦
Well hello there, I am a new multifandom writer around here and I am still trying to figure things out like being aesthetic and such so bare with me lol. I always loved to write, but I usually ran out of ideas pretty quickly so that's why: ✦˖ ݁ ˓REQUEST ARE OPEN˖ ݁ ˓✦ As I said, I am a multifandom hoe, meaning that I know a lot of the lore of a bunch of fandoms around here, I will try to write the ones I know so you guys can make requests! You guys can ask for "x reader" stories or for ships into the fandom, I do both ( ̄︶ ̄) A little ⚠️DISCLAIMER⚠️ is that I have ADHD, and because of that sometimes I don't finish the content of a fandom before joining it, so, I will write here the fandoms I only know only a little about so if you guys make request you can know if I can actually write things in a canonical way or not
✦˖ ݁ ˓♡˖ ݁ ˓⊹˖ ݁ ˓MY HERO ACADEMIA˖ ݁ ˓⊹˖ ݁ ˓♡˖ ݁ ˓✦
⚠️WARNING⚠️ I've only watched like 3 seasons or so of this anime, so if you ask for a fanfic it might not be canonically accurate in the mha world or the personalities of some characters might be a little different.
CHARACTERS I WRITE:
Tenya (my beloved <3)
Bakugo
Kirishima
Deku
Denki
Aizawa (not student/teacher unless we don't talk about the UA but some college or something. I am not going to writer minor/adult)
And to not make the list extremely long, I basically write all 1-A class and some villains, you ask and I will do my best to write for you <3
✦˖ ݁ ˓♡˖ ݁ ˓⊹˖ ݁ ˓BROOKLYN 99˖ ݁ ˓⊹˖ ݁ ˓♡˖ ݁ ˓✦
CHARACTERS I WRITE:
This is a yes, yes, all of them, I've watched b99 like 9 times by now, I feel capable enough to write whatever anyone ask me about this <3
✦˖ ݁ ˓♡˖ ݁ ˓⊹˖ ݁ ˓THE GOOD PLACE˖ ݁ ˓⊹˖ ݁ ˓♡˖ ݁ ˓✦
CHARACTERS I WRITE:
Again as with b99, all of them, you can ask and you shall receive <3
✦˖ ݁ ˓♡˖ ݁ ˓⊹˖ ݁ ˓ABBOTT ELEMENTARY˖ ݁ ˓⊹˖ ݁ ˓♡˖ ݁ ˓✦
CHARACTERS I WRITE:
ALL! Please someone ask me to write about this omg I love this show
✦˖ ݁ ˓♡˖ ݁ ˓⊹˖ ݁ ˓MODERN FAMILY˖ ݁ ˓⊹˖ ݁ ˓♡˖ ݁ ˓✦
CHARACTERS I WRITE:
I can do all! Feel free to ask!
✦˖ ݁ ˓♡˖ ݁ ˓⊹˖ ݁ ˓STRANGER THINGS˖ ݁ ˓⊹˖ ݁ ˓♡˖ ݁ ˓✦
CHARACTERS I WRITE:
I like all, ships and all, ask me and I will do <3
✦˖ ݁ ˓♡˖ ݁ ˓⊹˖ ݁ ˓THE UMBRELLA ACADEMY˖ ݁ ˓⊹˖ ݁ ˓♡˖ ݁ ˓✦
CHARACTERS I WRITE:
All the brothers and sisters! The original 7 and the season 3 too!
✦˖ ݁ ˓♡˖ ݁ ˓⊹˖ ݁ ˓OTHERS˖ ݁ ˓⊹˖ ݁ ˓♡˖ ݁ ˓✦
I have watched other animes, like JJK, Banana fish, One punch man, Devilman Crybaby, and some others more, tbh I can't recall all of them, but those are the ones I kinda know most to write, so yeah!
✦˖ ݁ ˓♡˖ ݁ ˓⊹˖ ݁ ˓RULES˖ ݁ ˓⊹˖ ݁ ˓♡˖ ݁ ˓✦
WHAT I WRITE:
I have no problem writing smut, angst, romance, a little of mistery if you guys want, all that is a yes.
I am okay about writing of actors and celebrities as long as it is romance, I am okay writing smut for their characters as they're just that however I don't like the sexualization of a real human so, have that on mind please <3
In smut I am okay writing BDSM, Degradation, Praise, CNC (just in some cases), Dominant woman/man/nb, same as Submissive woman/man/nb, rope bunny/rigger and more.
⚠️If you request me to write something, please make sure to ask me if I am okay with your kink/idea before sending it if it's not listed in the things I am okay writing⚠️
WHAT I WON'T WRITE:
Anything that has to do with minors, unless both characters are supposed to be minors like in mha for example, however I won't write any kind of smut when there is a minor included.
I don't write gore.
I don't write anything that has to do with animals (sexually speaking).
✦˖ ݁ ˓♡˖ ݁ ˓⊹˖ ˖ ݁ ˓⊹˖ ݁ ˓♡˖ ݁ ˓✦
And I think that's it, thank you for reading <3

Situation (DH) Ventus has strong feelings for Strelitzia Ferguson, & finds it frustrating that she chooses to sleep with other people when he could love her the way she wants to be & wouldn't break her heart. Ven is also cousins with Roxas McCartney, but his parents won't communicate or come around Roxas' parents for some reason, even though they're dads are brothers. Ven doesn't think too much about it & shrugs it off, but he occasionally wonders why.
UPDATE: Ven finally decides to start a relationship with Adrian. After dating her for a couple months, he finds Strelitzia crying at the park & comforts her. The two end up kissing & Ven feels incredibly guilty for cheating on Adrian. He decides to tell Adrian the truth & she breaks up with him. Ven has yet to talk to Strelitzia about the kiss, because she currently has a lot going on & he doesn't want to add to the pressure. Axel points out how Ven & Roxas look identical & then they both become more curious to their parents history. Come to find out, Ven finds out Roxas' father is his real father, & that he & Roxas are twin brothers.
Situation (HU) Ven & Roxas are able to patch things up between their families. He's still struggling with recognizing Roxas' dad as his own, & not his uncle. Ven is close to his mother's husband, who he always thought was his dad & he always treated him as such. Ven is still crushing on Strelitzia & hasn't shared his real feelings with her yet. He tries to accept that she's happy with her new girlfriend & move on but Strelitzia gives him steady hints that it's actually him she's in love with. Skuld blurts to Strelitzia how she knows they both love each other & then Skuld tells Ven. Ven finally makes it known to her about his feelings for her & they begin a relationship & sleep together.

My Adult Animation Recommendation List
Below is a list of adult animation I would recommend to anyone who wants to watch animation with deeper meaning than crude jokes and sexual humor.
Serving as a spinoff from Hazbin Hotel, Helluva Boss is about I.M.P, (Immediate Murder Professionals), who are a trio of imps who go to the Living World to assassinate humans for bitter Sinners in Hell. Rowdy Blitz leads the team of married couple Moxxie, a weapons expert and sharpshooter, and Millie, a rough and tumble imp with a penchant for slaughter. Sometimes they are assisted by Blitz's adopted daughter, Loona, a hellhound serving as a receptionist who is addicted to her phone and antisocial.
While there are sex jokes and crude human, there are hidden depths as the show is about relationships between family, co-workers, and both romantically and non-romance. It also carries themes of domestic abuse, classism, and trauma.
Currently the first season is complete and the second season is nearly half complete and available to watch for free on Youtube. It's an indie projected funded by Patreon, monetized videos, and fans buying merch and with each episode drawing in millions of views within the first hour of release, this is an instant hit.
The first of its kind, Spawn was released late night on the HBO channel. It featured anti-hero Al Simmons who makes a deal with a demon to return to Earth to see his beloved wife, Wanda once again. However, he is returned years later with a severely burned body and Wanda has since moved on, marrying his best friend Terry and has a daughter. Unable to cope with the loss, Spawn haunts the alleyways of New York, becoming an impromptu protector of the homeless, defending them from anyone who intrudes on their home, whether its mobsters, crooked cops, or other supernaturals.
Spawn is meant for mature audiences with depictions of sexual content, nudity, and severe violence. It's a plot that takes itself seriously and there are no gags or jokes. It ran the length of three seasons and can be watched on Max.
Based on the comic created by Robert Kirkman, creator of the Walking Dead comic, we meet Mark Grayson, the teenage son of Omniman, a Superman like hero with super strength and flight. When Mark comes of age, he finally comes into his powers and is ready to take on the moniker Invincible to follow in his father's foot steps. However, there is a conspiracy afoot in the superhero community which will end in conflict and heartbreak.
What starts off a typical animated superhero tv show, inverts itself by the end of the first episode. Be warned, there is plenty of blood and violence as this tv series doesn't pull any punches when it comes to realistic violence between super powered individuals.
The first season can be found on Amazon Prime with a second season coming out next year.
Brilliant series from Netflix. What's great about is that while it is based off a video game series, you don't have to be a player or familiar with the game at all. I have never played nor plan to play League of Legends, but that didn't stop me from being engrossed int his amazing series.
Two sisters, Vi and Powder are orphaned during a failed uprising of oppressed Zaun against the wealthy city of Piltover. Through a series of tragedies the girls find themselves as adults on opposite sides of the conflict as the war between Zaun and Piltover brews up again.
Beautiful animation, layered thoughtful story with wonderfully written characters which tackles themes of war, oppression, mental illness, technology, terminal illness, childhood trauma, fatherly love, and so much more.
First season can be found on Netflix with the second season hopefully coming next year.
Originally on TBS and created by Olan Rogers, Final Space was about Gary Goodspeed, a prisoner whose 5 year sentence is near an end. He's been living in isolation maintaining a satellite and about to lose his mind until a little green creature he names Mooncake arrives. The two become fast friends, but unfortunately, there is an all powerful warlord is after Mooncake because he's the key to opening a dimension into Final Space.
While it initially comes across as your run of the mill adult comedy, I honestly thought it was a rip off of Futurama before I watched it, it has way more depth. While Gary comes across as a talkative goof, he's passionate and loyal to his friends, deeply in love with his love interest, and is willing to put himself through pain and danger to protect them. It's a found family story with the characters going through epic lengths to save the universe.
There are emotional gut punches delivered by awesome voice acting and talented animators. But, I got sad news. It lasted for three seasons without a proper ending. Now some good news, Olan Rogers got permission to finally end Final Space in a graphic novel coming out hopefully next year.
Reimagined from the classic video game franchised, Dracula avenges the unjust death of his wife by declaring an unholy war on humanity and only three people can stand against him. Trevor Belmont, the last surviving member of a family of monster hunters, Sypha Belnades, a magi from a group of shunned nomadic scholars, and Alucard, the half-vampire son of Dracula himself.
The character development is well written over the course of four seasons. Handling tough topics such as grief, revenge, self-destruction, and corruption of the church while presenting intense fight scenes with some of the best animation I have ever seen.
All four seasons are on Netflix with a follow up series called Castlevania: Nocturne coming up soon.
